Careta is as her Aspect depicts, most of the time. The Aspect of Loss is a deep one and has lead her to an almost sorrowful, meloncholi attitude. Even faced with the sight of her own blood her reactions are simpler than one would assume. As if some previous loss far out weighs any new ones found. Though, she is not always found so. She is known to smile and even relish in the natural order of Hueco Mundo. The weak are consumed by the strong and the strong take power. She respects the pure ferality of it.

She is more than willing to defend herself from those who would try to consume her by the laws of Hueco Mundo. Those fighting that live are often left with a sensation of something overwhelming, but too subtle to put into words. As if a piece of the puzzle of the fight has been left outside of their reach. Many are disturbed by this and others still simply shrug it off as nothing more than a sensation of her Aspect imprinted upon them.

GENETIC LOOKS

Appearance:

Careta strikes a strange sort of figure, in truth. Exotically beautiful with a strange promise of something entirely deadly. Her skin is the shaded color of ash with hair only a few shades lighter than her flesh. The remains of her mask seen along her jawline and coming over her ears through her hair which is oft pulled into a high ponytail.

Her mode of dress is what likely draws the most attention as it's not something typically seen being worn by an Arrancar. A sort of moulded cloth covers her body like a base suit, high necked and long sleeved. But more strange is the light bone armor she wears. Markings along it's surface indicate that it may have been fashioned from Hollow Masks. The armor encases her throat in a strange sort of collar. Her shoulders and forearms and the lower half of her right leg (from the knee down) as well as her entire midsection.

Bone Appearance:

Shards of her previous mask still remain. Along her right and left jawline are slender lines of bone that disappear up and into her hair. Poking through her hair almost as if in mockery of what many Living would call an elf.

Sealed Zanpakutô:

Her Zanpakutou appears to be a simply made wakizashi. The sheath for it is white with a black crescent moon at it's center.

Sonido's Second Step: Careta is able to preform two rapid fire Sonido steps. The second Step she usually nullifies her reiatsu for to keep her true location a surprise.

Release Actions:

The blade must be stabbed into the sands of the White Desert. The blade does not resurface until she seals her Release.

Ressereccion Appearance:

Her mask completely rematerializes into a solid white sheet of bone with no features upon it at all. The 'ears' of the mask sweep back dramatically about half a foot in length. Her fingers extend and form into long claws (not fingernails, but her fingers themselves). Similar claw like spiked appear upon her elbows and well as her knees.

Ressereccion Abilities:

Las Dunas Blancas: The White Desert itself seems to become her ally. The sand moves and manipulates itself to act as a shield for her against opponents she may not even see and allowing her to move and manipulate the sand and quartz as she wishes. This is within a 200 ft radius around her (though the Desert itself has no such limit).

Careta is also able to sup direct from the source of Hueco Mundo's reishi, allowing her to refill depleted reiatsu at seemingly will.

Careta calls up the sand to encase her into a tomb, this tomb and herself seem to blow away in a breeze.

Dues Ex Appearance:

She resembles her Ressureccion almost identically, however her body is no longer flesh, but sand.

Dues Ex Abilities:

El Cuerpo de Arena (The Body of Sand): Very simply, Careta's body is made up of the sand of the White Desert. She may collapse her form at will or change her body's basic outline or harden her body to quartz and back again.

This does make her vulnerable to fire or heat (which would solidify her body to glass which takes much longer to change the nature of. If shattered as quartz or glass, it would take her a week to regain herself. (A real time week, unless admin provide a time jump.)

PAST

History:

In life, she was a simple farmer's wife. She had three children and a loving husband and while they were poor and often ate less than it took to fill their bellies, they knew a sense of happiness. Still, in those times medicine was held by those with yen in their pockets and when sickness swept through their little village, it took her children first. Her husband only lasted a year after and the following months filled her with such a deep, horrible sense of loss that she took her own life.

Such a death is not kind and her soul was unable to pass on. Her Soul Chain forced her to the bodies of her children, or rather, their graves. And for a while it seemed to sooth her. However, the gravestones were soon corroded and the names worn away from even her memory. She wept constantly and each tear that fell seemed to quicken the devouring of her Soul Chain.

When graverobbers came to the ghost town, she was beside herself. She would not stand for the desecration of her children's graves and it was enough that her Soul Chain disappeared. The scream that tore from her throat was not human...she had become a Hollow. The graverobbers were the first she devoured and from there she was a terror across the surrounding villages. Yet always returning to the gravestones of her children.

This continued for years and years until souls and humans could not slake her hunger. She heard the calling of Hueco Mundo, as all Hollow would if allowed to continue to feast. But in her twisted and insane mind, she heard her children calling for her. quickly following and from there time lost all meaning. She became a Menos.

When she awoke from the evolution of Menos and Gillian as an Audjuchas, the only thing she could feel was loss. She had lost something along the way and she couldn't find out what it was. Her twisted body wandering the dunes, ignoring the worst of her hunger pangs in search for whatever it was that was lost to her.

It was in these years that she became aware of Hueco Mundo as more than a desert. She had not feasted and was weak to the point of de-evolution. It was Hueco Mundo who brought them. Scores upon scores of Hollow for her to feast on. She grew fat off the offering of the Desert, who'd become her companion and the Desert bore unto her a gift.

She was small compared to the massively powerful Audjuchas, yet she was beyond their power. Some who know the story whisper that this was the birth of the first Vasto Lorde. Even Careta doesn't know if this is true or not, but she was the first who Hueco Mundo showed the greatest secret to. The ability to shatter one's mask. She became an Arrancar.

Others would learn this secret as well, but Careta had no desire to know them. The White Desert and she became like a mother and child, roles constantly reversing throughout the years. She learned to listen to the heartbeat of the dunes and was able to sense things the Desert wished her to know over seemingly impossible distances.

While she was listening, the Desert showed her Las Noches, a vast castle that was built by a creature similar to she that named himself the King of Hueco Mundo. Such titles meant nothing to her, and only once did she meet Baraggan.

It was also true for the coming of Aizen and his Shinigami, unseating Baraggan and taking over Las Noches and warping it into something else. Though, the Desert did not seek her to challenge such beings. It knew that their stay would be brief and from them would be birthed an entirely new era of Arrancar. The Desert wished this and it wished she not be known by them and lulled Careta into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Years came and went and Careta would eventually awaken. Once more prowling the lost and far dunes of Hueco Mundo...until her curiosity would have her. Compelled her feet to move towards Las Noches like they had not in countless years. She would see what these Espada were and how they acted and how they represented what they were.
