Mirja, The Mad Wolf
Mirja liked Vastime. It was a place were she could relax, but also find somewhere to train and find someone to train with. Most of the time, anyway. Right now the training ground was irritatingly empty, leaving Mirja staring at her fist with bunched muscles and an intense focus on her face. There were several new theories bouncing around her head, and one she couldn't even begin to start without a second person, so that left the one Iko named, Wolf God Fist - how humble of her - and the Footwork technique. The one that had come to her while sprinting through the Tundra with Beetle on her back.
Mirja thought about the little tyke for a few seconds, but then shook her head. She was part of something huge, and Mirja was not one to impose on that. And she just didn't like large families, they made her nervous. Instead, she focused on her fist again. It was just like her Motionless Fist, she could feel the power inside her, what would be her Reiatsu if she could let it out, but no amount of forcing it had ever seemed to produce anything outwards. Her vents were just too dense.
However, dense ports or not, that didn't stop her from using the energy inside to great effect. She could feel it would work really well if she could focus all that pressure into one part of her fist, and then slam it into the enemy, but so far it had been being a bitch to do anything with. Probably, because she had kind of neglected it until now and treated it as if something that was not even there. Which was sort of true, she had barely given the energy inside her a second thought. Until now.

Mirja, The Mad Wolf
Mirja was not having much luck with her focusing of her powers. But then, it would be like a couch potato suddenly going for a twenty mile run. It wasn't something that would just happen overnight. So, she thought to herself, maybe she should try focusing her energy in an audioable fashion. It sounded like it would be a good thing to attempt. She had seen in some old media that people got stronger the louder they shouted, and she wasn't about to pass anything off right now. She needed all the help she could get with this.
"Huarhhh" she started, unsure how loud she would need to go for this. Clenching her fist and staring at it as she powered herself up with her voice. There wasn't any noticeable change, so she put more effort into her Power Scream. "Huarhhh!" her lungs were quite the potent thing, so she could go considerably louder than most people, which to her meant she could get stronger than most people as well. However, there was nothing, she could feel her Reiatsu flow, but it wasn't moving the way she wanted it to move. Which obviously meant she needed to put even more power into this.
"HUARHHH!" her voice could easily be heard now across the entire training ground and beyond. She could feel something building up inside her, and became giddy with anticipation. She could do this, she would do this. This was her time, the time of the Wolf God! It just needed a little more.... "HUARHHH!!" her voice was reaching it's peak now, and was probably a bit disruptive to everyone who just wanted some peace and quiet in the city. She would apologise later, but right now, she could feel the pressure that was building up start to release itself. But not in the manner she had hoped.

Mirja, The Mad Wolf
Hoping that nobody saw or heard that little accident, Mirja brushed herself down, and tried to keep from blushing. Focus was needed, and it was something she really lacked. Well, lacked without effort, anyway. Moving away from the smelly spot so nobody pointed the finger of blame at her, she made sure to waft a bit in it's direction again, before getting down to really focusing. Her other technique, Motionless Fist, was pretty difficult to create. Hell, she had a mental breakdown before she nailed the workings of that one. But, she'd prefer to avoid something like that for this one. So that meant she needed to get down to the nitty-gritty works of her inner Reiatsu.
It wasn't that it was difficult to feel, exactly. She could sense the flow of it inside her, like a strange, constantly moving river that was so a part of her she barely even noticed it unless she paid attention. The problem was getting it to do what she wanted to do. Visualization was something she needed to work on for this technique, and it wasn't her best. However, an idea popped into her head about it, from the thought of it being a river.
Maybe she could dam it to go where she wanted. Built Reiatsu barriers in her mind that made it think there was no way it could go that way, force it into another direction. It certainly couldn't hurt to try. So she closed her eyes, sat on the ground, and began to do just that. It was like her Sword Meditation, only without the sword or intent to go into an Inner World and chat with the many residents that were there. This was more her internal energy being corralled how she wanted it to be.

Mirja, The Mad Wolf
It flowed. Mirja could feel it, intensely, and was kind of in love with the feeling. It was like she was intimately aware of every part of her body now. Sure, she wouldn't sustain this mindset, it took all her focus just to do it, and so it was incredibly inefficient in a fight. But in peace time, well. She had her new favorite hobby. With a grasp on what it was that her body was comprised of, she held out her fist. This time, there was a great deal more than just screaming and intent behind her. She had a plan.
She focused on the idea of damming the flow in a certain direction, and could feel it moving to her commands. It was a strange feeling, the sudden pseudo-numbness of the void as her reiatsu came to a single point. But she could ignore it, it wasn't as if it was forever. Now all she needed to do was wait for it all to condense in her fist, and she was ready to let it rip. The flow was not particularly fast, so it took a while to get it all packed into one point. Another point outside the favor of battlefield application. Still, her speed would improve with time, she was sure.
Once her entire body's energy was packed into her fist, and thrust it forward into the chest of the dummy in front of her. Curious as to how it would work, with her Motionless Fist pulling off some pretty decent tricks, she was not sure what to expect, and thus was caught off guard when the dummy spontaneously disintegrated, and the kinetic force surged to the building behind the dummy, smashing a massive hole in the wall, and then devastating the interior decorating, and then blowing out the front of it before dispersing.
'WOO! WOLF GOD BREAKS FREE! RAGGED ROCK COMES!' Iko exclaimed loudly, clearly elated at the outcome of this. Mirja was less elated, first as her Reiatsu surged back into her body, throwing off her balance and making the world feel as if it was spinning very fast and nauseatingly, and secondly, she had just blown a part - admittedly a small part, but still - of Hayden's Vastime to high heavens. That, was going to be an awkward conversation, she thought, as the building in front of her groaned, tried to stay standing, and then collapsed in on itself.

Mirja, The Mad Wolf
Oops, Mirja thought as the building in front of her continued to collapse until it was just a pile of rubble. Scratching the back of her head, unsure if she should run away, she hung around, and eventually the response came. Police, and medical units arrived with decent speed, and Mirja felt very awkward as she shuffled forward to tell them that, no there was no bombs around, she had just punched it really hard. She seemed to make the police a little nervous at that, and so awkward standing around turned to him. He was unsure if he should arrest her, or just not because if she was telling the truth arresting would be quite the useless thing. Still, he let his instinct take over and ignored the wolf girl because he was totally unsure about what to do with her.
Mirja slipped off in the confusion, not wanting to add to anyone's troubles, and if they wanted her to get arrested, well, there were people around that could come collect even someone of Mirja's stature. So she ran off, and nearly hit someone, but a switch flicked on in her mind and she was behind him before he could blink. Stopping running, and looking at him, she smiled. That was actually a pretty cool move, so she thought back to how she did it, and then offered the man free coffee and cake at her cafe if he would stand still. He seemed to be a fan, and so Mirja prepared for a few moments, and then repeated the process, slipping behind him with intricate footwork, fueled by instincts built up over the centuries of practice.
It was beautiful. So she did it again! This new trick, this slip of footwork, was glorious. But then she went too far back and didn't manage to get behind him, instead landing half an inch in front of him with tail in his face. Tail that was inevitably hugged. She repressed her desire to punch the man - it was her fault, after all - and added it to the tally. There was a range to it, about six to seven foot was as far as she could travel with it. But still, it was pretty awesome. And with that, she carried on her fleeing, waving to the guy and remembering his face so she could do free stuff for him later.

Mirja, The Mad Wolf
Mirja decided to go a bit further afield from the capital after that little incident. Let everyone calm down, and then go explain and offer help, would be best. She'd make sure her cafe was closed and secured, and then go off to one of the more outlying villages around Somalia. She had this cool behind-you technique now, so she could show off and make cool quips and be generally awesome. So she moved at her usual low-mach speed until she arrived somewhere considerably smaller. Probably still within Vastimian borders though, weither they knew that or not was another question entirely.
So she entered the place, and she found that they probably did not know it. The look of the place make her feel as if she had gone distinctly further afield than she had intended. And this was one of those villages that had slipped trough the cracks of a newly formed nation. Sure, they'd get a nice Vastimian welcome soon enough, but right now was early days, and this was a very big continent. Still, she decided to check the place out to see if there was anything she could do. Maybe she could talk to someone in charge and see about bringing this tiny place into the fold. It probably had a hell of a name to it, they were in Africa, after all.
Unfortunately she came across a sight she would rather not have. Thugs. They were a fact of life where ever one went, even in the most pristine, or most heavily policed places in the world, there would always be holds in the wall for rats to hide. So Mirja walked over, to them, and got their attention. They replied in a very rude manner, and pulled up some makeshift weapons, so Mirja took her own stance. Her eyes boring into the main thug, and her body ready for a fight, it gave him pause. There was something about the situation that had suddenly turned unnerving. Mirja's intensity and her obvious skill in combat was pushing the ego of the thug down considerably, something that was interesting. She was very passionate about Vastime, something that had not happened before, and so she was portraying that passion into her form, which was sensed by the thug's subconscious, and led to him eventually fleeing the scene, followed by his cronies. It was a nice feeling, to win without crushing skulls. Now, if only she could find that leader guy.
