Henrex Astillon The Broken Raven Descend Into Darkness Iza jinjō ni shōbu! Well, things didn't exactly play out like a normal zombie situation should have, now did it? No, not really. Instead of a normal situation, where the living fight off the "undead" for as long as they can, something entirely different happened. Instead of fighting as one, Henrex had detected an immense amount of demonic power above the little party that he was in, and he had been too slow to fully avoid the effects. Two ten meter long swords fell from the sky, impaling the ground and sending a sharp torrent of air around where the impact was. Kuso... However, little time was given to recover, as the mysterious power let out a mighty stomp with it's foot, sending Henrex's entire body flying into the air from merely the air pressure alone. Black wings had erupted from his back, the illusions of the real wings of Henrex Astillon shimmered and allowed him to right himself within the air, before he was hit once again with a large piece of debris that had been sent flying towards him. As the impact of the Mach One speed item hit him, the male heard a loud, sickening crack, as he felt two of his ribs break from the impact. However, that was not all of the aftereffects of the assault. As Henrex kept himself from making any noises of pain from the sudden impact of the object striking and damaging him, he realized something elses. All he could hear was a loud ringing sound in his ears. The forces of the attacks had caused him to go deaf temporarily. While his ears were fortunately not ruptured entirely, it would take a long while before his hearing would return to it's fullest state. He was lucky to not be deaf permanently. More burns littered his Shifter Form's skin, leaving his skin a mixture of light pink, and deathly pale. Not even his energy had been spared, as he had felt 4% of his total energy drop and dissipate. But, even less time to recover this time. As a brilliant white light flashed before Henrex's eyes, and his arms shot up to his face to protect it from this. While he was not hit directly, as he was around forty meters away from the initial attack, but he still would receive a large assortment of burns that would litter his "false" skin. Even his Akuma Kyodo wasn't able to protect him from something of this level. More energy was drained, as was the level so water in his body, causing his soul to scream for water. As the floating ninja now descended towards the earth as a black and purple ball of fire, the loud thud that signaled his landing caused the male to let out a quiet groan. He slowly rose to his feet, before drawing his sword once again, and seeing that there was now an extremely large barrier separating him from the rest of the ground. Ignoring his internal pain and aiming to run forward to get back into the fight, Henrex soon stopped, seeing that more of the "undead" had risen, and currently blocked his way. Kuso gaki... A mental curse came from the male, as he readied his sword. He would have to get through them if he wanted to proceed. |

The snarling and ravaging of the undead bodies carried on as they slowly staggered and limped their way toward the one that stood injured before them. They carried no words with them, just a common goal. What this goal was, would be unknown to the outsider and any that wished to find it would come to see no answer from these meager beings. Yet, this entity that brought the dead to an animated state once more carried a mind with it. This much could be seen to those that were unaware, as the undead's' actions were carried out in unison. They worked much like ants did, never ending. They'd find no time to rest in their endeavors but wished only to turn this city into their home and continue to build mounds in every venue they reached. When one was eliminated one would fill the fallen's place in no time at all. Those that opposed this neverending force would likely be brought to a feeling of desperation, unable to find an answer to end this chaos and destruction.
The mass had made their way to a new target to plague with this unruly disease, a boy that seemed limp from previous ventures. The force would shift their attention his way and he would soon come to find himself in the current situation that he was in. However, the force would halt or would be prevented from moving any further, though their bodies would still try. It seemed as though a rounded line was set forth before this man that held his sword in wait for these enemies. Yet, they would be unable to carry on in his direction. A shimmer would travel from an indention within the ground and rise up, exposing the spherical barrier that prevented the undead from moving in on the boy's position. The undead would rip and push through one another trying to break free of this barricade that held them from their goal. Their savage attempts would bring them to striking and fighting off one another, the natural instinct of the members within their ranks being the reason for this shield.
This would hold to be untrue, however, as this barrier that was projected had no intentions to save the boy from the oncoming horde. No, it was created to gather those that were infected by this Juin so that they could be used for a greater purpose. With that, a purple cloaked figure would drift down slowly from the sky above. Her garb shadowing her visage, keeping her identity revealed. As she'd look up, the state of her right eye would reveal her status of being infected by the Juin itself. However, it wouldn't be as simple as that. She wasn't picked by the Juin, she chose it. She devoured it and made it her own. She yearned to hold it and harness it and show the true power that it held within.
As her foot gently pressed on the ground that was inches before the barrier, she'd place her hand upon the rounded surface as the zombies gnarled and ripped in her direction. They had realized why their actions had come to a brief pause. She'd turn her gaze from the barrier before her and bring her pupils to the corner of her eyes, looking back to Henrex. What little of her face could be seen was covered in bandages, as were her limbs that weren't concealed by the cloak that looked as a dress with a hood attached. "Do you fear for your life, for what is to come?" A voice would resound within the area, its source clearly the thin woman that stood with her back turned to the boy. Yet, the voice wouldn't beckon from her lips, it would surround the entire area as though it were played over an intercom without the low-quality distortion.
Returning her gaze to the captive undead before her she'd bring her other hand up to the barrier, as it did so a dark matter would rise from her hands as the zombies seemed to fall into a calmed state. They would no longer press forward and carry on with their savage attempts to slaughter the woman that remained untouched. As she did this, a dense spiritual pressure spew from her body, holding everything that was not beyond this barrier within its current place. This would ensure that nothing came and prematurely ended her life as she began the process. The bandages slowly removed themselves and the zombies began to deteriorate from their physical form and become a dark liquid with slight hints of a red vibrancy that shined through as it throbbed and struggled to make something of itself. The air was still, not a sound breaking the silence for a few moments until it was finally complete and her foot could be heard lifting from the ground. The immense spiritual pressure still holding all in a state of paralysis.
Her body would turn to the boy, her face now exposed somewhat, as the bandages seemed to have lost their usefulness of holding her power within their clutches. Behind her and the barrier she had created was a large gooey substance. It was evident that this was to become a creature of sorts, however, she had not enough power just yet. She would have to lie in wait and continue to collect the undead that continuously walked straight into the substance as though they were in a trance of some sort. With each zombie that willingly gave its life for her cause, the glob would expand and throb more immensely.
A smile cracking the face of the woman as her head tilted, her left eye blinking in solitude as the right remained open and continuously working, analyzing the being that was before her. Her spiritual pressure would release and leave the boy to move again, her grin growing larger as her teeth became exposed up to her gumline. "You seem like fun, I do believe that if I added you to my collection it would greatly expedite my climb to power. Will you join me?" She extended her hand, draped in losing fit bandages now the narrative question surrounding Henrex and others previously trapped by her spiritual pressure. It was naive for her to believe that he would join her forces, but at least she would try before she felt the need to force him into the position.

Kuhn had wanted to help deal with the big giant thing that had appeared but he figured his powers weren't strong enough yet to deal with something like that watching the others counter is outpouring of power while he simply tried to not die. Plus it had cut him off from the other Quincy. If he was stronger he could fight with them. If he could call on that power he knew he had within him, but he wasn't at that level yet. Besides there was still Henrex to think about. He had gotten blasted away from the battle with the big girl and while he seemed a little strange he didn't seem like a bad guy and probably could use some back up. Sure it wasn't as likely to land him a date was fighting side by side with the female Quincy but he was sure he could still make a story of it all later. So with that he turned his back on the battle with the giant woman to find Henrex.
He didn't see Henrex in the immediate area of where he landed so he searched around for spiritual energy in the area. Picking up on energy not involved in fighting the colossus he figured it would likely be Henrex so he headed in that direction. There were plenty of zombies in the area but Kuhn was able to keep the common ones from him easily enough using his plectra bullets and keeping to the roofs as much as he could now that he was away from the colossus he figured it would be safe enough now. There did seem to be a lot of them and eventually he realized they were barely paying him any attention. They were starting to wander in the same direction he was headed. That didn't exactly bode well considering they normally attacked anything and everything that wasn't infected. He figured something bad was about to happen that he really should stay away from so naturally that was were he needed to be.
When he finally arrived in the area what he saw certainly wasn't very encouraging. A strange blobby thing that the zombies were walking into making it grow. Whatever it was trying to become Kuhn figured he didn't want it to finish. Then there was the girl facing Henrex, yeah that was his luck running into one girl after another in this whole zombie mess and they were either enemies or separated from him and it was pretty clear that this girl wasn't exactly friendly. Kuhn wasn't sure what was going on or what the girl was planning on doing but he figured step one stop the blob thing. That may or may not mean dealing with all of the zombies in the area to prevent it from doing anything since they seemed to be making it grow larger and while he didn't exactly want to kill any of these people hoping they could still be fixed he would do what was necessary. He raised his weapon aiming it in the air above the blob. He pulled the trigging launching his dust bullet into the air where it would burst apart raining energy blasts in the area some would land on the blob itself others among the zombies wondering into the blob if nothing blocked the attack.
He figured that would at least give him a little bit of time to do something about the girl as he turned his weapon on her. He wasn't sure what her deal was but she didn't exactly seem friendly still just in case he was wrong he formed a sphere over the top his barrel. It would certainly hurt but in case he was wrong about her being an enemy likely wouldn't kill her. He pulled the trigger launching the sphere from his gun so that it would ram into the woman. If it wasn't blocked or dodged. It would be like Kuhn had thrown a dodge ball at he woman except the ball was moving as fast as a bullet and was made of pure energy. The impact may hurt and possibly break a few things but wouldn't explode or anything on impact. Once the sphere hit something or lost its momentum it would slowly dissipate into the air.
"Hope she wasn't your friend or I would have to feel bad about hurting her. To answer your earlier question I guess I can fight with you for a while."

Henrex Astillon The Broken Raven Descend Into Darkness | Artist: Toby Fox | Song: Megalovania | Word Count: 1,207 | Ringing. Ring, ring, ring. Hands shot to his ears and covered them as his footing messed up and he stumbled. The world had been silenced. All that was left was an annoying ringing sound that would not go away. Grumbling came from him as he shook his head repeatedly to attempt to get the ringing to stop, but nothing worked. Smacking his hands against the sides of his head and his ears didn't even do anything. It seemed that he would have to deal with this for a while before his hearing would return to him. Now that one of his five senses were unable to be used, he would have to focus even more. So, he kept everything at bay. Summoning ten orbs to circle and swirl around his body, he allowed the orbs of energy to fly towards the undead creatures, before the energy that was held within the orbs to eject in the form of spikes, possibly impaling hundreds of undead creatures on one, or even multiple spikes. As the spikes slowed their movements, even more black and purple spikes would shoot out from everywhere on where the previously made spikes already were. So, if these creatures had any kind of mind, or affinity for sensing danger, they would have to act quickly to get out of the way. However, as Henrex went to attack again with his energy, something seemed to pop up out of nowhere. A spherical barrier formed to prevent the undead creatures from closing in on him any further. His attack vanished instantly, and soon, both hands gripped his sword, awaiting for something to happen. What had created this strange barrier? If it was someONE, then why? Why would they do this? His senses picked up an energy signature in the sky, and his body whirled around the face it. As this female descended from the sky, Henrex found his grip tightening on his Zanpakutō. Her foot pressed against the ground, and as that action was made, Henrex's entire body released a wave of Za Koa energy in attempt to cover a good portion of the area that he was in with his half-demonic energy. If this new stranger had any way of countering the effects of his Za Koa spreading through the air, she would have to act quickly, as his energy was spreading quickly. If nothing stopped this, Henrex would be able to sense the actions of the creatures behind him, as a replacement to the loss of his hearing. In terms of sensing their actions, it would allow him to detect the movement and the location of everything that the energy of Toketsu was covering. As a strange echoing made it past the obnoxiously loud ringing in his ears, Henrex could hear no words from this. He could tell that it had said something, but was unable to fully understand what was said. So, he responded. In the form of a shout. Since he couldn't hear much of anything, he raised his voice so that he could hear himself and make sure that he wasn't whispering or mumbling. "WHAT?" Blinking twice at the female that stood before him, he felt an energy seep into the area, causing the undead behind him to go into a calm state, before a large bout of spiritual pressure came down upon him, forcing him to stay in place. The pressure did much more than that, as Henrex felt his air supply be roughly cut off, leaving him being strangled, with him being unable to move, or even breathe. He could only watch as the strange liquid that were once the undead began to flow and travel into the strange glob that was behind the woman and the barrier. Something spoke again, but this time, it was more clear. The spiritual pressure that she had emitted lifted, and quiet breaths came from Henrex as he nearly fell to his knees, before he stared the woman in the eyes. Add...to her...collection? Join her? His eyes narrowed and he rose his sword into a kendo guard, and ten more orbs would appear around him body once again, circling his midsection over and over. Three words. That would be all he needed to answer. Two black wings spread from his back, and the instability of Za Koa and Spiritual Energy started to kick in. As Henrex rose his head from the bowing position, both previously pitch black orbs would simply be crimson red. "Go to hell." And, with that, Henrex would then raise his sword above his head, before more words would leave his mouth. "Pierce the heart, and sever the soul, Chiya." As such words were spoken, the simple katana that Henrex Astillon held aloft would fade in color to a very dark purple, before turning pitch black, and the shape of the object would begin to change. As the pitch black item stretched it's form out, before one of the ends of the large, almost pole-like object that had been formed would begin to curve, forming an extremely simple-looking scythe, before protrusions would burst from the hilt of the new weapon.
The weapon soon faded with the purple and black colors, and it would now be a very distinct red and black color. A small aura of purple energy surrounded the blade of the scythe, and five more orbs would surround Henrex's body, totaling up to fifteen around his body. Three of which would move towards the curved blade of the scythe and push into it, vanishing and giving the scythe a dark purple blade, along with it's aura. Bringing the now mildly heavy weapon up to his shoulder, Henrex's body would shoot forwards with a burst of speed, before the movement would transcend into the Shinigami's Flash Step, and his body would vanish for a brief moment, before reappearing a few feet closer to the woman, before bringing down the scythe. As the weapon hit the ground, the weight of the object would cause small fractures to form within the earth below, and a large wave of energy would fly from the blade towards the woman, who would most likely only be a foot or so away. The wave that had been sent towards her would have the possibility of tearing through the clothing and bandages that she had, along with the possibly effects of tearing through flesh if she did not get out of the way. However, this wave would not be easily stopped by a hand, or some other limb. It would continue travelling towards the massive glob that had formed from the essence of the undead that had merged with the strange thing. As the wave continued to travel, Henrex brought his scythe back to him, resting it very roughly at his side, slamming the blade into the ground, digging it a few inches deep. However, it seemed that Henrex was not alone in this fight. As his hearing returned to him, he could hear the voice of the Quincy from before, and his body turned to face him. "She is most certainly no friend or ally of mine. Whatever she intends to do, it seems she intended to use me as something to power her. I don't trust that blob thing. Can you try and destroy it while I take her on?" |

"Oh?" The surrounding voice cut through the still air around them that seemed to only be broken by that of speech. As she hummed a giggle would crack her lips and raise her cheeks as her head tilted slightly in curiosity. She was rather surprised by the boy damning her to hell so quickly. He had not even a single question to ask her about what she wished to do, had he never seen any sort of cartoon or anime? The villain always gave away their plans ahead of time to the hero. It made no difference, however, as that wasn't something she was willing to conversate about at this time. As of right now, she was more interested in the one in front of her and gathering the lost lives that surrounded the two.
Since the boy had declined the offer she so kindly gave to him, it was only right that he would carry on and progress with the fight in the manner of which he did. While she had never experienced something like a released spirit for some reason or another the Juin that resided within her and held her creation and guided the nodules within her very mind had knowledge of what it was he was doing. Though, how it was done was different than what the database within her head held. There were many memories that flashed through her mind that showed her others using this ability and none of them seemed to be similar to this one. Which could only drive her to believe that such an ability was unique to each potential user? It interested her, she wished to convert such a being with such a power and let it work for her cause.
With the weapon now to its form, she could only anticipate that the next step would result in some sort of immediate attack from him. Yet, as she thought this her attention would be drawn away from the one in front of her as she could feel a disturbance in the energies that were dispersed in the area. Bringing her profile visible to both Henrex and Kuhn she smiled glad that she held the honor of fighting both lovely gentlemen. Though this turn to see Kuhn wouldn't last long as she was aware of the upcoming assault that was to be placed on her by Henrex. However, before she would bring her gaze back to Henrex he would have already leaped at her and sent the attack his way. Her lips drew flat as her hand whipped up and held the energy blast that was sent from the blade of the scythe. It continued to exist as though it were traveling as her hand seemed to grab it. Though, if one were to look at her hand close enough they would notice a pink hue that glowed upon the skin on her hand as the bandages were torn away by the energy of the blast. A giggle would echo out to the group as her face was filled with glee, the infamous tilt of her head returning once more as she looked to Henrex.
"My, my... you both are so quick to act upon a helpless woman." She smiled as the energy blast she held her head turned from it's original color to the pink hue that her hand held. The pink color would consume the energy and convert it to Juin with just the touch of her hand. Once the energy was consumed by the Juin she would simply toss it into the air where it would rapidly accelerate and smash into the many attacks that were placed onto the blob, missing many that still made their mark. When she did this the energies would meet and join together as one instantly, increasing the size of the original energy blast created by Henrex before it was fed into the blob. As for the other attacks that carried onto the gooey substance they simply acted as a benefactor as the previous attack. She just wished to make a display of her power to the two that were before her.
As she was finished with these small acts she'd find her own body under assault once more by the Quincy as he sent a large orb in her direction. Using the ability that the boy had displayed to her earlier she vanished from sight before reappearing. In doing so she would drop the shield that she created and let the attack pass into the blob as it continued to grow larger. When she would reappear she would bring her hand to her mouth once more and giggle. "You're both so cute! This will be fun!" Her voice exclaimed from all directions, her tone was so playful for someone that seemed to be so dangerous. At this very instant, she could easily be scaled as a being that was capable of acts to that of a zero tier, however, she was in a fresh state and her abilities were unique and required her to take a dent in her power level once her initial growth was finished.
"Now, let's carry on with this!" She stated as she rose a finger, the pink hue from earlier returning and glazing the tip of her finger. With a simple thrust of her energy that could be seen resonating from her toes to the single raised finger, a beam was launched into the air. The beam would fire in a continuous stream until it reached approximately one hundred feet. When it reached this climax it would disperse into a fine dust, or glitter rather, that fanned out in a dome for a mile. As it slowly descended into the area the undead that resided would be put into a frenzy. Their limbs growing in strength, providing them an next level power in their strength, speed, and endurance. "This should keep you busy!" She shouted before bringing her finger back down and then thrusting her hand with a peace sign in front of her before giving an innocent wink. As she did so, she would softly wave her other hand before her abdomen marking the two that were before her with a scent that the zombies could follow. This was similar to what was placed within the substance that she had growing behind her.
When she would do this the undead's attention would be averted from their previous goal of feeding the glob to the other two. This would bring them off of any citizen that they feasted upon and send them at high speeds and strengths to Henrex and Kuhn. As the attack began, the Juin manifestation would place her hand upon her creation and lightly jump away from a small distance dragging the substance through the zombies that charged in mindlessly. Her orb now growing to enough energy for her to finally bring herself to her goal...
Kuhn had to admit that this lady did at least know how to put on a decent show for them. She made a point of being able to stop somehow change Henrex's attack and use it to block his own though Kuhn did note that not all of his dust bullet had been stopped. A few shots still rained down upon the blob and the surrounding zombies but most of his attack had been stopped. He figured it was to much to hope for that when their attacks had turned pink cause of whatever the hell this ladies power was that it would still hurt the massive glob forming. At very least did why did it have to make the thing seem to grow even faster. He got the feeling that this girl wasn't going to be very easy to take down. This whole situation wasn't very appealing to Kuhn but sometimes things like this had to be done.
"Well damn it man. I don't like attacking girls, I'd rather ask them out but if she's the enemy here I guess we don't have a choice."
If she thought he was going to sit back at let her do whatever she wanted well that was just wrong. He still had a rooftop vantage point and he was ready to use it. So far attacks directed at the that strange mass of zombies had only been absorbed and made it grow faster. As much as he appreciated the divide and conquer strategy he wasn't so sure that it was going to work in this situation until the mass had actually formed something solid they could hit. So while the woman was giggling and sending a laser into the hair he figured why not try a bullet that worked a little different. He loaded up his thunder spark. This ability wouldn't be caught and changed so easily as it pierced anything it hit burning through their body like a zap of lighting. He aimed dead center of her chest and pulled the trigger.
Of course it was about that time that she managed to launch her little beam into the air which dispersed as the weird powder substance that sparkled. Sure it looked perfectly harmless but Kuhn was a bit worried about what it would do. He logically assumed it would affect himself and the other guy but it didn't feel like it did anything at all to them. Instead the undead below seemed to be whipped up into a frenzy like he couldn't believe. At that point it really wasn't very hard to put two and two together. This woman was making something from her blob formed from countless zombies and she could whip these ones into more of a frenzy then they already were. Yeah she probably had something to do with this whole situation to begin with. Goal number one quickly became to defeat her.
If he could find a way to take this woman down if she really did have something to do with this whole thing starting then maybe they could save these people from whatever the hell she had done to them. It was a noble heroic goal. Take down the bad guy saving countless lives in the process yeah it was sure to get him a date or two back home. Of course that sounded a lot easier in his head then what she was making it in real life. He had let himself get distracted by the powder and zombies long enough that they were now clearly after the two of them while she was starting to get away. Stupid of him get so distracted like that. At least he was up on the roofs for now. Yeah the undead people might find a way up eventually but the other guy was still on the ground and in greater danger. As much as he didn't want to have to fight a lady her certainly didn't want to be trapped in this situation alone so support time it was.
Kuhn started moving leaping along the buildings aiming at the zombies no headed toward the guy down on street level. After popping a few with his Plectra bullets he quickly realized they weren't just being more aggressive and moving faster they weren't going down as easily. That wasn't going to be a good thing. Still just because they were gonna be harder to kill didn't mean they couldn't be slowed down. They were still mindless undead. He prepped several Tempest blasts and let loose aiming around Henrex his bullets erupting in massive gusts of wind knocking down zombies near the center and knock back others still. It was likely that these zombies would trip up and knock over other zombies making an undead pill up which would at least give him time to react and figure something out. The thorns on the side of his weapon would release each one aiming for a different zombie. Making sure this guy survived the angry zombie hoard so they could take down the evil villain together, not as heroic but a smarter strategy.

Action, Adventure, Romance~! Well, maybe excluding romance, since there was nothing romantic about the quest she signed up for. Work's been lacking lately, and the journey for the throne seems to have halted to the point that it'd be better to hone her skills rather than hone her wordplay. Besides, how could one be an asset to the Sugiuran race if they weren't even powerful enough to defend? A good test of power was going out on a dangerous mission, one that would not only give her something to do, but even help out and maybe make the world a bit nicer of a place. Besides, with a mission that reminded of her cheesy movies she saw when she was a bit younger, how could she say no?
It wasn't long before she was already on the field, staring down at the streets from up above on a rooftop. It was far different from expectations, considering just how grim and gruesome the scene before her was. Blood, gore, and especially the rotten smell of decaying corpses. It brought not only a scowl upon her face but a feeling of utter disgust. Any sick being willing to cause this upon a town of innocents deserved a fate worse than death, and that could be her job... but honestly, making things a bit safer was a much better start than trying to gun straight for what caused all of this. Besides, she wasn't the best investigator, only a fair tactician in battle. Emphasis on fair.
The Black Hood needed to come out with a bang, though someone seemed to already have beat her to the punch. It wasn't hard to sense the energies in the distance battling, which already set her on edge. Others here had begun to release their energies in away that definitely gave the impression of hostile -people-. Not undead, but a full on brawl between one supernatural being and the next. This could cause issues, far too many issues if left untouched, so Kayta did the best thing she could, eavesdrop.
The woman took a few quick leaps over rooftops and buildings until she could finally observe the scene from a relatively safe distance. The sights that she saw were things that made her feel uneasy and sick to her stomach. Undead crowding about, a blob that was just teeming with energy, and even an odd woman who seemed to be in the center of all of this. It was rude to make assumptions, so rather than just pounce on who just -seemed- bad, she decided to watch for a few moments, observing their battle from a distance to dictate who's side she should join.
And it wasn't hard at all. An odd burst of energy coming forth from the only other female in the area as the undead went berserk, charging and rushing towards the other two living things as the strange blob seemed to gobble up anything in its path. Interesting, and definitely a cause for intervention, but how? It didn't take a genius to tell just how much power this being was packing, she's met enough amazing beings to spot anything of a relatively similar power from a mile away...
Well, can't be -too- hard. There seemed to be two others, a whole extra person than the time she's had to deal with the assault on her homelands. There was hope, and now there was one other thing she needed instilled for everything to go about smoothly, a fighting chance. The Black Hood stood tall now, letting the black cloak that was draped over her flutter a bit before tearing it free from her form, letting it fly off in the wind as her full visage came into view, looking closer to a military official than anything. The only thing covering her chest looked like it was only beach wear, hiding the essentials as her legs were covered in cargo pants, satchels of ammunition strapped about along with what seemed to be two knives near each of the heavy looking boots she wore.
'Ah, to hell with it, why not start off a little stronger than normal, right~?'
And so the Sugiuran of Voracity lived up to her title and activated her Thirst for Power, the immense spiritual pressure of a First Release felt only for the -faintest- of moments as Kayta only needed one thing from it. A single ability to use while in her base form. Both hands were soon raised in front of her, knuckles pointing straight towards the odd female figure in as fingers clenched, a faint shine seen as two weapons formed in each hand. Shock and Awe. Quite simply put, they looked like modified Uzi's, though any person could tell they were teeming with as much spiritual energy as Kayta was herself.
Both were aimed and already brought together tighter, energy condensing as a single shot was sent forth from one of the weapons. It wasn't a bullet, wasn't a cero, wasn't even a bala, no, it was -much- quicker. A small piece of condensed energy that soared through the air to try and hit the girl anywhere possible, and if successful, her Warning Shot would already take effect. Whatever it hit could already feel itself being drained of energy, any spiritual, magical, or supernatural defenses being held up were forced to drop an entire tier for five posts. Any Hierro's, any magical shields, -anything- that wasn't their own physical body would be weakened.
"The hero has arrived~! Or at least the thorn in ya' side, Kayta's the name and I'm not so keen on letting you keep up this act of disgrace against life itself."
Her smirk began tog row as big as her ego was, something that -never- was truly broken from her in any of the training sessions she took part in. A quick glance were given to the two males, seeing if they had at least noticed her.
"I'm here to help you two, so just don't fuck up. I'll handle myself, if you need me to do something specific, shout it out. All I know is that she's making all of this worse, I have -no- idea what she does."
Sure, she could have easily heard all of that, but what type of Villain would she be if she didn't allow one of the protagonists to give their whole introduction when joining the fray? It was almost as rude as interrupting the villain before they could spoil their plans to the hero!

Henrex Astillon The Broken Raven Descend Into Darkness This woman...no, this creature. They were...strange. As Henrex's Shikai was released, his mind was processing everything that she had said, before stumping on the one thing that she had done. Offered him to "join her". At first, he thought he meant fight for her, but then, after hearing the way that she spoke about it. Thoughts for later. He thought, before focusing back on the main issue...or rather, issues. Plural. One of which was that she had managed to counter his energy wave. Not exactly counter it in the terms of negating the blast entirely, but she simply held it there, before giggling. Hearing her say that she was "a helpless woman" simply caused Henrex to roll his eyes. Helpless? Her? Tch. Gripping his weapon tighter, he allowed one of his hands to drift towards his side, before his fingers snapped, and fifteen black orbs would surround his body, and his hand would then move back to gripping the scythe in his hands, returning to a two-handed grip. His eyes narrowed as the sight of his attack changing in energy signature from spiritual energy, to the Juin's energy. And then, just like that, the energy was tossed into the orb, making the blob even bigger. As her voice exclaimed from all directions, Henrex could tell that this person was not just some random, weak creation of the Juin. She had gained power, and with their energy, gaining more. If energy attacks didn't work against her, then what about physical attacks? Perhaps it would work. The only thing he needed now was the woman to be close enough to hit. As she fired off a beam, and the dust-like substance settled, he watched in a mixture of fascination, horror, and fear as the undead creatures seemed to grow in strength, their limbs bulking and their minds becoming more and more broken. Utter chaos. A sigh left the male as he hefted his weapon, but then, a shot went off. A single shot of condensed energy soared through the air, towards the woman that was holding the blob, and The Raven's head turned towards where the blast came from, and saw Kayta. As she introduced herself, and stated that she was there to help, a small wave of relief washed over him, before he quickly used Flash Step to dash over to her. "Don't use anything with energy. From what I've seen, she can absorb it into that...blob." He said, before launching himself after the woman, before nearly getting swarmed by the frenzied horde that were the undead creatures. Slashing in wide arcs around him, the blade of his scythe swiftly flew through the air, slicing through flesh and bone, and sending the heads that had been cut through into the air, before the smacking of flesh and blood against the ground would be heard. Twenty or so down, a couple thousand to go. Perfect. Sighing gently, Henrex created more and more orbs around his body. Allowing them to focus their primary location to be directly in front of him, he allowed the energy to sprout forward, sending thousands of incredibly sharp spikes towards everything that would be in front of him on the ground. Hundreds of bodies wold be impaled on these constructs, but they continued to move and writhe as they didn't give up on trying to attack and devour the ones that had been marked by that woman. Bringing his hand up and closing his eyes, Henrex groaned as he began to recite the words to Hadō #33, Sokatsui. Ye lord. Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. He muttered, and a large orb of blue fire would spark to life from his hand, then firing towards the corpses that lay on the spikes. A large, burning explosion took place, sending embers and flames everywhere in the area, causing some of the surrounding undead to suddenly catch on fire. Not that it would do much, as they were already dead, and most likely in this strange state, could not feel pain. Leaping off his feet and taking off with his wing, Henrex soared after the woman with the blob, keeping his scythe at the ready. I'm not going to let you get away. |
