WELCOME TO HELL

Song: N/A - Artist: N/A - Words: 672

Metal whirled through the air as Kokuto fought his way through a group of demonic thugs that had attempted to attack him to gain greater power. However, Kokuto was no pushover when it came to combat. Using his chains to their upmost potential, sending many demons flying, only for them to come back. A psychotic grin spread across Kokuto's face as he continued to fight, now drawing his sword from his side. Now fighting with his chains and sword, Kokuto continued to fight his way through. It was mildly fun to fight like this. So exhilarating! The heat of battle! The adrenaline pumping through his veins, making him WANT to keep fighting!

"You fools! Where is your HATRED!?"

Kokuto screamed out as he whipped his chains around his body, then shot his arm outwards, causing the chain to snap in that direction, causing a loud CRACK to echo throughout the Chaya Nation. The demons that he was fighting soon realized that they were outmatched. It didn't matter how powerful you were, sometimes. If someone was more skilled than you, they could win. So they learned their place very quickly. They turned and ran. But they would not simply be allowed to escape. The former Sinner chased them, laughing incredibly. With his white teeth showing in his sinister jaw, Kokuto's glee was immense. With so much fun currently happening in this fight, Kokuto's grin was growing ever wider.

Pulling his left arm back, Kokuto soon starting twisting it around, causing the chains on his left arm to swirl and spin around his body. It was time to finish this. These demons were brave, but they were WEAK. Kokuto would make sure that they would realize that. Leaping into the air, Kokuto pointed his sword down, before screaming one single word.

"DIE!"

Slamming onto the ground into a kneeling position, a pool of lava would form where he had landed, and multiple orbs of fire scattered everywhere. Landing 15 meters from where Kokuto landed, these orbs would form a massive circle with hundreds of gaps. Removing his sword from the ground, Kokuto slowly stood from his kneel and grinned at the devastation he was about to cause. The orbs slowly began to connect to the others through fire. Forming a solid ring around Kokuto and the demons, a massive wall of fire would sprout from this ring. Now, these thugs had no escape. They wanted to fight. And they weren't leaving until Kokuto said it was over.

Purposefully weakening the Za Koa energy in his sword, the blade of it would weaken. Kokuto would raise his sword high over his head, and the weapon would drop towards them. Instead of bruising and wounding the demons, Kokuto's sword would stop moving, freezing directly above one of their heads. Bringing his left foot back, he would drive the toe of his boot into the stomach of the demon he currently was facing. As the poor lad clutched his gut in sheer hopes that he didn't vomit out his breakfast AND lunch, Kokuto simply looked down at the demon, scoffing.

"Is that it? You'll never break these chains."

Kokuto closed his eyes and scoffed again, pulling his curved sword up, before allowing the black blade to rest on his shoulder. Shaking his head at the arrogance of these demons, Kokuto snapped his fingers, allowing the giant wall of fire to fade away into purple energy. Sighing and allowing the chains on his left arm to dissipate as well, Kokuto simply was...disappointed. He knew that sometimes you had to fight to survive here, but if everyone was as strong as those guys, it really didn't seem like you needed much.

Looking towards the sky of the Demon world, Kokuto wondered if he would ever find someone to truly have fun with....

VALENTINA

Song: Snow's Theme - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 695

Commotion.

That was the first thing Valentina noticed as she entered the realm of demons. There was some kind of fighting that she could hear nearby. Shame, and Valentina came here to visit a friend too. It seems that they would have to wait. Whoever was fighting needed to be taught to respect the peace. The peace that the demon world seemed to have so little of lately. The girl sighed behind her scarf and rested her hand on the hilt of her blade. She wasn't in the mood for this. Her bones felt like lead from having just woken up a few moments ago, despite it being halfway through the afternoon in the living realm, yet she already decided that she was going to commit to this bullcrap. At least it'd help wake her up.

"Valentina." a deep, masculine voice said from within Valentina. The girl was already walking calmly in the direction of the violence. Whatever her Ziamichi spirit wanted, he probably wasn't going to get it.

"Yeah?" The girl responded out loud despite no one else being able to hear her spirit. It was a bad habit she had started when she was little, and she was too lazy to break it. It had caused her a lot of grief and a lot of awkward stares sometimes, but the redheaded hybrid couldn't really care any less. As she turned to angle her path more towards her destination, she could feel the spiritual pressure of all the people that were fighting. Not only that, but she could see them now.

"Try not to get too dirty. You should look as presentable as possible for your dear friend."
The voice inside her spoke. Valentina couldn't help but laugh a little at her spirit's cleanly habits.

"It's odd to hear a Dragon telling me to be clean. Didn't think you guys had standards like that, just that you were big, intimidating, horned salamanders with wings." Valentina joked, stopping a decent ways away from the man who now towered over several unconscious -or possibly dead, Valentina didn't know- demon bodies. Internally, Valentina could feel Michael was slightly offended, but he stayed quiet due to the fact that he knew his host was about to address this man.

Looking at the man in the distance, Valentina noted the fact he was looking at the sky. Nothing she hadn't done before, so she didn't really consider it all that odd. In fact, nothing about him was odd. She housed two and a half story tall dragon inside her for pete's sake.It made this man look normal, even while he stood over a bunch of other demons that he had clearly been fighting up until recently. Another sigh escaped the girl's lips before she lowered her stance slightly, only to vanish from sight in an instant. No flashes, no special effects, she was just gone.

"I do hope you understand what this looks like."

From no more than a foot behind him, the man would hear Valentina speak these words, a little bit of her spiritual pressure emanating from her being. To the man, it would feel like she was about his strength. Yet if he turned around to strike at her, he would find that it would be blocked by a bland looking sword that the girl held in a reverse hold. If he didn't strike at her, he would still see that she was holding the sword in her hand in said reverse hold. This kind of hold was meant for defense, as the user can extend more of their arm forwards to put more force into blocking strikes.

"You must be looking for a fight still, no? You don't look tired, nor do you seem too satisfied with those guys you're stepping on." Valentina would add, putting her free hand on her hip. The man wouldn't be able to see any more than her condescending gaze on her face. Everything else was hidden behind hair or her yellow scarf that blew in the wind, much like her wavy twin ponytails. "I'll knock you clean out if that's what you want. That's about as much as you're gonna get from me, though."

WELCOME TO HELL

Song: N/A - Artist: N/A - Words: 422

Oh? Someone was here! Another one to defeat? Perhaps. The former Sinner slowly turned his head over his shoulder. Seeing the girl who had showed up, a sinister grin formed on his face. Removing the curved blade from his shoulder, Kokuto would begin spinning the chain at his side around in circles. Tilting his head to the side, his grin would grow wider. He could feel a large amount of power from this person. Closing his eyes and bowing his head to face the ground, Kokuto would respond.

"Yes, dear. I am nowhere NEAR tired. Lucky you! You're next on the chopping block."

Using his already Enhanced Speed, Kokuto would speed over to Valentina, making a single slash attack that would face downward. His immense strength would cause many weak defenses to falter from a powerful strike such as this. Follow up his attack, the chains on his left arm would lash out, with Kokuto's left arm whipping out to the right, causing the chains to follow. Leaping backwards into the air, Kokuto would then slash his sword in two downward movements, causing energy waves that were purple in color to fly from the blade towards the girl.

Ability Used:

Landing on his feet, Kokuto would use his wings to quickly recover from the landing he made, then zoomed forward, whipping his chains forward. With the chain on his left hand being tied to his sword, the blade quickly launched itself forward, aiming to cut the girl. The actual chains on the other hand were simply meant to disorient and confuse the girl who was his enemy. Hopefully, with enough of these chain attacks, the girl would be left open for attack. Charging forward, Kokuto quickly used Shadow Movement to get up and behind the enemy and try to attack her from behind, slicing downward with one single strike. However, he would then slice three more times at her.

While in the air, Kokuto quickly fired off one more energy wave that was Yuugokuujin, before landing on the ground and dashing back, setting his sword on his shoulder, and grinning. With everything he just used, she might be interested in what this demon might have left within him! Those demons before were pathetic morons who just threatened people who couldn't fight back. Kokuto wanted a REAL fight. Resuming the spinning of his chains around at his side, Kokuto would await the retaliation that would hopefully come from this girl. However, Kokuto was just getting started! Would this girl push him to his limits? Only time would tell now!

VALENTINA

Song: Snow's Theme - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 695

Valentina watched as the man told her that she was next on "the chopping block". Whatever that meant. Either he was full of himself or he was full of himself. Or both. Valentina could only raise an eyebrow in mock disbelief at this man's words. Her mockery was cut short as the man charged her, his sword already raised and being brought down on the girl with surprising force. Valentina's reflexes were just good enough to block the attack, and her strength was more than enough to hold up against the strike.

As she watched the man whip his chains at her, Valentina grunted as she leaped backwards, just managing to clear the chains that were aimed to strike her. When she looked back at the man, he was gone. Still, Valentina knew where he was. Charging up a small portion of reiatsu for an attack tended to give away one's position. Looking up, Valentina saw a wave of purple energy flying straight at her. The girl's speed was sufficient enough for her to leap backwards several dozen meters, trying to put some distance between her and the man.

Yet that didn't quite work out for her. The next thing she knew, there were chains flying at her and trying to land multiple blows. Valentina blocked each of these with ease, her somewhat superior speed allowing her to keep up with the man fairly easily. It wasn't necessarily that he was weak, just that Valentina was more powerful than him. Her energy level could easily surpass his, giving her an easy time. She just wanted to teach him a lesson in the meantime.

As the curved sword flew at her while attached to a chain, Valentina managed to sidestep it and prepare her sword for more attacks. Once more, the man sped towards her with speed that Valentina had trouble keeping up with. Her instincts kicked in, and her sword was flipped from a reverse hold to a normal one. When she spun around to face the man, she barely managed to block his blows, deflecting each strike by angling her sword in different fashions before the man disappeared again. Once again, Valentina found herself facing a large wave of purple energy. This time, however, she decided to grab her sword with both hands and lower herself into a proper fighting stance for the first time this fight. With one powerful swing, Valentina shattered the blast of energy with her sword, sending fragments of the energy into the air around her.

After this, the girl sighed and stabbed her sword into the ground. The man seemed happy with his handiwork, and Valentina thought it was okay at best. She didn't vocalize this, for fear of enraging the man and forcing her to actually work to fend him off. With a sigh, which she seemed to be doing a lot lately, the girl dusted herself off almost mockingly, paying more attention to her clothes than her opponent. She wanted him to understand that he was hardly a match for her. Or at least, he was in her eyes.

"Is that all you've got? I haven't really been trying, as you can probably tell." The girl said, brushing the bottom half of her dress off. Looking at the man, she could tell he probably wasn't going to give up until he had won, or Valentina left. Maybe it would be best if she prepared for some kind of trick he had up his sleeve. He probably had more abilities than what he had shown so far, she thought as her eyes wandered over his form to gauge his physical abilities. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to defeat all those demons. Unbeknownst to her opponent, a small roman numeral "V" appeared on her forehead, although it was hidden behind her hair. She was prepared for his next attack, even if she looked like she was still dusting herself off.

ENTER THE REALIZATION OF FREEDOM

Song: Monster - Artist: Skillet - Words: 709

How incredibly boring! They didn't even attack back! Perhaps a release of power was necessary? Yes! Release the first seal of power! The demon grinned as he twisted his sword upside down and slammed it into the ground, before drawing his hands lose to him and cracking his knuckles. Maybe if he released the first seal on his body, it would cause them to fight back! So Kokuto did just that. After cracking his knuckles, he would outstretch his arms. As his first Demon State activated, the first seal of his power cracked and shatter, which would increase his power by 25%!

It may not have been much, but it was still something. With his hair beginning to flow upwards, Kokuto's entire form began to change. The single angelic wing that he had soon changed, along with his demonic one. Both of the grew in size and changed in shape. Instead of taking on a demon or angel, it seemed to be more onto the shape of a common bird. A few black feathers dropped from these wings of his as his transformation continued. With half his midsection being covered in a black, armor-like item, the Akuma Kyodo on his body would be reinforced in that area, but yet weaken on the exposed flesh of his. With multiple silver trinkets that served little to on purpose on his belt and legs, Kokuto's transformation was complete.

Even with a somewhat small change to his appearance, the power that Kokuto gained from simply being in this form was mildly impressive. Removing his sword from the ground, Kokuto would point the weapon at this person. However, there were two things different. The blade of the weapon was now a deep red color instead of the usual black, as did his chains. Kokuto would dash forward, priming his Burning Chains and Blade of Hell to strike. Slashing downward and whipping right, the chains on his arms and blade would serve to perform a combination attack.

Spoiler:

Swinging his chains wildly, he had hoped to create a bit of a field with his chains. Attempting to manipulate the chains in a certain way to trap her in so that she had no choice but to at least attempt to get out, she would find a very nasty surprise if she touched the chains. These new versions of his chains were able to burn targets if they did not have the proper protection. But that was no the only goal of Kokuto within this new form, oh no! Zipping across the ground, he would then stop when he was directly in front of her. Thrusting his sword out, this action would cause a shockwave. This shockwave would stun her for half the post, and the shockwave would push her back ever so slightly. If her focus was high enough, perhaps she could avoid the stun. After this, Kokuto would say three words. That would be all he needed to start this up.

Spoiler:

"I'll kill you!"

The attack began. Slashes from left and right came towards the girl, all of them with Advanced Strength level, due to his Demon State activated. While Kokuto attempted to make a salad out of this girl with his burning sword, his mouth would emit nothing but laughter as he continued to slash and slash and slash! However, his assault soon stopped, and his hands would move towards his chest to gather energy for a brief moment. Quickly finishing the charging of the final part of the attack, Kokuto would thrust his arms out, saying two more words.

"STAY DEAD!"

As he said this, a purple and black shockwave would erupt from his hands, knocking her back. This final attack was far more powerful than the rest, with the energy wave being on par with about three to four Ceros! If all this worked out to plan, Kokuto would not even stop for a moment to allow his opponent to recover! Flicking and whipping his wrists around, Kokuto would, this time, resort to wielding his chains to damage his enemy. After this barrage of attacks, Kokuto would then use his wings to take to the air, and simply hover there, whipping his chains around his body while he waited. Perhaps NOW the girl would fight back!

VALENTINA

Song: Snow's Theme - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 1028

Valentina watched as the man's appearance changed. His wings altered their look, and his weapons seemed to glow red with heat. It was unfortunate that the man had fire based attacks. At least, it was for him, not Valentina. Shortly afterwards, the redheaded girl could feel the effect of the man's spiritual pressure changing. It was definitely more powerful now. Not by an absolute ton, but there was definitely a big increase in power. It seemed he was serious about this fight, unlike Valentina.

It wasn't long before her adversary struck at her once more. This time, he was trying to overwhelm her by striking with his sword and chains at the same time. Valentina couldn't help but scoff as she quickly pulled her sword out of the ground and blocked the strike, using both hands while the chain struck at her bare arm. It wasn't particularly painful, the burn mark that was left on her upper arm, but it definitely stung. Due to her slight use to fire and burning herself, she didn't seem like she cared too much. As far as the man could tell, no part of her facial expression had changed, and she wasn't even in some sort of fighting stance. It was all to mock the man and make him as angry as possible.

"You're not very good at this, are you?" Valentina wondered aloud as she started to find herself entangled in a trap of chains. It didn't bother her too much, and even though she found herself getting stung by more burning chain strikes, she still didn't seem to care all that much. It wasn't until the man swung at her did she start to care. When Valentina felt the shockwave hit her, knocking her back slightly, she had to raise her sword in preparation for what was to come. That shockwave definitely wasn't all this man had in store for her, she knew that much. She just didn't know what.

Then he started to swing at her violently while threatening her life, sending waves of energy towards her in an attempt to cut her. Valentina was still somewhat dazed from the shockwave that had hit her just a moment ago, and while she did manage to block some strikes, plenty of others got through. Her skin was cut in several places, her dress also taking some mild damage. She didn't expect this, and due to her laziness and lack of interest in this fight, she was now taking damage. Damn, she just loved her own arrogance. Especially after making fun of her opponents arrogance in her head. Now she just looked like a hypocrite.

After the flurry of slashes, Valentina managed to take a step back and lower her stance, now looking at least somewhat serious. Her heart was pounding somewhat faster as she found herself now the target of what looked to be a rather large attack. Due to that awful shockwave that had dazed her momentarily and lowered her defenses, Valentina didn't actually register in her head that the man was charging an attack until it was far too late. All she could do now was raise her sword and defend as much as possible.

Hearing her opponent shout out those last three words made Valentina furrow her brow. What a little shit, thinking this would kill her. Then again, she had only released enough reiatsu to let the man know think he was around her level. Shouldn't she be the one toying with him and not the other way around? Valentina didn't get much more time to think about it as she was soon engulfed in a blast of purple and black energies, the power of it doing a fair amount of damage to her. The redhead could feel her body strain to keep itself upright as the blast forced her into the ground and created a small crater around her. When it was all over, she was still standing, albeit hunched over now, and there were now patches of scales here and there on her body. Some on her arms, some on her legs, one of her cheeks, part of her neck, and a little around her abdomen underneath her dress. It had helped her withstand the attack, but not by too much. The scales soon faded and gave way to her normal skin once more, showing that those spots protected from the blast had not sustained any damage. Even still, those scales had only protected about 25% of her body.

Spoiler:

Even after an attack of that size, Valentina could see that the man was not tired. He had not taken any injuries since Valentina hadn't attacked in return, and seemed still eager to do more damage. The girl was growing rather impatient with her foe's actions. From her hunched over state, she looked up at the man and growled slightly from behind her scarf.

"Valentina, what did I tell you about-"

As her opponent started to swing his chains at her once more, Valentina shifted her scales to cover the entirety of her right hand -her free hand- and raised it to catch the chain mid air. With her strength, she was able to hold onto it to keep him from swinging them around anymore. She wanted to see what he would do now.

"I've had enough of your shit." Valentina scowled. And at that moment, Kokuto would feel it. The entirety of Valentina's spiritual pressure released itself, her 2-3+ tier showing itself in its full glory as a pure red glow started to emanate from her. Without any hesitation, Valentina pulled on the chain as hard as she could, intending to pull her adversary towards her while rearing back for a full blown punch. The force of which would cause the man to go flying several dozen meters unless he caught himself midair and managed to block the scaled fist in some way. Even then, there was a fire around Valentina's fist, and as she struck him, whether he blocked or not, an inferno of flames would be emitted from her fist with the power of a cero.

"If you want a fight, you can have it. Just know you couldn't possibly win."

ENTER THE REALIZATION OF FREEDOM

Song: Monster - Artist: Skillet - Words: 715

A large grin burst out on Kokuto's face as the battle continued from when he transformed. Blocking the attack from his sword, but the strike to her with his chains were more than successful! If he could get enough hits in with his Burning Chains, then perhaps the burning could keep her from fighting! Sliding his tongue over his lips at the thought of this girl being helpless against his attacks. The mere thought was amusing.

The he heard it. She taunted him. Wasn't very good at this? Well, it HAD been 400+ years since he had fought anything! He would obviously be rusty. Instead of becoming more angry, Kokuto simply grinned. He wasn't mad. Hell, it was a true statement. Kokuto simply shrugged. He really didn't have much to say to drag that on. After Enra Gometsu was finished, Kokuto had noticed something about his opponent. She had been injured in those attacks. Good. Perhaps now she would have the brains and/or the guts to fight back.

She certainly did have the guts to dodge, but not fight? How pathetic. However, the face of Kokuto would soon be changed. Hearing her growl at him was music to Kokuto's ears. Frustration. Anger. Hatred. Kokuto loved it all. He WANTED it all. A larger grin burst out onto his face as he whirled his chains around his body. It was good that she was getting pissed off. It was something that Kokuto could use to his advantage. However, it seemed that she finally seemed to be getting the memo that he was taking this fight seriously.

The response was glorious.

The full extent of her spiritual pressure. A glorious 2-3+ tier. Power. The power that Kokuto desired. A satanic grin would spread across his face. Now it was getting to be a real fight. However, the next thing that came was even more glorious than the spiritual pressure that the girl had just released. A single punch, coated in flames. The limb that hurled itself through the air to attack the Former Sinner was indeed powerful, and had the force of a Cero, but Kokuto had something that would aid him to guard himself from this. His Akuma Kyodo. Turning to his side to reveal that black, armor-like item on his body, the punch would collide with his shoulder, making several cracks in it.

However, it was not the Akuma Kyodo that had cracked. Instead, it was the Energy Shield that Kokuto could use and bring up at near any time. However, he had basically blown that thing's load out before he could use it more! The shield shattered mere seconds after the attack connected with it, causing not only the Former Sinner to be vulnerable after the attack, but also, most likely, the girl. Taking this opportunity, Kokuto would quickly twist himself back around, spinning his leg outwards, hoping to kick the girl.

After this, the body of the Former Sinner would slowly meld into shadows and move. Shadow Movement. Using the Demons's answer to Flash Step, Kokuto would quickly move to be right behind the girl. Swinging his chains to the left and the right, Kokuto would once again try to attack with his burning chains, aiming to scald and weaken his skin and the defense that the girl had used to protect herself against Enra Gometsu. Perhaps this fight would last longer with that defense of hers!

Quickly using Shadow Movement to get away from his enemy, Kokuto would swing his sword in three different downward directions. sending three purple energy waves known as Yuugokuijin flying. The Spectral Prison Blades would fly through the air and aim to hit the girl in unprotected regions to do more damages. However, the Former Sinner would not stop there. Whipping his arm out, the chains that burned with the flames of Hell would surge towards the girl along with the Yuugokujin attacks. This girl would have a hard time avoiding these, most likely, if her speed wasn't high!

Kokuto grinned at his own marvelous work of his Za Koa and his energy usage. It wasn't every day that something would make him cut loose! Perhaps this girl would drive him to the point where he would need to undo the second and final seal on himself to access his full power! Maybe, just maybe!
