» Appearance Description:

“ Crazy or not, fuck with me or my brother and you’re dead! Dead you hear me!”

Itami, the Gray or Silver-Haired Brawler, is a slim youth whose tall stature intimidates many. Standing at about 6’1” and sporting strong edged features is running trait in his kin (younger brother). They both have the potential to be graciously beautiful though their lack of money and expensive clothes leave them… lacking. However his eyes are sterling silver, a direct contrast to his brother’s radiant gold. Exaggerations of course but their eyes are a special pair.

Like his brother, Itami wears Karakura school uniform albeit informally and rather lax. At times one can find his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, other times his shirt may be undone at the top. Outside of school, he is fond of the color black and is comfortable sporting a long-sleeve shirt and slim jeans. He has a hand-woven bracelet on his wrist that he never takes off. After an incident about a year ago, he was forced to wear an eyepatch over his right eyes, he also has a well-healed burn stretching from his wrist and up his left arm.

» Personality: Life has harden Itami into a thick, coarse wall. Even though It may be more accurate to call him a monolith. The way he stands upright and tense, even when seemingly relaxed, can intimidate most people. He is regarded by others with various nicknames, usually due to his renowned fights and devilish aggressiveness when it comes to others. Outside of being viewed as a conflict-starved beast, he can often be seen actively ignoring others if not avoiding humanity all together.

Having no parents or other positive role models has allowed Itami to be himself. He speaks his mind with blunt and obviously uncaring intentions. When it comes to his brother he takes a slightly different method, usually refusing to give him any answers he may know in hopes that he’d attempt to come to a conclusion himself. Due to some nagging feeling, he refuses to trust adults.

» Background: Informed that he was eighteen while recovering in the hospital, Itami was wildly unsure of it all himself. He sat in the commonplace bed perplexed. Not exactly confused but simply there. Simply living. For the first few days he had refused himself any interest in his past. Instead he watched whatever the TV was left on that day.

The fifth day seemed like it would be the same but he was wrong, in fact it changed his very view on life and forced him to seek out the truth. That day, a young boy with crimson hair and a rather kind smile on his face was strolled in beside him. The interaction was weird. The two stared at each other with an unspoken and uncertain tension between them. Though distinctively different Itami could see, what little he had of himself, in the boy.

The feeling was awfully mutual. Itami could tell, though he scowled openly about it.

The nurse and a number of other doctors finally revealed their situation. The two were brothers, Itami the eldest by a year. They were taken to the hospital after car accident injured them and a few others. It was in the news but Itami hadn’t paid it any notice.

He noticed that, Yorokobi he found out his name was, had a gleaming prosthetic arm. Tami wondered if it was from the accident but quietly looked away and towards the window before he lingered too long. The next few weeks he learned that the two of them got along extremely well. Yorokobi was talkative but he didn’t mind his voice like he had everyone else. When they were finally released, Itami set off to get his and Yorokobi’s life together. He enrolled the both of them in school, though his finances prevented him from buy a house. The little bit of money he had made was spent towards their clothes and actually smelling bearable.

In the mirror, he could barely looked at the cotton eyepatch that hid the autonomous eyes hidden in its socket. In school, he showed an aptitude for learning that surprised a lot of the faculty that knew his past. They hated him and loved him at the same time. As society would dictate throughout all of history, anything different or misunderstood would be treated like outcast. They quickly learned that Itami and Yokorobi were adept fighters, they had the slightest clue what training that had undergone to be so fierce. Lately Itami has been regretting his decision to enroll in Karakura High School.
