Song: Megaman Legends - A Place Nobody Knows

Here he was, for some odd reason, having found himself on this side of the planet and on top of a strange mountaintop no less. Everything about this area was bright, sunny, warm, and clear as he flew his way over the large rock formation; except for the top, which is what made it so strange. Where everything else was covered in thick amount of trees and sandy areas, the top of this mountain was seemingly painted in white in a haphazard manner. Snow, for no reason, on top of a mountain in the middle of a tropical area. He was sure that the woman broadcasted for him to meet there though, so he wasn't going to doubt the location after finding out what he did about the cursed shield; anything was bound to happen in this world. "Master... I think this is it." came a voice from near his chest, a small vixen glancing up from the middle of his half zipped-up jacket. "Yeah I see it Nina, brace yourself." he warned, steering the plane towards the mountain after giving one more pass around it.

The aviator would make his way to a safe spot to land, the plane creeping to a halt before he let the dark furred creature slip out from its practical safety harness, the inside of his zipped up jacket. He felt a little bad that he didn't have the materials to make that seat belt for her that he promised, and even now, he still couldn't make her the protective brace necessary for her to be in the seat during his flights. Next time though, he'd make sure to get to it next time, no delays. In either case, once they both made it out of the plane, the two would find themselves in the presence of snow and a somewhat windy atmosphere, still clear skies, but very chilly temperature surrounding them. This wasn't what he was here for however; Lex was here quite frankly to get his mind off of the visions he had about the woman, Pyra. As strange as it was, there was no point in his life where his evolved ability to see events of his past variations would change into anything different.

The funny thing was that his 'evolved ability' by that standard was different to begin with, everyone of his timeline being able to see their ancestors, not find out through these visions that they had past variations that actually existed. That's when the thought crossed his mind, could it be that this Pyra woman was possibly his ancestor, that his ability to see these visions was correcting itself on what he was supposed to be watching? That could be it, but something deep inside of him was making him feel that there was another explanation to it; something about that woman was specifically reaching out to him, he already had three visions of her so far, and each one becoming more intense than the last. Even now, just the thought of the majestic woman of interest was starting to make him uncomfortable again, the images of her death and the pain of losing her coming in small waves through his mind.

"Master... Master! You're doing it again... what has gotten into you lately?" came the voice of his close companion, snapping the dark skinned man out of his miniature trance. He cleared his throat and glanced down at the dark grey vixen, seeing the pair of concerned sapphire blue eyes staring up at him. "Sorry, come on, we need to get going if we're to find this girl." he advised while moving forward, going straight for the igloo where he was sure the woman who had broadcasted her intentions was sure to be.

His second reason for being here after all, her interesting words of 'finding out what kind of hero you are.' Now, Lex was no newcomer to heroic acts, by technicality anyway, but he gave this quite a lot of thought after the incident in the forest and talking with the dragon girl Selia. He had to make sure his heart was in the right place. By now, Lex knew damn well that his past variations weren't always good, whether they had good intentions or not, some of their goals having twisted into the element of chaos to get the justice or order in the world that they desired. He couldn't have that, he couldn't afford to ride that fine line between 'good' and 'evil,' become a simple vigilante or a simple criminal either. If this person could help him define his desire to help others in a way that didn't compromise the world, he was all for it.

No matter which variation of Lex he had witnessed, nine times out of ten, most of them were vengeful, protective and mostly caring, but vengeful... vicious... merciless. He couldn't afford to go that route, not with this life, and it wasn't that he felt any different about any of his past philosophies, but he didn't trust his own power. None of his past lives had such great power to this degree, ever. Each one had their own unique thing about them, yet he had a unique thing and could achieve everything the previous ones could. This, was dangerous; if he was going to be responsible, he needed to take this into consideration and treat it like the serious situation that it was. He had to keep himself in check with his thought process or he could be a major threat for the world.

He couldn't help but crack a smile at that thought. How delusional to think himself so important, right? He must have picked up that trait from the other Lex variations as well. Either way, this was the first step, defining his heroic merit and not choosing just to save who he wanted to save or serve what he wanted to serve. He had no wife to dangerously obsess over as far as her protection, at least not now. Only the world was his obligation, so he would treat it with the same amount of sincerity and concern.

With that thought, he had reached the igloo and knocked on what he assumed was the door several times, not even sure that this person with an affinity of ice was even around. The small sentient creature sat by his feet, staring at the door calmly as her black tipped tail swayed slowly side to side in wait of their host, keeping her attention to her master's thoughts since they arrived. She was used to the variation of him that was during her timeline being serious as well, but not this serious, it was a bit odd to say the least. She just hoped he didn't take his self appointed position too seriously as the other one did, she would hate to have to do something she would regret to him as well...

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: Kenichi Koyano - Song: Airport - Word Count: 1024

Another day, another adventurer.

That is what Cirno thought of as she sensed the pulsation of a familiar presence approaching her snowy domain. It seemed that this summit was becoming quite the well-known place in order to hone and focus a persons inner heroism. Since, as the weeks and months passed after The Snowy Child opened her doors to the world, The Angel Iramasha's home had seen many visitors seeking to embrace their righteous light in the hopes of awakening something holy within.

It was honestly quite the beautiful thing to the frigid spirit because she never imagined that her training, teachings and tools would ever be used to this extent. Watching all of these souls grow with the guiding assistance of her hand made the frozen youth quite happy. As, within the depths of her mind, there was something about that generous persona within that wanted to come out and help push the celestial further towards her angelic roots. The more perceived good she did, the greater the desire that this gentle nature inside yearned to come out and show her true charitable spirit to a world filled with darkness.

It is for this reason why Cirno would then be awaiting atop her igloo for the plane to drop down. With a thrilled grin smeared across her face, the ocean haired youth let her hair blow against the tender, milky skin of her neck. Meanwhile, those sparkling blue eyes of The Angel would fixate themselves upon the bronze skin male readily approaching her home. With a wriggle of the hips, the four foot eleven Iramasha would leap from her peak and land her barefeet against the crisp sound.

While putting her hands on the hips of her pale dress, the six frozen wings behind the holy being would seem to flutter with anticipation and giddiness. The reason being is because she was excited to get another round of training underway. However, that wasn't the only motive behind this reaction either. As, when she inspected his face, she recalled the male from a risky undertaken they experianced none too long ago.

Indeed, he was recalled as one of the heroes whom assisted with the fight against a foul beast which tried to devour the depths of life within the shadows of Karakura Forest so many eves ago. Therefore, from this positive experience, The Angel of The Ice would welcome him with open arms and give the oak skinned male a quick, friendly hug before jumping up and down with a bit too much hyperactive energy.

"I'm so happy to see you, Mr.Lex! I'm glad to see that you are doing OK!"

Those words came off as very gleeful and filled with booming childish energy. As the voice of Cirno became overflowing with an impression of cheer, openness and a total sense that everything was going to be alright. This atmosphere was exuding and spreading around them in the form of an illuminated mist of light which was white in hue. And, the purpose behind it was to help Lex relax, be at ease and feel himself succumbing to thoughts of joy, well-being and serenity.

Why all of this -- one might ask? Simple: awareness. Cirno was quite aware of his body language and there seemed to be something rigid and harsh about it. Therefore, out of her own heart did she want to help this man unwind, repose and calm down to a placid state of being. It may be a bit pushy, yeah, she knows that, but the angel ultimately meant well by it and she'd hope he'd fill the same! After all, she had all too much optimism to believe otherwise.

Though, in all of her commotion, The Iramasha seemed to forget there was a companion with Lex as well. So, to make up for this, Cirno would poke the strange vixen by the man's side and snicker a bit at it. This is because it was so tiny that The Angel almost thought it was some form of fairy or another. Which, to her, was even more hilarious because some considered herself to be a fairy as well. Thus, they would be in great company if she was't too offended!

"It's also nice to meet you, Mrs.Tinkerbell!"

And like that, she already slapped a nickname to the spirit; despite not even knowing it's name. What a roll she was on!

None the less, they both were probably here for urgent matters and Cirno needed to see to it that she attended to them. Henceforth, a self-assured smirk would creep upon the lips of The Holy Child before her eyes locked with Lex's. It was time to get down to business and see what the Glitched Prophet came for!

"Now, I take it you aren't here to visit me for fun, right Mr.Lex? If so, can you tell me why you've come to my home? Are you here to find your wings and become a hero of justice? If so, I'd be super happy to help you find that!"

With that open invitation given to the man, the ball was then tossed into his court and it would be up to Lex to determine where he would want to go from here. Would he accept the offer, or did he have something else in mind? Time would tell what he yearned for -- and Cirno was so amp'd to find out!

As, to the holy child, today was going to be another exciting day of training, discovery and building another figure to help shine more light into this world of abyssal darkness. There was simply no other path to go down as far as THIS Angel was concerned.

Ergo, all that was left to do was to observe each of the visitors and gauge their reactions to the proposition the all too gittery and giddy Angel of The Ice offered each of them.

Hopefully -- they'd make the right decision!

Lex would have been bewildered by the sudden upbeat and spunky attitude of the girl if he hadn't seen a sample of it in Karakura Forest, but he still couldn't help but snicker all the same. Once she spoke to him, the man would give a warm smile before folding his arm at his waist and politely bowing. "Hello Ms. Cirno, I have heard great things about you, and it is nice to see you are doing OK as well." he responded. The gesture seemed nice enough, but something was instantly putting him on guard even more ever since her appearance from her igloo. There was a strange energy emitting from what seemed to be an illuminated mist and he could feel it instantly, feeling himself be coated and dare he say empowered by a foreign aura of some sort. Despite the impressionable woman's obviously good intentions, the man didn't have to give it a second thought on doing something about this. Bluntly put, he didn't just trust anyone these days, old friends becoming his enemies and counterparts becoming dead, he wasn't exactly in a relaxed mentality nor did he want to be. He needed to be on guard for anything as far as he was concerned, if not from Cirno herself, then anything that could happen from outside sources.

He glanced over at his vixen summon before glancing around, Nina almost getting it right away before hearing her master's voice echo into her mind. 'Nina I know you can feel it too, I need you to absorb every bit of this aura that is trying to enter into me, I'm expelling it for now, but in case I may need it later for training or anything else then keep it on hand so you can return it to me.' he commanded in thought. 'Yes master.' she responded before beginning to concentrate a bit to absorb Cirno's 'presence' from around the tall man beside her, having a bit of a challenge considering that the entire mountain top was covered in the mist. While she was doing that, that was when she was suddenly poked by the short and majestic woman in front of her, startling her far more than what something like that would usually do due to her putting such focus on her task at hand. The mass of dark grey fluff quickly leaped onto Lex's shoulder with a bewildered look on her face, her deep blue eyes looking at the girl before giving a sheepish smile at how flustered she seemed to make herself.

'Nina, concentrate on the task.' Lex quickly ordered telepathically, letting her know just how serious he was about not taking in this new energy without a cause for it first. 'R-right, sorry master.' she responded before focusing on her task again. The vixen was left there perched on the man's shoulder for a moment before she heard the bright colored cladded woman give her a nickname of a fairy, causing a nervous chuckle to escape her. "Hehehe, I'm not that small you know." she said, her tail swishing back and forth in excitement from being addressed by the woman all the same. As Lex thought on it more, he began thinking that he could figure out even more about the girl by having Nina do something else for him. With a steady move of his hand as not to alarm Cirno, the man would pull out the pair of goggles that he had on while piloting his plane and adjusted it onto Nina's face, getting an idea on how he could play his next move off quite well. "It's pretty misty out here all of a sudden, does it usually get like that up here? I would imagine it's cause of the weather differences in this spot I assume. Nina's not too much of a fan of it, it's usually impossible to find her in it once it gets thick enough." he half joked, snickering smoothly at his words as he finished adjusting the piece of headgear onto the creature's face.

In truth, the goggles weren't meant to keep Nina's eyesight perfect while in the mist, but rather to serve as a backup scouter sense he figured it would be quite rude to blatantly pull out his actual scouter device and start scanning things. For now, he would have Nina scan the mist while absorbing what she could of the altering energy from around him, seeing if she could find anything of use from the surrounding energy. With that taken care of for the moment, Lex would put his full attention back to the earthly angel and respond to her question of what he was exactly doing at her humble abode. "You can say that. Your invitation intrigued me; I must admit, some needed guidance is why I'm here. I'm sorry that I have no specific details on what it is, frankly, I'm not sure myself. But if what you're saying is true, you're probably the best person to help me with my... alignment." he said, crossing his arms with a hum of annoyance at his loss of words. It wasn't like him to not know what he exactly needed. And in this case, things on a whim was not to his liking. He liked goals, knowing what to strive for, what he required and how to obtain them. He wasn't a bad guy, but he knew he needed something... something to keep him from being cruel and ruthless, like his predecessors.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: Hammer & Funabashi - Song: A.M. Arise - Word Count: 1265

Well, at least the guy was still snickering and smiling, right? If Cirno could at least do that, then perhaps she was steadily making progress in trying to soothe his spirit. Although, when Lex appeared to bow before The Angel of The Ice, she could only wave her hands to otherwise protest that gesture. The reason for it is because she felt it was a bit too over the top. It caused her to gush and blush a bit due to the fact that The Snow Child didn't believe that her being was worth bowing to. That, and perhaps, she didn't want to let it get to her head to.

"Hehehe, well, Mr.Lex, I feel pretty flattered. There is no need to bow, though. We are all equals up here in my little home!"

Still clinging to that youthful happiness, a beaming smile as bright as the snow itself seemed to glow across the face of Cirno. It did seem as if she was still having the time of her life meeting all of these new people and indulging in such new experiences with others. However, even beside all that, The Iramasha still couldn't help but feel something was off with the male. There was a sense of stiffness in his spiritual aura that she could feel and there was still an urge within to want to soothe that.

So, as her energy was being analyzed and absorbed by the pair, this connection to that emotion and desire would resonate within the particles of power which spread through the mist they all bathed in. For what was spreading over them was not anything with malicious or devious in intent, but rather, a gift from the heavens. This fog was being generated from the spirit of Cirno and the priorities around it seemed to be supernatural in origin.

Since, as they would probe further into this prowess, they would discover that the qualities of this vapor were only meant to heal and expand the bodies and minds of those whom inhale or come into contact with it's substance. For this reason is why it also did not have much to hide and why it seemed to have a readiness to be explored by the two. As, each of them would find the energy yearning to pull them in closer so that the pair may understand that it is alright to ease their guard and relax.

For, if nothing else, this was a byproduct of Cirno's abnormal will. And, from this will, there was a strong ambition to want to ease the pains that the world may inflicted upon the spirits whom inhabit it. So, as Lex and Nina would absorb and synchronize themselves with this energy, the duo would find themselves becoming aware of this stance from Cirno's mind and feel the bond with the child's intentions. Which, by that point, the two should realize one thing: she only means well.

Which is why when the ball of fluff known as Nina started to react so sheepishly to The Angel, Cirno then decided to poke it further, pat it's head and giggle to show that she didn't mean any harm. Yeah, the girl had a high volume of power resting within her, but that didn't mean she couldn't use it for good, right? Hopefully, Nina would come to understand that. That is what Cirno hoped for, anyway.

"Your presence feels pretty small to me, Mrs.Fluff Ball. Sorry, sorry. I've still got my super-aura-sense on! Erm, I mean, I think I was viewing your energy and not your physical forms. Yeah, Angel's can do that, hehe."

The voice of Cirno came off as lively and energized as ever. Since, towards the end, she was as assured as ever in her abilities. She just wasn't too sure that if she explained her astral sense right. It might come off as a bit creepy to them, but why would it? This was a world of spiritual power, and sometimes you needed to have the right pair of lenses to see that vibrant reality. At least, that was the logic behind Cirno's thought process. Probably wouldn't make much sense to others, though.

At any rate, The Snow Child would then begin to notice that Lex was beginning to grab his goggles and placed them on his puffy little companion. Huh. She didn't think of it as head to see as she was pretty used to the climate. Add to the fact her senses were always heightened and Cirno felt she really needed to take a trip back down to the earthly plane again. Not everyone really had these extrasensory prowess, so she needed to remind herself of that and explain the situation promptly as a result of that.

"Welllll, that mist? Yeaaaaah, I actually did that, Mr.Lex! The Mist is my energy and I use it to help those who come to my home. It's suppose to be a blessing that allows me to comfort every soul that comes to my place! Isn't that cool?"]

...

Mhm, her upbeat demeanor was still very high. But, it was that last sentence that really stood out. For a moment, she would squint her eyes and then realize that god awful and unintentional pun she made.

"Isn't that....cool?"

She'd almost face palm herself because of the fact her powers were based around ice and she made that lame joke! PFFT.

Obviously she needed to hurry up and turn this conversation around before the male noticed that slip-up.

SO, she would then pay keen attention to the fact that her invitation seemed to hold a great interest to the male. From what she could gauge of his dialogue, the man was definitely lost, but there was something inside of him that pushed Lex towards the light. Therefore, with that much obvious, it was up to her to help him find that source of good within him and assist with making him realize what his heart desired.

"Mr.Lex, you are silly. You don't need any hard details to come to me. Your super awesome actions did that for you."

With a hop, skip and a jump; Cirno bridged the gap between them and poked his chest as she smiled.

"I think your alignment is in a state of lost-ness, but your hearty-heart is open to becoming a hero."

Letting off another happy giggle, she would then retract her index finger and point directly at Lex with a grin

"So, tell me Mr.Lex, don't you agree that you should make it a goal to try and see if the path of good is for? If you don't know what you want for yourself, you should strive to help others and find new purpose in the way you help people out. That is why I became a heroine, and why I think you should become a hero to!"

Now with her explanations out in the air, it was up to Lex to make sense of that what he would. The question was: could the male see himself in this role? Or -- would he decline it? Only mother time knew that answer. But, when that moment came, Cirno would give him the utmost of her attention undoubtedly.

It seemed that the small woman had no problems telling him what the fog was about and what it did, explaining to the two about its purpose and what it did for those who absorbed it into them. This confirmed the readings that the pair of blue tinted goggles displayed on the left lens as well as what Nina was feeling from taking in the energy herself. 'Master, it says that the mist is pooling from her and has a sort of effect that relaxes and soothes anyone affected. I can also testify this, ever since I absorbed it, it's been having a positive influence of my state of mind and body reactions. However master, this does remind me of a particular genjutsu that you went against earlier that purposefully put the affected at ease just so the opponent can attack them at blinding speed, almost killing them instantly for not being ready to counter-strike. I heavily advise that you let me analyze this supernatural energy for a bit longer before I make a final synopsis,in case she tries some form of sneak attack on you as part of a training regiment or some sort of test.' she relayed to him in thought. 'Understood, will continue to be on alert until further advised.' was his response in his mind, the aviator having no intentions to absorb the energy just yet.

What he was sure of was that this person was powerful. From the start, he could feel her spiritual pressure, and as odd as that was considering he had not trained himself to sense other presences whatsoever, he could certainly feel it from the tiny bit of vapor energy he did end up absorbing. After all, it was her own essence and not meant to hide her feelings nor intentions, only confirmed more by her words of feeling their spiritual presence as rather small. Nina didn't know what to make of this, since she was simply a creature of the forest that were bred to be shinobi summons in her lands over half a millennium ago. Yet, the only thing she knew about this 'spirit' related stuff was that more and more people seemed to be roaming the earth that seemed super powerful in this regard, with spiritual pressure. The vixen did nothing but duck and skip over to Lex's left and right shoulder accordingly each time the woman poked her more than once. It was just in her nature to be evasive, as Lex had taught her so many years ago to do when someone else beside himself tried to approach her. That was a bit difficult to uphold however since the Lex she knew had been gone for over five hundred years, so a little contact now and again from another living being was a good feeling, just not all the poking!

Lex on the other hand showed less reaction to the girl approaching him and poking his chest, but it was still surprising all the same to see her bubbly attitude and demeanor. As she mentioned about what he could possibly do from this point on, he gave it a thought on what his current goals were and what he wanted to achieve afterwards. "Hmmm..." came a low hum from the man as he curled his hand around his chin, pondering on the subject as he imagined that it was best to figure out what he was going to do from this point forward. First thing was first, he needed to get all of his equipment that had been scattered across the globe; quite frankly he didn't trust anybody with such devastating weapons to keep themselves in check. Second was his side objectives to gather any artifacts that his predecessors had left behind on Earth, which was probably about four or five more around the globe as of this moment. The third thing... this is what was open for experimentation for the most part. After finding all of that stuff, what was he to do with it? A part of him wanted to continue with his original plan to go back even further in time, during the late sixteen hundreds where he could live out a simple life and interact with people, probably get married to a simple woman, and then die a simple death.

But after seeing Nozomi in Eldrazi, another part of him wanted to stay, to perhaps help these people from tyranny in case it was to ever come up. It wasn't like he considered his old 'associate' to be a tyrant, but he had to admit, both Nozomi and himself had experienced a time of blood and hate, honor for their nation and deep seeded hatred for families and clans. He was sure that she didn't change much even after all of those years, the recent news of her invasion of the bordering country beside her capital was confirming this all the more despite her message of peace and harmony for all. Her idea of peace was liberation, integration, conversion; the same as his used to be for so many of his lifetimes.

That thought scared him, because he knew that if he wasn't attempting to solidify his desire to help others the right way, he would most likely be either assisting her, trying to partner with her, or kill her, neither one he wanted to do. Nozomi was the world's problem until it knocked on his doorstep; that's how he decided to see it for now. His thoughts then went to countless of others he had saved, and even killed, in his past lives, wondering what true affect he had on people during the course of his lives. Quite frankly, it was too much deep thinking going on for Cirno's somewhat simple question, did he want to help people or not? He always did before, what would be the problem if he was to do it now? Then that sudden image of the tan woman with blue eyes faded into his mind again, making the man narrow his eyes with a bit of anger as he remembered the cost for helping society most of the time. How most of the organizations that he had joined or even was forced to be a part of to help people only hurt him in the end, by hurting those very close to him almost every lifetime.

While Lex was pondering on his choice, Nina could feel the hostility rising in her master, his distaste for people in general and even see the image of Nozomi during their meeting in Eldrazi and another image of that particular young woman who Lex was married to multiple times. The vixen wasn't usually one to make decisions on her own while Lex was around, especially on a whim, but she knew this was about to go downhill very fast and she couldn't afford for Lex to miss out on an opportunity like this to truly clear his mind and be tranquil with life. 'I'm sorry master, forgive me.' she said rather bluntly. The reason for this was pouring into Lex at that very moment; Cirno's energy. Lex could immediately feel his hostility flowing out of him as his memories of being double-crossed and backstabbed by the people he tried to always help most began fading away, almost instantly. The dark skinned man quickly glared at the vixen on his shoulder as he knew what was going on right away. "Nina! What are you doing?!" he almost seethed. This would have probably seemed slightly odd, nothing being said between the two companions the entire time before Lex seemed to just snap at her in such a way. But the creature wasn't worried, not responding to him by voice as she just slowly glanced at him, her blue eyes staring into his as she swished her tail back and forth in a somewhat hypnotic way.

'You will thank me later.'

And with that, Lex's demeanor would finally start to shift, the cautious and apprehensive attitude of the man becoming more relaxed and calm as his thoughts of his own form of justice began fading away from his mind. He turned from Nina and looked over towards Cirno again, his eyes far more trusting than before as he felt her energy flowing through him steadily now. "I believe I will take you up on that offer. I will help others, as I have done before, but I need to be even more skilled than I was, more aware... that what I was. Teach me whatever is necessary about this world, and I'll do what I can to protect the innocent." he exclaimed, his arms crossing over his chest after his remark. It was decided, he would be the people's protector once again, but this time, maybe with some intuition on what was going on around this place, he would be able to do even more than that.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: Toby Fox - Song: Toriel Theme - Word Count: 1545

From what Cirno was able to perceive from their linked souls, there were many twinges of hostility spiraling around within the heart of Lex. These appeared to take their root within many factors which spread throughout his essence. There was an ambition to seek what was lost and find what was power. It was a grand sort of journey, and one that perhaps The Celestial herself could assist with if he was so willing to accept her assistance.

Though, further beyond that desire was a potential for heroism, good and light to arise within his soul. For, after he'd prevent the forces of evil within this world from attaining his ambitions, the male's spirit wasn't quite as assured as to what he would do after his aspirations were achieved. Doubts of which path to follow were surely creeping into his soul, but it still had the promise to lean towards the side of moral and virtuous aura.

Indeed, it was battered, rammed and fractured by the impulse of negative emotions which brewed within him. Feelings which were rooted in the fact that there was quite possibly an event which caused the male to become apprehensive, un-trusting and paranoid of the world around him based on the notion that he was back stabbed, betrayed and his faith in goodwill broken.

However, even with that, there was always the chance for such a faith to be restored with enough care, affection and belief that there is more to the world than mistrust, villainy and foul spirits. It was quite true that, even with the guidance of Cirno's angelic hand pushing him towards the light, Lex may still very well come to find souls which will take his heart for granted. In fact, The Celestial could not even so much as guarantee that the future for him would be secured if he took her hand.

Yet, that is what it meant to have faith in this existence they lived in. It was to believe and have hope, optimism and promise in a future which did not seem bright, joyous or quite positive. For, to become a beacon of light in the shadows, one must generate the tender desire within their heart and use it as a flame to guide not only themselves through the darkness, but to those whom would wish to find themselves out of the night of despair as well.

That is why The Angel offered her assistance to the human because she wished to use her light in such a way to bring Lex from the inner most depths of his mind's darkness, and help him to realize that he still could be a better person in spite of the shortcomings of others. As, to her, there was little point allowing their negativity and attitudes to infect what was once a pure and innocent soul who wanted to do what was right for others and follow the path of light.

Ergo, with these sentiments of self explained through an astral bond and connection, The Celestial Of The Ice then yearned to infuse these beliefs into the mind of Lex while he was busy screaming at his companion for having the desire to have him open up to the angel.

With this immersion of consciousness, thought and feeling; the male could then begin to understand the intentions of Cirno and feel further trust in her purpose for wanting to bring the best in him out. In this way, he should hopefully feel there is no means to believe that she would ever betray or back-stab him so long as he stayed the path of righteousness, justice and light.

So, as he would start to calm and find himself at ease, this position that Cirno placed herself in would further become revealed as she opened up her soul to him as well. By turning his eyes to the sight of The Angel, he would then begin to notice that something had changed while they were both influenced by such heavy astral thought. Her body -- had morphed.

Instead of being a child, a full figured adult was before him. As her overflowing hair gently brushed against the breeze, the ocean eyes of the celestial would open up and a placid smile washed over her now matured face. Just what was this form? Simple: her true essence. Instead of hiding behind the veil of a youth, The Iramasha decided he was open enough to her that she would unveil such a state of being to him.

For, the form of a minor was indeed filled with unbound innocence, nativity and hope for the world. It is what allowed The Angel of the light to retain and possess her intense emotion, feeling and light within. As, prior to this quest, nay, life venture she journeyed upon -- it was rough to do such a thing. This is because her developed form could not quite comprehend, cope or in anyway shape or form deal with the reality of the world around her.

Therefore, she sought to hide from that responsibility and grown state of being by suppressing it and hiding in the guise of a child. And, from this regression, she sought to prolong the flame of her light from dimming for as long as possible to prevent it from being taken away by the daunting task of becoming older.

Yet, with the acceptance of other flares of light into her life, Cirno discovered that it was ok to possess the heart of the child, but maintain the mind of an adult for the benefit of a higher power and purpose. This kindness, openness and sensitivity was what the world needed and she wished to share that with the miracles her divinity possessed.

Thus, as Lex accepted her offer into the light, that smile of the celestial would only grow more vibrant as her embodiment was quite pleased he embraced this opportunity to make himself a better person. To have the potential to save yet another soul was what made the heart of Cirno scream with joy and pleasure because it fulfilled her angelic essence. The further she stayed true towards her task of guiding spirits towards the light and investing meaning into their lives, the greater the sensation of happiness, completion and warm power surged and overflowed within the core of Cirno.

Hence, to seek more of this wholeness out, The Angel of The Ice would then give a nod of the head as she began to materialize the vessel of faith within Lex. As, with her having access to the enriched intent of his spirit and mind, the celestial she then able to craft a small sphere of light filled energy from it. Within moments it started to contort, shift and take shape in the form of a cube. Then, as it adjusted further, it separated itself into many different pieces so that the formation of numerous silver gems could levitate in a single fixated position.

[CLICK HERE FOR THE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THAT WAS MADE FROM HER GEM-MAS EVENT:

With this tool? Lex would undoubtedly be able to find the ability to trust, be open and find his inner light again by bridging his heart and mind to others. If they were to bare his soul to him in the way that Cirno did to hers, then he'd certainly find the capacity to become a better person! That was the belief Cirno had and why she bestowed this piece of angelic wonder upon him.

Thus, on her command, this holy object would then levitate towards the chest of Lex and she'd let it hover before uttering these words of enchantment to him:

"If you do vow to take the oath of light, then please accept this gift and make your declaration known, human."

The voice of the Iramasha seemed filled with soft delight as her smile eased over in the hopes that he would accept this embrace into his body. For, if he were to accept, then the runes of knowledge within it would activate and begin sharing the knowledge that Cirno possessed of the world with him. Everything from how the societies of the earth were ran, how the means of combat functioned in this world and the current state of affairs in the Soul Society, Iramashsa Island, Earth, Hueco Mundo and even charts of Demon World itself would all become known to him.

This was all done so that he may have the knowledge to make an informed choice and understand the need for why his powers are required in this world. Thus, all that was left to do for Cirno was observe and see how these changes might influence The Glitch Prophet. With faith in her heart, and optimism on her mind, there was not a single bit of doubt in this moment that he would use these blessing to do the right thing. So, The Angel would simply rest her hands at her sides -- and wait for a response.

The shift in the angel's appearance was incredible, not expecting someone to be able to change from child to adult at a moment's notice like that. Of course, despite Lex's initial shock, he wasn't entirely surprised, thinking of Cirno at this point as a legitimate angel, so he was sure that she was able to do all kinds of things that seemed far fetched and almost impossible to do. It wasn't that difficult for Cirno to enter into Lex's conscious at this state, successfully reading his thoughts about what he perceived to be the world around him now compared to what it used to be from his previous counterparts. However, this was a dangerous move for Cirno, a bit too ambitious for the angelic figure as the both of them were suddenly thrown into a sort of web of broken visions.

----------

"Look guys, you're not going to stop me, Gargoyle has to die by my hands and that's just how it's going to be." the teenage boy said to the three bandits as he adjusted his jacket before checking his forty-five caliber revolver for its ammunition again, preparing for departure from the submarine that they were on board of. He admired the three to be honest, Grandis, Sanson, and Hanson were very resourceful and didn't mind getting dirty, that's what made him join her gang in the first place. But he couldn't let this slide, Gargoyle had to pay; he had to get what was coming to him.

"How typical of a child, acting all bravado and claiming things that can't possibly happen. You are a skilled artist with a firearm, especially for your age, I'll give you that Lex, but do not confuse prowess on the battlefield for wisdom. If you are not aware that Gargoyle and his army could crush you in an instant, then you're more naive than I believed you to be." came the retort of the impeccably dressed man before he scoffed and crossed his arms. Lex gritted his teeth as the words of the marksman droned in his ears, clenching his own hat in his hand before he almost yanked it off of his head to show his facial expression clearly, wanting Sanson to see just how serious he was. He had to show him, if his mentor was going to take him seriously anyway.

"I'm not a child Sanson! I know the risks, and so does Captain Nemo and his crew. You don't see them falling back from their mission to take Gargoyle down, I don't plan on doing so either. I have to get Nadia back at all costs." he shouted before turning on his heels and heading for the exit of the cabin and then to the bridge. Sanson gave a low sigh as he lowered his fedora forward a bit, hiding his eyes before he responded. "Lex... you do know that saving Nadia won't resurrect Latoya... she's dead and she's not coming back." he exclaimed lowly. This stopped the young troublemaker in his tracks, slowly turning his head to glance back at Sanson to see him hiding his eyes behind his fedora.

"Sanson, you're being too brash on the boy." Grandis warned, giving a bit of a warning glare at her right hand man. "Lex needs to hear this mum, he's been too hellbent on revenge as of late and I like him, I don't want to see him fall at the hands of a madman such as Gargoyle or the Atlanteans." he told her before facing Lex again. "Lex, if you walk out of here, do know that we can't help you. No Captain Nemo, no Jean, no Nautilus crew, no Grandis gang, you'll be on your own." he mentioned, the other two beside him remaining silent as they waited for Lex's answer. The sapphire eyes of the oak skinned teenager narrowed in distrust as he realized that Nadia might most likely die if he didn't do something right away. "So be it." he said roughly before turning forward again and walking towards the exit of the submarine.

--------------

The young man peered out from behind the curtain to see the troubled expressions of the crowd in front of the podium, noticing that they were rather concerned with the events that took place as of late. He couldn't believe that they had called this meeting to 'figure out' if they wanted him off the council or not. The city wouldn't even still be here to have this conference if it wasn't for him! The nerve of the community boiled his blood so much that he just couldn't wait for the announcer to call him out to present himself, simply walking out from behind the burgundy curtain as he grunted in displeasure at their accusing words. "S-sir! You have to wait until you're called!" the secretary shouted.

But she would be ignored, as the navy and silver cladded man made his appearance on stage. "There he is! That conniving bastard almost caused martial law on this city!" came one of the shouts. "What is this? You can't just put missile launcher installments on the border of this city! We're not a military sovereign state Lex, as much as you want it to be!" another one yelled out, followed by more outcries and angry shouts. The man would stand in silence as he gave a glowering stare towards the large crowd that had amassed in front of the stage in the park. He wouldn't stand for this, the secretary handing him a bullhorn for him to attempt speaking over their shouts, but he nicely declined, shaking his head as he watched her approach.

He would suddenly press a button on his wristband device, causing a very loud blaring noise to fill the park, causing every person to clamp their hands on their ears as they winced and yelped out in pain. Now that they were quiet, he was going to give them a piece of his mind. "Who do you think protects you?! Huh?! Do you think law enforcement resources grow out of nowhere? Do you think the rise in education resources came from the sky?! There were people who of course didn't want these changes, but I made them happen, just like I promised. Of course we were going to get a backlash from it. But you question me, ME?! I did nothing but sacrifice for you people! I gave my own personal funds to help the city prosper after what it went through, and now you want to get rid of me! That's a mistake you're going to regret... I will make sure of that." he remarked in a venomous manner.

Suddenly multiple individuals began to 'form' out of thin air, their camouflage deactivating as they appeared in a circle formation around the humongous crowd and over ten more on the stage Lex was occupying, rifles pointed towards the unarmed citizens. "Get rid of them..." the man ordered before placing his hands behind his back, just watching as he heard the crackle of gunfire ring out into the air while he watched the entire event, not turning away for a moment to see just how bad of a predicament they put themselves in.

----------

The ash gray anthropomorphic fox looked over the bruised and battered feline, seeing that she was barely alive as she gave shuddering breaths to keep herself clinging on to dear life. He was trying desperately to clean her wounds, noticing that she was bleeding profusely and would probably be unconscious within less than half an hour and most likely would go downhill from there. "Come on Pyra, just hang in there, you're tougher than this." he teased nervously, ripping at the woman's skin-tight outfit to get to the upper half of her body, seeing the several shards of metal jutting out from her chest and abdomen. It was certainly a bloody mess, red mixed in with the graphite fur of his lover, his best friend as he could see her literally dying in front of him. She coughed violently as she weakly glanced in his direction, a slight frown on her face as she saw her cunning but foolish husband attempt from panicking as much as he could while removing the shrapnel from her flesh.

"Leave it... to you Lex... to still be a... jerk in this situ...ation. Can't you see... I'm-" she began, but then started coughing violently, blood dribbling from her mouth before gasping for breath. The vulpine's blue eyes erratically bounced over the feline's body as he gripped onto her shoulders firmly, trying to get her attention. "Pyra, stop talking ok? I need you to stay with me." he ordered as he yanked out one of the biggest pieces jutting from her body, a slicing of metal against flesh immediately echoing throughout the room that was littered with many more bodies. Pyra tensed up as her hand shot out and clutched onto Lex's bicep as hard as it could, a sharp whimper coming from the woman as a few tears formed as well from the extreme pain that shot through her. "J-just get it over with Lex." she huffed, her breathing becoming more erratic as her eyes darted around almost aimlessly at this point. She was falling into shock and he knew it, the feel of her heartbeat becoming slower against his palm as he kept applying pressure on the biggest wound near her chest.

He had never been so scared in his life, realizing just how close to death she was, that her life could be extinguished at a moment's notice, at any time with the state she was in. He couldn't have that; she was all he had, she was all he cared about. Suddenly the sound of a girl's laughter began to echo in his ears, causing him to stop abruptly before ever so slowly turning his head behind him. He knew that sound; he knew that voice. What he saw was indeed what he had feared, the image of the red and white husky girl with a torn and bloody baby blue dress, her infamous psychotic grin plastered on her face as her blue eyes pierced into his own. "Don't worry Lex... God will forgive you." he could hear her voice echo in his mind again. She wasn't moving her lips, but her words were clear, and they were deadly. Pyra was going to have her soul absorbed if Lex didn't do something in the next few seconds.

----------

Suddenly the image of the same reoccurring woman would appear right after, caramel skin, sapphire eyes, petite body and hair that didn't go past her neck, but put in its usual eastern-like design. The details of her body eluded Lex for a moment, as the wry smirk that seemed directed at the supposed onlookers was his immediate concern. There were obvious things that were different about her however, a hole in the woman's chest for starters, but there was also the many bone fragments that were decorated on various parts of her body. A shoulder pad made of skeletal components, a bone armor plate seeming to be placed over her chest, or was her chest, it was hard to discern with the lighting that the vision was giving them all. "Lex... you? A good guy?" she began, an echoing chuckle following suit as she placed a hand over her mouth as if to stifle it. "We both know better, don't we? Don't drag this girl down with you too, you've already gotten me killed, don't get her killed too, my darling." she said before giving a sinister laugh, growing louder and louder with each passing second before the visions began to fade entirely.

----------

Lex and Nina would be left a mess, bewildered looks on both of their faces as the vixen glanced over at her superior, her master. Was that why he kept seeing her as of late? Was Lex the cause of her death? Why was she still alive then? And why did it seem like a part of her body was jutting out bones of some sort? These questions the vixen asked herself paled in comparison to the millions of thoughts darting in Lex's mind right about now, remembering all of the visions that involved the woman from separate lifetimes. He had to escape it, if not that, at least keep his mind from breaking from the sudden bombardment of negativity that hit him like a train. Before he even realized it, the man would grab for the assortment of cubed gems, attaining the information that she was willing to share with him pertaining to the world and how most of it worked.

It was then that Lex realized something, both about the bizarre visions that plagued the three of them and about the situation at hand now. Pyra was now an Espada, one of the strongest classifications of Hollows in the world. So it was true; she truly was dead. Lex inhaled deeply before giving a long exhale, trying to recompose himself back to his stoic and analyzing nature. "Cirno, I accept this way, the right way. I must keep others from falling onto the path that I have previously taken." he agreed finally, his eyes falling upon the floating collection of gems that created the cubed formation. If she truly had access to his mind, Cirno could see that he was quite serious about this, wanting to help others keep themselves from reaching darkness. However, she would also be able to see that a new goal had formed ever since he had seen the visions, and if she did, he was sure that they would already be at qualms about it. The moment that he had enough equipment in his possession, he would go to Hueco Mundo, find Pyra, and destroy her.

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

Artist: Studio Killers - Song: Who Is In Your Heart - Word Count: n/a

There was a heavy amount of feeling to digest and absorb from the visions The Angel Of The Ice extracted from the mind of Lex Prailius. Memories of death and lost were never easy for any spirit to cope with if they possessed any sort of bond to those whom have become deceased. Henceforth, it was of no surprise to her that such recollections of the past had made the mind, body and spirit of The Glitched Prophet filled with regret, sorrow and negativity.

Though, at least now, she could begin to understand what was going on with the male. All she needed to do was extract this form of metaphysical pain and utilize her most holy blessings to turn this pain into a curse. As everything in this world that serves to hurt and injure a person can be used, in the inverse, to help better and improve them as well. Since, as the saying goes: "whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." In the case of Cirno's Aether Magic, this sentiment rings true.

While there was a heavy amount of grief and anguish held in the past of Lex, this pain could be used as a catalyst to finish the materialization of his Faith Stone. Additionally, once Cirno or Lex himself was able to bring the male back from the brink of despair and allow for him to move on from this death, the second phase of their training could begin to form. Since, from the particles of Aether Energy associated with her power, The Celestial could begin to infuse and imprint a holy seal of sorts within the male. This seal would record, analyze and observe the thought patterns, emotions and developments of the male.

Should he find a way to move past his grief? Then this seal's protocols would be unlocked and he'd be able to attain a new sense of power from it. It could come in the form of a potential boost in the quantity and quality of his energy, a new ability learned or a new form mastered. The sky was the limited and there was no telling what could occur if this spiritual healing and evolution were to take place.

However, if Lex were unable to resolve this issue of his past? Then the seal would have no effect and he would see no advancement in himself; whether that be physical, mental or spiritual. As to be stunted and regressed to the shadows of ones history is to be sentenced to the purgatory of stagnation. Stagnation leads to decay, and decay leads to death. Even if the male was healthy, Cirno could see nothing but a future of demise and ruin if he were to allow to the seeds of negativity to flourish and grow within himself. Hence, it was her self-perceived duty as an Angel to help destroy these weeds and give him a more stable foundation to evolve himself on.

Ergo, The Celestial would soon begin to walk over to Lex and embraced him within a warm hug. Why did she take this simple action? It was because she wanted to hold him and express that it was okay to feel these emotions. It was okay to feel confusion. It was okay to feel hurt. And it was more than okay to feel a little more than fucked up about the situation. She wanted him to embrace that, but at the same time her intention was to allow him to move past it and not allow it to dictate his future.

Therefore, The Celestial of The Ice would gaze into the male's eye and cusp the right side of his cheek with her palm. In giving him the sensation of touch, The Angel expected to distract his thoughts and have him focus solely on her as she uttered these words to him and injected her inner most mental thoughts into him. (Author Note: Everything written in my point of view of Cirno would be inserted into the awareness of Lex at this point so he can better understand where she is coming from)

"If nothing else, I'm happy that this day allowed you to understand that. It's an awful and terrible thing to be held in bondage by the death of another. I just want you to know that nothing you did was your fault. It's alright to feel these things, and I'm glad you are able to know that you can use this pain as a way to make a better future for yourself. I sincerely believe you will make a great hero because of this. It is why I welcome you with open arms to The Guild of Heores and bestow your Heroic Gem upon you, Lex."

And with that, she would ease her embrace, look back at the male and would ask one simple question before proceeding:

"Now, tell me: how do you feel?"
