Barkion's Slaughter [Advocate Mini-event Series]
Mon Dec 14, 2015 1:05 pm
B A R K I O N
Above Sal Salvador, one of the capitals struck between North and South America, a new disturbance began to manifest in the sky above. A purple cut appeared in the red clouds, splitting the sky in two and releasing a dark, powerful aura upon the land. It occurred shortly after many other incidents of a similar nature took place across the Earth. The difference here was a matter of scale. The strength of the dark aura was much greater than any other rift before it. A vile strength closely resembling an entire invading force could be sensed in the core of the gateway. Minor traces of red could be seen in the center of the darkness, an approaching burning light getting closer in the void above. An unsettling growl was barely audible in the middle of it all, quietly echoing over the city. Whatever was coming was alive, maintaining immense power of its own accord the other Advocates could only do for a short period of time.
The light became almost blinding as it approached the end of its descent. It shot out of the portal like a bullet, quickly closing the gap between the sky and the ground below. It appeared like a meteor, a ball of flames around a mass of metal coming down with building force. It struck with the impact of an explosives, flames and kinetic waves spreading across the center of Sal Salvador. Glass broke in all buildings near by, weaker structures being broken down to rubble. People were knocked off their feet for miles, and those too close would find themselves ripped to shreds, or seriously wounded. The impact force was nothing like the Titan, but enough to cause some substantial damages around it. A large crater a few hundred feet in size surrounded the fallen object, steam rising out from the impact site.
While the damage was less severe, the difference was that there was something to follow up the first wave of destruction. An immensely powerful presence had entered the city, an air of bestial fury coursing through the air. Just as things began to settle, a loud wolf-like howl sounded from the center of it all. It was enough to deafen anyone too close and be heard for dozens of miles away. It was distorted from the common wolf's cry, empowered and corrupted by tainted energy and giving it a disturbing felling to any that heard it. The rift above began to close as quickly as it formed, cutting off the path to where the object had come from and leaving those in the city to attempt to deal with the unknown left behind.
The object had risen, leaping from the epicenter of the crater and landing on the cracked ground just outside the site of destruction. What was it? A creature of old folklore, modified and drenched in the energy of evil. It was a Lycanthope, a werewolf standing eight feet tall with claws as sharp as the most refined diamond, It carried every common characteristics known for the tale, canine ears raised high and a bloodthirsty look in its yellow gaze. Unlike common tales though, the beast was adorned in a full-body suit of metal armor. The material was dense, but flexible, matching the beast's every move perfectly. Spikes protruded from the metal, giving it an even more menacing look. It ended where the claws began, only leaving a small opening around the eyes. None of the creature's flesh or fur was visible, making it almost appear mechanical.
The armor was a mix between red and silver at the moment,. It had heated up from the force of impact, making it burn red and release a constant flow of steam into the air as it cooled. As it did, more of the material appeared its proper color, a brilliant silver that reflected the light of the setting sun. A full moon was vaguely visible in the background as the day turned to night and the final pieces of it all came to be. Around the Lycan's neck was an odd trinket, a necklace with a statue that resembled the face of a wolf. It appeared to be made of gold, the details refined perfectly, even to the point of being unnaturally on point. It clung to the beast's neck through a thick wire-like material with multiple coatings of dense spiritual material for extra reinforcement.
Most of the citizens in the city were frightened, both from the destruction and the dark presence and appearance the creature took. The Werewolf-like entity could smell the disdain in the air, its eyes slowly shifting from one side of the capital to another. It stood in place, poised to attack, but not moving quite yet. It was as if the creature was waiting for something. As it was, the entity was confused more than anything,. Though having limited intellect, the creature was designed to protect a single soul. Without one being assigned, it left it with a mixed directive that couldn't be fulfilled or failed. Its instincts were conflicting, but the slightest sign of movement or an approaching entity would spring it into action. So began the calm before the storm.

ENTER WHTIE-EYE
Where one evil emerged, another followed, though in different manner. White, as the Archduke of the First Circle, had access to most of all information, that had taken place through the globe even before other other Archdukes. It was because the First Circle were those deployed at start of battles and because so, their leader needed to be first to learn the information about the situation.
It had led to the situation where White arrived around the same time the metalic wolf fell from the sky. Stepping out from a black, square portal with blood red corners, White Eye entered the city territory. Viewing the scene with his red, lifeless pupils and holding a calm and collected smile, it was hard to think what was happening in the young males mind.
In truth, like few times before, the boy had something of a vision. Hint on what the future events will hold. They are never clear, but also always come in louder voices then what usually torture his mind. The thought this time, which brought him here, was,
"He looks like a puppy, who could know how to fetch a heart or a head!" The boy was really interested in adorning the beast with red. Much red, but first he needed to know, if the dog knew how to be loyal.
And so, when exiting the portal, first, what was done, Eye released his Ksetra Pari over the destroyed section of the city. It went not only through walls and inside rooms of the half razed building, but also filled the electricity wires and other energy storage devices. In so, as his influence grew larger and larger, together with the power under the Visera Demonio control, White managed further his limits.
When Ksetra Pari went over the metalic wolf, as well, as all the innocent souls in the closest radius, the boy learned extended information, starting from the physical build-up of these beings, ending to how much they weight and how much pressure they put on the ground. What he learned about the beast, made his small eyes grow in wide surprise. It was...It was something new, something unseen. But what was the best, it could attract the male attention to the level, that Whites voices weren't nothing, but background.
In so, it wasn't a surprise, when those people, who survived the werewolf's landing suddenly started to scream, as their bones and flesh twisted in the red mist. Few moments later they were all compressed into tiny, red balls of destructive energy, their souls trapped. At this point, if anyone would enter the red mist, which covered most of the town, their heads at that second should start to hear voices and whispers, words without logic or sense. If the one in it would be weak willed, the voices could probably cause major issues, burdening their focus on the task at hand. Four, of the nine balls he gathered, shifted arrow shape, targeting the iron armored beast.
"Fetch!"
The red blood arrows were fired in record high speed at the beast, attempting to strike his huge body. Each arrow, if connected, would explode powerful enough to destroy five story building, so being able to at least scar the beast at the moment. Though that wasn't even his goal, as right after the balls would catch the creatures attention, the room where his Ksetra Pari had spread would become darker and shadows around longer. From the closest shadow on the dogs armor a shadow-like arm would sprout, trying to grab the amulet and pull it away in the black void from which the hand came. At the next moment it could be seen that one of Whites arms had disappeared in the shadows and rematerialized with the amulet in it.

Hizazel waisted not a single moment. He felt something vile coming from far off in the distance, very far, and after his encounter with that horde of demons he felt that he was obligated to stop this by himself, since he couldn't do that in Iceland. His body burst into bright red flames as a trail began to flow forward and into the sky, in the direction of the energy. He ran onto it and instantly gained tremendous speed as he raced towards the culprit of the wicked aura. His face hardened as he began to focus on the battle that was close at hand. His hazel eyes darting as his pupils contracted to form that of a snakes.
As he neared the sight you could see a streak of fire trailing through the sky. He lunged forward when he found a large wolf like creature standing in the middle of the street killing off everyone around him. The flames propelled him towards it as he began to create a ball of fire.
As he grew closer he was caught off guard by a plum of red mist like substance. As he landed he slid across the ground kicking up the mist that clung to the concrete beneath his feet. He stood there for a moment as he tried to figure out what it is he was in. He caught a glimpse of a man with odd white eyes.
Everything abruptly went black around him as whispers began to below from all directions. He looked around as he tried to pinpoint where they were coming from but he couldn't. It wasn't until the whispers began to appear right into his ear that he began to panic however. He began to frantically look around and he made small spheres of fire that began to float around him so that he could further see who was around him, but still there was nobody and voices still whispered both very near and far.
He began to breath rapidly as he took a few steps backwards. He didn't understand what was going on, he knew it had to be some sort of trick, but he couldn't focus or keep calm long enough to figure it out and break it. The darkness that he stood in seemed to move and reach, like arms. His body began to grow hotter and hotter as he fell deeper and deeper into a fear of the darkness that he was trapped in. He was more fearful however of whatever was in the darkness and the whispers that continued around him.

PREPARE TO EMBARK INTO LANDEN'S POST!
He grew up in Mid Western America when he was live, it was a sad life but never once before his death did he step foot in South America, but in death his spirit and his Zanpakutō took on a feeling like that's where he was from in life.
He took on many aspects of the south america rain forest in his attacks, his skin tanned like he was kissed by the sun all through out his life, as if he lived closer to the equator than he did. That was the reason why Landen was in El Salvador, and that was why he was now in a war zone.
When the sky opened up Landen had been down on a market street buying candy and enjoying the weather, humid and warm. A smile lay lazily on his face the entire time. When the sky turned red, the clouds taking on a deep pink hue Landen could feel Azai shudder in her sheath on his back. His dull blue eyes looked up as a deeply purple rift sheared through the skies above, opening a cut in reality.
His eyes turned from their normal dull blue to a lit up and rich sapphire just as they always did when he knew some big fight was going to happen. But he couldn't get to excited as a thought flashed into his mind, a thought of Malaysia and the horrible war there. It was that thought that forced him to do what he did next, people standing around and staring at the skies, unmoving as the rift enlarged. Forgive me... He inwardly begged everyone around him before he dawned his vizard mask and unleashed his spirit pressure, drawing Azai and slashing her through a vendor' stall and kicking another, making it crumble. The people unfocused on the rift and became aware of the enemy before them before they all ran screaming in fear, once done Landen released his mask and ran up a building to the roof to get a better look at the rift only to find an object falling from it, Thank God I scared them away.. He thought with sadness, not wanting to make people fear him but wanting them to be safe.
The object struck down roughly four blocks away and a wave of the impact hit him but didn't topple him, instead the wind flung his deep brown hair back, the long strands whipping wildly. He did feel a horrible pressure, an evil energy, wasting no time he ran forward leaping from roof to roof, dust high in the air. Once he got to the edge of the rubble, standing on the building closest to ground zero that hadn't collapsed he felt a second energy coming in, demonic....
He wasn't about to jump into a fight with two energies that out ranked him, both hell bent on death. He would fight either one if the odds weren't against him but they were with the two vs one, that was until the demon appeared, A red headed kid wearing all white steeping through a portal in the crater.
His hands moved while people screamed buried under the rubble and they began to die, their life taken for them and the blood soaking upward and hovering around the man, turning into a scarlet mist. Tears appeared in Landen's eyes when he felt the lives of the innocent snuff out, but he couldn't move in yet, he knew if this got out of hand he would have to try and kill one if not both to protect countless others.
Right as he began to think of ways to fight the two the mist condensed into balls of red energy, the energy shooting outward to spear the other being in the pit, that Landen hadn't really noticed before now. What he saw made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, it appeard to be a man wolf hybrid, a werewolf, only coated in metallic armor, showing only its blood red eyes and claws. The armor wasn't stiff and bulky, it was like liquid over its skin but there was no doubt it was strong metal.
Around the beast's neck was a pendent shaped like a wolf's head and almost dripping spiritual energy. His eyes narrowed when he noticed it, taking a mental note before he noticed a third energy signature racing forward, a being of flame almost that rocketed toward the large hybrid monster until it entered the red mist. He stopped in his tracks and looking around as if he were being tormented, in what appeared to be a panic the flaming being lit floating torches.
An ally it seems, one that already needs rescuing He thought before vanishing and appearing inside the mist, feeling energy course through out it, feeling something try to pressure itself down onto him but his strong will power forced it out while he focused on the man who was being assaulted. His right hand landed on the man's shoulder and he poured out his spirit pressure, transferring his energy onto the man to break the curse.
" I need you to keep your calm and follow me, if you want to stop this killing we need to regroup and think of a plan, for now it's distracted with a demon that would give me a tough fight. " his eyes were staring hard at the man's own snake eyes before he pointed to the building he had been perched on before vanishing and reappearing back on top of it gesturing for him to follow while he turned back to the fight between the two below.

B A R K I O N
The Lycanthope's instincts kicked in as souls began to appear, moving closer, each taking their own action for their own purposes. If not for there being so many the choice would be clear. The beast was prepared to pounce on the first thing it saw move and send that life form to oblivion. With the debut of a burning fire of a man, a demonic essence in the distance, and some third soul not far behind, the creature stayed still only for a moment to take in all the information. While the Shinigami were closest, the only with power that was even the slightest bit threatening was the present visera. This notion was further confirmed by the crimson mist that formed around it and th secondary dark power that dared to challenge it. This simply incited the beast's wrath even further. It took in a long breath, voracious eyes locked on its first prey; the colorless eye of Hell. For now the weaker souls would be safe from its wrath, but only until the present danger to itself was subdued. For the time it was best they take advantage of the distraction to prepare for what they were up against.
A second howl echoed through the air, projected from the creature's maw. Its feet pressed against the ground, crushing it multiple feet downward from the immense pressure in preparation to move. Its keen senses were focused, picking up on every minor detail of the shifting environment around it. Explosive spheres forged from the souls of the deceased caught the creature's eyes, but only for a moment. It's hearing and extended vision picked up on the outlines of another creation manifested close to itself, reaching for the amulet strung around its neck. With a low growl, the wolf departed from the ground like a cannon shell. The earth was torn asunder by its immense strength, nearly causing small quake from the motion. In the nano-seconds of time before the shadow-like hand reached the corrupt amulet, the creature purposely barreled toward one of the unstable explosives. It aimed to grab the blast right out of the air and crush it between its diamond-sharp claws.
This wasn't to stop it, but purposely make it erupt. The blast erupted and consumed the wolf, shrouding it in light and destructive force in an effort to obliterate or sever the connection to the hand that reached for the amulet. Smoke and flames poured out around the creature, concealing it entirely in the devastation of the explosion and potentially wiping out any efforts to steal the amulet. Whatever it was, it was clear the beast wasn't very fond of it being taken. This was further supported by the rush that happened next. The creature leaped from the site of the explosion, clearing a path through the smoke at breath-taking speed. Its body seemed to blur from how fast it was moving, a clear sonic boom sounding behind it in a moment of acceleration that easily placed it above the speed of sound in a moment;s notice. The fiend's golden eyes locked on the hybrid, the distance between them vanishing in an instant.
Though taking a blast of immense power point-blank, the beast hardly seemed phased. The armor clad around it conducted the energy like a magnet, severing the majority of its power and enduring the remainder. A The armor was visibly scuffed, especially near the hand, but no where near the state one would expect. As some would soon find out, means of explosive force were hardly an effective tool against the monstrosity of an Advocate. Barkion struck without hesitation, its clawed hand slashed outward toward White-Eye with the utmost killer intent. The motion blurred from how fast it was going, nearly impossible for those not on the highest planes of reaction speed to properly follow. It intended to swipe clean across the Demon's body and strike them toward the ground with all the immense physical force at its disposal!
Not only was it fast, but the might behind that strike was devastatingly intense. It could easily rip a less durable in half, creating a vortex of kinetic energy that pulled anything close inward from the backward swing before the slash. Even afterwards the power behind it shined further. Were the the Lycan's first target to evade the attack, the force from it would continue onward. Three arcs of wind laced in kinetic energy from the claws would continue forward. ripping apart anything in front of the beast and continuing on for hundreds of meters before they diminished. The after-math of the claw's strength was enough to rip apart any surviving buildings that were in their path, slashing through stone like paper and even cutting clean through durable metals. If there was any mistake of the monster's might before, that would be cleared up now. It reacted on a dime's notice, able to soak up immense damage with ease and output insane amounts of kinetic trauma at the flick of a claw.
This wouldn't be a creature easily subdued.

As there has been some time since the last post, I'll be giving out warning in some Advocate threads to the next person in line. If no post is made by the end of Saturday, then the party next in line can be skipped. It can be debated by the others in the thread whether they are moved to a later point in the order, are subdued, or evacuated.

ENTER WHITE-EYE
This wasn't what he had expected at all. No, White knew dogs were good with tricks, but what he saw now surpassed every expectations. The armor clad wolf actually caught his blood arrow. Though, if the beast thought that it will block Whites vision, he had another thing coming. You see, while blind, the red pupils in the middle of the boys eyes allowed him to see. See energy, heat, cold, sound and such. He could look through walls, if desired, as well, as remove everything unnecessary from his vision. Additionally, the Ksetra Pari also gave the boy information about the werewolf's actions and movements. So, by just simply using energy vision, he had the needed extra second to step one feet back, so standing exactly next to the place where the beasts claws would land. And as they connected with the ground...There would be no impact. The reason for it would be that in the moment when the kinetic force should connect with the ground a small square portal opened, leading to some creatures head. In the same time the same portal opened above the wolf and all the destructive force should then land on him.
As this even transpired, without no difference if the dog avoided or not, White disappeared in a flash of shadows, just to appear almost instantly a lot further. By touching the ground with one of his hands the boy used yet another ball of blood and soul power to turn the whole battle field from ground and rubble to white, but transpired, liquid. In dept it was twice the wolf and, with the knowledge of how much force was put on the ground by the demonic creature, with almost no resistance, in so making it to sink instantly.
While sinking another ball was used just to suddenly harden the liquid into a force absorbing jelly. This material would stick to the thing like it was part of it, restraining its movements for few seconds, long enough for White again attempt in taking the amulet, using the darkness in which the beast was trapped.
If failed the second time, the Masked Demon finally desired to pay attention to the two spectators his Ksetra Pari picked up a moment ago. Shadows would once again swallow him, just to let the guy reappear behind the two on the building.
"Having fun you naughty Peepers!!?" Innocent, cheerful giggle escaped White Eyes lips.

Hizazel was overwhelmed by this ability. Though he knew it was fake he couldn't not feel as he did. He was lucky that someone had came to his aid though he would try to seem as though he hadn't needed it. As the man vanished and reappeared atop a building Hizazel followed suite and crawled his way to the roof. It was easy for him if easy was the simplest way to put it. Hizazel looked at the man as his mind began o focus on the sapphire eyes he held. Hizazel looked down below to see the wolf and for a split second a boy that the wolf seemed to be gunning for.
Hizazel jumped as the sound of the boy's voice rang behind him. He turned rapidly and clenched his teeth as he tightened the grips of his hands making large veined fists which began heat up. The enery the rolled off of this guy was vile and it didn't sit well with Hizazel in the slightest.

He had no time to deal with a man who would run from a battle. He wouldn't engage in conversation. Instead he would pull Azai out and unleash his Shikai, no point in fucking around in the vizard's mind. "Show them the Huntress!" He would order, the katana's blade growing six more inches and the mid section of the blade growing sharp teeth that would rip flesh to shreds upon contact. From the handle a long grey metal chain would appear, wrapping up around Landen's left arm, then his chest and back down his right arm to where a chakram would rest in his right hand, connected to the chain so it could be thrown and retrieved with ease.
This demon was an utter fool to have disengaged with the wolf beast and come give Landen's position away. He had no choice but to work beside this fucking joker and subdue this beast before innocents were harmed. He would flash step coming up on the battle field, vanishing from the roof top, his eyes focused on the beast before him he would yell. "You stay up there and provide me with long ranged kido and energy based attacks but so help me god if you use anymore blood magic I will let this thing loose on you and help it kill you." He ordered to the red headed demon, not taking his eyes off of the beast.
This was a fight he understood, an enraged animal that had blood lust from being provoked. Whatever had deposited it here had provoked it, had angered it and turned it loose. Landen was the same way, the panther provoked, the hunter of the jungles enraged. He understood the power and fury this creature held and knew he had no chance in a straight out battle with it, he would have to conserve energy and slowly unwind it until the beast was left panting.
He had no intention on destroying it, he merely wanted to tire it out but he could already sense the difference in energy and knew that would be a tall order. He couldn't afford to go masked state this early and risk losing it in a rough patch but at the same time if he was about to die he wouldn't have a choice.
Animals spoke though, not always in human tongue but they did speak and he would speak to it, his mouth opening and a panther's roar issuing forth, telling it to be at ease, telling it this fight wasn't needed but at the same time letting it know that it was not going to allow it to needlessly attack and kill innocents. That was the message his roar was sending out, if it was received or not would be seen rather shortly, his body taking a defensive stance, one that would allow him to dodge with speed and counter easily, his body would turn so that his sword arm pointed out at the being and his legs were in a line facing it, making his area to hit harder since he was making himself smaller in a sense.
