Words Between Blood

╔ Silent ╬ Screams ╗
"Congratulations on your fa- No... Wow! How many so f- No..." Came the words of a confused queen. Her figure moving back and forth within her room as she felt pain in her chest. Her head heavy, shoulders tense. Why couldn't she think of the right words? Her body moving back and forth within the confines of her own sleeping chambers. She wanted to be alone, to think. However, Solomon would not let such happen as he sat within the cushioned grasp of the young queen's armchair. His eyes watching his companion as she shuffled back and forth with thought and confusion. It was a new sight for him, to see her so worried, so disheveled. To see her so vulnerable. Why was this? What could make her so shaken and panicked. The only answer which could come into Solomon's mind was Aceldama. The young queen's beloved sister. The one being the queen has not worked so hard to appease. The queen stopped before a tall mirror, looking into it as she gave it a bright smile. Taking note of her expression, the queen could not help herself but to feel empty, fake. She could feel herself forcing the smile upon herself and could only sigh. Like that, the smile upon her face faded and she looked down at her hands before bringing them to cover her face. To think so much time had passed yet the girls had barely said a word. She had gone through so much to find her sister once more and once she did, they parted way almost instantly. Sidera feeling as though she would get her sister in more trouble. Now that they had been away for so long, Sagumi had taken Sidera's place. Or so she felt. Especially after they escaped from that alternate realm.
"You shouldn't stress yourself so much... What is wrong? What are you trying to find the words for?" Solomon finally spoke. His soft voice dancing through her ears, soothing her with his lower tones. A sigh escaping the woman's lips as she moved to turn around, her back to the mirror as she looked upon him once more. Her magenta gaze staring at him for a moment before looking down at her feet which barely showed themselves due to the long flowing gown she wore. To say the least, such attire drove the queen mad, however it was normal for the north. She couldn't bring her people together as one if she did not dress like her own. However, she also knew that she couldn't continue speaking of Together-hood and United People if she and her sister were not also united, like when they were kids. The memories flooding her mind kept Sidera captivated as she remembered the day their home fell. Rubble and debris had already hidden the two from one another, only to be guided back with the help of Sethos and Solomon. The two sisters, battered and dirty, sleeping in their new make shift shelter for the night as screams of pain and the sound of falling rubble remained as their lullaby. Such a fate were these two when they were young. Sidera wishing to never be apart again, yet that is exactly what happened to them. Torn from one another as children and soon again torn away by responsibility. What a cruel life that she ended up choosing this time around. None the less, she wished to make it right. Her eyes glancing at Solomon before adjusting to stand with a slight determination back in her eyes.
"I need to speak with my sister..." She said as she made her way quickly out of the room. Her being moving swiftly out the door and beginning her pursuit through the halls for her younger relative. The clicking of her hardened heels echoed as she passed many, asking to and fro if they had seen the blue-haired energy-case whom she called her loving sister. Her movements hastened as she was told her sister may had been preparing to leave the lands for a short while to adventure and do other things that she deemed needed to do. The woman's eyes showed slight panic as she broke into a light jog towards her sister's sleeping chambers. Stopping outside of her sister's door. Her body froze as she stared at door for a moment before biting her lip. What should she say? Slowly the thought came to her as she proceeded to knock. The delicate rhythm was upbeat but semi-urgent in sound."Acel? Do you want to play an old game?"

╔ Living ╬ Sensuality ╗Upon the opening of the door, Sidera's gaze remained fixed on her sister. Since the day they had both entered the alternate realm, Sidera hadn't actually spoken much to her sister. Last they saw one another was at a meeting which was some time ago. Thinking on it, now, the young pink queen realized how often she didn't see her sister. And if anything, it was hurting her. Bothering her. Making her churn in the pit of her stomach. A sigh leaving the woman's lips finally as she looked upon her sister with a light smile. It did take her a moment to regain herself but none the less, she did it. Her gaze shifting to the small bundle of life wrapped in her sister's arms, rather shocked that such a thing, not too long ago, was within your younger sibling. Her eyes fixated on the child as she watched her sister carry the young babe off to her guardian beast to play babysitter. It was odd to say the least. Her younger sister was able to find a mate. Someone she could bond to and with, able to relax and settle along side. And to say the very least, Sidera was jealous of such. However, she wasn't going to fret about such at the moment. Right now, all she wanted was to spend time with her younger sister. As she parted her lips to speak, the familiar ring of Acel's voice caught the woman's attention and caused her to give a shied smile.
"Game...? Game! Right! Do you remember the game we played as children...? It was known as Ohajiki. We got a bunch of pebbles and marked half of them and took turns hitting one stone with another. If they hit, we collected both, if you miss it's the other's turn. It was a simple game... Childish but certainly something... Refreshing." She said with a light smile to her sister before she noticed her sister seeing right through her. The reason why Sidera had arrived had, of course, been of importance, but it wasn't a matter which effected anyone besides her. A sigh left the pink haired woman as she glanced away from her baby sister. Softly, she bit her bottom lip as she tried to think more clearly for the small moment of time she was able to gain between her and her sister both seemingly pausing. She then bowed her head deeply, showing great respect to her sister before standing straight and stepping forward. Her hands reaching to grab the now empty hands of her dear sister before meeting her sister's gaze to speak.
"Aceldama... I know I've not been around... I know I've been a horrid sister and not taking care of you. I know I have not been here to support you as you've done for me for all these years... I know I said, when we got back together, that we'd never be separated again and yet I've gone off on adventure after adventure without you... Without you alongside me to experience with me... And I cannot apologize enough for such... I know my words are rather pointless at this point and that this is something I need to prove to you, but please Acel. Forgive your idiot of a big sis..." The woman spoke her entire thoughts then and there, letting every word of feeling dance from her lips without a hint of insecurity in what she was saying. Her normally chilled hands were warmed from the radiation of her Prolixi from her fingertips, wishing so badly to give her love to her younger sister and truly proving that she wished for the past back. To dance, travel and move alongside her sister as they used to. She wish to be her sister's protector once more. Most who would have known Sidera would not believe such a sight as the woman swallowed her pride to confess such to her younger sibling, but in her eyes it meant so much more that she would swallow her pride for this individual alone.
"I truly hope you believe me, Acel... I don't think I can express this enough... As much as it hurts to say... I just miss you." The woman said with a shaken sigh. Her bright magenta eyes looking into her sister's gaze of crazed blue. There was no other way to describe her expression besides being honest and remorseful. Slowly, the young queen's eyes falling shut again, waiting breathlessly for her sister's response before her lips parted once more."Can you forgive this panicked brat?"

╔ Dying ╬ Extrication ╗
After a moment, her sister finally spoke after Sidera's rant. The distance and coldness from her sister caused a trigger within the queen's mind as Deri seemed to break out into laughter. 'Goes to show you, Queeny! You've got no one but yourself and your beast!' The echoing sound of Deri's laughter within Sidera's mind caused her to tense before stepping back from her sister and letting herself stand still. Her magenta gaze, passed down from her mother, shifted onto her younger sibling as she felt the insult of being 'unsightly' dig into her very flesh, digging deep without resistance like a headed blade through melted butter. Her gaze remained fixed upon her sister as she parted her lips to respond but decided such wasn't needed and let it pass. With a raising of her left hand, she waved off her sister's statement and only gave a light smile to show that all was well. Though it was true she was hurt by it, it mattered not. She had damaged her sister in her absence and thus this is what she had coming, nothing could stop such from occurring. None the less, she adjusted herself to stand more comfortably, letting herself settle before nodding at her sister, encouraging her to speak on the matters which had been troubling her.
It was interesting to say the least, for the young woman as she stood before her younger sibling. They had been through much on their own. Sidera having to sacrifice, con, lie and steal to get her sister back to her. To find her. But was Acel searching just as hard? Yet here and now, Sidera is the bad one for vanishing in hopes of finding better things for their people. For staying within the castle study or in the human realm to continue learning about the other creatures which inhabited the realm they resided so closely to. And in her efforts of trying for her people, for her sister, she is then asked to back down by the one person she has sworn to protect? Oh but now SIdera wasn't needed for protection, was she? Aceldama had a family with a man more than capable of protecting the blue haired princess. Should anything happen to Sidera, Acel would already be taken care of, protected and gain the throne all in one swoop. To say the least, Acel's concern was confusing.
After a moment, Sidera's eyes seemed fixed on her sister with questioning, concern but then slight annoyance as she felt the influence of darkness which had been released more into her and giving Deri more power to fight back against Sidera's will. Deri was not getting out, no. But she did have more freedom in speaking within Sidera's head than prior. Such was a troubling factor to say the least. 'She wants you to back down? After all you have been trying to do for the land? Your meeting with the young one of the East? Being corrupted by that man so that your nation had stronger armies? My my... Even walking away from the potential to have a man at your side once again... All done for the kingdom. But hey, who knew that would happen right? Not like you tell anyone your ambitions or sacrifices. You just do. For your people, huh?' The words danced through Sidera's mind again and again and soon began coursing through her veins like poison. Was her sister trying to take her place? Did her sister believe her not good enough? She has asked for no support and it felt as thought she didn't get it anyway, but that was no reason to step down.
Her eyes, after a moment finally relaxed as a light laugh left the woman's lips. She shook her head, letting her long strands of hair sway with her movements before looking at her sister once more with light eyes. Her lips holding a faint grin which soon faded before her lips parted to speak to the blue haired one. "Oh? I should, hm? And why is that, sister? I've only just returned and since I've done plenty for our people. Am I not doing well by them? Am I not running our country right by meeting with others and keeping peace and alliances?" She asked with a more serious tone escaping her pale pink lips. Her eyes locking their gaze upon her sister who was visibly with child even though she had just been suckling another. Such was baffling and worrying to the woman as she shook her head. Who would take the throne? Her sister? Absolutely not. Not in her condition. She'd cause more problems by being in the state she was in. Kidnap-able as her children. Easily used for extortion and as a hostage in the best of cases."As much as I see your concern, I will not leave my throne."
