» Appearance Description: The first thing you notice about this young 5'3 man is the multitude of piercings that decorate his face. This is easily a turn-off for most, and walking down the street it wasn't un-common for a person or two to shoot him a dirty glance and classify him as a thug or a punk. If they looked beyond the piercings on his face, they'd see the massive smile there. Jack is completely content with where his life is now, and that joy is almost infectious if some one speaks with him. His hair is a strange blend of white, gray, and silver it's not immediately obvious if this something dyed to look like that, it appeared far too natural. Other than the obvious the only other large detail that stuck out about his physical appearance was his extremely pale skin, and a small bar-code esque tatoo that was engraved into his arm. The way Jack walks and talks almost exudes an aura of charisma. Any one who takes a moment to listen to him talk can easily find themselves drawn in by the raw emotion and passion that the young-man has about whatever he is talkin' on about. Despite this cheery demeanor that is in stark contrast to his appearance, there is a deep kind of sadness hidden behind his eyes. It's a rare occasion but it begs for further exploration to those who're of a curious nature.

» Personality:
Jack Silvers is a wonder to be around, despite whatever you are. He has seen so much, that almost nothing actually jars him and despite what most people think he is a strong believer that just about any one can be a good conversation waiting to happen. He has an almost perpetual happiness about him, but he has the know how when to dial down abit and let people relax. Despite his young appearance he seems very worldly in what he knows. He runs a business however, and when it comes down to brass tax he has absolutely no problem in talking numbers. He realizes how dangerous this can be, and is very careful about how he goes advertising this. Other wise he is just a completely normal and average man with nothing too extraordinary aside from some interesting piercings.

Jack loves talking to people from around the world, there is something magical to him about place he hasn't seen. The idea that there is so much to experience exhilarates him, and encourages him to start to explore ever so slightly, but no matter how much wander lust he gets he seems tied to his shop in the slums. He doesn't really hate that much, except for two things... the first being completely un-necessary violence, the second being a completely un-fair fight. The two are close but not the same to him. Other than that his one of his favorite things to do, that he learned when he was very young is how to brew tea. Not just any tea mind you, he has become obsessed with making the most delicious tea and matching the tea to the occasion as needed.

» Background:
Jack Thanatos Silvers was born in the middle of a horrible siege ... Twenty years ago his parents were part of a re-supply team sent to a Waste-Land as part of their duty to assist those who moderated the border to assure that there wasn't an over-fill of Hollow and Arrancar activity. There was no way his parents could've been prepared for what happened. Both of his parents were Spiritually Aware humans who had gotten involved in all of the craziness by mere-happen chance. They owed a favor to the Faction for saving their lives, and were paying their debts before moving on to the rest of their lives. When their trucks rolled up on the edge of the Waste-Land something was wrong immediately, the responding team wasn't there to meet them. It was shortly after the air began to ripple and an entire attack force of Hollow and Arrancar swarmed them and prevented them from leaving the Wasteland. His Father stayed back with several of those on the units to try and buy time for every one else. Jack's Mother took him and ran deeper into the Waste-Land with several others. It was there, lost in a scorching Desert Waste-Land, that his Mother had walked and hid for several days looking for any out-post. She died with him cradled in her arms, having succumb to the exhaustion and starvation.

These were the stories Jack was told as he was growing up. As far as he could remember, he only vaguely saw the silloute of his Mother when he thought about her. According to the man he called 'Uncle' who had raised Jack, that was the story of his family's death. It was followed by the short story of how Uncle had found his Mum and him laying for Dead, and brought them to the Out-Post. It was sheer luck that Little Jack was found at all, and for the next years to come he was raised at the out-post by several extremely powerful spiritual beings who tended a training school there. The Irony of this situation being of course, Jack never attended or learned how to fight. He never had to do anything like that, being surrounded by so many strong people and just being a child. It de-sensitized Jack for the rest of his life, he assumed life every where was like this. It was a daring world where only the strong were allowed to thrive, and it was a climb to get there, that was unless.. you had friends in the right places already. Jack loved his adopted family, and was raised by them until the age of Four-teen.

On his Fourteenth birthday Jack was ready to celebrate another lovely day with his family, thoughts of presents and cake running through his mind. Despite being an out-post in the Wastes, they had always tended to his normal life-style and supported his drastic... style choices. Regardless, this morning was different. He woke up to find every one already together, waiting for him at the front entrance. He was surprised of course, but it was then they all hugged him and told him how much they loved him, and that is why it was time for him to go back to civilization and try for a normal life. It was hard for Jack to learn that he wasn't strong enough to be apart of their world... and it meant he had to leave everything he knew behind. It was probably one of the scariest moments in his life, and that was coming from a child who has often giggled at powerful hollows being fought and toyed with by powerful fighters. He was escorted to civilization by Uncle, and they spent a year together before Uncle left Jack to his own life. It wasn't easy at first, but Jack's charisma and never ending determination was more than enough to propel him forward. No matter what was thrown his way Jack persisted on. Schooling was difficult, but he had been taught a considerable amount by his old family who cherished how normal he was in that strange situation. He graduated at a normal age, and instead of going to college sought to open up a Tea-Shop called the "Broken Spirit". He couldn't afford to have it put some where nice, however there was one building being sold on the very border of the Slums of Karakura. That shitty run down building took a year for Jack to fix, but he was never afraid of the inhabitants. Mostly because he was entirely impartial to either side and had seen enough Hollow and other terrifying beings in his life. He makes just enough to get by in this shop, and more importantly has stuck his foot into a shady business as of late. Lots of people come to his tea shop... and information is just as good as money.

» Human Capacities:
Indomitable Will - Being brought up in the Wasteland, sure he was always protected by a super strong group of allies, but he still saw things... those who didn't make it had to be buried, wounds had to be tended too, he wasn't completely without the effects of living there. Jack Silvers had to develop an iron stomach, and a strong will in-order to survive in these rough conditions. Almost any situation that comes his way he can find himself getting out of, and have the determination to move on.

Spiritually Observant - You have to be on your toes if you grow up in a Waste Land. There was so many powerful beings there was no doubt that Jack would develop the ability to see spirits, but on top of that he has become hyper sensitive as well. Jack has no idea he has a slightly heightened sense of people and monster's reiatsu. The smallest change and he physically flinches away, almost as a preemptive response his body developed. He doesn't fight often, but the more powerful his opponent is the easier it is for his body to pick up on what they'll do a split moment before they do it. An ability that is ultimately useless against an opponent that is too fast.

Master Tea Brewer - This may actually be more than meets the eye, he knows the effects of many different teas. As well as has the timing and skill to execute the kind of tea that will linger in your dreams. Despite his appearance his brews a damn good cup.

Pain-Junkie - He didn't get all of those piercings because he hated how it felt, he has a strange affiliation towards pain on an almost masochistic level. Which has led to him intentionally getting into a fight in the past just for the thrill of it.

» Roleplay Sample:

Jack Silvers loosed a soft sigh, bringing the small clay cup up to his lips and deeply inhaling the wonderful aroma of the the vanilla tea. The silver-haired man was sitting across from a massive figure in the far corner of his Tea shop. The crescent moon was high in the sky over-head casting several illuminated shafts of moon light through the various windows of the closed store. It wasn't un-common for Jack to do most of his business in the late night hours, as most of his clients weren't exactly the most human. When the massive shadowy figured inched it's face just into a shaft of life it revealed a massive row of saliva covered teeth and a frightening white mask in the vague shape of some horrifying wolf. It looked as if the creature could easily swallow the small Jack alive in one gulp. A small smile crept across Jack Silver's face, ultimately un-deterred by the appearance of his client he tilted his head back and drew a soft sip. The aroma and flavor was intense it invigorated Jack's mind and brought the news bubbling forth, " So.. you're worried about the patrol that some of the Vanguard are taking, your little crew is gettin' picked off one by one? That really is a shame. I'd love to tell you more, but I'll need to get a little more in return. " The intense look in Mr.Silver's eye betrayed he wasn't bluffing at all, and he knew he was dealing with an intelligent enough beast that this would work. Jack leaned back and drew another sip, filling the air with the sound of a single slurp before he continued, " So... What do you have to share?" The small grin on his face had exploded into a full smile, he knew this Hollow had info on a couple of packs goin' around and this was the best time to dig it up in the Slums. What a wonderful night.
