Tanzen is quite a nice and caring kind of guy. He enjoys reading books, so you could say that most of his free time he spends in the library. While, the rest of the free time he likes to spend somewhere in some canyons, relaxing and enjoying his time. Even though due to his job he does not have much free time, he never complains. Tanzen is not a lazy type of person, he has nothing against spending most of his time by working on different assignments. Whatever task he gets, he will always dedicate himself to that task, trying to complete it no matter what. That means, if he has to do something that he does not like, he will still do it. When it comes to communication with other people, he is quite an open person. He likes people and he likes talking to them about all sorts of different topics. Mostly, he likes to talk about music and company politics. As a high ranking official, he is obliged to be informed about all of the happenings inside and outside the company. Every day Tanzen enjoys having a cup of tea with some of the members of his division, socializing and letting them to express their problems concerning division and company related issues. He is a type of person who likes to listen to what people are saying to them, taking a note from everything. Then, when they are done, he usually makes a conclusion of some sort. Usually a helpful advice or/and a solution of some kind.

Actual Personality:
Behind that insanely handsome face, a man with no sense of right and wrong is hidden. He is a seemingly psychotic and manipulative person, with a twisted mind and his own weird sense of logic. Nobody, just nobody, could ever decipher what is he thinking or what does he plan to do. Even the most smartest and keenest person could never realize what this man is capable of doing. He is a highly unpredictable person, with clear goals and a destiny in front of him. This Quincy realizes what is he capable of doing and which are his limits. In every situation he uses his intellect to select the best course of actions from which he will earn something valuable, whatever that may be. He is always concerned about himself and only himself, nobody else, not even the people who at that moment he calls teammates. Indeed, he does not care about others, even if they get killed right in front of him and even if they are his allies. Even if he finds someone strong enough who he could serve, this Quincy will always think about his own gain and his own ideals, pretending to care about his master. He is a self-centered and egotistic man. Unless something quite unimaginable happens, or if he sees something that he counts as quite unimaginable, he will never change.

Appearance:
His main set of clothes includes a light blackish sleeveless shirt and a pair of brownish pants of an unknown material. Though, whatever it is, it is some really cheap material. Anyways, with those clothes he likes to wear black shoes. During the winter and when it rains, Tanzen usually puts a brown coat on, which is made from a bit warmer material. Even though it is also made from some cheap material, this coat is quite warm and it offers great protection from the rain. If the coat is not enough, he usually has something else under it, and instead of a sleeveless shirt he has a shirt with short sleeves. On some rare occasions, Tanzen even has a tie around his neck, a dark brown one, mostly during meetings and such. His hair is black, with a few silver fibers hidden among it. Usually, he lets his hair grow till it becomes too long and starts getting in his way. Only when it starts getting in his way, he gets a haircut. But, his hair grows unusually slow, so most of the time he has an odd looking haircut. Without his hair, Tanzen becomes a completely different man. Tanzen has odd looking red eyes, which match his light brown hair and his clothes perfectly. Nobody except him knows why are his eyes like that, most think that it is because he has contact lenses. But, it is actually because he had his eyes operated. Due to a certain accident a few years ago, Tanzen had his eyes operated. During this odd operation, he told the man who was doing the operation to change the color of his eyes if he could, and so he did. When going to work, he hides his eyes by wearing contact lenses. He is a quite muscular man, with a few pores over his face. Well, he is a man in his mid thirties, so pores are not actually something unnatural at that age. When going hunting, his attire changes somewhat, looking more like a Quincy attire than anything else. But, unlike a regular Quincy attire which is in white and bluish colors, his attire is in red and black. It consists of a black sleeveless shirt, a red coat with Quincy crosses over it, black pants and a red cross over his shirt. Hidden by his coat, he carries seven Seele Schneider’s, which are tied to his belt, which is red.

Natural Abilities
- Reiryoku Absorption & Manipulation:

A Quincy primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere and combines it with his or her own spiritual energy to form weapons. They have an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles such as in Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. They can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes. A Quincy most commonly reshapes spiritual particles into various types of bow and arrows but can also concentrate spiritual energy into the form of swords, Seele Schneider, or Gintō.

As a spiritual being, the Quincy can sense Hollows and other spiritual beings at a significant distance or tell in what direction they are in.

Short Description:

The quincy cross which Tanzen uses in order to activate his bow is a small and simple silver cross with a silver chain attached to it. It is usually tied to his wrist, with the cross always in his palm, similar to the way Uryu used to hold his Quincy Cross. There aren't any specifics about it, since it looks just like any cross which Christians have. Due to the fact that he has a cross which is at such a visible place, Tanzen is often mistaken for a Christian. Like shown in the picture, Tanzen has a white Quincy Bow, just like the one which Quincy used in the past. There is nothing special about it nor are there any special details about its looks, the picture shows it perfectly. The arrows which it releases are also white, just like the picture shows. Each arrow is one meter long.

Quincy Bow Powers:

Like any Quincy bow, this one is capable of shooting arrows at a foe, which are capable of harming spiritual beings and even killing them. Once killed by a arrow, a Hollow or an Arrancar will not get purified, the soul will get completely destroyed. That is a characteristic which all Quincy Arrow have. Of course, the ones used by Tanzen are a bit different. Like most Quincy Tanzen can fire multiple arrows at the same time, he is capable of releasing fifty arrows per shot. When the arrows are fired at this numbers, the general strength of each arrow is two times weaker. But, when fired two at a time, their power will be at their maximum cutting power. Also, he is one of those quincy who can somewhat change the direction of their arrows. Tanzen can only change their course somewhat, in a 45° angle, so he can't actually make them turn around or something that drastic. By aiming at a central point in a opponents Cero and releasing 175 arrows, Tanzen can match a Cero of anyone on his level or bellow. By doing the same, with 25 arrows, he can match a Bala...again, of a person who has the equal or lower level. Same goes with Hadō spells up to the level of 60 without the incarnation and up to 45 with or without one, 100 arrows can cancel them. Anything above that can not be canceled, no mater how many arrows gets shoot.

Quincy Tools Appearance:

Gintō (銀筒, Silver tubes) are small silver cylindrical capsules that store spiritual energy in a liquid form .They are used by Quincy for spell-casting in the same way that Shinigami use Kidō. Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.

Hirenkyaku (飛廉脚; lit: "Flying Screen Step/God Step", Viz: "Flying Bamboo-Blind Leg") is a method in which Quincy use to travel quickly over short distances. Essentially, it is the Quincy equivalent to the Shinigami's Shunpo, or the Arrancar's Sonído.

Ransōtengai (乱装天傀; lit. "heavenly wild puppet suit", "disheveled paradise puppet" in the Viz translation) — This is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement.

Hollow bait: This item is a small, coin-shaped disk that attracts Hollows when crushed.

Quincy Bangle (装身具, sōshingu; lit. "Accessory"): The Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spirit particles from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing spirit particles.

Seele Schneider (魂を切り裂くもの (ゼーレシュナイダー), Zēreshunaidā; German for "Soul Cutter", Japanese for "That Which Slits the Soul"): The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles.

Final Quincy Form Appearance:

Sanrei Glow - The glow which Tanzen has is not so much different from the regular ones used by other Quincy. The only difference is that his was modified to fit his style. The glow, instead of being white is black, and instead of blue stripes it has red stripes.

General Look Change - Upon entering the Letzt Stil, the attire of Tanzen completely changes, becoming more battle suited. On his left and right side, two armor shoulder protectors appear, both with a red cross drawn on them. On his back, on the left and the right side, he gains two wings of some sort. This wings are actually quivers of pure reiryoku, which collect large amounts of reiryoku, reiatsu and reishi from its surroundings, in essence storing "arrows" or the energy for them. The entire left side of Tanzen gains an armor of some sort, silver colored, just like the shoulder protectors, while over his body red stripes are drawn.

The difference between the Final Form on the picture and the one which Tanzen has is just the fact that Tanzen has two of this wings and two shoulder protectors, together with some color changes, everything is mentioned above.

Final Quincy Form Powers:

The abilities which Tanzen has in his Final Form are not much different from what Uryu had, due to the fact that the Final Form generally gives all Quincy the same abilities. Though, now he can fire only ONE arrow at a time, which gain quite a power boost. By charging an arrow, he cam make its power rise three times.

Spirit Arrow Augmentation: The power of the users' arrows are drastically increased; a standard arrow was enough to push a Captain, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, into releasing his Bankai. A charged arrow, arguably at full power, was enough to cut Mayuri's Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō completely in half, and continue traveling until it pierced a huge hole into his chest; even then the arrow still had enough power left over to cause large scale damage to the structures in Sereitei.
Reishi Dominance: Quincy no longer use the ability to collect spiritrons, but now they have "dominance" over them. Using the Letzt Stil, a Quincy can go past his mortal limits and break down spiritual structures, such as buildings, for their own power.
Vast Spiritual Power: After the Letzt Stil is released, the Quincy is engulfed in a tremendous and powerful blue aura, which is actually their reiatsu being released.
Hirenkyaku Augmentation: The Flying Screen Step technique is much faster. Using Hirenkyaku in conjunction with their augmented arrows, a Quincy in their Letzt Stil becomes a deadly opponent to all but the most powerful opponents/threats, as they are now at least stronger than a captain.

Background/Role Play Sample

Background:
Tanzen was born in a small village, in some country, somewhere in Asia or Europe. His village was very small, and it was surrounded by tall mountains, and large rivers. All people in that village were pour, and most of them had no food, or water. The village was ruled by a fat government official. He kept all food and money for himself, not giving anything to the villagers, and their families. Tanzen’s parents were pour farmers, who served that fat man, and lived in dirt. Their house was small, and they had enough supplies, just barely to survive. After some time, the government official who ruled the land decided to make his own personal army. But, he knew that nobody from that village was strong enough to become a soldier, or ready to help him. So, he decided to do something else. Knowing how the place was filled with little kids, he decided to take all of them, and raise them as his personal soldiers. For that, he had a couple of older mercenary who worked for him. They were once Navy soldiers, but now they were outcasts. Those two would do anything for a good pay, so that would explain why were they working for him. The attack was set up to happen over the night, while everyone was sleeping. During that night, the young Tanzen was somewhat 5 years old, sleeping with his parents. While his gentle blue eyes were closed, an explosion occurred in the nearby area, waking up everyone in the village. When his parents heard this, the quickly woke up, dressing up themselves and their child.

At the moment, they were only thinking about the safety of their son, not concerning about their lives. Tanzen was their priority, so they quickly dressed him up, placing him in his chair so they could tell him something. After a few minutes, the whole family came through the door of their hose, running towards the forest. As they were running, they could see people being attacked by the forces of the government official, they were everywhere. Knowing that they did not have a chance to escape, the parents of the young Tanzen sent their soon alone into the woods, with the instructions where to go. At that time, they stayed behind, stopping the bad guys to get near their soon. Without taking any seconds to look back, Tanzen entered the forest, disappearing out of sight. After leaving the village, the young boy thought that his parents were dead, killed in the attack. Even so, he still hoped that they were still alive, even though that was not possible. The instructions given to the young boy were about an old house in the mountains, and how to reach it. According to his parents, this was the place where his parents lived with his grandparents, a long time ago. Maybe they were still alive, so he hoped to find them and live there from now on. But, the reality was quite different. After reaching that house, he found the house empty, with nobody there. No food, no water, only clothes and some strange looking swords. According to his parents, Tanzen’s grandfather used to be a powerful Quincy who actually used blunt weapons, and those were his swords. That was the moment when he decided to learn all about his Quincy abilities and hunt Hollows. But, first he needed to train.

During the time after the death of his parents, the young Tanzen was crushed by this tragic. He used to think how his life was quite perfect. But now, he was thinking will he even survive the night. The nights at that land were so cold and scary. For a young boy like himself, living in a dark and empty house, alone, it was quite frightening. He hopped that all of it was some kind of dream and that he will wake up soon, so he could hug his parents and other people who he knew from the village. But, nothing was happening, he was not waking up. To survive in this harsh times, the young Tanzen had to hunt for food and search the land for water. The soldiers took all food and water from the village, leaving him nothing. He could not rely on anyone except himself, that was a fact which he made his mot at moments like this. Even so, Tanzen still hoped to find someone out there, just so he could have someone to talk with. Eventually, he started forgetting how to say some words, even the ability of speech was leaving him. Noticing this, Tanzen got an idea how to prevent this. By using a knife which he found in the former house of his parents, the young boy made a dummy out of the woods and clothes which he found. After it was finished, he started talking to it, just so he could remember how to do it. With that problem solved, the young man only had one more problem to solve. That was, getting food and water supply. At first he thought how he should get food by picking berries and mushrooms from the forest. But then, when he started that, the young boy remembered how some of this plants were dangerous. Some of them were poisonous, so he could not just pick them up and eat them, some other ways had to be found. Eventually, he found a small lake near the area in which he was, somewhat in the valley bellow the mountain. In it he found supplies of water and lots of fish swimming in it. So, now that he solve all of the main problems, training could start.

With his training in progress, the young boy started to grow up. reaching the age of 6. During the time which he spent there, Tanzen rebuilt the house of his grandfather and grandmother, fixing everything out side and in side. This included the roof top, which was broken on some places, so rain drops were falling in. After fixing that, he used one of the swords which he found to cut some woods around the hose, making a bad in which he could sleep instead of sleeping on the floor. With that done, he was able to move into the house, staying only in the living room, the only place which could be locked from the inside. The house was quite large, it had two floors, together with a basement. The living room was connected with the door which led outside and with the rest of the house. There were 4 doors leading into it, all of them could be locked, so Tanzen used to do that, just in case a wild animal approached the house. Other than fixing up the house for living in there, Tanzen used to practice with the swords three hours per day, gaining some impressive skills in that area. Not only that, he found a couple of letters which his grandfather left behind. Among them, he found an odd looking book. When he checked who was the author, Tanzen found out that it was his grandfather who wrote that book. In it, his grandfathers whole story was written, all about how he mastered his Quincy abilities and how his life was difficult. After reading that book, a tear fell out of his eye, the story was quite sad and it reminded Tanzen of his parents. So, eventually, the little boy decided to master his Quincy abilities as well.

A few years later on, once a boy and now a man, he could be seen talking to some young lady somewhere in Karakura town. Using quite fluent Japanese, Tanzen had a interesting conversation with the young lade, telling her about some interesting business related topics. Indeed, the little lonely boy grew up and somehow managed to get a good education and a interesting job. It seemed as if he left his dreams of becoming a Hollow hunter Quincy. But, truth to be told, nobody actually knew through what did he had to pass in order to get to this position nor what happened to him. Even Tanzen himself decided to shut down that part of his past, forgetting all about how he became a high ranking officer in a drug producing company. Due to his great skills concerning his job, he got quite a high position, growing quickly on the business ladder. He was only thirty years old and yet so successful. This position, it was quite close to a CEO, a couple more years and he was gonna get the position, he only had to wait till one of the other CEO dies or retires. But, something about him was different though. Every time after getting his work, Tanzen would vanish, never to be seen till tomorrow morning. The company cameras would not have any date on him passing trough the doors of the company and none of his partners and friends knew the truth about his sudden disappearances. But, since he was always on time and such a hardworking man, only a few people knew about this. Truth to be told, Tanzen never left his dreams, he actually became what he always wanted. Every night after his day job was done, he would use the Hirenkyaku technique to leave the building in order to do some Hollow hunting. While in action, his true personality is revealed. Sometimes, he doesn't only kill Hollow and Arrancar, he also has a tendency to kill even humans, Shinigami and Visored.

From quite a nice boy, a twisted man was born.

Role Play Sample:
After he has given an answer to the human looking being, the young Arrancar was positive that his new friend will reveal his own story now, so the mystery about his strange reaitsu could be revealed. When Tanzen first sensed it, the reiatsu of the man in front of him was quite odd and new, nothing similar to any other reiatsu which he sensed before. This was his first time encountering anything like it. But, with each second passing, he started to to slowly realize the truth of the man and his reiatsu. Since he met numerous hollows before and numerous human souls, he knew how to differ every reiatsu trace form another. This man, he seemed to have reiatsu off an human combined with reiatsu of an Hollow. Before, Tanzen could not have realized that since he just sensed it. But now, as time passed, he was quite sure about this discovery. But, before revealing this discovery to his new companion, he decided to wait and hear what he had to say. The speech which would probably follow now, it was bound to be interesting for the young looking Arrancar, so he started to pay full attention to the words spoken by the strange looking man in front of him. As the speech started, the strangely dressed man took a scientific approach to the situation, telling the Arrancar a little bit about his encounters with Hollows. It seemed that he had already met a whole bunch of different kinds of Hollows, such as many kinds of lesser Hollows who were on a quite low level when compared to Tanzen. But, he had also met a Menos Grande, a Hollow with abilities superior to others of his kind. There were two more advanced stages of Hollow evolution, which, this man probably never met. That was probably the reason why he considered that all Hollows were idiotic creatures lead by their hunger for souls. But, the truth was far more different. At a certain point, those Hollows change, mentally and physically. You could say that they grow up, becoming more intelligent. At that point, they gain the power and the will to finally take off their masks so that they may reach the final stages of their evolution.

Tanzen knew all about his race due to the time which he spent at his home world Hueco Mundo, or whatever did they call it. He was one of those Arrancar who were not proud with their race, nor did he liked others who place him in the same group as those other idiotic and mindless hollows, which were only concerned about feeding with other souls. But, unlike himself, the creature in front of him did not know much about his race. According to his words, their race was called Bounto and they were a race with an ability to absorb other souls. Judging by that, they were quite similar to Hollows and Arrancar, who had that kind of abilities as well. So, in some ways, their races were quite similar. But, unlike the Arrancar who had to pass through a long process till they become what they are now, this Bounts were created by one of those insane Shinigami scientists who liked experimenting on souls. Tanzen hated those kind of Shinigami the most, he hated them even more than he hated the members of the Soul Society 11th Squad, who were on the second place. Of course, the natural reaction of a Shinigami when they see an Arrancar is drawing their Zanpaktou and charging at them, how barbaric. But, this Bounts were quite different, a race which was a bit more advanced in any aspect.

Eventually, the speech ended, so yet again it was time for Tanzen to say something as well. As he ended his speech, the quite old Bount made a joke, which made the young Arrancar form a gentle smile on his face. This world was quite cruel, so at times like this, making a joke about anything was quite a nice addition to a quite long speech. When the speech ended, the young Arrancar decided to continue the conversation with a speech of his own. As an addition to answering the question of the nameless Bount, the young Arrancar decided to tell him something else. Moment after the end of the speech made by the Bount, the young looking Arrancar started to speak. "Eventually, the speech ended, so yet again it was time for Tanzen to say something as well. As he ended his speech, the quite old Bount made a joke, which made the young Arrancar form a gentle smile on his face. This world was quite cruel, so at times like this, making a joke about anything was quite a nice addition to a quite long speech. When the speech ended, the young Arrancar decided to continue the conversation with a speech of his own. As an addition to answering the question of the nameless Bount, the young Arrancar decided to tell him something else. Moment after the end of the speech made by the Bount, the young looking Arrancar started to speak. "What an interesting story you have there, it seems that I was quite mistaken when I mixed you up with a human, you truly are far more advanced. As for my name, well, I do have one. Before I died, the name given to me was Tanzen Beliani. After my death, when I became a Hollow, I forgot about my name till I evolved into a Adjuchas. Then, my old level of intelligence returned and I remembered who I was and what I wanted to become. Now that I have became an Arrancar, I regained my human form, not aging or changing in any way." After ending his speech, the young looking Arrancar took a minute to rest, before continuing: "Now that we both introduced ourselves and answered to each other questions, I would have to say that this little meeting was a success. Is there anything else that you might ask me?" When he stopped with his speech, Tanzen ended it up with a question. He was not up for making meaningless little chats like humans have a tendency to do, instead, this Arrancar wanted to have a talk with this man about far more important matters.
