Arrival of a lonely one.
Thu Jul 23, 2015 9:45 pm
After a long, long trek, Chloranthy had finally arrived at the massive wall that now lay before him. He looked upon it, gazing long at the great height of the structure in front of him, and he thought to himself. Chloranthy had been brought here by Eldrazi's reputation. It was supposedly a paradise of equality, prosperity, and order, where everything within was good. He had come here to see it for himself with his own vision. To find out for himself how much it holds up to it's reputation. He wanted to see if that while being an embodiment of order, it was still really so good. He may not know it actively but he may also be possibly searching for a home, as after so much time of being alone he had started to instinctively seek company. He felt lonely, and if such a paradise as Eldrazi where the problems with life that sickened him didn't exist, actually existed, just the idea drew him towards it in hope.
Eldrazi... order.. it now stands before me, the pinnacle of order, an almighty paradise. Just what do you hold within you?
He turned his head away from the greatness of the wall and to the gate before him and began walking forward. While his hands appeared to disappear into the sides of his coat, his arms were instead bound to his body at the wrist. He found it more comfortable that way as his arms didn't get in the way of anything. His clothing also seemed to flow as if blown back and forth by wind even though the air around him was silent, as this was only his body moving about, just to be ready for anything that may come at him unexpectedly. His face was like stone, expressionless and unmoving, only facing forward as he approached the gate.

Hirenkyaku, the step of God. Thin air was replaced with the visage of a uniform-clad woman. It all happened so quickly that there would be little time to react to it, and perhaps it would even scare him a bit. The whirring of machinery and clicks of mechanical parts moving about filled the area as four massive cannons trained precisely on the demon's torso. They were like the guns ripped straight off of a battleship, and miniaturized for personal use. Each one had two barrels that were about as long and wide as an entire human arm. They were attached to the woman's back by thick metal appendages, and there were even smaller cannons placed on top of the appendages as well, making for some ridiculous firepower for only one person. The woman herself was a long-haired blonde, dressed in a feminine gray-and-red military uniform. She looked both professionally deadly and dangerously attractive at once; this was the suit of an Eldrazi soldier.
''Halt!'' came her surprisingly deep, biting tone. She held one palm outward toward the stranger in the universal gesture to say stop, generally understood by all no matter the language they spoke. To make her point, each and every one of her armaments gave off a glow from deep within their barrels, humming with energy as though they were about to fire. He had not even yet stepped into the land of Eldrazi and he was already seeing the firmness of its rule. If this unknown figure did not display cooperation with the soldier, he would be blown up on the spot, leaving nothing but a smoldering blotch on the ground where he was once standing. This was not unusual for those who approached the gates of Eldrazi, the people around these areas should have by now understood this. No matter... everything would go just smoothly if he didn't start any trouble. Such would be the tone for their entire exchange. In the most typical fashion, once boundaries were established, the woman would demand aloud of the man: ''State your business with Eldrazi.''

Though Chloranthy's expression would remain unchanged at the sudden appearance of the woman before him, his reaction was still pronounced. Hit footsteps stopped and his clothing would whip around violently for a second and his right arm would quickly ascend from out of his body, landing to point a finger directly at the sudden newcomer ahead. The air around him would begin to shimmer for a few seconds, only to die down quickly. His arm would be lowered back into his body and the movements of his clothing would calm back down to an occasional sway. He wondered if they were always this violent, but he wasn't here to fight. Remaining ever stone faced, Chloranthy answered the woman's demand to state his business.
My approach in all of it's nature is not violent in intention. I do not strictly have business with Eldrazi. I have been drawn to Eldrazi by it's reputation and I wish to experience it. I assume you.. allow potential citizens to approach?
Chloranthy would will his body be still, ceasing it's flow and causing it to not only fall still but appear to lock in place as it hardened, excluding a small length of it at the bottom as to not overly hinder movement.

Artist: Savant - Song: Siren
Reneta was quick to stand at attention at the presence of her superior, straightening her body out entirely and saluting in Choranthy's general direction. Her weapons evaporated into a multitude of light particles, leaving her unarmed as she stared off over his shoulder. To Chloranthy, the sight would be rather sudden and random, seeming as though she were inexplicably hailing someone she'd never met before. Seconds later though is when a third presence would register for the youthful male, directly behind him. She'd not really given any indication of how she arrived, as it was not through high-speed movement, nor through a portal, nor teleportation. If one were to make an educated guess, it would be as though she'd always been there, and just hadn't revealed herself until now. Her hand moved gently toward Chloranthy's shoulder to softly rest upon it, though if there was a sign of resistance, then she would withdraw without complaint. Her body was seriously pale, white like marble, and just as lifeless at first sight. To contrast that, she had searing crimson hues that practically glowed as they overviewed the specimen before her, like rubies. They were the kind of eyes that one could get lost in, deep as an ocean, inviting others in. One look at them would cause voices to invade the minds of others, whispering at them, making them feel safe with her, comfortable with her. She was so close to him that she was able to lean her head over his shoulder, allowing her long azure locks to splash down his chest and arms, yet no other part of her body would be touching him.
When she spoke, her voice was a chorus of chimes, melodic and beautiful. She had the voice of a siren, and her words fell upon his ears with chilly breath. ''Yo there,'' she exhaled in a genuinely pleasant tone. Her smile looked so natural upon her face, even though Nozomi as an entity looked wholly unnatural. She was a great many things; a Quincy, a Ziamichi, a Human, something entirely its own thing... There was no one word that could fully describe who she was. She was one of a kind. ''At ease, Reneta. Back to your post, I'll handle this.'' She strolled past Chloranthy from behind, presenting him with her backside as she moved to stand in between him and the gateway to Eldrazi. The soldier who intercepted him would relax her salute and then vanish the same way she came, her body blurring into nothingness as a gust of wind announced her departure. Nozomi turned around to look at the demon alone, now, in a uniform not quite so different from the one Reneta had been wearing. Hers was pure black and white in color scheme however, making the few colors of her person that much more striking. Only the red armband on her left arm gave the suit any color, and then her hair and eyes supplied the rest.
''Don't mind the strange greeting. Things are the way they are for a reason, just understand that much. Call me Nozomi... I rule this land.'' She couldn't be expected to explain the subtleties of her Dominion before even the exchanging of names. It was not so surprising to be introduced to this woman so quickly, despite her stature as a ruler. She was an insanely efficient leader, so she had the time to do what she wished. To each and every individual of this country, she had the time for, and for potential residents, she exhibited the same treatment. His small explanation was just enough to catch her attention, and so the violent services of her soldiers were not needed. Chloranthy could perhaps sense that he was still being watched by others unseen, many many others. Still, it was easy enough to ignore them if he allowed himself to get lost in Nozomi's vivid eyes. ''So... tell me exactly how far you're willing to go to experience utopia?''
