Tina Courier Tal'Vohla, The Iramasha Summoner Empty Tina Courier Tal'Vohla, The Iramasha Summoner

Thu Dec 02, 2010 9:28 pm
IRAMASHA

Name: Her real name was currently unknown as even the leaders of the Iramasha Clan are not told of her identity. As a summoner, she was given a summoner name to cloak her true name as a belief that if someone told a summoner their true name, that someone will be granted nearly absolute loyalty. Her summoner’s name was Tina Courier Tal’Vohla.

Age: Her age was currently unknown, but she seemed to be in her mid-twenties. However, since she is from a very long line of prestigious summoners, she could be older than she looks. To the Iramasha Clan, they remembered her age to be within her mid-twenties.

Appearance: Tal’Vohla was taller than average with the height of six feet while having a desirably balanced medium frame. Her skin was pale and clean, marking her great health as a Caucasian woman with a European ancestry. Her gown was considered traditional for her family to wear as believed that the mythical beings of Limbo will recognize the time that they once ruled the land and caused superstitions all around.

Her hair was pale blond while straight and thick. All the time, she has her hair split on the back and pushed to the front, revealing her back neck at all times while the front side looks elegant and tamed. The only changes that would be made were the style of her long hair that can extend down to her hips if gathered to the back. The possibilities are her hair can be braided down the center, all center-split loose, layered left or right and decorated with jeweled, netted hair top, hair tubes and tied-on hair ribbons.

Her face was well-defined with the balance to her medium frame body with both the hint of youthfulness that lingered by her ascension from short-spanned mortality; just as the Bounts are immortal. However, the Tal’Vohlan is naturally able to prolong their life by annually sacrificing their champion to restore their youth through absorbing their sacrificed champion’s reiatsu. Light makeup was used to enhance her overall beauty instead of what many would use it to cover up; they rarely noticeable and often thought was her natural beauty.

Her eyes are a pair of suns behind thin ice while as calm as the pond after a storm tore its sanctum into ruins. Uniquely, the eyes of a Tal’Vohlan can literally see the summoning diagram when no one else could before it materializes. It became possible with the use of a family heirloom, a Seishin Buki in form of a crystal named, “The Tal’Vohlan Aeris-Ka-Tal’Vohcas.” Whenever she uses summoning or using the Tal’Vohcas, her eyes glowed with her body’s outline, giving a hint as to how much power a Tal’Vohlan would have.

Tina’s ears, when revealed from the shelter of her hair, were normal with a pair of earrings dangling below her lobes in shape of eyes with halves of a ruby and an emerald making up the iris and quartz tears for added detail. The reason for her choice of earrings was for attractiveness and attachment to her family’s history, creating her hatred for the Shinigami. It is unconfirmed, but the iris of the earrings is believed to represent the unity between good and evil to the eyes of a Tal’Vohlan.

Tina’s nose was slender while normally defined. The only flaw in it was a scar that would seem rare. Instead of the scar being horizontal, the scar was vertically followed the bridge of her nose. The scar was gained by unknown mean, but it looks quite narrow while noticeably red. Often times, Tina caress it with a medical soothing agent as if the scar still bothered her with the common burning sensation. It was really known to the Iramasha that her love for cats might have something to do with it.

Smooth and as red as her nose scar, Tina’s lips are subtle, small but quite youthful. They shined like she lightly used fresh lipstick for the purpose of buffering her youthful appearance and conforming to the scar as part of her overall beauty. Showing that she can accept her flaws and still can make it look attractive instead of covering it up shamefully.

Her mask was made of Yew wood with wax while embossed with gold strings and engraved with leaf patterns, signifying the Tal’Vohlan’s original attachment to nature before becoming who they are now. The mask was crafted for ceremonial purposes when the Tal’Vohlan was merely shamans. The eye sockets are very limited to give a passively calmed appearance, but at the same time a reason to fear the Tal’Vohlan as they show no fear for battles, even against their first foe, the Assyrians.

Her jewelries are mainly brass for shine and most of them have a single emerald placed at the center. Her hair tubes are short and only meant to keep her pale blond hair from spreading; she even has them applied with her front-center braid hairstyle. Sometimes, she has a elliptic, netted headdress on that was made of quartz linked with brass chains. Her neck torque’s heads are sockets with rubies inserted and locked into them. All of her decorations seemed to signify the importance of the Tal’Vohlan’s roles before they are casted out because of prejudice.

Tina’s undergarment consisted of wraps with durable satin and a linen corset that was used to give her a slender appearance. Both the bra and the panties are technically one long and wide ribbon that can be tied, twisted and knotted to the way that Tina felt was more comfortable. Tina chose to wear them for traditional values and they are more personalized than just regular undergarment. She only picked the corset because of a old habit that she has to avoid becoming bulimic over her medium frame.

Her under-dress was white and goes over her undergarments. It has a large outer collar that extends slightly above her head with an inner collar that contorts around her neck elegantly when tied together by a golden string. Although it covered her breasts, it caresses around it to compliment the figure. Below was a mini-skirt that was made of layers of fine cotton to give her over-dress’s skirt a bell-shape. The skirt extends down to half of her thighs. The only part that was covered by this was her torso and neck.

Over her under-dress was her over-dress. White as its under-dress, it’s considered her normal clothing. The dress covers most of her body while the skirt (because of the under-dress) has a bell-shape, which gave her legs and feet some mobility without accidentally stepping on its fabric. The sleeves extends down to her wrists before becoming a transparent funnel decorated with stem and leaf patterns. The over-dress was plain, but bolsters when the coat was added.

The green dress-coat was similar to the over-dress, but instead of covering her body, the coat only covers the sides and backside of the dress. The trims are golden for regal appearance while the golden strings are thick and durable for the purpose of tying the coat some-what closed with the over-dress revealing in between the two sides of the coat. The criss-cross pattern of the golden strings that held the coat closed goes from her pelvis over her breasts and the extended appearance of the strings gave the illusion that the shape was more voluptuous when viewed front side than it would have appeared when given the side view.

Tina’s footwear is a pair of low heeled dress shoes made of hard linen colored green to match the dress. The soles were hardened leather and the gold trims patterned in a vegetative style located on top of her shoes. The toes are curved up of easier mobility, though she has another pair that is not curved for formality.

Her foldable staff was made of aluminum with dusts from Yew wood in each of the four chambers located within the staff for mystical purposes. Considering it is foldable, the staff can be holstered, turn into a wand, a baton or full out, it becomes its true form. Although it looks not as fancy as it was imagined to be, the staff is plain and practical. Usually, there is a crystal floating around Tina and her staff, that will be her Tal’Vohcas.

Personality:
(Everyone has a general personality. Be sure to include any traits, fears, likes, dislikes and things of that nature.)

The Tal’Vohlan have intricate personality that accompanied their seals. Always, the seals are essentially pieces of their soul. To them, through their soul is the only mean to gain greater power for their summoning practices. However, like they lose half of their options when choosing a side, they lose half of their soul, making them likely to lose memories about their opposing side. With that regarded, the Tal’Vohlan made it important to discipline their descendants about staying neutral. Whenever a Tal’Vohlan gains one or two more seals, they also gained one or two sets of their personality.

(Seal 1) Tina has a flick-style reaction to certain things. At one moment, she was quite happy, then flick! She is quite upset. Flick again and she something else. When it comes to that habit to those familiar with her, she gets predictable once in a while.

(Seal 2) She is still human, so she does have feelings and may react in a certain way when talked to. Offending her would make her mad or sad, complimenting her would make her feel good or feel proud, and often times, it is noticeable that she is sensitive instead of being flicked because she has a less dramatic response in an instant.

(Seal 3) Arrogance flowed within her as she gets confident when the situation is going her way. She believed that her powers are granted by the deities for the purpose of greatness and discovery. When asked by someone who is not an Iramasha, she often smirked and decline and when she asked, she gave off a demanding tone as if she has high authority.

(Seal 4) Caring as a mother, Tina was often concerned about those who are working with her, though she sometimes shown her care through scolding and being angry at the one she was worried about. There are times that she took the effort to help her comrades while shown some sentimental value to her summoned creatures.

(Seal 5) She treats herself and does things for herself, what could describe her as selfish? She takes what should get and when making a deal, her price would be for herself alone, even if she was to save a kitten from a tree, she would be expecting something in return later. Best of warning, when she smirks, the price will be steep.

(Seal 6) Overall, she believed in justice and what she does would be justified in the end. She knows that she does a lot of bad and good things in the past, but she acted like it is “by any means necessary, the end will justify the means” to her. Unlike some people, she is not a zealot or a fanatic, she can let things go, but what made her grudges toward some of the other races was the past that she was told that her family was pushed into near extinction three times by humans and Shinigami alike.

Background: The Tal’Vohla (or “Those Who Call” in ancient tongue) Family are a family of prestigious summoners who started during the era of the Mesopotamians. Their role often involved being shamans, but their power extended further than just detecting and warding off evil spirits, they sought to control the spirits, making them the rivals of the Quincy and the Shinigami; the Hollows generally feared the Tal’Vohlan for their capability to enslave them with a single spell before dismissing them into Limbo, the realm of nothingness until they are called again. In the past, they are decimated three times; one by the Romans for evil magic, by the Templar under the order of the Pope and by the Shinigami recently. The Tal’Vohlan was typically thought to be extinct, but one man survived, and he is Tina’s grandfather.

She was born to a Tal’Vohlan father and a human mother, which made her a Tal’Vohlan by default. She started the practice in the arts of Seal Summoning when she was five years old and was recognized as a prodigy when she already discovered the fourth of the seals a year later as opposed to two years later. She learned the sixth seal when she was in high school at Karakura. Although she was moved there from Germany, she already knows why. Her grandfather was found murdered by a Shinigami and her father soon was killed by a Quincy, leaving Tina with her grief-stricken mother and naïve little brother who was currently enrolled in Karakura Middle School.

While Tina took the role of supporting the family, she regularly practices her summoning in the seclusion of the outskirts while her brother is at school. During that time, her mother would be resting off the grief that plagued her. Soon, the situation became frustrating to Tina as she was cursed to have this life, thanking the Shinigami and the Quincy under the breath of fire. One time, she learned that a lesser Hollow has intruded when she finds it in her backyard during the night. That night, she unleashed her talent upon it, marking it with a simple fourth seal spell and spoke to it. Strange to her, the Hollow stood there, staring at her with obedience. Curious, Tina tried conversing and the Hollow seemed to respond more humanely. Instinctively, she used a sixth seal spell and made it disappear. The diagram before Tina shows her what pattern she should use to summon the lesser hollow again.

Impressed with the incident, an Iramasha approached her and offered her recruitment into the Iramasha Clan. Though she has not heard of them, she see the offer reasonable. However, she asked for the price for her services. Her price for her recruitment is her family being watched and protected while she serves.

Branch/Position: Hybrid Leader’s Assistant

Class: Tal’Vohlan Summoner

Seishin Buki Name: “Tal’Vohcas” or “Those Who Envision” is a Seishin Buki that was part of the Tal’Vohla Family for more than a millennia. This thing is believed to have started the Tal’Vohla Family in form of a gift from the deities.

Seishin Buki Appearance:

Seishin Buki Abilities: The primary ability of the Tal’Vohcas is to assist in stabilizing the diagram and the seals, so the Summoner like Tina can summon at a quicker pace instead of having to take longer to stabilize the diagram on her own.

Powers:
Envision Diagram: Even though it was no longer useful at the Basic level, when the Summoner can see the diagram on instinct. However, this ability allowed beginners to see the diagram easily. This feature was considered useful when the beginner is learning the practice.

Stabilize Diagram: The primary ability itself, it assists in stabilizing the diagram for quicker access to summoning.

Absorb Soul Shard: Due to the deep connection with its Summoner, the Tal’Vohcas can absorb pieces of its master’s soul crystal and inject it into its master, restoring a part of the master’s soul and memories.

Forms: Only one form...herself.

Skills:
0 Tier is allowed 1 Master, 2 Advanced
1 Tier is allowed 2 Advanced
2 Tier is allowed 1 Advanced, 2 Adept
3 Tier is allowed 1 Adept
4 Tier and below only get beginner.
These are set in STONE unless Frost, Kenshin or I say otherwise.

Tal’Vohlan Soul Crystalization

Unique only to Tina Courier Tal’Vohla, this technique solidify her own soul into a crystallized sigil in form of an orb. Although it was not true that she extracted her own soul into a crystal, she used the orb to allow the Hybrid Iramasha Leader to monitor her well-being. If the crystal splits in two and one side is shattered, the leader would know that Tina Courier Tal’Vohla has fallen to one extreme and would need her soul shards retrieved. If the orb shatters completely, then Tina Tal’Vohla is slain.

Tal’Vohlan Seal Summoning Technique

Past down through the generations since the Mesopotamians, this technique was considered (out of arrogance) a gift from the deities as the pinnacle of conjuration. However, at the same time, it was a curse that plagued the Tal’Vohla Family for millennia. Black magic, witchcraft, forbidden arts, a lot of people are against this practice, though the Tal’Vohla Family continued. It starts with a child being introduced to the arts through exposure and teaching primarily from the Summoner parent. Eventually, the child learns the fundamentals of its practices, allowing the child to summon common denizens like rats and locust.

TIER 5
>>>> Second Seal Summoning (Introductory) | Achieved
Fairly simple for a Tal’Vohlan child, flick to the left and they can control a minor creature like dogs and canaries. Flicking it the other way will dispel the control and the controlled will lose memory of what happened. The appearance of it was a circle with two seals aligned horizontally in front of the Summoner. Like reading a book, the seals are aligned left to right. To summon the circle, the Summoner holds the wand, baton or staff outward.

TIER 4
>>>> Fourth Seal Summoning (Fundamental) | Achieved
The technique began to become more sophisticated as it allows communication, minor summoning and their first Ultima, a sub-technique that allows the Tal’Vohlan Summoner to summon their personal champion by completing one specific sequence. Generally, the seals appear in a diamond formation within the circle in front of the Summoner. To summon it, the Summoner holds the wand, baton or staff horizontally, get into fighting stance and thrust the tool forward while it is held horizontally. Always, the seals are aligned clockwise.

Ultima: Cait Sith (Puss-In-Boots) (1 Per Thread)

TIER 3
>>>> Sixth Seal Summoning (Basic) | Achieved
The technique matures into circle with six seals while becoming more abstract. The Ultima in this stage is more formidable than before since the Summoner can control a more powerful selection of creatures to summon. The seals are aligned along the circle while retaining the clockwise order. To summon the diagram, the Summoner points the baton or staff to the sky while holding the free hand out front while the hand parallels with the baton or staff. At this point, the Summoner can summon a portal to their respective realm; for example, Tina can summon a portal between Earth and the Iramasha Realm. Notably, the portal is free, so anyone can enter it.

Ultima: Quetzalcoatl (Feathered Snake) (1 Per Thread)

TIER 2
>>>> Eight Seal Summoning (Intermediate) | Under Research

TIER 1
>>>> Tenth Seal Summoning (Advanced) | Legendary (Not Achieved)

TIER 0
>>>> Twelfth Seal Summoning (Master) | Mythical (Not Achieved)

Roleplay Sample:

(Tal’Vohlan) “You want help from me, mortal?”

(Man) “Yes, ma’am.”

(Tal’Vohlan) “How much are you willing to give up for a wish?”

The man looked at the Tal’Vohlan with shock in his face. He never knew that the Tal’Vohlan would ask for something of his. He thought about his wealth, his ambitions and his daughter.

(Man) “I sought to control the Hollows so I could find my daughter.”

(Tal’Vohlan) “To pursue your political gains and control the economy? Such a big wish.”

(Man) “I don’t care, you can take my eye, my family connection or even my left arm.”

(Tal’Vohlan) “Your wealth shall suffice.”

The Tal’Vohlan stood up and held her right hand to the side, which was shortly held by the scales of a flying, feathered serpent as she walked to the man before her. She smirked behind her mask as she glided her hand over the man’s greased hair that was combed back. Her hand left the snake as she puts her right hand over the left hand over her midsection. The snake wrapped its tail around the man’s neck and lifted him onto his feet when he was on his knees before. The man looked behind him as the Tal’Vohlan opened a gate out of a decorated room where the Tal’Vohlan worked.

(Tal’Vohlan) “Depart now. You will see your wish coming true soon. Be warned, the Hollows are mine alone. As along you wear this mark on your head, you will be safe from them.”

The man looked down onto the polished floor as he realized a red mark on his forehead, a blessed mark for him, but to the Tal’Vohlan, it is really the mark that she used to send suggestions as the mean to manipulate people. The Tal’Vohlan has other plans...After the man left, the Tal’Volan shut the gate and opened a window of communication to the Hybrid Iramasha Leader. The Tal’Vohlan curtsied elegantly with respect for her leader.

(Tal’Vohlan) “Mi’Lady, the seed is planted. The man will commit the crime and get arrested by us soon, at the same time; I can find proof of my capability to control at least a small battalion of lesser hollows. It can be beneficial for us to have extra eyes looking for the vile offenders for us. I would not guarantee that the Shinigami would like it and may interfere, so I request a companion or two to accompany me in this field experiment.”
