So much excitement was flowing through his veins violently as he was not only watching the battle unfold, but also the feelings of what was going on were making his Yuudeshi Drive tingle in wanting to be activated. He was tempted to fight more drasically, but it wasn't the time yet to do that, and Moroi hadn't started unleashing his hell yet, so it was smart to keep shit on lock until it was necessary. His blade simply rested in his hands for a moment seeing the secondary spike clash against his. It was a beautiful sight to see Moroi using more than one type of an attack. He was beginning to understand his unit a bit more. His was much more advanced than his, and he had ways to manpilating it around so it worked more and more like a skin to him than a suit of armor. It was slowly making sense to the young Yuudeshi. He was proud of him, because he was making Kaito have fun, something he hadn't had in ages and yet right now he was having so much fun fighting, he was definitely a true to his descendents before him. He had a smile cracked on his face as he was clearly laughing if such sounds were heard in space was up to the beholder. He was watching him carefully seeing his movements after he had shot the Yin Surge through the spike to add to the power of it. It was a pretty dangerous and smart move on Moroi's behalf.

Kaito had seen Yin surge used before because of Sagumi's teaching and he could of tried using a Yang surge and cancelling it out, but that would just give him more ammo against Kaito and him having those funnels and Kaito with his own beams were just enough for now. So as the rocketing spike came closer he made the blade vibrate rapidly as if he was going to use another explosion focusing on making it like a high frequency sword. Using the high frequency and the energy poured into the blade to slice through the projectile which was probably not as strong as a Zanpakutō, and the laser that was surrounding the spike as well even if it was he was adding energy into the blade to ensure it was sliced in two completely destroying the usefulness of the Spike for the time being. "Hahaha..." If Moroi didn't know him by now laughing was a good and a bad thing. Good because he was having fun, but bad because he was getting into the fight now. Lightly popping his knuckles as he took a small breath from within. "Moroi, what is the purpose of the Akagai? I mean I know the reason why for you...but for me... I have to know what the purpose is.. I can always create a new one, but I want to treat it... like you do." He had a sad smile for a moment. As he moved on his volition with such a graceful stride it was kind of elegant in space. HIs mind had built the Akagai once, and now he would be buliding it more and more in his head to how he fought. It was slowly coming to him, like an elegant drawing from a famous artist like Rodain or Van Gogh. It was a beautiful work, that would come to life later. He would definitely show Moroi after it was done, but that had to wait he was in the middle of a fight, but it made him hopeful.

Taking a moment to look at the moon. making that suggestive look. "Race you to the Moon Moroi, we'll continue combat there." Kaito then without a further notice rocketed himself to the Moon with no regrets, he wondered if he'd follow. He had his blade still in his hand as that would be the clue he was going to still fight him, but he wanted to be on a different venue now. It had to change now that the stakes had in a sense. Kaito was wondering... would he ever be able to surpass his own power now. He wondered this as he rocketed so to speak the half of the mile sprint to the moon. Using his natural speed then breaking the fields of AIM down to create a force of a cone around him to help him accelerate to a very high speed, with as little of resistance as possible. Once he'd land on the moon and Moroi would, Kaito would stuck his blade into the ground and began to focus closing his eyes and channeling his spirit so to speak as his energy would flow around him defensively. It wasn't an armor as Moroi would of thought he was actually trying to find his point of focus once again. Once he'd find it he'd place it into its sheath taking the stance that Sagumi had taught him his red eyes focused and ready to go. It would be a matter of a few seconds for him to focus all of himself into the battle now, but once Moroi seen the cleared up look of focus on his face it was probably more than enough of a sign that Kaito was ready for battle. Making the exhaled face then the focused one the energy that Kaito has was wanting out, and he was just biding his time on it. 'Focus on the person you're fighting, see their weaknesses and strike them.' Kaito was clearly shifting his mind would Moroi follow him or just leave that was his decision.

Moroi watched in quiet contemplation as Kaito cleaved straight through the spike and the accompanying surge of energy that Moroi had shot. It wasn't necessarily a surprise that Kaito had avoided and negated his attack, it was annoying how easily he seemed to do it. There had been an opening though, as the sword was cleaving through the Spike and the accompanying energy surge, but Moroi chose not to exploit it, some leniency for his friend perhaps...though friend was such a strange concept for him to grasp. Friend perhaps wasn't the right word. It was more of a respect...or at the very least acknowledgement. Moroi didn't care nearly enough about trappings such as friendship, but he did admire that Kaito's brain, while not quite at his level, was still far more advanced than the myriad of hairless apes that populated the planet below. It was that fact that had angered him though. He had always believed that his deficiency was only permitted because his decrepit physical form balanced it out, maintaining equality in their ridiculous world to some extent. He hated the concept of equality and that was why he strove to cure himself, to spit in the face of "balance." When he saw Kaito though, still intelligent without the deficiencies...Moroi got angry. It spat in the face of the justification he told himself to help the nights pass. As much as he respected Kaito, the world would make much more sense without him in it...but perhaps he overstated his "friend's" intelligence.

Kaito asked what was, fascinatingly, the most pointless question Moroi had ever heard. He didn't respond especially quickly, instead letting the expressionless plate stare on for him, though somehow his irritation still was transmitted through the air. From what Kaito had told him of his master, he seemed like the overly preachy, awkward proverb type of educator, so Moroi had trouble believing they had never had a lesson about weapons being an extension of one self, and as cheesy as that sounded, that truly was the key. The Akagai wasn't Moroi's weapon, it was Moroi. The two were synonymous. It was a state of being, and the notion that Kaito needed to request the purpose of an Akagai was like asking what his own purpose was. It was something you needed to know, inherently, and Moroi couldn't give that answer to him. So he defaulted to the obvious answer, the answer that wouldn't really help Kaito at all, yet simultaneously answer just what the Akagai was meant to be...and why Moroi wasn't sure that, even with the technology, that a non-Wareyasui would ever fully realize their potential.

"Whatisthepurposeofyourarm?"

Then there was the intelligence again. As the funnels withdrew, each one connecting back in to Moroi's suit and any residual energy built up around them was assimilated back in to the Magatama engine, Moroi worked through the prospective thought processes of Kaito. Moroi wasn't sure if Kaito was descending to the moon for the tactical reason or simply because he genuinely wanted a scenery change. Tactically, letting him descend was horrible for Moroi. He had every advantage in space. He wasn't restricted in his movement, he wasn't on a ticking clock for sustenance without gravity, he wasn't weighed down at all by the considerably more mass that his body held...but on the surface of the moon all that would change. Moroi would be weighed down, a lot of his equipment that were taking advantage of the weighlessness would lose that extra functionality and the advantages that came with them. Still though, he'd give him the chance, the whole point of this exercise was to test the abilities of the Akagai as much as possible, giving him further advantages would only push him harder, which was the point. Moroi was in no rush to race Kaito to the surface of the satellite though, he wasn't quite as juvenile as his opponent/friend/respected colleague. Moroi landed with a soft thud on the surface of the moon, spending the flight down accounting for the change in gravity and comparing and contrasting it with Earth's, mapping out internally the differences in force application needed to move accurately and adequately on the Moon's surface, there were many calculations to account for however, this was one of the few moments where he was happy with the aforementioned trade off.

Moroi's pure white and still rather unscuffed stood as a stark contrast to the ever present black abyss that stood as the back drop. Moroi let Ookami drop gently to his side, blade angled down at the grey landscape stretching around them. He wasn't sure, what Kaito still had planned, but he was getting rather bored persistently being on the offensive. Eventually, he'd break through, no matter what Kaito had for him, that was just the inevitable. He had to work much harder to keep himself sustained in space than Moroi would, especially given the fact the Moroi's suit was doing his breathing for him independent of his energy reserves. Kaito was going to need to regulate that himself. Moroi would eventually break through his Kaito continued this strange turtle which, honestly, wasn't what Moroi was expecting out of him at all. He'd give him a chance to take initiative, if only for a moment, before he started ramming his assault down his throat again. He was a human though, they tended to be cowards.

While Moroi was landing on the Moons surface after the damage that they had been doing to it he felt a calm wind around him, not one made of air particles but the ones around his body. What Moroi didn't know is that Kaito hadn't finished releasing his powers. Yeah space was a scary place, but he always left enough energy to teleport back to his place, and have enough air to last a long winded battle like theirs in the case he had do something reckless. At the moment the seal within him was wanting to be released. His mind was clear as he drew the sword from the crust of the Moon, and then sheathed it. As Moroi would see the electronics from the shattered Akagai unit float around Kaito for a moment. There was still usable parts from each weapon, computer chip and the like floating around Kaito. He wanted to test the limits of an Akagai, well he would get a new one to play with Moroi with. Sure he could of just done this easily in space, but on the moon since there was colonies here he could tap into the rare metals and copy them out making a new stronger Akagai meant for combat that Kaito wanted. Sure he wasn't physically overwhelming, but he was geared to close range combat due to Sagumi's training and he needed something that could be a close range fighter, while having some range options. That's why he formed the new Akagai in front of him using largely the same power supplies and the like reforming them in a matter of seconds. It wasn't hard for him to do, the blueprints were in his mind already, like a large schematic that was simply coming to life now. Each piece that he was constructing was perfect, and ready for combat. He wasn't turtling to just be defensive he was rapidly constructing an Akagai for Moroi to fight properly.

Looking at the original schematics of the "gundam" that Kaito was basing the design off of, he had a problem with energy, and the great thing about his system was that energy wasn't a problem for him to deal with, and it looked like the variableness of the robot he was creating was on par with what he wanted. The machine that he created was about the same height as Moroi's Akagai now instead of being a very heavy machine it was much more lighter and aerodynamic making it capable of sustained flight in any atmosphere. It was largely white with red accents. Kaito was within the suit piloting it now. As it came to life before Moroi. It was much stronger than his original Akagai, in terms of being able to take more hits than the original. That was a prototype this was the real thing. He took the time to figure it out. As he could tell that Kaito finally got what he meant. As it would be a mid to close range fighter, like Kaito was himself. As he had wings on the back to keep it easily in flight, and it sealed allowing Kaito to not use energy for breathing in space allowing him to focus his energy to add it to the Akagai's allowing him to power it up more. He'd notice some serious changes like a shield on the left arm and a sword that was a copy of his own in the left hand to keep up with the demands of Ookami, the sword of Moroi's. The Wings were solid blue in color as there was five on each side and they were spread out ready to move as Kaito had a feeling that Moroi was getting antsy, and he didn't want to disappoint his associate/partner/asshole of a friend. Kaito had finished it with some other details like shoulder mounted beam guns and the binders. He wanted to add more, but time was money, and time was running short, because he had a feeling they had more things to do, so he would just have to roll with this payload until he could fully make a new one.

So he'd move the rear mounted beam cannons over his shoulders as he would use the screen in a fully open lock-on system. Sure they could lock on, but the beam could only curve so much. "Let's go.." He'd shoot the pair of beams as they'd create a red colored beam that could punch through most guards as he'd step on the gas so to speak and continue with his assault now. Irrelevant if the beam connected or not shifting the binders to the shield on his left arm as the energy would reinforce the shield so in case he shot a projectile it would either disintegrate against his shields electromagnetic field which would cause the thing to vibrate to shatter into pieces or just be knocked away by moving the arm as he would be using the thrusters to move at top speeds, depending on how Moroi reacted swinging at his chest with a violent slash as Kaito's eyes were watching everything at top speed as he was monitoring everything with such ease as if he knew the feeling of the suit, although he created it now with him in mind making the movements like Kaito's own in space and if his attacks were slammed into the moon it'd cause a crater or two because of the sheer amount of power as the energy system he created within the suit was adjusting to the movements and energy output needed as the dual core system responded well. Each time he moved the Akagai it moved fluidly as Kaito felt finally at home with this. Depending on how the situation goes Kaito would naturally have to respond as he couldn't really move in the cockpit as he was stuck using the controls unlike the other one which he could move with his body, but this one had to be like this, because he wanted to be in the mindset of his friend to be able to understand the struggles a bit of being unable to move on his own. Kaito wanted fun, and hopefully Moroi was still in the mood. His Akagai was reborn.

(OoC: The Gunam base is the CB-001.5 Gundam mixed with wings and shoulder mounted canons similar to Freedom's.)
