Nothing To Do [OPEN]
Fri Aug 01, 2014 4:19 pm
Song: Spende --- By: Bosshaft --- Word Count: 524
The night was young as space ripped in one particular point. In a fast and swift motion, Kururai lept through the opening which connected his dimension to this one. Promptly after doing so, the opening had closed, restoring the tampered space. Accompanying the fall of the sun was a beautiful spectacle Kururai had only witnessed in the confines of the Nether. Lights flurried the area from all side, some buildings standing with a rustic look. It truly was an interesting display to the young boy who hadn't seen it first hand before. Marveling at the wondrous sites to behold that filled his mind, Kururai mustered out a few words which added emphasis to his lack of experience, "So... This is heart of the land of my creators. Fascinating... and a bit... infuriating."
A sly grin drew from his face, his eyes hinting some malicious intent. He gazed at the buildings around him, part of his mind admiring them, and the other part wondering what he could do to tear it all down. Clearly, mixed emotions filled his thoughts--said thoughts were interrupted, however, when the common voice of the Nether spoke out, oddly showing a bit of concern in his words and tone, "Kururai, don't start anything. You may very well regret it. Now be calm and rational." With rational thought, Kururai would have kept to himself, saying the following words confined to his mind; alas, he wasn't all too into a state of rationality. Raising his voice, Kururai momentarily released a solid grasp on the amount of energy that flowed throughout him, momentarily surpassing the expected cap that his body had limited himself to. In a furious burst of anger, the Dimensional Energy had suddenly spiked, enough to cause a slight indigo tint to cloak his body, the dust around him to rise, and the metal nearby to hum.
"Hah! Be calm and rational? That's your style, Nether. Besides, I don't think you can empathize with these not-so-subtle feelings of betrayal. I don't recall you being made for some random purpose, only to be thrown away when considered a failure that was on THEIR OWN PART." Kururai began to snarled, his pale teeth baring and brows furrowed, clearly expressing the anger which suddenly exploded within him.
"....."
Realising the silence he caused in the Nether, Kururai quickly continued his expressed emotions, this time seeing to it that the words he wanted to say never left his mouth, and was instead directly relayed to the Nether. But.. you're right. This isn't the ideal time to act rash. Besides, without their stupidity, I might've never met you. A solemn smile was left on his face, clearly showing his apologetic feelings towards the Nether, despite never really saying it directly. Harbouring truth in the words recently spoken within his mind, Kururai had seen to it that the Dimensional Energy which abnormally flowed far more than should be possible was suppressed--kept to a bare minimum that only sustained himself.
But, with the raging spike of energy that had been expelled into and throughout his body, it might've been too late to prevent drawing much attention. In fact, some had probably already taken notice.

A soft sigh escaped the mouth of the pink haired female. Red cat like ears twitched as a yawn escaped the petite girl’s mouth. Her red furred cat like tail danced behind her as her pink eyes tracked the fairy creature that was flying around her room. Her body stilled as she waited, and when the fairy finally came to a stop in mid air she leaped forward. Hands reaching out, one held up to block any escaped, the other one swiped at the thing… and went right through it. Landing on the floor with a thump, Rachel whimpered slightly. This whole situation was new to her, not knowing what was real and what was merely in her head, it disturbed her greatly. Rubbing her head though, her eyes widened when she felt the sudden surge of energy. Despite being all the way in japan, her attunement to energies from other dimensions allowed her to sense what had happened.
Jumping to her feet, unnatural purplish energy leaked forth from her body. One of the reasons that Rachel had the attunement to energies from other dimensions was due to the fact that she herself was not totally of this dimension. Both of the material realm and of the dream realm, Rachel was an individual who belonged to both. Her body slowly began to morph as she wished away her tail and ears, not wishing to scare whoever it was with her cat like appendages. Sure, anybody who was sensitive to energies such as hers would be able to tell there was a layer of energy around her that was changing her form, but she felt it was better this way. An arm reaching outwards, dream energy shot out to form a portal, a portal to where the spike of energy had come from not moments ago. Taking a deep breath, she stepped through the portal, looking around at where she had appeared. It seemed she was in Europe, London to be exact, and this was something that worried her. She knew that the demon queen lived nearby, and being a member of the yayjuu, it was likely she would not be welcome should she do as planned.
However, Rachel did not care at this point. It was time she declared herself for what she was, the gateway to the realm of dreams. Her energy flared from its previously restrained place, the otherworldly energy spiking and likely alerting everyone within Europe of her presence. To those who could sense it, the energy would feel unnatural, dream like, reminding them of their best dreams and worst nightmares simultaneously. Looking around, her eyes glowing with purple energy, the young woman spotted a man a good ten feet from her, sensing the energy that lay beneath his skin. For she had been specifically looking for energies from another dimension, making it rather easy to weed out those who were completely of this realm. This man though, he was not, she could see the restricted current of another dimension within him. It was not of the dream realm, she was sure of that, nor did it seem like the energy of the void which had recently caused damage within karakura. Sighing softly, she turned and walked towards the man, her energy slowly tapering off and calming from the spike. Smiling at the fairy that was flying around her head, she absentmindedly stroked the hallucinatory creature as her eyes stared in to that of the boy who she had come for.
“You are not of the Quori, I have no need to eliminate you from this world. I am Rachel Inverse Dare, Gateway of the dream realm. To who might I be speaking?”
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"
