Silence Descends: The Queen of Vicara Plane Strikes! [Rebel Rave Mission: Western District]
Tue Apr 29, 2014 9:50 am
Artist: UVERworld - Song: Fight For Liberty
It was a brisk night in the Northern District of Naraka Sahara. The cool night air sent a shiver down the spine of most demons, humans, or any other race that passed through here. On the outside, this night seemed like any other one. A cool breeze passing through the city of Naraka Sahara, the rummaging of demons among the crowds of people in the streets. However it was anything but that. A lone demon sat atop of a large building, measuring anywhere from two hundred metres to five hundred metres tall. As the lone woman sat, her vision shifted over the horizon. She was waiting. For what? Her time to strike. Her family had issued a capture, destruction and intelligence gathering of the Rebels named "Ravens". Just the very title brought a fowl taste into Nami's mouth. Yet she sat silently atop of the humongous building, waiting for any sign that the other operations had commenced. Her vision was mostly focused onto the Northern District, where her sister, Mana Asthavon, was to carry out her part in this mission. Albeit it was a weird instance seeing Nami here in the first place. The woman formerly titled "Dragon Slayer" was a lonesome woman, a non-caring one at that. If the mission has been just Shadow Fall related, she wouldn't care for it at all and sit out. But the fact this mission called upon the Asthavon family, and against a group that threatened their families rule over Demon World... That was something that required her aid. Even with the limit that was placed on her, even with the problems she now faced, she couldn't sit idly by whilst her sisters, whom she only cared about, were fighting and she wasn't.
Yet as these intense thoughts rushed through her brain, a soft smile erupted upon her face. For off in the distance, in the direction of the Northern District, it seemed tensions and commotion were raising. She didn't care who got in her way now, seeing that Mana had started her assault upon the Revel Ravens, it was natural for Nami to follow suit. Slowly bringing herself to her feet, Nami looked down upon the lively city below. Sighing to herself, one foot would be placed forward, with this foot that hung off the edge, she dropped. Within the blink of an eye, Nami was falling from the roof and heading towards the floor at amazing speeds. Her location atop of this building had been strategically placed; as right below her feet was an accumulation of rebels. How did she know this? It was mostly due to her briefing and knowledge of the Rebel's existence. Most of this city was filled with those of Rebel Ravens, so, in the end, it didn't matter where she struck. So as the tall, thin and sharp buildings remained strong, the people below were about to change.
Falling like a comet hitting Earth, the ground was torn in two as Nami erupted in a burst of dust, paving and metal shards filling the air, even impaling some of the Rebels among them. As the dust settled, the black haired Asthavon would be seen standing still, both hands placed in their respective pockets. Her skirt flapped in the breeze, as did her small jacket. There were at least twenty or so people surrounding her, not counting even the people who were unseen to her eyes. They mostly shouted demonic slurs at her, asking why she did this or that they were going to slaughter her. With a sigh, Nami thought that perhaps this could be easy, that perhaps she was going to be able to get through this without much problem. Yet she also thought... was she really that unknown among the demons? It didn't matter to her in the end, she preferred a life of solitude and kept herself out of the lime-light, but she figured that even Rebels and Demons such as this would be able to recognise the Queen of Vicara Plane, a Royal Asthavon if they saw one. Never the less, a few of the rebels had come forward and attempted to strike her, however their blades and fists were sent flying backward before they could even touch her skin. Due to her skill in Akuma Kyodo, this made it extremely difficult for many people to hurt her, let alone touch her.
After a few strikes, the rebels had stopped trying to attack her before it hit them like a freight train. They finally realised who she was, what she represented. An Asthavon, a woman that with-held the power to crush the world. A demon whom would stop at nothing to see her family rule. Nami did not know whether or not these men could stop her, she didn't even know if they could touch her, but in the mean time - she had a mission to do. Gain control of the data among the Rebel Raven's bases and carry out any other objectives required. The building she was atop of wasn't just by chance, however, as right below her feet was said to be their station within the Northern District, somewhere within the building. So as the last lingering dust disappeared from her landing, she yawned and slowly walked into the building, raising her right hand over her shoulder and waving backwards as if to say "goodbye, follow me and I'll kill you." By the time she reached the middle of the peculiar shaped building, curiousity continued to overcome her. She was told, in the intel, that it was meant to be right here. She decided that there wasn't any way it would be up, so it either had to be on the ground floor, or...
With the thought of where the data and intel would be gathered, a golden blade appeared into her right hand. In a flash of Golden Light, the huge blade would materialize and fit perfectly into her palm. At the same time, the demonic and ancient seal located on the back of her right hand would emit a darkened red glow, then suddenly stop. After a few seconds of silence and no action, a sudden burst of power would explode out from her body. Demonic energy and raw power surged through the building, shattering glass and even collapsing some of the inner-columns of the tower, making it's structure unstable. To those on the outside, it would appear that a bomb was set off right at the base level of the building, threatening to collapse it's structure. Despite this, Nami still stood among it, and now, by her feet, there appeared a large hole in the ground. Her energy had been focused into a single point for that attack, drilling hole into the floor, all of the windows shattering and collapsing structures was simply an aftermath of her energy, collateral damage. Leaping down into the newly created hole, her vision fell upon the data-hubs in which she was searching for. The seal, by now, was placed upon her again, the red glow emitting and sealing her full power back into it's original state. Around here were the data hubs, however she couldn't pin-point a master console if there was one.
'This is going to be a pain. If resistance shows up, then gathering this intelligence and spreading it to Mana will be annoying... Jeez, why do I even bother. I'm sure they could handle this without me.' With this thought, she sighed to herself for a moment then forced the sword in her hand to disappear in a golden flash. Perhaps there was more data she could read, record and then destroy here, now was the perfect chance to test her theory. That way their data was gone, but she had her own. Either way, this was just the beginning. Standing up from landing, she would begin to lift rubble and scan the data-hubs surrounding for the intel they with-held.
