West District Rukongai (Operation Demonic Incursion)
Mon Apr 28, 2014 3:28 pm
Hiroshi shunpoed through the Seireitei after making his decision on which mission to take. He easily knew the routes which he needed to take in order to reach his destination with the quickest speed. Their seemed to be lower level demons set as scouts and trackers at each turn, but he easily left a scorched trail of demon remains while barreling through the ranks. He employed the most effective tactics only by using a little more strength per strike to increase his ability to tear through multiple enemies as he was traveling. This was different compared to the war he had just been through, but it was war never the less. The worst part of it though is that it was at his home. Attacking his friends and allies. He did not pretend that he was unaffected, but he instead removed it from the equation and focused into a fine edge in order carve them away from the soul society like a cancer from a body.
Reaching the Seireitei's wall with the door blown open he passed right through and went on to scout the area. He needed to save his allies, but he also knew he would have to do it in a way his Captain approved of. If he didn't then Tsubasa would be disappointed, and that was not allowed. Fortunately for him he had the perfect weapon to help release them. He drew Zanpakutō at the edge of the Western Rukongai and with a group of twelve demons just ahead of him. These bastards had the gull to try and take his home. So instead he decided to take their lives.
Hiroshi took hold of the hilt of his Zanpakutō and as he pulled upon it releasing it from it's sheath an immense he resonated from it which scorched the ground and began to burn away the nature and melt the buildings around him. With his energy slowly rising the demons immediately noticed his presence. For Hiroshi it didn't matter who noticed him from where, because it was only a matter of time until he wiped every demon from the face of the Western Rukongai.
With a moment of pause Hiroshi stopped and began to stare down the demons whom had begun to charge him and in a moment after a slightly tighter clinch to the grip of his sword he stepped forward and shunpoed directly in front of them slicing his blade horizontally and halving the first two demons with ease followed by ducking to dodge the charged attack of two demons and spinning all the way around cutting through each demon at their mid sections.
It wasn't until this moment he had realized how much stronger he had gotten moving forward with quick and precise strikes he finished the rest of the group in a matter of seconds. He knew this was only the beginning, but he was ready to face an army if it meant saving his allies.

Demons had littered the streets, running rampant and killing without order. If they saw a person, they killed them, if not they looked for a person to kill. It was simple for these disgustingly simple creatures. Carter had been sent by his captain to help in what ways he could in this district. He'd been fighting on his own for the better part of three hours, having not really met with any allies causing him to worry that he may be alone here or that those he was meant to meet up with met an untimely end before he could assist. He had a secret hope though that the others were just spread out, making a wide grid through the district where the could deal with a large scale of enemies easily yet still call for help if need be.
In fact he was so deep in this thought he barely missed a blast of energy from a demon he hadn't noticed. He'd been on this one road now for a good 15 minutes fighting the horde, but they kept coming until about 20 seconds ago when the road cleared out and he thought he had had killed them all but they merely had adapted and found a new way, knowing rushing the Shinigami wouldn't be an effective tactic. One fat, grotesque blob of a creature opened its mouth again, thick coagulated blood dripping out and making a horrid noise as it landed on the ground with a blop sound, the pool of blood growing and bubbling, the road under being eaten away by it as if it were some sort of acid. Its maw widened with red specks of light filtering into the middle and colliding, growing in size by the second as a ball of red light came into being before it shot outward, the ground under decaying, even the inorganic, as it rocketed towards Carter. His eye's narrowed as the demonic spell rushed toward him and he felt no choice but to release more of his own energy, his right index finger flicking the bell that hung from the bottom of the handle of his katana in his left hand, the bell's ringing noise picked up and grew outwards as energy from Carter infused with it and amp'd it up, the wave's colliding with the demonic spell mid flight. The ground under neath cracked and rotted away while the walls on both sides of the road caved in from the force of the collision and the demon spell and bell blast exploded, negating one another while a huge cloud of dust flew up and masked the area.
At first he thought it would be in his favor until a giant hand ripped out of the dust in front of him, the shadows from the dust making the demon faster. His blade went up and his right hand pushed on the flat back of the one sided blade as the hand part in two when coming in contact with the metal, up to the elbow. Hearing the beast scream in agony he wasted no time sending what he hoped would be a final blow, his right hand pointing at the out line of the demon's head int he dust "Hadō 4 - Byakurai" He whispered, energy crackling in his palm before a bolt of lightning shot out and through the skull of the creature, causing it to fall over, the power of the blast parting the dust cloud, exposing him to a horde of demons. He smiled before noticing only half were facing him, the other half having their backs to him and screaming coming from the far side.
Carter's white hair covered his eyes as his head lowered and he kicked off the ground, sprinting over the fallen creature before him and into the horde, his blade slicing through foes as he went, noticing they were easier than the one he had slain. After cutting through at least eight of the horde he threw his Zanpakutō into the air and it vanished as he kept running through, grabbing at the air before him with both hands, dull gray English broad swords would appear in his hands, he would lunge at foes getting the blades stuck deep with in them before releasing them and running on, repeating the process of pulling swords out of thin air and lodging them in the demons, paralyzing them as he went until he cut through his half of the horde and his Zanpakutō reappeared in the air before him, his left hand collecting it. His blue eyes looked on the man that appeared an ally while behind him the demons drowned on their own blood, paralyzed by the effect of his Zan's sealed power, Thousand Blade rain. He would sheath Nacuto before stepping forward, his right hand out. "Nice to see someone else out here, fighting the good fight." he said, noting the power level coming off of the man with a smile on his face.

This was it -- the time of war had arrived on the doorstep of the Soul Society. The gods themselves trembled in fear as the very skies turned to crimson and gold. Wave after after, storms of torrential and acidic rain melted everything in it's path. It sought to burn through steel, earth and flesh alike as if it were nothing more than butter. In a calamitous clash of thunder that was followed by a blinding red light, hellish explosions rang out that obliterated large chunks of the Western District. Whatever was occurring was big, as the gates of hades themselves were briefly shown in the sky as many demon's and Shinigami alike were dying off in droves. It was chaotic, it was daunting and this was what it meant to partake in a battle with the Demon God. That was the line of thought running through a lone girl's mind as she made her way through the non-stop downpour of death, destruction and decay. As the blaze from a purple exhaust flared from this raven haired girl's eyes, her black colored jacket and miniature skirt flapped briskly in the wind as she flew throughout the different districts slaughtering everything on her blade. Being pumped copious amounts of spiritual energy, a solidified sword of indigo hued flames was wielded within her hand. So with the weapon in hand, there would be few obstacles that stood in the girls way. Blood, guts and organs all slid off her body like a reflective field as she decapitated men, tore women in two and butchered children as if they were lambs for the slaughter. It was quite effortless on her hand, although she seemed to bare sadness behind those flaming eyes of hers.
Hazy memories dancing about the half-blood's mind as visions of her betrayal of trust from the Gotei 13 soon started playing out inside her The Grand Duchess's mind. Bloodied imagery of her squad-mates being offered as food to the demon's, she'd remember on her night when she sold her soul to the devil for the safe return of her parents spirits. More static playing out, a tear escaped the lone woman's face as flashbacks of her parents and fellow comrades from Earth pouring into her mind. Indeed, for their sakes, she sold her spirit to these satanic forces because they yielded the power to bring them all back. They were alive -- all of them -- thanks to this sacrifice of herself.
So she'd quiver with the utmost of anxiety of stepping forth into these grounds. It had been so many years since she stepped forth into the Soul Society, and to be so close to the base of the Gotei 13 brought much unsettled and unresolved feelings. Would those whom she had sent to their graves be avenged from those who remain of Squad Nine today? Could it be possible that the memories of her treachery were still even be relevant in light of all that has transpired in the world since that fateful day? Questions such as those rang throughout the forsaken death god's body as she kept burning all before her path to sinder. If it weren't for the faint trace of demonic life within this woman's blood, one would almost think of it as the genocide of her own kind. Assisting the beast-like race in the destruction of her native people was quite the sombering experience as her body shook from claiming so many spirits in such a short time.
Despite the impressive show, the straight forward approach of her entry into the battlegrounds of the Rukongai District would come to an abrupt halt. Near the two Shinigami males, the explosive sound of Saiko Mori's body being flung into a wall was echoed throughout the area. A colossal shinigami who stood at seven foot four hovered over the seemly fragile girl's body. Burly, bald and taking no nonsense from a traitorous Shinigami; he'd grit his teeth at the sight of this disgusting and vile creature before his feet. This male was one of those within the Thirteen Court Squads First Division whom had heard rumors of the putrid actions that this girl underwent so many years ago. Not believing his sights, he'd angrily smash his foot against her face as she emitted as a hurtled cry of pain.
In that show of strength, he'd make a comment about being unable to believe such a pitiful creature worked for the demon's; yet alone had the nerve to desert the soldiers of division one with such weak will. Seeming as if she were on the verge of crying at this point, Saiko wanted to hear nothing more of her past. What was done was done. There was nothing that the girl could do for those spirits given to those demonic beast. She only wanted her future and the people she loved to come back; even if it meant throwing herself into the abyss of the demon's nest. Thus, having that nail rigged in her head, the half blood was seen choking up in her voice as she tried to hide her sorrow as best she could.
Meanwhile, the respite from her flaming spiritual aura came to pass in a burst of indigo shaded fire. Sounds of sizzling sparks hissed any which way but right around the battlefield. In this fashion, Saiko had forged a dagger through her flames and pierced it through the males heart. Legs quivering, mouth feeling choked and eyes filled with tears; she'd then make a shift and hasty movement in order to turn the male's head to nothing but charred remains in the form of a blazing kick from her right leg. And like so many of the kills before, the extensive amount of fluid that drained from the man's body all but slid off the silent betrayer. All around the girl's feet there laid nothing but crimson liquid that signified the death of not yet another spirit to her.
Weeping still, the shaky hand of the The Grand Duchess soon wiped away the purple blood from her mouth and allowed the pain from the Shinigami's blow to seep in. The sensation of her spine chilling was a notable feeling as the half breed felt her head beginning to leak more of her vital fluids. In this time of pause, the comrades of Hitoshi and Carter started screaming words of "traitor", "killer", "witch", "demon slut", "murderer", "bitch" and all sorts of other obscenities in the air as a dozen Shinigami started storming the vicinity of the girl; even as their own bodies were burning from the toxic rain that befell them. Rage was truly a powerful emotion as they came at Saiko with everything they had.
Some were able to get a jab in at her sides, while others attempted to outright blast her out of the sky. In the dust of an orange explosion, Saiko took flight and the dozens of Shinigami all around her soon followed suit. At this point, her left eye then expanded and had dozens of spears crafted in the element of fire come flying out of her eye. No more pain, she wanted no more pain inflicted on her! So they all were solidified, hardened and resolved to pierce out their skulls, hearts, eyeballs, throats and intestines; making for a raining of flesh, bones, arteries and charred remains of what was once a lively force of men. In consequence, they gasped for life; but the air of death would only become them as their spirits ascended to the incarnation of death in the deepest pits of hell.
Yet, in spite of this terrible assault, there still remained one male with enough power left in him to deliver a hardened punch to the girl's face; having her cry out once more before she grabbed his wrist and consumed his entire body in fire. This resulted in the man outright shouting out in fear as he felt his entire being become nothing more than ash in the wind. He hollered for help, pleaded for assistance; but none would come in the frighted wrath of The Void Enigma. In another burst of fire, he'd be vaporized and his remains scattered out throughout the air.
One of the remaining forces muttered something for "Vice Captain Hiroshi" to help them. Setting her fire shaded eyes to the male, Saiko shook her head to make sure he understood his actions were all but futile. To which, at that point, the Grand Duchess would throw a shift dagger to his forehead that resulted in the ejection of the poor man's brain matter being spread in the air. Taking a soft inhale and exhale of breath, Saiko shook with apprehension as she so easily pulled the trigger and killed without restraint. Actions, that if a few decades ago, would of have been unheard of from the timid shadow of the first division. It was utter lunacy to watch this sheepish girl turn into such the murderer. Just how far had she fallen?
Not far enough, by her estimates anyway. Setting her sights to the likes of Squad One's supposed VC and another male of equal power near him, Saiko understood that they would soon become her enemies. So to that end? She'd forge a dome of purple and black fire all around the men regardless of rather or not they moved from their spot. Not wasting anytime, she'd then have the walls rapidly implode on them and turn into a colossal burst of destruction meant to gravely injure them. The intent was to begin inducing third degree burns across through body through the sheer heat alone. From there, the melting of their skin may become imminent as the fire intensified in it's fury.
Intermixing with the denseness of this girl's flare, the outright pressure alone was seemed to break bones, shatter organs and blind them as these fire were intense and unforgiving in their nature as they protected their master from certain harm. Therefore, they sought to suck the health right out of the males. Being infected with demon blood from The Royal Demon Family, these flames had an additional effect of draining and decaying the energy outright from the duo of males in order to further cripple them and render them weakened from her attacks. She was working in panic and didn't want to give them an ounce of room to move around.
So out of this reaction, she pulled out a black vile and injected the miasma of hell straight into her a body. Letting out a soft yelp of pain, the shinigami slayer's body shook and accepted the insertion of this force into it's core; reacting to the demon blood within and bolstering her abilities upwards of forty percent for the time being. To this end? The Half Breed then went on to move and twirl her hands about until a circle of one hundred spears were forged. Pointing their lethal tips towards the epicenter where the explosion was held, Saiko unleashed these deadly projectiles at the speeds of shunpo and sought to catch them by surprises; seeking to impale the the first division warriors all throughout their body. All the while, these weapons would explode into further burst of fire and seek to decay the Shinigami from the inside out; going on to spread all sorts of diseases meant to further poison and rot their bodies out in the bath of hellish flames that soared down upon them.
Once the deed there was done, Saiko was quite shaken up with the violence in her actions but understood they were needed to shield herself from harm. It is on that note that further protection from more pain would be needed as alerts of a mass assault from Captain Iriko of the Gotei 13 was on the horizon. Not wasting anytime, Saiko soon directed a good deal of her energy towards ensuring that at least half of the Rukongai District would be spared from the slime, bubbles and ice that roared down upon them. Through a good deal of her energy intermixing with the simultaneous release of remaining Shadow Fall Forces from the Shadow Throne's control being emitted into the air, the production of a purple dome was then forged in order to save them from that vile end.
Panting ever so slightly, The Void Enigma then turned her attention back to the burning inferno below her feet. The walls painted in blood, bodies sprawled throughout the landscape and the hellish aroma of death now crashing down; Saiko grabbed her head and started to shudder increasingly throughout her body. This is what she signed up for; the mission of a lifetime was being undergone on the sacrifice of her family and friends. So, to this end, she needed to see this through to the end despite her timid persona. Thus, she'd tighten the grab on her fire blade and await to see what would come of her attacks -- hoping -- praying -- that they were stunted at the very least. For the more they resisted? The more agony and anguish would befall Saiko's soul -- and she wanted no more of those feelings to befall her shoulders.
