Hiroshi shunpoed through the Seireitei after making his decision on which mission to take. He easily knew the routes which he needed to take in order to reach his destination with the quickest speed. Their seemed to be lower level demons set as scouts and trackers at each turn, but he easily left a scorched trail of demon remains while barreling through the ranks. He employed the most effective tactics only by using a little more strength per strike to increase his ability to tear through multiple enemies as he was traveling. This was different compared to the war he had just been through, but it was war never the less. The worst part of it though is that it was at his home. Attacking his friends and allies. He did not pretend that he was unaffected, but he instead removed it from the equation and focused into a fine edge in order carve them away from the soul society like a cancer from a body.

Reaching the Seireitei's wall with the door blown open he passed right through and went on to scout the area. He needed to save his allies, but he also knew he would have to do it in a way his Captain approved of. If he didn't then Tsubasa would be disappointed, and that was not allowed. Fortunately for him he had the perfect weapon to help release them. He drew Zanpakutō at the edge of the Western Rukongai and with a group of twelve demons just ahead of him. These bastards had the gull to try and take his home. So instead he decided to take their lives.

Hiroshi took hold of the hilt of his Zanpakutō and as he pulled upon it releasing it from it's sheath an immense he resonated from it which scorched the ground and began to burn away the nature and melt the buildings around him. With his energy slowly rising the demons immediately noticed his presence. For Hiroshi it didn't matter who noticed him from where, because it was only a matter of time until he wiped every demon from the face of the Western Rukongai.

With a moment of pause Hiroshi stopped and began to stare down the demons whom had begun to charge him and in a moment after a slightly tighter clinch to the grip of his sword he stepped forward and shunpoed directly in front of them slicing his blade horizontally and halving the first two demons with ease followed by ducking to dodge the charged attack of two demons and spinning all the way around cutting through each demon at their mid sections.

It wasn't until this moment he had realized how much stronger he had gotten moving forward with quick and precise strikes he finished the rest of the group in a matter of seconds. He knew this was only the beginning, but he was ready to face an army if it meant saving his allies.

Demons had littered the streets, running rampant and killing without order. If they saw a person, they killed them, if not they looked for a person to kill. It was simple for these disgustingly simple creatures. Carter had been sent by his captain to help in what ways he could in this district. He'd been fighting on his own for the better part of three hours, having not really met with any allies causing him to worry that he may be alone here or that those he was meant to meet up with met an untimely end before he could assist. He had a secret hope though that the others were just spread out, making a wide grid through the district where the could deal with a large scale of enemies easily yet still call for help if need be.

In fact he was so deep in this thought he barely missed a blast of energy from a demon he hadn't noticed. He'd been on this one road now for a good 15 minutes fighting the horde, but they kept coming until about 20 seconds ago when the road cleared out and he thought he had had killed them all but they merely had adapted and found a new way, knowing rushing the Shinigami wouldn't be an effective tactic. One fat, grotesque blob of a creature opened its mouth again, thick coagulated blood dripping out and making a horrid noise as it landed on the ground with a blop sound, the pool of blood growing and bubbling, the road under being eaten away by it as if it were some sort of acid. Its maw widened with red specks of light filtering into the middle and colliding, growing in size by the second as a ball of red light came into being before it shot outward, the ground under decaying, even the inorganic, as it rocketed towards Carter. His eye's narrowed as the demonic spell rushed toward him and he felt no choice but to release more of his own energy, his right index finger flicking the bell that hung from the bottom of the handle of his katana in his left hand, the bell's ringing noise picked up and grew outwards as energy from Carter infused with it and amp'd it up, the wave's colliding with the demonic spell mid flight. The ground under neath cracked and rotted away while the walls on both sides of the road caved in from the force of the collision and the demon spell and bell blast exploded, negating one another while a huge cloud of dust flew up and masked the area.

At first he thought it would be in his favor until a giant hand ripped out of the dust in front of him, the shadows from the dust making the demon faster. His blade went up and his right hand pushed on the flat back of the one sided blade as the hand part in two when coming in contact with the metal, up to the elbow. Hearing the beast scream in agony he wasted no time sending what he hoped would be a final blow, his right hand pointing at the out line of the demon's head int he dust "Hadō 4 - Byakurai" He whispered, energy crackling in his palm before a bolt of lightning shot out and through the skull of the creature, causing it to fall over, the power of the blast parting the dust cloud, exposing him to a horde of demons. He smiled before noticing only half were facing him, the other half having their backs to him and screaming coming from the far side.

Carter's white hair covered his eyes as his head lowered and he kicked off the ground, sprinting over the fallen creature before him and into the horde, his blade slicing through foes as he went, noticing they were easier than the one he had slain. After cutting through at least eight of the horde he threw his Zanpakutō into the air and it vanished as he kept running through, grabbing at the air before him with both hands, dull gray English broad swords would appear in his hands, he would lunge at foes getting the blades stuck deep with in them before releasing them and running on, repeating the process of pulling swords out of thin air and lodging them in the demons, paralyzing them as he went until he cut through his half of the horde and his Zanpakutō reappeared in the air before him, his left hand collecting it. His blue eyes looked on the man that appeared an ally while behind him the demons drowned on their own blood, paralyzed by the effect of his Zan's sealed power, Thousand Blade rain. He would sheath Nacuto before stepping forward, his right hand out. "Nice to see someone else out here, fighting the good fight." he said, noting the power level coming off of the man with a smile on his face.

Artist: Hatsune Miku - Song: ノコギリとペンデュラム - Word Count: 2211
This was it -- the time of war had arrived on the doorstep of the Soul Society. The gods themselves trembled in fear as the very skies turned to crimson and gold. Wave after after, storms of torrential and acidic rain melted everything in it's path. It sought to burn through steel, earth and flesh alike as if it were nothing more than butter. In a calamitous clash of thunder that was followed by a blinding red light, hellish explosions rang out that obliterated large chunks of the Western District. Whatever was occurring was big, as the gates of hades themselves were briefly shown in the sky as many demon's and Shinigami alike were dying off in droves. It was chaotic, it was daunting and this was what it meant to partake in a battle with the Demon God. That was the line of thought running through a lone girl's mind as she made her way through the non-stop downpour of death, destruction and decay.

As the blaze from a purple exhaust flared from this raven haired girl's eyes, her black colored jacket and miniature skirt flapped briskly in the wind as she flew throughout the different districts slaughtering everything on her blade. Being pumped copious amounts of spiritual energy, a solidified sword of indigo hued flames was wielded within her hand. So with the weapon in hand, there would be few obstacles that stood in the girls way. Blood, guts and organs all slid off her body like a reflective field as she decapitated men, tore women in two and butchered children as if they were lambs for the slaughter. It was quite effortless on her hand, although she seemed to bare sadness behind those flaming eyes of hers.

Hazy memories dancing about the half-blood's mind as visions of her betrayal of trust from the Gotei 13 soon started playing out inside her The Grand Duchess's mind. Bloodied imagery of her squad-mates being offered as food to the demon's, she'd remember on her night when she sold her soul to the devil for the safe return of her parents spirits. More static playing out, a tear escaped the lone woman's face as flashbacks of her parents and fellow comrades from Earth pouring into her mind. Indeed, for their sakes, she sold her spirit to these satanic forces because they yielded the power to bring them all back. They were alive -- all of them -- thanks to this sacrifice of herself.

So she'd quiver with the utmost of anxiety of stepping forth into these grounds. It had been so many years since she stepped forth into the Soul Society, and to be so close to the base of the Gotei 13 brought much unsettled and unresolved feelings. Would those whom she had sent to their graves be avenged from those who remain of Squad Nine today? Could it be possible that the memories of her treachery were still even be relevant in light of all that has transpired in the world since that fateful day? Questions such as those rang throughout the forsaken death god's body as she kept burning all before her path to sinder. If it weren't for the faint trace of demonic life within this woman's blood, one would almost think of it as the genocide of her own kind. Assisting the beast-like race in the destruction of her native people was quite the sombering experience as her body shook from claiming so many spirits in such a short time.

Despite the impressive show, the straight forward approach of her entry into the battlegrounds of the Rukongai District would come to an abrupt halt. Near the two Shinigami males, the explosive sound of Saiko Mori's body being flung into a wall was echoed throughout the area. A colossal shinigami who stood at seven foot four hovered over the seemly fragile girl's body. Burly, bald and taking no nonsense from a traitorous Shinigami; he'd grit his teeth at the sight of this disgusting and vile creature before his feet. This male was one of those within the Thirteen Court Squads First Division whom had heard rumors of the putrid actions that this girl underwent so many years ago. Not believing his sights, he'd angrily smash his foot against her face as she emitted as a hurtled cry of pain.

In that show of strength, he'd make a comment about being unable to believe such a pitiful creature worked for the demon's; yet alone had the nerve to desert the soldiers of division one with such weak will. Seeming as if she were on the verge of crying at this point, Saiko wanted to hear nothing more of her past. What was done was done. There was nothing that the girl could do for those spirits given to those demonic beast. She only wanted her future and the people she loved to come back; even if it meant throwing herself into the abyss of the demon's nest. Thus, having that nail rigged in her head, the half blood was seen choking up in her voice as she tried to hide her sorrow as best she could.

Meanwhile, the respite from her flaming spiritual aura came to pass in a burst of indigo shaded fire. Sounds of sizzling sparks hissed any which way but right around the battlefield. In this fashion, Saiko had forged a dagger through her flames and pierced it through the males heart. Legs quivering, mouth feeling choked and eyes filled with tears; she'd then make a shift and hasty movement in order to turn the male's head to nothing but charred remains in the form of a blazing kick from her right leg. And like so many of the kills before, the extensive amount of fluid that drained from the man's body all but slid off the silent betrayer. All around the girl's feet there laid nothing but crimson liquid that signified the death of not yet another spirit to her.

Weeping still, the shaky hand of the The Grand Duchess soon wiped away the purple blood from her mouth and allowed the pain from the Shinigami's blow to seep in. The sensation of her spine chilling was a notable feeling as the half breed felt her head beginning to leak more of her vital fluids. In this time of pause, the comrades of Hitoshi and Carter started screaming words of "traitor", "killer", "witch", "demon slut", "murderer", "bitch" and all sorts of other obscenities in the air as a dozen Shinigami started storming the vicinity of the girl; even as their own bodies were burning from the toxic rain that befell them. Rage was truly a powerful emotion as they came at Saiko with everything they had.

Some were able to get a jab in at her sides, while others attempted to outright blast her out of the sky. In the dust of an orange explosion, Saiko took flight and the dozens of Shinigami all around her soon followed suit. At this point, her left eye then expanded and had dozens of spears crafted in the element of fire come flying out of her eye. No more pain, she wanted no more pain inflicted on her! So they all were solidified, hardened and resolved to pierce out their skulls, hearts, eyeballs, throats and intestines; making for a raining of flesh, bones, arteries and charred remains of what was once a lively force of men. In consequence, they gasped for life; but the air of death would only become them as their spirits ascended to the incarnation of death in the deepest pits of hell.

Yet, in spite of this terrible assault, there still remained one male with enough power left in him to deliver a hardened punch to the girl's face; having her cry out once more before she grabbed his wrist and consumed his entire body in fire. This resulted in the man outright shouting out in fear as he felt his entire being become nothing more than ash in the wind. He hollered for help, pleaded for assistance; but none would come in the frighted wrath of The Void Enigma. In another burst of fire, he'd be vaporized and his remains scattered out throughout the air.

One of the remaining forces muttered something for "Vice Captain Hiroshi" to help them. Setting her fire shaded eyes to the male, Saiko shook her head to make sure he understood his actions were all but futile. To which, at that point, the Grand Duchess would throw a shift dagger to his forehead that resulted in the ejection of the poor man's brain matter being spread in the air. Taking a soft inhale and exhale of breath, Saiko shook with apprehension as she so easily pulled the trigger and killed without restraint. Actions, that if a few decades ago, would of have been unheard of from the timid shadow of the first division. It was utter lunacy to watch this sheepish girl turn into such the murderer. Just how far had she fallen?

Not far enough, by her estimates anyway. Setting her sights to the likes of Squad One's supposed VC and another male of equal power near him, Saiko understood that they would soon become her enemies. So to that end? She'd forge a dome of purple and black fire all around the men regardless of rather or not they moved from their spot. Not wasting anytime, she'd then have the walls rapidly implode on them and turn into a colossal burst of destruction meant to gravely injure them. The intent was to begin inducing third degree burns across through body through the sheer heat alone. From there, the melting of their skin may become imminent as the fire intensified in it's fury.

Intermixing with the denseness of this girl's flare, the outright pressure alone was seemed to break bones, shatter organs and blind them as these fire were intense and unforgiving in their nature as they protected their master from certain harm. Therefore, they sought to suck the health right out of the males. Being infected with demon blood from The Royal Demon Family, these flames had an additional effect of draining and decaying the energy outright from the duo of males in order to further cripple them and render them weakened from her attacks. She was working in panic and didn't want to give them an ounce of room to move around.

So out of this reaction, she pulled out a black vile and injected the miasma of hell straight into her a body. Letting out a soft yelp of pain, the shinigami slayer's body shook and accepted the insertion of this force into it's core; reacting to the demon blood within and bolstering her abilities upwards of forty percent for the time being. To this end? The Half Breed then went on to move and twirl her hands about until a circle of one hundred spears were forged. Pointing their lethal tips towards the epicenter where the explosion was held, Saiko unleashed these deadly projectiles at the speeds of shunpo and sought to catch them by surprises; seeking to impale the the first division warriors all throughout their body. All the while, these weapons would explode into further burst of fire and seek to decay the Shinigami from the inside out; going on to spread all sorts of diseases meant to further poison and rot their bodies out in the bath of hellish flames that soared down upon them.

Once the deed there was done, Saiko was quite shaken up with the violence in her actions but understood they were needed to shield herself from harm. It is on that note that further protection from more pain would be needed as alerts of a mass assault from Captain Iriko of the Gotei 13 was on the horizon. Not wasting anytime, Saiko soon directed a good deal of her energy towards ensuring that at least half of the Rukongai District would be spared from the slime, bubbles and ice that roared down upon them. Through a good deal of her energy intermixing with the simultaneous release of remaining Shadow Fall Forces from the Shadow Throne's control being emitted into the air, the production of a purple dome was then forged in order to save them from that vile end.

Panting ever so slightly, The Void Enigma then turned her attention back to the burning inferno below her feet. The walls painted in blood, bodies sprawled throughout the landscape and the hellish aroma of death now crashing down; Saiko grabbed her head and started to shudder increasingly throughout her body. This is what she signed up for; the mission of a lifetime was being undergone on the sacrifice of her family and friends. So, to this end, she needed to see this through to the end despite her timid persona. Thus, she'd tighten the grab on her fire blade and await to see what would come of her attacks -- hoping -- praying -- that they were stunted at the very least. For the more they resisted? The more agony and anguish would befall Saiko's soul -- and she wanted no more of those feelings to befall her shoulders.

Kyouhai Suzumori

Soul Society was at war. All around the dimension that was supposed to be the peaceful place where human souls came to rest in peace after death, battle raged. Seiretei, the place that most Shinigami called home, was taking the worst of it. There, the most powerful beings on both sides were fighting. Captains were supposed to be fighting off Espada-class Arrancar and very powerful Demons there. But this was not an invasion from Hueco Mundo, as the presence of Demons showed quite clearly. This was something else entirely. Though most Shinigami didn't know of this, Soul Society was under attack by an organization known as Shadow Fall that was comprised of Demons and Arrancar working together to wreak havoc on everyone else. Basically, they were your classic villain group.

Kyouhai Suzumori, a member of the Seventh Division, was one of the Shinigami that was supposed to be fighting to stop this. However, he was not in the Seiretei. His Captain's orders had bee for him to fight in the Rukongai and keep any further enemy advances out of the Seiretei. Kyouhai knew that even at the full extent of his power, which he kept hidden, he would be unable to defeat the types of enemies fighting his Captains in the Seiretei, so he agreed to obey the orders to fight in Rukongai. Upon first departing Seiretei, Kyouhai didn't have any trouble deciding what section of the Rukongai he'd be heading to. Not much was going on in the South or East, and there was no fighting in the North. Naturally, only the West was left. That was also probably the place that was experiencing the most fighting.

When Kyouhai first arrived in Western Rukongai, he decided to keep his full abilities hidden for now. Besides, suppressing his Reiatsu also made it easier to move without being detected by the numerous Hollows that were here with the enemy Arrancar. At first, low-level Hollows were Kyouhai's only opponents. Even with most of his energy suppressed, he cut these down with a few quick strokes of his Zanpakutō. That was one advantage of having a huge nodachi as your Zanpakutō like Kyouhai did. When fighting small, low-level Hollows or similar opponents, you could cut down several of them with one strike. THe flash of gold as Kyouhai's black and gold nodachi Zanpakutō slashed through the air was the very last thing many Hollows saw that day. "Am I gonna spend all day fighting a bunch of weak Hollows, or is this gonna actually get interesting??" wondered Kyouhai.

Almost as soon as Kyouhai finished his thought, the sky seemed to crack open. It was a low-level Garganta, or portal to Hueco Mundo, being used most likely by an Adjuchas or Gillian. Suddenly, the crack in the sky expanded, ripping open a huge section of blue sky. A large number of Gillian along with what looked to be several Adjuchas came out and began to spread out through Western Rukongai even as the massive Garganta they'd opened closed up. It was very likely that a strong Arrancar around here had summoned them. "Hey, Kyouhai, you might wanna stop suppressing your power now..." said a voice in Kyouhai's mind. It was Kyokuryuu, his Zanpakutō spirit. "I was thinking the exact same thing, Kyokuryuu," replied Kyouhai mentally. Lime-green energy flared up around Kyouhai's body, and anyone weaker than him in the vicinity would have felt a pressure weighing down on them like they were at the bottom of a deep swimming pool. From here on in, Kyouhai was fighting at full strength.

It didn't take him long to find a few of the Gillian that had been released into Rukongai. Kyouhai used his Shunpo to attack the huge, black Hollows' masks and heads, taking advantage of the fact that his enemies were very slow. All in all, he cut down five or six Gillian. But still, there were more. Now they began to fire Cero at Kyouhai. "You know, I really hate you guys sometimes!" said Kyouhai aloud to the Gillian even though he knew that it was very likely none of them understood him. Even if they did, they'd be unable to respond. Suddenly, three Gillian fired their Cero at him at the exact same time. "Shit..." thought Kyouhai, knowing he had maybe seven or eight seconds to react. Working out the angles, he swung his blade, releasing a burst of yellow energy. It wasn't enough to stop all three Cero, but it was enough to hold them back for just long enough to let him escape. From there, he released three similar bursts of energy, ending the lives of the Gillian who's just fired the Cero blasts.

There weren't any more Hollows to fight, but Kyouhai felt another Reiatsu in the area. It belonged to an Arrancar. Locating the Arrancar wasn't too hard; it had already found Kyouhai and was coming to attack him. "YOU'RE DEAD, SHINIGAMI!!" the Arrancar yelled, slashing out at Kyouhai with its sword. Kyouhai parried the blow and struck with his nodachi. With a sound like a sonic boom, the Arrancar vanished, only to reappear closer to Kyouhai in an attempt to slash him again. The enemy's Sonído was fast, but he'd seriously underestimated Kyouhai. Kyouhai parried the strike yet again. Using Shunpo, he then slashed deeply into the Arrancar's side with the golden blade of his nodachi Zanpakutō. An orb of green energy appeared in the Arrancar's palm, growing bigger by the second. This was a Cero that should definitely be taken seriously. Kyouhai raised his palm. "Hadō number thirty-three..." he began, waiting for the Cero to be fired.

The orb became a beam of green energy, blasting in Kyouhai's direction. But he was ready. "...Soukatsui!!" he yelled, sending a wave of blue flame smashing into the Cero blast. Blue and green energy met in a violent explosion as both attacks cancelled each other out. Taking advantage of the distraction, Kyouhai brought down the cutting edge of his nodachi on the Arrancar's neck, severing its head. Even as the dead Arrancar fell, its head rolling a few feet away before bumping into the side of a wooden building, Kyouhai felt a burst of Reiatsu indicating another fight. But how strange... all of the Reiatsu involved in the clash seemed to belong to Shinigami. Having lived for over 1,400 years, Kyouhai came to a conclusion about what was going on very quickly. "There's a traitor here!" he thought. Using Shunpo, he set off toward the confrontation as quickly as he could.

What he found there was not good. Dozens of weaker Shinigami were dead, though the two other Reiatsu he'd felt earlier were still going strong. However, it seemed that they were both on the ground, hit by some sort of enemy attack. Kyouhai was shocked to see that one of them was the First Division's Vice-Captain. That meant the person he'd be fighting in a matter of moments was pretty strong. The extent of Kyouhai's comrades' injuries was as of right now unclear. However, the Shinigami who'd been giving off the third Reiatsu was unharmed. She, therefore, had to be the traitor. Kyouhai looked at her. She was a rather short, female being, but appearance had nothing to do with power. Even from the traces of her Reiatsu left over from the earlier fighting, Kyouhai could tell she was easily on nearly the same level as him. She could even be stronger.

Using Shunpo, Kyouhai moved toward the female traitor Shinigami. He stopped about fifteen feet away from her, knowing that keeping his distance might be helpful against someone whose abilities he didn't know. Lifting up his nodachi Zanpakutō, Kyouhai let the harmless back edge of the five-foot blade rest against the black of his neck as he looked the traitor directly in the eye. Lime-green Reiatsu began to crackle around Kyouhai's body as he prepared to fight. "Hey, traitor bitch! Cutting down the ones weaker than you doesn't impress anyone. Why don't you come mess around with someone your own power level?!" yelled Kyouhai at his new enemy. It was time to do his part in the Gotei 13's battle against its enemies, and it seemed that his first opponent was going to be a fellow Shinigami...

West District Rukongai (Operation Demonic Incursion) Empty Re: West District Rukongai (Operation Demonic Incursion)

It was a massacre, and it took all of his strength to not go berserk upon this field. Watching in the few brief moments as his comrades were slaughter his grip became tightened and his face fierce. He wished to kill her and destroy every enemy within his reach, but as he wished this Soudai, his Zanpakutō spirit who was a giant lion with a flowing mane, appeared to his left and in a low booming voice said

"CALM YOURSELF HIROSHI."

His blood boiled and it seemed as if he was in a trance, but this voice awoke him as Soudai placed his giant paw upon Hiroshi's head.

"I know it hurts, but don't let it overcome you. Remember what your Master taught you and read your heart. Channel this from rage into focus. Don't disgrace their lives. Honor them"

Then with one deep breath his grip loosened and he became focused. As spears rained down upon his allies he flipped his Zanpakutō to where its tip was facing the ground in his left hand and the engraved cross on his Zanpakutō lit with a small white fire.

"Protect All, Soudai."

Hiroshi then hit the bottom of the hilt with his palm and when he did the white fire engulfed Soudai. Hiroshi using his right hand he took the hilt of Soudai and slashes the sword starting in the upper left position and coming down to the bottom right once he does that the flame is extinguished and the blade is changed.

The hilt became circular and black and is the middle of the bottom of the blade and has the cross still engraved at the bottom but it is lit by a extremely small white flame. The blade is now longer going from Hiroshi's chest down to his foot making it around 5 feet 7 Inches tall. The blade was now 8 inches wide and the thickness was now 1/2 inch compared to a full inch. The blades color now was pure white. Also the guard is now a lions head which appears to be biting the blade. It also still keeps the four small holes which are at the back of the blade near the hilt. White fire poured out from the blade along with an immense heat. The fire was special to Hiroshi, because it embraced his allies warmly, but his enemies oppositely.

Just as his comrades last words left his mouth Hiroshi's body was engulfed in white fire and he shot forward full speed with an added propulsion that increased his speed with his fire acting like a jet engine shooting behind him. With both hands on Soudai's hilt and the blade over his right shoulder, but as he approached the enemy with intense speed a dome of sinister looking fire encompassed the area in front of him and rose. Hiroshi could not let her go so he had to change his tactic. He channeled his fire onto surrounding his blade and slammed it to where the barrier met the ground using his momentum and the fire he created a massive concussive fire explosion which was 50 feet in radius. Assuming the young women was somewhere close on the outside the blast would engulf her with his white fire and send her flying backwards with the concussive force. He tried using the opening to escape, but the explosion covered the back of his body causing burns to spur across it. He quickly produced his own fire to purge that which had covered his back as he had dropped to a knee, but as he looked up he realized that she was summoning many projectiles in order to attack him. He couldn't block them all and to add onto it he had been injured so he had to dodge all he could. So he kicked off the ground and shunpoed himself as far as he could to his left to avoid the attack while holding his blade vertically towards the spears which blocked a spear but sent him rolling as it exploded on contact

His enemy was clearly stronger, but he could not lose. For his men and for the 1st Division. He noticed she had focused her energies at the moment to blocking the incoming blasts so all he could do for this moment was collect himself and hope for his comrades safety.

It hadn't taken long for the two shinigamis to get noticed by a larger force, even with Carter's angelic spiritual pressure that actually masked itself making him appear 100&% powerless to enemies. That being said he was still suited in shinigami battle attire and wielded a viceroy longsword that could be nothing other than a Zanpakutō. He looked at a dust cloud that appeared as the new enemy was slammed into a wall near the two men by another, larger shinigami. One of his own division. He turned his back, to make sure they weren't being flanked, and in that second the large shinigami's spirit pressure vanished forcing him to face where he had seen the male. A pile of ash shifted through the wind, coming off the stump of the man's neck where a head had recently rested.

The woman's leg was still descending from her kick after parting the man's head from his shoulders. He stood shocked at the power needed for a move like that before he heard sizzling noises all around him. Rain was coating the battlefield and burning the ground and all those it touched. His right cheek was stung by the rain and he winced slightly before his right hand went to his forehead and he muttered, "Millon Escudo" A hexagon shaped shield appearing above Carter's head, like a large hat that would cover his body when standing still, every time a rain drop landed on it. He looked up at the tow men fighting the traitor shinigami, "Copy my move or lose your energy!" He yelled at them, looking mighty silly with the large shield on his head.

He then looked to the girl and felt something wrong inside her, something that would oppose everything inside him. She was tainted with the blood of demons, her shinigami side was still the larger side but she had enough of the taint inside her. His eyes fixed on her face and saw nothing but pain and shame, shame in herself for what she was doing, pain that she was doing it. She doesn't want to do this.... he thought timidly before her hand came out and a gigantic dome appeared where she waved, the sky being covered by the purple and black shaped creation, Carter and the other two men being locked in. She might not want to do this but I can't sit by and let her kill us. He thought, finding himself split before closing his eyes and opening them again, in that split second his shape had changed. He had grown a foot and his chest had widened out, where his battle robes had been armor of an ancient knight now rested, wings of light stretched out from his shoulder blades, each spanning fourteen feet, his hair grew down and his eyes changed coloring, no longer gray but a dazzling sapphire blue. He had been forced to take on his angel form, one only used in times of great need. A shield of pure light appeared on his right arm, large and round, the light would spin endlessly in the shield while Carter looked at the woman, his left hand pointing in her direction, his sword tip pointed there. Light would pour out of the Zanpakutō and speed at her, veering at the last second and encasing his two allies, making their defenses rise up (two levels since this is vs a demon attack) before the fire erupted around them all.

Carter closed his eyes as the light bathed him as well, along with Clara Clipeus, the ability for his race only that provided extra protection from demonic attacks only. The light would help grant a boon to Carter's natural defense indefinitely against demonic attacks. His eyes would open welcoming a herald of demonic spears in, he would light step coming from in front of the attack to right behind it dodging the hundred spears as he moved at the speed of light itself. With his sword still pointed toward the girl, "Hadō 4 - Byakurai" He ordered before the lightning shot out, not hitting the girl but going between her and his two allies, causing a halt. "You don't have to do this. The demon taint can be over come. he said from his distance, his voice sounding deep and reassuring now as he hung in the air from his wings of light.

Still he stood ready for her to attack, his left hand firmly holding Nacuto while his right forearm rose up, his shield of light shining as he floated, his feet hanging in the air under him. The heat of the dome pushing down on him and very slowly draining him now do to his double enhanced defense where before he would have been unconscious by now. "I can purge the taint from you, please don't make this fight continue." he asked, his voice sounding as if he understood her pain. "No more death...." He kept looking at her face trying to picture why she seemed familiar to him.

Artist: Yousei Teikoku - Song: Herrscher - Word Count: 3070
Explosions, flames and more burst of energy bellowed out throughout the battlefield. Things were heating up in this war and it showed no scenes of stopping anytime soon. Thus, as the commotion was reaching a boiling point in this battle of Angel's, Demon's and Death God's; it seemed one of the first responders to The Void Enigma's attacks was already on the scene -- and he seemed rather displeased to say the least. Face twitching somewhat in response the booming and disheartening voice of the male, those purple eyes of Saiko's glazed over to the location where she saw a bizarre, green hued energy coming into the vicinity. In response to this brash threat, bold words and hostile actions? The Demonic Shinigami's own indigo shaded reiatsu started to flare up and begin to spread out throughout the vicinity as she started to feel the thorns of death slowly constricting around her. Indeed, she was being surrounding by all ends and this was most likely going to turn into a battle of numbers.

It is at this moment that a warm sensation all but crept up the spine of The Demon Reaper as her breaths became more shallow. Yes, her body felt as if it were nothing but liquid. But -- the thing about fluid objects were that they could become anything. Water could be nothing more than a harmless refreshment when contained in a glass, but it could morph into an unrestricted and lethal wave of death when pushed and cranked to the utmost extreme in the form of a crushing tidal wave. In the case of Saiko Mori? As her anxiety started to skyrocket, the chances of her turning into a tsunami wave of liquid carnage was all but going to come out soon enough. Limbs were shaking, voice crackling, eyes shaking and sweat was oozing as white steam slowly exhaled from her mouth as she locked visual contact with The Shinigami Before her.

Just -- what was this male hollering about? They were going to kill her...it was self defense! Surely he understood that, right? As heart pumped faster and harder, Saiko's breath started to become more rapid as the girl felt the panic of that night beginning to flashes back to her. The blood of her comrades soaked her vision, the screams of betrayal pierced her soul and the sorrow she felt for having to make such a choice still impacted her psyche. So as the scenes of bloodshed rolled on by once more in her present, she could only feel trapped and confined as it was apparent what this male thought of her. Wanting to butcher the weak? Impress others with her power? Those were notions that were all but foregone in the mind of Saiko. All she was doing -- was her job. Nothing more, nothing less. If no one had raised a single finger against her -- there would not have been any bloodshed! Didn't he understand that!? They signed their own death contract...that is what she convinced herself to ease this fear, this terror and uneasiness that clenched around her neck like an unforgiving noose.

"I-i d-d-didn't want that....they were in the way....I a-am s-sorry...s-so sorry....but I can't l-let this go on. I'm not a traitor...I just......" Speaking in a very low whimper and shaken tone, it was apparent there were many things going on within this child's mind. So as she began holding her head and wiping away the ear from her right eye, she made these gestures with out of spite...to herself . Thrashing her head from side to side, The Reaper mimic'd the internal actions of tossing the very notion of reasoning to the wayside. What humanity did this shinigami have anyway? The male was like all the rest -- those gleaming eyes of anger, disgust and intent to kill were all that he knew. Those were the only three things that he thought of her and it was senseless to fight people like that with words.

"GET HER!"

That was all the confirmation The Silent Killer needed to fade her emotions to the back seat. For from behind there were many sorts of Shinigami charging at her with rage, hate and outright murderous intent. They wanted her dead, obliterated and torn to sunder -- and she couldn't have that. She wanted to live, she needed to fulfil her duty and these people...couldn't get in her way. So in a hurtful yelp, rows of sharpened spires ejected out of the pale girl's rear side and sought to impale roughly twelve dozen Shinigami. Upon impact? These clusters of energized weaponry soon turned into bombs and caused further destruction for one hundred meters as the area became blinded by this light and tears started streaming down both of the Demon Reaper's eyes; the flame to her left all but dying out temporarily until she remembered she was here...to fight.

So in a quick gasp of air, the gears had shifted into motion with Saiko and the shinigami known as Kyouhai Suzumori was in her sights. Without a single warning, nor nary an incantation, thousands of bullets comprised from The Grand Duchess's DE Force started to take form RAPIDLY around the 7th division fighter; giving him little room or reaction time when they were produced. Swiftly going into action after that, these projectiles seemed to have a purple shine to them before being overdriven with this potent energy and slamming into the male at supersonic speeds. In the wake of this? A sonic-boom was produced in order to deafen him. As this would in-turn destroy his inner-eardrums, while Saiko was busy solidifying reiatsu within her own ear to form as a sound-proof barrier.

More than that, it seemed that the boom itself could crack bones, rupture organs and send a great deal of force upon Kyouhai's body to very well leave him on the ground writhing in pain. And as it expanded for up to a three hundred meter radius, everyone within the vicinity would more than likely be caught up with it and experience the same effects. It blew away buildings, decimated the corpses of the men left behind and flung bodies every which way but right as she disposed of thousands of men; both shinigami and demon alike in this wake of power. Through this havoc and mass murder, chills were flowing down Saiko's body as the gleam behind her eyes grew brighter and her body shook further as she felt these lives fading with the bang. But -- still -- she must proceed to the very end!

So, to that point, the bullets themselves could very well impale multiple portions of the male's body. Depending on his defenses, this could end very nasty for him. Most of the bullets, however, were aimed from the neck dead as she still seemed to be holding back. Thus, her intent was to disarm him by gravely wounding him. In this blitzkrieg assault, perhaps she'd even blow off a limb or two to bring him down to his knees and stop his pursuit of her. Although, if that didn't get him -- the DE Force would in her mind. It sought to eat at his skin like a virus and breakdown his body. This power sought to deplete the wealth of spiritual energy within Kyouhai to lower his effectiveness with special ability or kido based attacks judging from his assault against a rogue Arrancar that was monitored by Shadow Fall intel and relied to Saiko's mind. What's more, with the drain on his internal energy, exhaustion could set in and just moving around may very well tire the male out as she sought for this force to suck the very life out of him until he was rendered silent -- rather by KO or death

Letting out a sigh due to exuding that much energy, a purple shaded smoke poured out of Saiko's body and she soon turned her attention towards the next target: The Vice Captain of Squad One. Sensing that the male more than likely transformed into his shikai at this point, there was nothing but a soft exhale as The Demon Reaper's own energy seemed to amp up and multiply as she tapped further into her power in the wake of this destruction. If the boy wanted to put his life on the line? Fine. She wanted him to stay down, she wanted him to just play dead; but he wasn't having any of that and was surely marching to his own fine grave.

Regardless of rather or not the male was still hellbent on following Saiko to the ends of the earth proceeding that lethal sonic boom, she'd prepare her countermeasures as a burst of fire shot off from outside the dome she placed the two males in during her first assault. Despite the fact he sent a great cluster of white flames towards the woman's frontal side, Saiko's reaction time was superb and sought to lessen the blow of his attack. Thus? Her own overpowering purple inferno sought to swiftly produce enough firepower at the last moment in order to make seventy five percent of his attack nulled; only allowing a quarter of it's effectiveness to hit her hide in the form of slight burn marks, scratches and briefly being hurled a few feet from her original position.

"Y-you....need.....m-more....t-t-then that.....to stop me.....just give up and walk away....please."

There was a great stutter in her voice; sounding almost fragile if it weren't for the fact she just coated this entire landscape in death and debris. Nevertheless, dusting off the dirt from her clothes and skin from that concollsion, Saiko spoke in nothing more than a whisper as she wanted him to desist in this futile effort. The skills between the two of them were too large in the mind of The Reaper and it would only end in tragedy if he kept pushing his luck. So to break him, to stop him and to cease his desire to die -- Saiko would continue forward with her attacks against him. One way or another...it had to end!

Henceforth, with her energy already seeping inside of the male from her former attacks, she sought to increase the heart rate within the male. By injecting the residue left from her former attack, The Demon Reaper was able to more than likely pierce inward into the Vice Captain's body. From there? It would spread like a virus. Inducing one of the first effects that could be produced by increasing the heat in his body in order to fry his nervous system and leave the unfortunate soul paralyzed for a day -- if allowed to take full effect. By increasing the strain on his body and breaking down organs further through usage of her DE Force, things such as kidney failure could rapidly come to fruition in order to induce nausea, vomiting, confusion, tiredness and eventually fainting due to critical strain on the male's body. When added in the combination of this source attempting to decay his supply of spiritual energy, the probable scenario may very well end in a KO -- which was her ultimate intent behind all this.

With one final push, she'd then wipe the sweat from her own forehead and then fire off a purple shaded energy blast meant to send Hiorshi flying like a raggedy-an doll. This blast would have a devastating force upon impact that could crush every bone in his body with the pressure behind it, while the heat could very well melt through his skin and the overall intent was to increase and multiply the effect of all of her assaults placed on his body up until this point with it. Having enough strength behind the actual explosion itself to rival an Espada's cero, this should hopefully do the trick to putting an end to any further resistance from the male as Saiko panted due to intense psychological stress and because of the fact she was using so much DE combined with the minor injuries she has sustained during this entire infantry.

Yet -- it was far from over. The third male in the group was becoming his go at cracking at the demonic Shinigami and there certainly seemed to be a holy aura emanating within her. From the trace particles of The Demon God's blood in her, Saiko's sensory and detection skills were able to at least pick up that faint aura from him. This meant that she needed to keep a close watch on the Angelic Figure before her. While, sure, her genetic make-up wasn't fully demon; there was still enough of it within her to make anything holy stink. However, it was also a dual-edged sword. While "pure" and "angel-like" energy could indeed hurt Saiko, there was also the fact that, energy wise, The Demon Reaper had a lot more punching power than he did. And add to the fact that satanic and angelic elements can equally harm each other? Well, any person can draw a sound conclusion from that. It was unnerving for certain, but nothing that deterred her after coming this far in her blood-soiled rampage.

By her estimates, anyway, the difference between the twos energy should equate to him being able to block roughly fifteen to twenty five percent of her attacks based on. Basing these factors around the difference in spiritual energy between the two along with the factor of not fully being demon herself, this was a safe bet to place. As unlike him? On her end of the spectrum in this battle of angel and demon's, she hadn't fully surrendered herself to that path and still had a bulk of Shinigami-blood in her to hopefully bypass a good deal of his effects.

So by the time that he attempted to shield his opponents, Saiko could only shake her head to signify "no" and have two streaks of blackness emit from her body. In this way? They would overpower and devour the waves of light before they could reach the two allies on his side. Filled to the brim with more Death Energy, they sought to have the two forces cancel each other out and redirect it into the sky for a dazzling display of black and white explosions to fill the air. But-- there was still more to deal with.

Quickly moving her body to the side, Saiko narrowly avoided the Hadō shot off by Carter and she could only bite her lips out of anxiousness as she didn't feel well about where this conflict seemed to be heading. Hearing his words that uttered out that reflected a desire to have her stop, Saiko only shook her head once more. Go back? At this point? Was he brain dead or crazy? She sold her soul to the devil and something like that couldn't be so easily taken back. So to that, she'd say these words as a counter: "I-i don't have to do this....? I must...it is my duty....my exchange.....I've already soiled these hands with blood. D-do y-you expect those whom I've....reaped....to so easily take that b-b-BACK? Don't....be....absurd.....it can't work like that...it won't....I-I-I-I-I-T C-C-C-CAN'T!" Voice cracking once more, she felt like she was coming at the seams as he fragile voice tried to yell, but kept stammering in on itself as she winced at her own feelings conflicting with the reality around her.

Even if the male understood where she was coming from, what was the use? Fighting against The Demon God? Shadow Fall? Asthavon's? What was the point in becoming a double traitor just for a few kind-hearted words? There was no way the Gotei 13 would so easily pardon her of crimes, nor was there anyway that the demon's she worked for would take so kindly to getting cold feet now. Thus, in her mind, she was stuck in between the two forces and could only keep going further down this path for the wish she yearned for, the people she sold her soul for and the blood of those she's killed.

Compiling all of this knowledge on her conscious, the very embodiment of Saiko seemed to boil and explode like a raging volcano. Letting out a noise that was akin to a hi-pitch screech, The Void Engima's holler seemed to vaporize most objects and materials around a twenty meter radius before she unleashed a tidal wave of DE Energy in the form of liquid down upon Carter's body. It's intent? To zap the life out of him, increase the fatigue on his body spiritually and physically and to ultimately cause significant bodily injury. This wave even expanded to include the other opponents in this attack and would act like a parasite attempting to eat away at their bodies, their very minds and decay them outright. In this way, as it spread for hundreds of meters, Saiko was marking her mission and trying to force them to fallback, cease and stop putting up this futile fight against her.

"I-i a-am....The Grand Duchess....Of Shadow Fall's Sixth Circle...a-a-and...I won't sway to your lies. Just stop, go home and you don't....have to die." Taking flight in the air during all this, she'd let her voice be broadcasted to the area to let her comrades know where she was. In this way? They would know their duties and seek to take control of this district. Yes, they were going to work slaying and hacking at the Shinigami in this area as they became empowered by the entrails of death and they were all but jovial at Saiko paving the way for them to haul. Shadow Fall was encroaching this area and it indeed was on Saiko's shoulders to make sure this mission was successful -- regardless of her emotional qualms against or for it. This was her duty as one of the elite's of this Organization and as the symbol of one of Shadow Fall's prime members. She had to get it together, control her fear and not let it consume her.

So as she grabbed her gut, she'd let it all out in the form of purple and red fluids ejecting outwards from the girl's mouth as bile. Once done heaving, The Demon Reaper began shaking violently after that point but taking a deep sigh to compose herself as Saiko closed her eyes tightly and sought to see this through to the very bitter end....
