Personality


• Social: Kind and friendly are words that best describe the social aspect of Yoshino's personality, and most would leave at that but there's more. Another aspect about her is that she's responsible and dependable, which no one can deny especially when she gets stuff done in a timely manner. She also likes to manage her time so she doesn't spend too much time doing one thing, thus neglecting other things that needs to be done. Helpful is another one of her aspects, she takes great joy in helping people, rather she knows them or not. She doesn't discriminate, willing to help or becomes friends with those others may see as enemies - demons can be seen as an example. She is also seen as treating things as if they were a game, on top of being extremely playful; she can be quite childish when presented with sweets, which she loves to eat.

Yoshino's playfulness sometimes overshadows her intelligence, and she is very intelligent for her age. She has a vast knowledge on physics and mathematics, though her knowledge is average in every other subject. Her views of the world is different than most, or that is what she believes. Where most may see the world in black and white, good versus evil, the world is painted in grey or from a truly neutral standpoint. Thus if one were to ask where she stood, the answer would be neither on the side of good nor the side of evil, but neutral. But, she can be persuaded to join a side, though it may be hard to convince her.

• Battle: Upon finding herself in a battle, the first thing Yoshino tends to do is analyze the situation. It's not only to gauge the strength of her opponent, but to also determine rather or not she could treat the fight with seriousness or as a game. If she deems the situation doesn't demand her seriousness, she'll play with her opponent without any intentions of seriously harming them. She unconsciously scales back the power of her attacks since she doesn't wish to harm her opponent. And she giggles throughout the fight, but it doesn't mean she isn't paying attention.

Since the threat a individual has towards her can suddenly change, Yoshino is always paying attention to any changes within her opponent. This means she's looking for changes in their power level or their actions. And once she believes that they have gotten strong enough to become a problem, her attitude towards the fight changes.

When a situation requires her to take a fight seriously, Yoshino's personality drastically changes. She's no longer playing with her opponent, or playful for that matter, exhibiting a much more serious demeanor. She becomes focused on defeating her opponent, but remains aware of her surroundings. She calculates and analyzes the power and abilities of her opponent so that she can devise a plan to counter their attacks, whilst also using the surrounding area to her advantage.

Her normally kind attitude is replaced by a vicious one, one that is bent on winning the fight and destroying her opponent. She holds nothing back in terms of her skills, since messing around in a serious fight would mean the difference between life and death. Thus people would chalk up Yoshino's serious battle persona to be cruel, with little to no concern about the safety of others nor the threat she poses to those within the vicinity of her fight - especially when a friend of her's has been harmed. She will automatically skip into her serious battle persona if she deem an opponent worthy of her attention, or when a friend has been harmed. And once she is done fighting, Yoshino reverts back to her social personality, a smile on her face though she may have blood on her hands.

Powers


• Natural Attributes:

Enhanced Agility: Due to her training in Parkour, Yoshino's agility is much higher than the average human. This allows her to perform the tricks associated with Parkour with ease since she can move quickly and easily, this also is good for evasion. It also allows her to perform stuff not associated with Parkour, such as backhand springs and other flips much easier than the average person.

Parkour: Yoshino is a practitioner of Parkour, she having learned it from her older brother who is also a practitioner of Parkour. The goal behind Parkour is to get from A to B in the most efficient way possible. She does this by using her body and the surrounding area to propel herself; furthermore she tries to maintain as much momentum as is possible, though in a safe manner. Parkour includes running, climbing, jumping, rolling, swinging, vaulting, etc, depending on what movement would be deemed most suitable for a situation.

• Powers:

Molecular Manipulation: Yoshino has unlocked the power to manipulate matter on a molecular level. Molecular Manipulation refers to several molecular-based powers, most branches of this ability involve manipulating the speed of molecules more than any other ability one can attain with Molecular Manipulation. While this power has potential to be quite deadly when used in its full form, Yoshino has only exhibited the ability to speed up the molecules in order to cause explosions; this doesn't mean that speeding up molecules to cause explosions will be her one and only ability, just that it's the first step she has made in learning how to control her power.
    Molecular Combustion: This is the first ability that Yoshino has learned, and the only one she can use through her power over molecules thus far. This power allows her to speed up molecules to the point of combustion, which causes an explosion. This explosion is achieved through a simple hand gesture or thought, and is automatically triggered by anger. She can thus cause inanimate objects to blow up, not possessing the control needed to use this on animated objects, though she can cause explosion without the use of inanimate objects through speeding up the molecules within the air.

    It appears that blowing up some inanimate objects can cause a lasting fire, and on occasions create ripples in the air that will thrust things away; the latter is a side-effect of the explosion of larger objects, not something that can be consciously controlled.

    Activating this power by hand gesture is perhaps the easiest and fastest way to cause explosions. It can also be activated by thought, though this requires concentration and is only used if she desires to blow up a specific object. When angry, this power goes out of control, she unconsciously speeding up the molecules of random inanimate objects within a 50 yard radius of her - that's half the length of a football field. When angry, she has little control over this ability, and thus can unintentional ly harm her allies. Thus she needs to keep her anger in check.


• Pure Abilities:

Regenerative Healing Factor: Yoshino has exhibited a power that is referred to as Regenerative Healing Factor, or RHF for short. This allows injuries to mend themselves, and since it was gained through her power over molecules, on a molecular level. Thus far she has been able to repair minor cuts, bruises and light burns with little to no evidence of the injuries existence (2-3 post). It has the potential of healing worse injuries, but it hasn't been seen nor tested yet.

RHF does come with its problems. RHF can be unreliable at times, and it usage is very limited - being restricted to repairing her skin. This can be blamed on her limited control over RHF.

History


• Background: The story begins like any other, man meets woman, and woman meets man. The two fall in love with one another, date for a couple months, realize they can't live without the other, and naturally become husband and wife. Two souls united together for eternity through holy matrimony, for better or worse. The two newlyweds, named Akina and Ichirou respectively, had no desire to stay within the protective walls of Karakura Central, wanting to raise their family away from the city. They didn't leave Karakura Central right after their marriage, the two had no reason to leave the city just yet since the only reason they would leave the city was to raise a family. A family neither wanted at the moment, and would wait two years to start.

During the two year time frame, the two accumulated knowledge of the conditions outside of Karakura Central, and where most would have some reservation of leaving the safety of the city for the dangers outside, the two were looking forward to it. They were planning their future outside of the city, collecting things that would help get them started once they arrived on the outskirts of Karakura. And after that two year timeframe, Akina became pregnant with her first child. Against the wishes of their respective family to stay and have the baby in the safety of a hospital, the two moved to the outskirts of Karakura during Akina's second trimester.

Akina and Ichirou moved into one of the many houses on the outskirts, and Ichirou began to place their plan into motion. While Akina was making the house fit for a family, Ichirou was out getting use to life outside of the city and becoming friends with those who had also decided to live outside of the dome. He learned from these friends what else would be needed to survive outside the city. And by time Akina's went into labor, he had the experience needed to take care of his wife and his future child.

The days before Akina's labor, the woman was confided to her bed. Elise, a friend of Ichirou that he had meant his first week on the outside, came to help Akina. She played the role of midwife during the birth of the first child, which Akina is grateful for. Yuudai was born September 27th, 2395, a baby boy. For six years the happily married couple were happy with their son, but they didn't feel complete. Akina wanted another child, this one she wanted to be a girl. Yuudai was also eager for a younger sibling, and didn't care if said sibling was a boy or a girl.

It was the year 2401 when Akina became pregnant, and December 12th when she gave birth to Yoshino. The family was than completed with the newest addition, and Akina was glad that she had a little girl.

Yoshino was quite the helper even at a young age, the kind of person who would help around the house without being asked to and help her neighbors as well. She was also seen as a bit odd, not that she acted oddly, just that she was different from her family. She exhibited the ability to instantly regenerate from minor injuries, and though not seriously weird for people that live in a world filled with the supernatural, it was still odd that she displayed such a trait.

When Yoshino wasn't helping others, she was out hanging with her brother and a mixture of his and her friends. The days with them were spent judging who was better, rather it be in Parkour or fights; and they got into plenty of fights with the children that they didn't hang with. Yoshino had no actually hatred towards them and she rarely got into fights with them, but she didn't hang with the other group of kids as much nor did she consider them to be her friends. When she did get into fights with the other group, she never really fought to harm though there were occasions where she did just that.

Akina didn't like the fact that Yoshino was out fighting alongside her brother, but nothing she could do about it. And there wasn't much for her or Ichirou could worry about since Yoshino could easily regenerate from injuries that she received from fights, though Yuudai on the other hand couldn't. But her parents were becoming concerned with the safety of Yuudai and Yoshino, thus talks of moving back into the city were being held.

It wasn't until Yoshino had caused some great harm to the rival kid group that the couple decided it was time to move back into Karakura Central. The details of the fight is never discussed amongst the family, especially since Yoshino hardly remembers it, but its safe to assume that people got hurt.

Upon moving back into the city, they stayed a month or two at their grandmother's house. Yoshino was able to meet her relatives for the first time, which was overwhelming but not as overwhelming as being in a large high-tech city for the first time. Even after a three months living within Karakura Central, she has been unable to fully get use to the life within the city, though she is trying. To pass the time, she has immersed herself in trying to find someone who can teach her how to control her ability. And she is still looking for that perfect teacher.
