Personality:
Shoku is the big silent guy standing in the back of the classroom that
you were always afraid to talk to for fear he would turn out to be some kind
of psychopath. Well he truly follows the stereotype. Often hes quiet lost
staring into the moon putting off spiritual pressure that wouldn't make a
child flinch, That is until someone or something stands to harm his current Master or himself.
with a simple instance of combat arising his power explodes forth
returning to what someone of his class would not be expected to wield In a violent storm
of focused rage he knows no equal in his mind and will stop at nothing to crush
those who are foolish enough to test his strength. In fights he has been known to
beat opponent's mercilessly long after they have expired, until his rage fades or his body
fails what ever comes first. Shoku's fighting style is very aggressive, little can be said
about it being a skilled art. For the simple fact that it isn't. Shoku is a brawler his fighting
style holds up to the simple motto that if you want to win a fight you have to get a little
bloody. His style lacks any real defensive actions other then enduring assaults and letting
his body soak of the damage. Sure he might put up his guard from time to time but
thats to say his opponent can stand up to him after a good punch or two. He uses his
massive strength to end battles quickly up close taking a hit or two just to land the
crippling or sometimes killing blow. When fighting quick opponent's he waits for them
to move in and strike, always looking for a chance to pull them in close and rob them
of their speed advantage. If you're looking to limit collateral damage then shoku isn't
the fighter for you, since his style doesn't spare any property between himself or his
enemy. Every chair or pillar is a weapon. When fighting with his own zanpakto he uses
it to complement his fists. It's more often used as a shield to get close to use his fists,
he effectively uses the curved end of his sword in his released form to swing past his
dodging enemies and hook them from the back. Pulling them in once he gets a hold of
them most scrawny types will lack the physical strength to break free before he preforms
reconstructive surgery on their face with his fists.

GENETIC LOOKS

Appearance:
Shoku entire being is covered in muscle from his
lifestyle of endless combat leaving little of his body at a state less then perfect. He stands
taller then most any arrancar most find this gigantic size imposing or even gargantuan like.
Only a small fragment of his mask remains sitting just on top of his left eye.

Titan Steel Hierro-Shoku's steel skin is a step above an espada. in sealed form his skin is only slightly more renforced then other arrancar. In released form his free flowing spiritual pressure hardens his body reducing deflecting most shikai blades and reducing the damage of Kido below lv 35.

Shoku puts his palm at the base of the blade and runs it along it's side toward the end,
as he is doing this the sun/moon in the sky begins to eclipse.

Resereccion Abilities:
After resurecting Shoku grows to 15 ft in hight and looses his ability to preform sonido due to his abnormal size.But where he lacks in high speed movement he makes up for in defence. since transforming his body has becomed hardened and In released form his free flowing spiritual pressure hardens his body reducing deflecting most shikai blades and reducing the damage of Kido level 50 and below. His sword also changes into one the sized up just for him as seen in the image.


Cero Gigante
Shoku is a huge guy so natrually he unleashes a cero to match. The Cero itself is massive forming as a huge black sphere which he holds above his head. The sphere is 10ft in diameter making the technique so big he must use both hands when forming it. Unlike a normal cero that fires out like a beam, the cero gigante is simply dropped or tossed as a sphere on the intended target it is clearly not as fast in velocity as a normal cero but packs a punch superior to that of a cero with a much higher surface area. This cero has been known to roll thru a city block decimating everything in its path. This ability has a 5 post cool down on it and can only be used twice during a battle. Since it drains a very large amount of rietsu. In addition this attack requires a post to be charged, The following post it reaches it's maximum potential.

Focused Rietsu Attacks
This is more or less how shoku inflicts heavy damage on the targets he hits, Since almost all of his offense is comprised of punches and kicks. Each of Shoku's serious swings(ones that he puts considerable effort into) are backed up by a focused burst of rietsu from the point of impact. protecting his hands or feet from the surface he strikes as penetrating obstacles such as walls or armor with relative ease. Effectively this ability uses up his rietsu to cause greater destruction to obstacles or opponent's in his way. This ability can use anywhere from a small amount of rietsu to a large amount should he focus a large amount into an attack.

These level's do not factor the power of shoku's punch by itself into account.

Low -Standard Focused attack with this ability packs a bala force. Doesn't supply enough power to break armor on it's own.

Moderate- A Mid level Focused attack packs the punch of a #30 destructive art. Provides enough power on it's own to break shikai level barrier's and armors.

Heavy-A Highly Focused Attack concentrating a 30% of user's total rietsu into a single strike. This strike packs the power of a #50 destructive art. Hit's with such force that it breaks all but the mightiest armor's guards or shields.

These effects are all downgraded in effectiveness when fighting a higher tiered opponent.

Embrace of the Eclipse
The eclipsed moon envelopes the area in a state of total darkness. This area is limited and confined to the area upon where the fight is taking place. Extending no further then 100x100 sq. ft from the center of the battle field. This Darkness is rietsu in nature and being so it confuses the sense's of those inside it making detection by rietsu a very difficult feat. The point of this total darkness environment is to act as cover for shoku's cumbersome movement's giving him a tactical advantage. Of course this ability does not work in doors / and cannot be used in combination with Obsidian Silhouette. This ability lasts a maximum of 6 posts and has a 10 posts cool down. Max 3 times a topic

Obsidian Silhouette
This is said to be his ultimate technique, the activation of this ability is quite subtle. The glow from the eclipsed moon/sun above the battlefield, makes a thin glowing outline around Shoku's body focusing its shadow directly on him. With this ability active opponents will find that the silhouette cast on his body is mimicking Shoku's attacks and movement's independently swing for swing with half the force. his ability mimics physical attacks via fists , kicks or zan, this ability cannot mimmic his cero, bala or any other hollow ability. he may only use this ability when he has a clear line of sight to the eclipsed sun or moon. This ability stays active for a total of 5 posts with a 5 posts cool down and a limit of 3 times a topic.

PAST

History:
Not much is known about Shoku's life as a human one can only
assume he lead a violent lifestyle due to his violent nature after death.
Shoku's existence after death started out with as a fiendish hollow,
rampaging across Hueco Mundo praying on other hollow rather
then humans.The taste did not suit him nor did their texture.
He cared very little about human souls, they had very little fight in them.
This is what Shoku loved so much watching a hollow give every last
ounce of his strength to stay alive, beckoning them to stand back
up just to be knocked back down. Beating them relentlessly till there
bodies simply fell apart. Fights between him and other hollow more often
then not ended without a meal due to the fact he got caught up in the
pure enjoyment and clobbered the other hollow before getting a bite.
A shinigami once reported seeing a hollow attacking a human, but as
he went in closer to save the human he found that Shoku was
attacking the hollow in question. For the life of him the shinigami
couldn't figure it out. That hollow that was Shoku out right ignored
the human as he shouted and screamed for his life on the ground
between them. But it was apparent that shoku wasn't protecting
this human soul, The poor man had simply been caught in the middle
at the wrong time. Instead of getting himself between the two he
simply grabbed the human and got outa there leaving Shoku to finish
off the hollow and vanish back to Hueco Mundo. When he reached the
peak of his hollow prowess as a arrancar he got brave enough to start
attacking Arrancar, Even managing to kill quite a few underlings without
much trouble he simply overwhelmed them. They could only underestimate
one who put off such a low spiritual pressure. By the time they felt the
explosion of pressure and released it was to late to defend them self's.
They where utterly decimated by the powerful force of shokus fists,
as Shoku breeched the gates of Las Noches the leader of the espada
stepped out of Las Noches and approached him. Demanding he give up
his murderous spree. He insisted he remove his mask and join them.
Unfortunately Shoku lacked the commonsense to know when the quit.
It wasn't that he lacked the intelligence, but rather he had gained to much
rage to control himself. He made the fatal mistake of attacking the leader
of the espada. Shoku was powerful in his current state but he was in
no means able to defeat the most powerful being in Hueco Mundo.
His rage drove him to fight honorably but in the end he fell in a
crushing defeat. Shoku lay injured and on the brink of death
his mask shattered , but In that moment he gained some sanity
in his rather out of control life. He struggled on as he was dragged
off and later managed to survive the transformation into an arrancar.
Seeing he didn't perish right away the espada had his fraccion drag
his body back to las noches and locked him in the prison, thinking he
might be of use at some time or another. He resided there for fifty
years before he was released. In a test run he was made the 5th espada
for a time. But his service was short lived for the main reason he could not
be trusted. After he released his zanpakto he was to easily set off,
He often snapped and tore apart his section of hucco mundo.
Killing his fraccion after the first twenty years he had went
thru more fraccion then any espada. It wasn't just the loss of so many
fraccion that lead to his title of espada being stripped from him.
Most of the espada could care less about the loss of someone
else's fraccion. The primero began to become annoyed, when
Shoku began jeopardizing his missions and undermining his authority
he himself had to put an end to it. His recklessness caused him
to be stripped of his position, and exiled as a Privaron.He was
far to useful to be destroyed should the desperate need arise
for fighters he could be called upon but unfortunately far to
dangerous to have around Las Noches. He sats in silent
solitary confinement within the prison below las noches until 10
years later when he escaped and is prosumed to be roaming Hucco mundos sands.

"Shoku, was jarred loose from the grand ray cero almost falling down the hole of the dome, as he plummeted he grabbed the edge with one hand and pulled himself up, turning to look back at the shinigami. "You want a challenge? , don't underestimate me. I don't care how strong you are i'll make sure you remember this battle. Shoku drew his zanpakto a long sharp scimitar like sword a weapon truly worthy of someone of his stature. He looked at the blade briefly, before turning to Sherry,
"Get behind Megami and stay there", he ordered his fraccion.
This was hueco mundo, a vast desert land which always possessed a bright full moon in the sky, it casted its light on everyone and everything, and would bend to his will today. Shoku raised his zanpakto over his head placing one hand on the side of the blade at the guard. Upon contact a powerful blanket of spiritual pressure shot out in every direction. Shoku slowly began sliding his hand long the length of the blade leaving a glowing blade in the wake of his hand. The most supernatural thing occurred as he did this. The moon in the sky slowly began to lunar eclipse itself giving off the look of an erie ring in the sky, Hueco Mundo, was now blanketed in a dark veil of night.
In that darkness a shadowy wind swirled around Shoku, as he spoke it's name.
"Cast Your Shadow"
The swirl became a tornado, growing in size, until the tornado of darkness disbursed in a violent pattern. The fill force of Shoku's released spiritual pressure hovered like a choking black cloud over those who were not able to produce such a force. Out of the darkness a huge titan encased in a bone like skin looming ten feet in hight, stepped along the roof, it's crushing weight made, an audible sound and long looming cracks in it's wake. The titan dragged behind it a gigantic sword as big as itself, its edge carving into the roof like a chisel as it was drug along the ground.
This was Shoku's hollow form a truly frightening sight to behold. You could hear hollows shrieking out in fear from the very presence of this form. From behind the complete mask that covered his face Shoku spoke in an ominously deeper voice.
The battle begins now. "Are you so confident that you can, take my punch this time." His fist began to pulse with a pitch black energy ever so subtle, what would his opponent do stand his ground or dodge. It didn't matter to shoku."

Who said he was a vastalode, his release is ment to be an armored giant. Im not sure where it came up. I do have another release image for him which is used for when a forum allows him to be a vastalode class since this character has played one in the past. Sorry for any mix up.
