「NOTICE FOR THIS THREAD」 |
☓ | Alright, I'm going to end up skipping Zero since he has had long enough. As a result of not posting Koichi is going to have blown Yako into Demon World with some moderate injuries; but he'll live. From there, he'd be locked out of the city due to the barrier put in place. I'll be posting soon enough here. Hopefully we can end this thread soon enough. |

And like that -- the war seemed to be over and done with. Managing to blast Yako into the deepest pits of Demon World, Koichi seemed quite pleased with himself now that things were drawing to a close with this final battle within Toowoomba. There was a great sense of comfort in knowing that the last remaining threat to the city's integrity was now officially wiped off the map. Of course The Iramasha understood that he'd pop up at a later date, but Koichi would be ready for him again if he showed his rear or tail to him. For the time being, The Hell Hound determined it was best to check in how things were developing outside the city. After all, The Ruby Cross Commander would need to tend to his injuries first at any rate.Overlooking status updates on The Yuudeshi Network, it seemed that the Shinigami within Hobart appeared to have completed their task as well; as the last of that cataclysmic energy seemed to dissipate with the raise of the early morning sun in the distance. All that was left now was for everyone to pick up the pieces, learn to live again and await what would come of this new world. It was quite the sombering reality for Koichi to see that this stand off was at last coming to an end. As he began watching others in the distance begin to find the survivors of this war, recover the bodies of the dead claimed by this battle and the last of the fires start to taper off; it brought waves of relief that the harshness of this reality eased for the moment.
And along those sentiments, it appeared that even the opposing team seemed to share the same mindset. Although he wasn't too fond of Azuma, he'd hope he would just have sense enough to know when to leave the subject matter alone when it came to rebuilding. Of course they'd allow him to assist with the recovery, repair and rebuilding of the city -- but they wouldn't so easily handover the keys of control to him. Trust takes time to build and it's not a force that can be turned on with the flick of a switch. For to destroy faith in another takes but a wave of the hand, but it requires hard work to build new confidence in your fellow man. So he'd oversee his progress through the coming months to see if there were any validity to his claims or not.
"I'd have to agree with The Maiden. It's simply not wise to so easily believe the words of a former enemy. If you want to assist with the clean up, you'll be under heavy lock and key. I don't tolerate anything else." Sounding stern and to the point, Koichi didn't seem to care much for the exchange going on between Reimu and Azuma. Something smelled rotten in the almo, and his gut told him to listen to his canine instincts. In fact, Koichi had half-a-mind to apprehend Azuma for crimes against an Iramasha Leader. So holding none of his feelings back, he'd express this point rather quickly: "It would be increasingly wise to get out of here before we change our mind. I'm certain many sides in this war have committed deeds that would otherwise be deemed illegal, unlawful or immoral during times of peace. So in accordance with that thought, you should tell all those within Monsuta that their days are numbered in Australia. There is no way that they can sustain this effort or path anymore without facing certain doom and destruction."
After expressing those opinions on the subject matter at hand, Koichi would rub his temples and attempt to figure out where to steer things next. Glancing at the two again after they began expressing more basic philosophy on the art of war, The Hell Hound honestly began to question rather or not such words should be expressed in this time and place. Sure, it was fine to look back on at a later date, but not right after a battle. And to be frank? Koichi didn't have the time to spare or patience to humor such things at the moment. As long as he took the cue to leave, The Military Leader couldn't care less. Right now, his mind was on work and getting the rest of this warzone cleaned up and putting things back in order. Maybe once his workload was eased, The Iramasha could perhaps have a conversation about these affairs, but it simply wasn't the time or place for him to take it in such a relaxed manner.
Therefore, he'd go on with making the official updates within The Yuudeshi Network. Synchronizing himself to the hive network, The Hound would begin transmitting the needed announcements that needed to be made in order to claim this last city and put an end to this long, drawn out battle. 'This is Koichi Iramasha, leader of the Iramashsa Military. I am sending a status update to confirm that the combat in Toowoomba has ceased. It's now in The Control of The Iramasha Clan and Yuudeshi Network. We are going to be working on ensuring the recovery process for this city is smooth, fast and secure. The presence of The Monsuta and other opposing forces like Shadow Fall and The Kokuryuteshi have been wiped and we can proceed with the conclusion of this war. Have mercy on those soul's lost to this abysmal war and let us look forward to the dawn of a new day as we face this brave new world with our heads held up high and spirits filled with vigor. Once again -- this is Koichi Iramashsa signing off.'
Taking a heavy sigh after conveying that message to all allies, enemies, networks and communication lines -- Koichi would begin to walk towards the edge of the city and fold his arms. They were quite the heavy thoughts to share with others, but words that needed to be broadcasted none the less. Glancing at Reimu leaving the city to take care of affairs elsewhere, The Hell Hound decided to stay put in the city and watch over it until the coast was officially clear. Once business with Toowoomba was finished, he'd no doubt get to work establishing the Iramahsa Settlement. For now, however, he could relax. After a day or so of intense warfare, it seems cooler heads were beginning to prevail as the world awakened to what occurred in Australia. There was no doubt going to be waves of change taking place through the world in the future. Yet, in spite of that, Koichi would gladly face it with open arms.
