Personality: Extremely Polite and caring, Ayumi is ultimately one of the kindest people a person could meet. She’s terrible at lying, and in contrast she is far too honest (yet not blunt). She is one of the furthest people from being blunt, as when there are things to be said, which in some way may be harmful to a person, she tries her hardest to say it in the least offensive way possible without actually lying. She’s very worrisome about the smallest of things and wholeheartedly puts her all into helping somebody, when there’s someone to be helped; even when it comes to an enemy.

Brief History: Ayumi Doesn’t remember what happened in her past life, but she is nonetheless certain that she was a good child, and that the Buddhas had blessed her with a heavenly body. In her past life she must have been a buddhist, and her faith carried on. Of course, the more she spent time in Soul Society, the less she thought about buddhism, but her values and morals didn’t stray far.

She chose to continue living a righteous life and enlisted in the academy. Luckily, she was blessed with talent in many subjects, but the applicable ones she excelled in included Kidou and Hoho. She had an innate affinity for reiryoku control, and thus could apply it well. However, whenever she was to practice Hakuda, her opponent would never be injured. That proved to be a problem, but as she could effectively incapacitate them, this was for the most part overlooked.

Eventually she graduated from the academy and was put into the fourth division, as she proved to be very good with healing, and she had too pure of a heart to be put into the second division, despite her skill with hoho. On a mission to heal someone in the World of the Living, she was attacked by a hollow almost immediately after exiting the sekaimon. As a result, she was pushed back due to the surprise and the portal closed when she stepped back. Stuck in the Precipice World, she saw a sekaimon opened by some relatively random shinigami, and as she exited, it was in a time that was not of her own.

It took her a while to adapt to the vast changes, but after a year or so, she was able to live relatively normally. At some point, she noticed the allowance for those of any race, so long as they look the age, to join Karakura High, which just so happened to be the city in which the Sekaimon opened for her. As a result, she enrolled into Karakura High School, and from there she met Sakura Sakunobi, an outgoing preppy young girl in the same class as her. After having a few conversations together, as a result of their seats being next to each other’s, Ayumi and Sakura began to get closer, to the point where Sakura, as a greeting, would fondle Ayumi’s bosom, which in return Sakura would receive a stern scolding. Naturally, after becoming so close as to fondle one’s breasts, Ayumi and Sakura became best friends, and the rest-- it’s simply school life.

Basic Powers:
Flash Step- She is best at Hoho, and all around is fast enough to have a seat(low seat) in the second division

Zanjutsu- She is quite terrible at swinging a sword. It is quite possibly because she subconsciously feels bad about using it (considering swords are made for combat)

Hakuda- Though she is good at hand-to-hand combat, that is only in types of combat style where they handle the opponent delicately. With that, she is the equivalent of a 9th dan black belt Aikido practitioner, as the principles of

Aikido are largely dependant on the fact that practitioners are not to harm their opponent, and essentially “caress them into submission”.

Kido- Kido is another thing she excels at. Specifically healing. It’s as if her reiryoku was meant to be used for healing and barriers. She can effectively use kido spells 1-60.

Zanpakutō- a basic katana with a normal hilt, guard, blade; it’s basically one of the most standard Zanpakutō’s ever.

Shikai- Ayumi’s shikai transforms into a type of chain that is extremely soft, but when swung is more effective than a standard steel chain. She can freely control the movement of the chain so long as she is touching some part of it (by channeling her reiryoku through it). One of the ways she utilises this is to go even faster than usual when using hoho by wrapping it around her body. Despite it’s softness, it is hardly brittle and is also useful for blocking (like wrapping it around her arms and using it as an armguard). It’s extremely hard to break, and is much easier to destroy when incorporating some sort of energy behind the attack. If her chain, in any part, is broken, then the entire thing reverts back to it’s sealed form. A special ability that the shikai grants Ayumi is a constant temporary growth of reiryoku, which greatly affects her ability to use kido as well. Every minute, her reiryoku increases by .09%). Hypothetically, Ayumi can use her shikai indefinitely, however, the more her reiryoku increases, the more control she loses, and so she might be forced out of shikai. Furthermore, the fast drop in reiryoku vastly affects her, and sometimes she can faint from it or even go into a comatose affect, as her body has to adapt from having so much reiryoku than normal, and then dropping back down. However, one’s body will naturally, or in this case, soul, adapt to the situation, and as such, Ayumi can progressively get used to having a larger and larger amount of reiryoku, even perhaps increasing her base-reiryoku with further usage. Of course, it would take much time for this to happen, but would most definitely be faster than average. (though it might not be very useful for an NPC…)
