04 - Thanatos WIP

Personality: Thanatos has a very strange aura around him. His face usually has a kind smile on it at all times, and he takes his time with everything, seeming very laid back. He's known to not feel that he's better than anyone else, and would listen even to the complains of normal people without feeling annoyed. In fact, he is the kind of leader everyone wants, since he also seems to hate conflict and tries to use peace as the means to get through everything - he's a very smooth talker, called 'silver-tounged devil' by some.
However, this is one side of him only. Once you get to know him a bit, a certain sadness seems to always accompany him. It is hard to notice, but in his eyes, words, and even movements, one can see a strange elegance - the elegance of someone who has faced true despair more than just once, but rather has to live with it forever.
If Thanatos has to go into battle, he is always serious, never taunting his enemies with words, but is rather known to even compliment them if they manage to somehow hurt him - before he utterly destroys them. His fighting strength as a Krusnik is the main reason so many of his kind respect him as a leader not only in peace, but also in war.
The next part of his personality that has to be adressed, though, seems to be quite the opposite. This side of him... is Nyx. Nyx is a split personality of Thanatos that lives on the borders of his spirit, gnawing on his soul and trying to take control of him. His calm nature and serious battle attitude steem to a part from him trying to surpess Nyx as good as he can. Normally, Nyx - a battle-loving, death obsessed maniac - can only surface if the Krusnik wants him to. The only exception is his 100% release state - in this, Nyx ALWAYS takes control over their body.
Nyx, apart from being obsessed with death, doesn't care for his comrades. That he is the one active is quickly noticed by looking into the eyes of Thanatos - the iris of them turns into a slightly shining white, making him look even more like a corpse. During one of the times one can actually talk with Nyx, you can quickly discover his non-caring attitude to people being a strong contrast to Thanatos himself. However, his 'evil' side is not really evil - he simply is anti-social and loves battle. In 100%, though, Nyx becomes quite the maniac, and can't even tell who is on his side anymore. He just attacks everything in the area Thanatos tells him to, including his own kind.
Likes: Calm nights, ice-tea (though this is mostly a secret to people) and, oddly enough, a certain war memorial build for the Methuselah that died during the first contact, after the war.
Likes (Nyx): Huge storms, burning hot battles, being left alone by people, at least most of the time.
Dislikes: Fighting, brainless ruffians, those that disrespect the dead.
Dislikes (Nyx): Peace, the body he is stuck in, people that try to understand him
Goals: Achieve true peace of mind and body, learn the meaning of death, and conquer death itself.
Fears: To see his fellow Methuselah and Krusnik die, not being able to reach 'her' goal, losing his body to Nyx

Tattoos: The sign of the Tarot-card 'Death' is tattooed onto his right upper arm.
Scars: No visible scars can be seen on Thanatos' body, most likely thanks to his regenerative abilities.

Other Markings/Features: His skin is very pale, to a point where it even looks like he is dead sick at times. This steems from his inner struggle with Nyx, though.

Date of Birth: His exact date of birth has been erased from the records under misterious circumstances. He claims it is the 28th February, though, but never states the year.
