[OPEN] Fallen Goddess Part 1: Graveyard Empty [OPEN] Fallen Goddess Part 1: Graveyard

Sat Jul 13, 2013 10:12 pm
Warning
Hanako is passively active at full powered reiatsu of 0-2+, all living beings and spirits are not immune to this. The more powerful they are, the better they could resist without protection, but those lower than 3-1++ will need to bring protection to confront her as those who are higher or on that mentioned tier will need protection to last longer or be able to not be affected. Protection can be in form of barriers, items, armors and implants. Here are the general idea, it will varied differently between people, but it is based on the basic level of character without protection.
----Tier 6: They can only live up to 2 posts before being evaporated due to exposure without protection. Surviving this during the first post would cost a limb if one gets too close.
----Tier 5: They can only live up to 3 posts before being evaporated due to exposure without protection; first post will be suffocation. Surviving this during the first post will render the person unharmed while surviving during the third post will cost a limb.
----Tier 4: They can only live up to 4 posts before being killed due to exposure without protection; first two posts will be suffocation, while third post may cause unconsciousness by suffocation. Surviving during the first two posts will render the person unharmed. No evaporation.
----Tier 3: They can only live up to 5 posts before being killed due to exposure without protection; first three posts will be suffocation, while fourth post may cause unconsciousness by suffocation. Surviving during the first three posts will render the person unharmed. No evaporation.
----Tier 2: They can only live up to 6 posts before being killed due to exposure without protection; first post is weakness, second and third post will be suffocation, fourth and fifth post may be unconsciousness. Surviving before the fourth post will render the person unharmed. No evaporation.
----Tier 1: They can only live up to 7 posts before being killed due to exposure without protection; first two posts will be weakness, third and fourth post will be suffocation, fifth and sixth post may be unconsciousness. Surviving before the fifth post will render the person unharmed. No evaporation.
----Tier 0: They can only live up to 8 posts before being killed due to exposure without protection; first post is nothing, second and third post will be weakness, fourth and fifth post will be suffocation, sixth and seventh may be unconsciousness. Survival before sixth post will render the person unharmed.

Condition Definition
----Weakness: All skills are reduced by one rank per post due to losing focus and strength by the overwhelming reiatsu (2 ranks maximum.)
----Suffocation: All abilities are harder to perform by 49% per post due to being less capable of breathing within the suppressing reiatsu (98% maximum.)
----Unconsciousness: The reiatsu overwhelmed you to the point that you're too exhausted to move, to think and to speak. First post of this condition will permit some movement, but only in one direction of choice. Second post is when the person falls over and goes into a dream-like state, not being able to become aware of what happened while also have a chance of losing memory about the time recently before falling unconscious.
----Evaporation: (Tier 6 and 5 only) You "dusted off" and will be teleported to Karakura Hospital with all limbs restored and be unable to remember the time of their death, to move and/or use abilities until receiving treatment at Karakura Hospital. Player can choose how it would be like, but it cannot be none of them.
----Death: (Tier 4 and above only) You "died" and will be teleported to Karakura Hospital with restored body and be able to move and use abilities, but can remember the feeling of death and how it happened.

Protection Boosts
----Full-Body Protection = Immunity to Weakness/Cures Weakness.
----Breathing Apparatus = Immunity to Suffocation/Cures Suffocation.
----Reiatsu Absorption = Immunity to Unconsciousness.
----Shell/Barrier = Temporary Immunity to Reiatsu.
----Healing Abilities = Stalls time limit/Cures Unconsciousness.
----Higher Sub-Tier = +1 post to your time limit per sub-tier before being affected (+ = +1 extra and ++ = +2 extra.)
----Durability = +1 post to your time limit per rank before being affected.
----Strength = +1 post to your time limit per rank before being weakened.
----Pain Tolerance = +1 post to your time limit per rank before being suffocated.
----Willpower = +1 post to your time limit per rank before becoming unconscious.
----Durability + Strength + Pain Tolerance + Willpower = total posts added to your time limit before you are killed.
----Reiatsu Suppression = +1 post added for all participant's time limit and +2 posts added if maintained. If ended, 3 posts will be deducted from time limit.

Hanako can still fight back when fought upon, but it will reduce her time limit.
----Before she vanishes upon 'death', she has five posts to live as default.
----Hurting her will reduce the time limit by one post per times being hurt.
----Hanako using her abilities will also reduce the time limit per use.
----Maintaining her life with healing and reiatsu-based suppressors can increase the time limit by one post per being healed or suppressed of reiatsu.
----Each two weeks of inactivity will cause a skip, which the next person will take the turn while treating the inactive participant as if he or she has done nothing.
Note: Time Limit is removed due to author being unable to keep his end of the bargain. It will be post before he does for joiners.

Original Poster's Note: The purpose of this is to give a sense of danger to the situation. Anyone can join, but only at their own peril. Death is technically not allowed, so if the person said "died," they are automatically booted off the thread and be sent to Karakura Hospital with certain effects. If there is a question, do send the question by private messaging on the site, not on chat room; that way, you can have the best answer possible instead of having me scrambling about for a quick reply.

Artist: Motoi Sakuraba - Song: Four Kings - Word Count: 554
"Figure's" Time Limit: 5 Posts
Turn is Skipped to Hanako: 27th of July, 2013

Close before midday at the graveyard, a service was in session as the friends and family stand around a casket while the priest is making his prayers to allow the spirit to pass on to the next world. Some of the witnesses of the ceremony are holding their umbrella opened to keep the rain that falls from the ominous clouds above. All over Karakura Central on this day was a dark field of clouds that is reported to rain all day for the day until the evening. However, as the rain come down, there was a strange rumbling in the sky. Some of the witnesses are asking about a misinterpreted reading that would say a thunderstorm. Three minutes into the scene of a change in weather, a great bolt of lightning that is brighter than average and certainly was capable of breaking a hole into the dome with unyielding ferocity. The lightning slams onto the path that is a distance away from the session with a loud sonic clap. The shockwave was enough to knock some people who are standing over, including the priest. Mystified by the event, the witnesses begin gathering their things, thinking it is too dangerous to linger now. Captivated by the strange glow from the ground, a little boy mindlessly staggers toward the light. The father was quick to notice as he runs and grabs the boy to keep him from getting closer to the glow, but stops after so due to the allure of the glowing light left by the lightning. Soon, as the dome closes, a figure rises from the crater that was left by the lightning bolt.

The figure is feminine while wearing a black, floral dress with a black cowl concealing her face like a hood. On her back was a pair of black wings that are not feathery or scaly, but consisting of black gaseous plumes that resonates with far-cries of souls lost in some kind of a battle. As she lurches as if in pain, a pair of honey-blond hair leaks out of the cowl. Strangely, her size was petite, but her form was more of an adult. On an impulse, the father picks up the boy and runs away to join the other witnesses as they flee from the potential danger. The father cries out, “Call for help! Call the Vanguards! We’re under attack! Karakura is under attack!” The figure staggers in small steps before a strong explosive force erupts around her, causing her to light up on the reiatsu detection systems as a critical threat with the reiatsu level peaking that of a leader of any major organization at their full power if not higher. Due to the containment of the dome, only the spiritually aware populous of Karakura City and Underground Karakura could feel the presence of the powerful being. Yet not everyone could hear the thoughts by this figure; Karakura is under attack? I guess so… I am home, but I do not feel that I should be here; not with my price for my desperation. I-I chose to use my final form, even though I am not trained to use it well enough. He told me I would be able to learn once I used it. I failed to stop her… I failed… Forgive me… please. The figure contemplates as she sounds like she is more like suffering than being a threat.

"I took roleplaying and storytelling with a live-and-let-live attitude, thus the idea of a character doing something out-of-character would add more to the character than letting it stagnate into an archetype or a character. Here: A rapid change to a character must be met with an in-the-moment conflict. Ta-da! A rule to live by!"
