A Showdown in Austrailia

It had become official Tsubasa now was the leader of the 12th Division, one of the few Captains who had raw power that couldn't quite be stopped by any other means then simply combating him. He waited quietly now, he was sure him showing up here would alert the Monsuta Leader, grant it none of his people had bothered to try and stop Tsubasa. The reason for that was rather simply, Tsubasa wasn't giving off a presence and short of looking straight at him. People couldn't detect him from a distance all that well, his reiatsu was kept low. He wasn't interested in the low levels he heard Stefan was on par with Mana. Plus the man was a swords man, he pulled his Zanpakutō from it's sheath as he waited now. Moving the blade slowly around as though in a trance, invisible enemies this was a method of preparing himself, he was certain Stefan would be an extremely interesting enemy to combat no matter how one cut it. He imagined the man's figure as he waited for him to arrive, swordsman had a sixth sense one could say. They knew when another of equal or greater skill was nearby, eager to test their prowess they would do no less then go for it. Tsubasa's crimson and emotionless gaze seemed to decided on things now. He'd heard about Stefan from a number of sources, he began thinking about some of the moves that may happen. His blonde hair seemed to blow slowly in the breeze, most people would of assumed the 12th Division Captain was a weak man. Tsubasa's family knew otherwise, this man was a killer up front and far away. He didn't think that he would find much out of it. Tsubasa simply wanted to gauge himself and Stefan was the best enemy their was for him to properly gauge his skills and see if he could at the very least be effective against Mana. Tsubasa's eyes focused on the images as he envisioned of Stefan, each time they had a slice hit each other at the same time. Tsubasa's eyes seemed to narrow as he got more focused. He needed to move faster, even then it would be better. After all it appeared a man wearing a white haori was swinging his sword around randomly to most. But to a swordsman a master of the art, would notice what he was doing. Tsubasa was preparing for his next fight and this method allowed him to gauge how much strength was required. Tsubasa stopped after a couple minutes, the dance like fight ended. The true dance will begin soon enough after all. Tsubasa had to ponder what type of enemy he would be facing in Stefan, the man was a legend among swordsman and known for his sheer skill in the art. He would learn what he could from watching Stefan in this fight, that was his whole goal to learn and pick things up from Stefan as they fought. He wouldn't be able to fine tune them, but perhaps something from Stefan would help him in his fight with that person. He'd set a goal after all, he had to defeat her above all else. Tsubasa wasn't a member of the first response or even the Assassination Division. But he had his own goals and purposes and didn't care about his job within the Gotei 13. Tsubasa was the brightest mind they had, but he was a warrior first. Something few people understood, but the 12th Division was an odd place for him to be placed. Nist said it was dangerous to let him have such tools at his reach. Tsubasa was working on something special, he was trying to find the correct formula for a special metal. Tsubasa's mind remained focused on now however, for now he would fight a Soan again. |

Tsubasa's eyes fell on the Leader of Monsuta, he arrived as predicted by the male. His time was correct, Tsubasa had lowered his sword for a moment upon the male's arrival. His eyes of crimson seemed almost demonic when they stared into the eyes of Stefan, he was reading him thinking and calculating things. He looked over his body, Stefan's body was built to generate the perfect amount as a swordsman. Tsubasa somewhat envied him, he wasn't designed for pure swordsmanship like the man before him. Tsubasa was designed to kill and fight to win, though his method was a bit odd. He was a talented Shingami and he had skills that made him different from most. Tsubasa would have to use Kidō as well, he raised his sword up taking both hands on the hilt as he took his stance. Something seemed both gentle and strong about his hold on the blade. It didn't seem likely that he would lose his grip to those who looked closely at him. He'd not let his reiatsu go, but Stefan surely sensed that he was strong. Tsubasa was able to pick up on the energy of Stefan fairly easily. The man before him was indeed a master of the Sword, Tsubasa wrote some books. "Tsubasa Unabara, challenges." It was a common thing for swordsman to give their name at least if they were true swordsman when fighting another. Tsubasa had come here to challenge, so he did so. Grant it he didn't say anything after that. He merely stared into the eyes of the man before him, he would learn what he could on the spot now. HE suspected unlike Nist he couldn't get away with holding back here, chances were he would need to use his metal powers. Tsubasa disliked them to a certain extent, claiming they were far from what one would expect. Under the ground he could almost feel it, around them was a good deal of metal. Imagine having your hand on someone's pulse, Tsubasa could sense metal in such a way. To some degree he could detect it within space if he tried. Who would make the first move was the question, would it be Stefan or Tsubasa? It looked more like Stefan would be the first to act, Tsubasa was no fool in this fact he knew well enough about Stefan's skills. But he would need to see them and judge them based on what he would need to do. Before resorting to Kidō he would see if he could face him physically, if not he would add in Kidō along with it. Tsubasa would of rather fought this man as simply one swordsman to another, but it didn't seem likely that he would be able too. Tsubasa's reiatsu hadn't been released yet he restrained it and seemed almost ready for whatever came, he did have his other powers he could tap into if need be. After all Byakko had fangs even sealed, though he wondered how far things would go. Tsubasa would attempt to not go into Shikokai if he could help it. He exhaled a breath, his body relaxed from all points. Or at least it seemed that way, he was ready for Stefan's move he did ponder the reaction of the male. Would he mock the way Tsubasa was to attempt and get a rise out of him? Perhaps make fun of the way he spoke, Tsubasa was a quiet man and didn't care for all the talk that went around. Even in the 12th Division as their leader he didn't speak much. Kidō was supposed to be his greatest weakness, he wondered how high he would need to go to defeat Stefan. Tsubasa had a bad feeling he would need to go fairly high. Tsubasa was capable of performing Kidō up to 97, he didn't quite understand 95-97 perfectly but he could perform them. Below those two Tsubasa could perform without chant or with, he believed with was more effective. But he hoped this could be a simple battle of swords and nothing more, only time would tell as he gazed at the Monsuta Leader. Showing his respect would mean fighting for real using Kidō and metal both at once. This would indeed be a very interesting fight for him, Tsubasa could almost smile. But he wouldn't get his hopes up just yet, this fight was just at the starting gate nothing had happened yet. Only time would tell how this would go, perhaps he could earn one such as Stefan's respect as well. |

His crimson gaze almost narrowed at it, the strength this man had was beyond his own. Speed most likely was as well, Tsubasa couldn't do much to mimic this guy's style of play. His speed from what he could tell, at this instance gave him time for two moves. Tsubasa had to acknowledge pure sword play wasn't going to work at all. Tsubasa suddenly was covered in lighting reiatsu as it shot around him violently, those whom got close could tell what happened next. Tsubasa mumbled the incantation as he blocked the sword strike, then it was said. "Bakudo 61 Rikujokoro." The Six spiritual bands came from six sides of Stefan to strike him, Tsubasa wasn't done though. He was fully aware this man would most likely break it soon. He would do the next couple without chant as he backed up a bit, Tsubasa hadn't been forced to do Kidō like this in a long time. But he instantly could tell the gap in their physical attributes was to big for him to try and fight without Kidō. He may of needed to release as well, but for now he'd do what he could. The lighting had hit Stefan when he came, as it did so did the Six Rods spell he used. Next on the list of Kidō for him to use was a long line, Tsubasa wasn't going to stop here as he had only a short amount of time. "Bakudo 79 Kuyō Shibari." Blacks holes formed around the frame of Stefan now, as the last one began to attempt to form in his chests center. Ok that should be enough for a moment Tsubasa thought now, he shunpoed back a couple steps now as he began the chant for one last Kidō. He had done an excellent combo, the question simply was would it hold up long enough. "Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron! Eternally self-destructing doll of mud! Unite! Repulse! Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness! Hadō 90" Tsubasa took a breath after he finished the last piece of the combo for the man, he hated talking but using the full chant was the only way he could be sure it would work. If his earlier moves had worked Tsubasa's final move on the combo would be this. The sky darkened as the cross boxes with cross shaped spears began to enclose the form of Stefan or to attempt to, they would no doubt stab into him. Tsubasa felt tired from this almost, but the combo was alot of focus to do. Tsubasa had a feeling inside him that this wasn't enough so he got his Zanpakutō ready again, his reiatsu wasn't dry and he could keep going just he had to act so quickly in those moments against that creature. Tsubasa had no choice now, he was a fast man as well. Using Kidō on him was something he'd not expected, but Stefan wouldn't fall to that combo he was sure of that much. Hadō 90 when the chant was used would distort Space and Time, allowing it to be a very effective spell. Tsubasa wasn't sure what else he could do, he'd used a level 90 Kidō and the sky as it was remaining dark. The results were what he needed to see, he got ready to release his Zanpakutō. Tsubasa wasn't going to have a choice if Stefan managed to avoid his Kidō spells. Tsubasa exhaled a breath, calculating on a couple things. Tsubasa could only think of the next hundred moves to make, he thought he got a pretty good idea of the speed Stefan could use at the moment. Tsubasa was fast enough sure, but this guy was in the upper creatures. He doubted this would impress the male, Kidō was after all to most swordsman a weakness. Something they didn't acknowledge for a good reason, it wasn't something that they felt needed to be acknowledged. Tsubasa's body had lighting going around it as he felt the nanobots in his body begin to rebuild the damage he may of taken from the blow Stefan's blade against his may of caused. Tsubasa wasn't some pup who let his guard down. His radar actively kept it's gaze on the male Stefan, Tsubasa was waiting for something. He knew that the Kidō combination he used wasn't going to be enough to end this monster. Though he may take it to the next level, Tsubasa had shown his one skill the thought that he may have to show his other dawned on him. Slowly the metal in the earth around Tsubasa grew closer, it was at the surface now just under the earth. One fine jerk and he could rip it out in any shape, he didn't know what would come next. But he had learned something already from Stefan, he could produce another form of that shock wave. Not something similar by any means, but another version using his lighting or metal perhaps. Tsubasa viewed this as a way to learn, this combo would not kill possible it would hurt the Monsuta Monster, Tsubasa didn't expect him to fall here and honestly he knew what to expect. He was planning for the next several moves in advance. Tsubasa could only picture the male Vizard just blasting the spell away, he'd used a few things. But he'd sized him up and he just didn't see this ending this way not so easily. Tsubasa had used several spells to try and hold him of course, but a man with that much strength wouldn't be held easily. Even if he used 61 one with a chant, which did make it stronger. Tsubasa had barely managed that combo, he would need to think about the next moves. As the sky finally cleared and boxes faded away. What remained Tsubasa would have to see when they vanished. |

"So..no more...Holding back.." Tsubasa readjusted his sword, as electricity began swirling around his frame he was channeling it in such a small degree within his body at such an intense amp that soon he would be showing Stefan something special. As for his other element on his person he carried some pieces though of small pieces of metal. Nothing particular or fantastic, just things in case of situations like this. However Tsubasa wasn't buffing Kidō was an outlet of his that he used. But he did it to prevent himself from using something. Tsubasa was about to do something that was forbidden. When he joined the Gotei 13 he'd not planned to use it. This was a move that he would use rarely, he brought his Zanpakutō up as his reiatsu created electricity far greater within his body. The digits of his fingers seemed to clasp the sword now as he glanced at the figure of Stefan with a cold stare that seemed to be empty. Tsubasa was an unreadable man, he was getting ready to use a style of sword play that he rarely showed. It was something his own clan had never seen, Nist himself hadn't ever seen the sword play. It didn't have a name, it was designed for situations like these. He was slowly doing something special with his body, Tsubasa was capable of turning himself into a Railgun. Now to explain how this works is simple, Tsubasa's body is shot faster then the speed of sound in a direction. Due to the amount of control he held he was capable of changing directions in an instant. Tsubasa gave his sword a swing, though it seemed soft the attack wasn't. The sheer force of the slash broke through and created a wave of force that would slash those whom didn't block it into pieces. Tsubasa watched how Stefan moved, he was getting ready to do something. He could feel the electrical system inside his body manifesting it inside him was tricky. But Tsubasa could do special things when he did this, he could create EMPs among other things. Isolating him in a realm outside of the regular where elements were disabled was a poor choice. Tsubasa's own body was able to generator it's own electricity. However their was another thing he could, his enemy had done him the favor of taking him out of the view of everyone. Now he would repay him with his strength, Tsubasa kept an eye on the male's form. From what he knew this place didn't allow, much if it was the void. Tsubasa watched where Stefan was going to move next should he select to dodge but he suspected he wouldn't dodge it. He vanished in an instant, using the electric step with in combination of the railgun left nothing behind for the person to look at. Except a static like field which he created by moving. Tsubasa wasn't done yet though, he was fast and extremely strong, people often thought he used Kidō simply as a method of the fact he didn't have sword skills. That would be in correct, where would he turn up would be a question of time. Tsubasa's strength was ruthless and it really only left a single option for people whom fought him. Kinetic force was something he was sure this realm couldn't effect, for it was sheer power. Tsubasa's movements were hard to follow for two important reasons, the way he carried himself had changed in an instant. Tsubasa was a killer, he killed people it was how he functioned. Things like this didn't matter as his expression changed, he was no longer the same. Tsubasa's grip on his sword was gentle yet firm as he got ready to follow up his previous slash that Stefan would find out to be strange, soon as it appeared to be going a couple inches from him. It turned sideways and had become a horizontal slash. This wasn't something Stefan would just walk through, the amount of power would cut him if it struck him. Tsubasa's electrical powers were enhancing the power behind his swings and he'd only used a bit of it now. Their was more to be done and he wouldn't stop just where he had. Though Tsubasa was alert and had some strange things behind him, checking for things around him getting close. Almost time after all for Tsubasa to begin fighting in earnest, for now he could. The Void seemed as though those within and without couldn't interact or be seen, this was a completely different realm after all. Perfect place for him to use something like this, though to be fair he could do it anyways. Tsubasa hadn't fought like this in such a long time, lectures aside he no longer cared since nobody could see him. Tsubasa raised his arm up sending out another kinetic swing this time it was a side ways slice that flew from the back of Stefan. Tsubasa was truly moving now, he was a capable swordsman and he was going to show Stefan just how much. He shot forward now, sending his form towards that of Stefan with extreme speed again turning his body into a rail gun. Getting ready for it, he prepared his sword for the next attack. He built up enough static electricity around him from moving that he was ready to make his move against that of Stefan. The swordsman wanted a pure duel of sword skills, he was going to get it now. Tsubasa didn't have to concern himself with people seeing his secrets. So now it was just a duel of swordsman. It was almost time for a crossing, Tsubasa shot himself towards Stefan from the front now as he moved. His reiatsu burning as he moved forward, waiting for the needed moment. He had his sword ready, calculating how fast Stefan could move and each choice. He came up with a suitable counter, watching the muscles of the male closely. He got ready to perform the option that was most likely, he knew what needed to be done to show Stefan that Tsubasa wasn't just a Kidō specialist but a fine swordsman. His strength and speed were far beyond what they appeared, they were powerful and capable of doing things that people whom didn't know the 12th Division Captain had rarely been like this one, Tsubasa was a murderer and he adopted the look of one. The way he moved showed nothing of what was coming next, he was capable of hiding his next move from being read. It was something Tsubasa himself seemed to be very capable of doing, the kinetic sword style was his own master piece. But he was about to show off far more then that, Tsubasa was capable of using all the Unabara sword styles as a singular being. For now Ringo and his were enough, if more were needed...More would be show for this Showdown in Australia. |
