Hikiru Kuro: The Ice Prince (Done)

Personality: He is that one person you'd be honored to fall to. He will make anyone's hair stand up straight. His cold eyes strikes fear and weakness into those who dare look at him. He's someone you'd hate to sit next to in class. Ironicly, he is the most kind person you'll ever meet. Once you get passed the ice on his heart, he is the single sweetest guy that ever even existed. He makes the prince of a girl's dream look like a bitch compared to him. There's only one problem with him. If you fall in love with him but he has no feelings for you, expect your heart to be crushed into dust. Although he will attempt to help you find someone that can rebuild your crushed heart. He is sometimes clumsy and can mess things up instantly, whether it's on purpose or an accident.

Hikiru has a dream of one day becoming king of his own frozen paradise where he would sit in his frozen throne with his queen next to him. Sadly becoming king will take quite a while, so at the moment, he is currently looking for his princess. So, whenever he has fallen for a girl, he'll usually try to treat her differently from everyone else by helping her in any situation (other than those only girls can help with) and somewhat ignore everyone else. Once he has swept the girl off her feet, he will then become her guardian forever. There's only one problem with Hikiru. Whenever he finds a girl he likes, the girl always ends up leading him on without even mentioning they have a bf already until the last second. This is his curse due to his horrible past. And so, he is still searching, hoping one day, this curse will be lifted, and he will find his princess.

Although Hikiru may look cool and calm, his darkness within is slowly building and will eventually take over his sanity. Past his strong willed spirit, he holds a dark power of insanity that sometimes breaks free. In the time that it does slip out, he will slice and dice anything that even moves. He will lose his mind to the darkness within and become overfilled with bloodlust. Once his insanity breaks free entirely, this world will become a frozen chaos that nobody can stop. He is still searching for a way to end the insanity, but sadly, there is no sign of curing his madness. Luckily his will is one of the strongest that can hold back this insanity for a good amount of time. He should be able to find a cure before his will is completely devoured by madness. Although, there could be things that trigger the madness within him to either reduce the time he has left, or increase the time. The more he fights, the more he lets out his madness and becomes a bit more sane, but too much bloodshed and he will end up increasing his insanity. It all just depends.

PhatomTech Brain:

Zanpakutô Spirit: Hikiru carries two Zanpakutô's. One's name is Fubuki (a katana) and the other's name is Yami. Fubuki is very cold-hearted spirit that will always push for Hikiru to go further into the battle. His skin is as pure white as the snow and he has dark blue eyes, like an icey abyss, that seems to give people a freezing chill. He has long hair that's as white as the snow. He wears a light blue cloak that has a broken ice design on it. Yami can somewhat go insane, but has a soft spot for Hikiru, due to his situation as a kid. Yami can sometimes can be sometimes be eccentric in the worst possible times. She has jet black hair that go down to her knees and pure black skin. Her eyes are a bright yellow and wears a black and purple dress. She sometimes tries to argue with Fubuki, but in the end Fubuki is too calm and always ends up getting Yami to be calm down.

Sealed Zanpakutô: Fubuki looks like an ordinary katana but his blade is pure white while his hilt is pure black. Yami's staff area is pure black while her blade and spear at the ends of the scythe are white.

Shikai Description: Hikiru's eyes begin to become as dark and icey as Fubuki's eyes. Ice forms on Hikiru's right arm from his fingertips to his forearm as a dark cloud covers his left arm from his fingertips to his forearm. Fubuki is slightly covered by an icey mist around the blade as the black hilt begins to have a mysterious black aura form around it and his hand while Yami is slightly shrouded in a dark cloud as black streaks form from the staff onto the white blade. The temperature around him drops and becomes so violantly cold, it begins to snow.

Shikai Abilities: Hikiru is able to form ice on Fubuki and slash it at the enemy as a wave. He can do the same for Yami, but instead with darkness. His speed and power increase 5 fold. He can throw Yami into the air and shoot dark rays with his left hand as he can through Fubuki into the air and shoot ice shards. He can disappear into a cold, dark mist and surround the enemy with it as ice shards and dark rays fire at the enemy from all directions. If the enemy barely touches the ice shards, the ice will then spread throughout their body and freeze them, beginning from where the ice shard had made contact to him/her. The only thing is, the ice spreads at a slow pace so they are able to break the ice, but if not broken immediately, the ice could have internally frozen the area it had spread to, disabling the use of that body part.

The entire area is frozen solid due to the temperature drop as the snow becomes black. His breath is even colder than the area he had frozen.

Bankai Abilities: He can transform his hands into ice daggers or turn his hands into shadow daggers. He can also slam his hands onto the ground as multiple giant spiked glaciers shoot out of the ground that are shrouded in a dark pulse cloud. The ice glaciers on his back can be used as a defense mechanism that shoots out at the enemy with the ice glaciers or fire shadow rays from each ice glacier if he comes to close. They can also create an ice barrier that surrounds Hikiru entirely or absorb reiatsu to fill up his energy. Hikiru is able to move faster than his Shikai, but rarely does because he must make the ice glaciers absorb back into his back and leave only a small amount of ice out that can still manage to absorb reiatsu. Like how Hikiru can surround the enemy in a cold mist in Shikai, he can do the same in Bankai. Only the difference is, the area becomes pitch black, while all you can barely see is the black snow surrounding your feet. You then become trapped in an ice dome but you can't really tell due to the darkness. Ice glaciers then sprout out of the dome and ground and attempt to stab you from different directions. More glaciers sprout out of the first glaciers, and more sprout out of those glaciers, and so on until you are eventually trapped, frozen, or dead.

History/Background: Hikiru wasn't always the frozen character he is now. Back when he was a human, he lived quite a depressing life. When he was four years old, his mother was killed by a homocidal freak that went around the city killing people just for the pure bloodlust. It all happened right before his eyes. They were walking back from the groceries, when she stopped entirely due to fear. Hikiru kept trying to figure out what was wrong when he saw the maniac with the knife in his hand. The maniac charged at them while Hikiru's mother used herself as a shield to protect him as the knife stabbed right into her back. She held Hikiru as with her last breath, she wished Hikiru to get strong enough to protect everyone from harm. After that, Hikiru's father starting drinking himself happy, attempting to rid himself of the sadness. By the age of 13, Hikiru's father, while drunk, crashed into a car and spun off the bridge as he drowned in the water. Soon enough, Hikiru was so lonely, he'd give anything to be with a friend. The next year, Hikiru met a girl by the name of Jennah, which would then make him wish he was dead before all of this happened. She had taken his lonelyness as an opportunity to play with his heart. She had him like a puppet, breaking his heart by cheating on him with other guys who were nothing but empty shells, like himself, and gave Hikiru no option but to come crawling back to her. She had done this for almost a year. Until the day came he reversed the situation he was in, and somehow ended up having her crawl back to him, due to Hikiru freeing all the other guys out of Jennah's grasp. When she pleaded to return to him, Hikiru denied her and left Jennah to rot in a pit like she diserved. Soon after his 15th birthday, Hikiru somehow met the same psycho maniac that had killed his mother, and drove his father to the point of drinking himself dead. Hikiru balled up his hand into a fist, glared at the maniac, and charged, throwing a dynamic punch with so much power, the fist nailed the maniac right in the jaw before he could even make a move. Hikiru swung at the maniac with a kick to his ribs, making the maniac drop his knife as he was knocked into the road. Hikiru picked up the knife and walked towards the maniac, with bloodlust in his eyes, the same bloodlust the maniac had. By the time Hikiru had reached the maniac, he had stopped to notice this is unjust....but by the time he realized that, a car came and ran them both over.

Now he has ended up in the soul society, where he had a much better life than he could have ever dreamed. He had made many friends that he lived with for years, until one day a menos grande appeared and destroyed half the city before the soul reapers could kill it. In a single blast, all his dearest friends where obliterated. He was yet again, alone....so very alone....he was about to give up all hope entirely. So one day, he went into the woods to find a hollow that would devour him, but instead of a hollow to be found, he found not one Zanpakutô, but two Zanpakutôs, Yami and Fubuki. He finally had a reason to live again, but as soon as his hopes started to return, he had ended up by an army of hollows that were planning to attack the soul society once more. More than 100 hollows, including a few menos grandes, had all surrounded him. He had cut through every one of them with Fubuki and Yami, without even breaking a sweat. When he returned to the soul society, carrying Fubuki and Yami, he had stumbled apon an army of soul reapers that were supposed to fight the army of hollows. When he had told them that he had killed all of the hollows, some laughed at how a child without much experience could have done it. Others just stared at him like he might've been joking. Soon enough, a scout team went in to see how many there might've been. When the scouts returned, they had found the 100 hollows, but they weren't alive. They were frozen and cut up into bits. As soon as the soul reapers had heard that, they all stared at Hikiru and were so amazed, they're jaws dropped as they all yelled out, "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!" Soon after, head captain Yamamoto had issued Hikiru to become a soul reaper. And so, Hikiru is now eligible to be a luitenant, but has decided not to become one until he has found a captain he can serve under and in hopes to surpass him/her.

Roleplay Sample: (this is a more descriptive part of when he went into the woods looking for a hollow so he could be devoured)
The destroyed soul slowly wandered deep into the forbidden forest, for hopes that he might run into a hollow that might end his pain and suffering. He reached a point where the sunlight was blocked entirely due to the trees as he continued to head towards the strange area. He has his foot caught under a tree root as he fell over and falls into the cold, dirt ground. When he stands up, he realizes a katana whose blade is pure white while the hilt is blackened. He walks toward the mysterious sword one foot at a time. He reaches for it without hesitation and draws it from the ground as he gazes at its frozen glory. As he is about to continue his walk, beginning to rethink what he's doing, a rustle in the leaves from the bushes catches his attention as he holds the katana ready to strike whatever may appear. He quietly and steadily walks towards the bushes when suddenly a scythe falls out of the bushes. He looks behind the bush as he tries to comprehend why a scythe randomly fell from the bush. He picks up the scythe as he looks at the dark staff and white blade. He finally decides that the idea of being devoured by a hollow to distract him from his pain and suffering would have only put him in more pain and suffering.

As he walks out of the area and heads out of the forest, his walk is interrupted by a few hollows. "Well, well, what's a youg soul like you doing around the forest at this time?" said one of the hollows. "He looks like a DELICIOUS little fellow. Let's eat this snack and head back for the main chorse!" Two of the hollows launch out towards Hikiru, but before they could touch him, they would stop as the other few hollows stare at them confusingly. "What's wrong you two? Can't eat that little brat?" The two hollows would appear to have been cut in half as they fade away. The other hollows become furious at Hikiru as a few more charge at him and he does the same to them as he did to the first two. One hollow runs away to tell the rest of hollows of the situation.

The hollow comes back with over 100 hollows behind him, including a few Menos Grandes. "Is this little kid really trying to stop our plan to overun the soul society now?" says one of the hollows. "Lets eat him and get this over with already." Mostly all of the weaker hollows attempt to tackle Hikiru all at once, but Hikiru just stands there and only whispers, "..Sink into the Abyss..Fubuki, Yami." In a blink of an eye, every one of the hollows that charged at Hikiru had been frozen solid as a dark aura seemed to slice them in half. Each hollow faded away as the hollows that remained were ready to attack Hikiru with everything they had left. Every Menos Grande surrounded Hikiru and charged up a Cero. As they were about to fire, he disappeared into a dark mist. Every Cero hit at the one spot and had created a crater. The mist surrounded the hollows as ice shards and dark rays surrounded them entirely. Every ice shard and dark ray fired at each of them as they all disappeared at once. The mist cleared as Hikiru reappeared out of the mist and walked out of the forest.
