Walking to the gate of Karakura City High, a shaggy man observes the school in a yellow, confronting tee-shirt saying, "YOU DON'T LOVE BANANA!" on the front and "BANANA LOVES YOUR SWEET LIPS! :D" on the back with a pair of blue denim jeans that overlaps his black pair of running sneakers. As his dark brown, fiery low ponytail waves to the passing breeze, the man strokes his even shaggier beard and mustache while his gray eyes hidden behind the thick lens of his glasses.

"It is close to summer vacation, so I can take the chance to advertise to my potential students for the next time when school starts. Perhaps even acquire apprentices for my theater troop." The man speaks as he is clearly aware that he is not meant to be on the job until the next time that school returns from summer vacation because of concerns about his injury. Would that stop him from at least giving his students an opportunity to get some paychecks during their summer vacation?

The injury was possibly a phantom agony afflicting his right leg as he was consistently leaning on his classic umbrella that has a black vinyl awning, strong aluminum skeleton, oak wooden crook for a handle and a metal peg that extends proudly beyond the awning. As the only American of the school, he was the most outlandish person that the school could have considered a human in Japan, yet most knowledgeable of western cultures in terms of theater, a rare piece of history to survive the demon attacks. Some school girls who pass by him often giggle at the sight of the text on the back of his yellow tee-shirt, while the guys hardly look at him because he is just too weird for them. Pulling out of his left pocket was a can of Coca Cola Zero as he pops it open with his index finger. He begins drinking as he walks into the school.

Theme Title: An Upbeat Child (Rachel's Theme)

As he is walking into the school, the man hears the crackling noise and can make an educated guess about the next thing. As the girl was going to leap onto his back, the man shifts his footing and manages to catch her as she wraps her legs and arms around him. He smiles as the girl was asking for a piggyback ride not once, but twice. It was a long while since he is back in the school and for the whole school year, his class, 1-S was set up as a study hall instead of Technical Theatre and the Performing Arts. Yet the girl who just jumped on his back was a welcoming surprise.

He chuckles as he keeps walking, "Alright, Dare-Gakusei." Shortly after, he hears her whispering into his ear about wanting a banana with his silly shirt before he replies with a jolly tone, "No thank you, I already have breakfast. You want a banana?" Suddenly, the can of Coca Cola Zero was snatched from his hand, which would hardly bother him since he cannot chase her around. Another thing that would be noticeable to older students was the man's dog was not with him this time. Usually, this teacher brings his dog along due to his handicap that would require a constant companion by his side or in the same room. However, to the freshmen like the girl, meeting the man in person was just as new as meeting a new teacher midway into the school year.

As the man walks into the classroom of 1-S, the classroom was considered larger than any classroom in the building as it has one half being a design studio with over thirty drafting tables and the other half is a large empty space with wood racks and tool cabinets neatly placed along the walls. Next to the large double-door exit leading out into the sport field are two large cabins; one being an office with a nameplate on the door saying, [J.B. Smith aka "U"] and a shed for high-risk power tool parts like tanks and modules for welders and blades for table saws and band saws. Professionally, only "U" can enter the shed to acquire these parts and there was a warning where if he finds out one of his students was found in the shed, they will be suspended from further activities, thus an automatic flunking for ignoring safety regulations. The only exception to that rule is for those who are certified professional operators of these power tools, which means "U" will even test the professionals with mock tools to make sure they followed safety regulations down to the letter. To "U," in a world where man can swing a sword at any problem, it is up to people like himself to keep them from hurting other people because of their stupidity in handling something they do not know about.

He walks over to the girl and asks in a polite, charming tone, "I will like my soda back, please. It has my medicine in it to keep my pains down." If the girl observed well, she would notice that the man was using the classic umbrella like a cane, indicating an injury in his right leg. At the desk next to the girl, the man sits down and waits for the girl to hand him back his soda.

Theme Name: The Curiosity of the Crazy Old Fool

UHCM looks at the circular saw blade that is in possession of Rachel Dare and normally, there would be an explosion of personality to be expected. However, as much as the secret history and curiosities of this eccentric instructor, he could go the whole way around and be figuratively in China when people are expecting him in the United States, a world away from the truth. He calmly pinches the saw blade with his right thumb and index finger and plucks it from Rachel's hand before examining it closely. He then slips his left index finger through the socket in the middle of the saw blade and flicks his right hand to the right, causing the blade to spin with its teeth's edges, not against the teeth's points. As the saw blade spins round and round, UHCM looks into Rachel's eyes with a calm expression as if he is seeing through the trickery. With a goofy British accent, he says before smiling, "Hallo."

He proceeds to his deduction, "Normally, I would freak out and flunk you out of my next course because there are tools in that lil'shed that can split your lil'head in two. Quite a bloody mess it would make, does it not? Why I am not doing that now? Tis a notion of belonging; a mark to say that it is mine, not something that you made from thin-" He cuts himself off of the lecture to produce a rose from behind the spinning saw blade with his right hand as he passes it to Rachel before he concludes the sentence, "-air." He collects the can of Coca-Cola Zero and takes a swig of it. In truth, UHCM does not know where Rachel acquired the saw blade from, but given for his theatrics, he uses the statement to add emphasis to the mystery of his most recent appearing rose act.

He stands up and walks to the front of the white board as his classic umbrella taps onto the smooth concrete floor. He then places the saw blade on the lectern that faces to the drafting desks with a nonchalant tone of his comment, "This will stay here until I gave out my message for this summer. I am sorry about not being here throughout the semester because of my periodically-chronic mobility-impairment, but for this summer I will need some help." Would seem strange that a teacher of his league of skills would be asking students of 1-S to assist him, but given to his record, he always seem to have something planned out. He leans onto the lectern and places his left elbow on top of it to support his head as he announces,

"I already sent out electronic and physical invitations to you, Yuudeshi Shatari, Saihossoku Shisome, and Zumizimu Suzu, and along with other members of the school. For the summer, I am accepting a few apprentices who would follow my footsteps become the next-" He cuts himself off again and poses with his right arm curled up and over his bicep and points his left arm and hand straight into the air off to his left, posing like a strong man as he completes the sentence, "Theater Master!" He straightens up and gestures his left hand towards Rachel, "Or Theater Mistress. Anyhow! There can only be one who can become the Theater Master or Mistress. There can only be up to four apprentices and becoming the Theater Master is no small feat. The accommodations are free housing for rest and relaxing in several locations including the Soul Society, the Sugiuran Realm, the Iramasha Island and more; there will be a budget of a hundred thousand yen per apprentice so they can have food and drinks and necessities, and n top of it, the four apprentices will be working along side with me for productions and meeting with patrons." He awaits Rachel's reply.

Being reputably impulsive, UHCM was quick to respond to the girl's question with a gymnastic flop to the floor as the umbrella holding him up slips on the concrete floor. The thud was audible enough assure humor to students who like to laugh at the silly man's failure to represent himself properly. Within a blink of an eye, UHCM leaps back up onto his feet and there were little tapping noise coming from the opened door as it traces within the collection of desks. "Glad to answer your curiosity!" UHCM boasts his confident claim to know these places. There was a pause as UHCM walks up to Rachel's drafting table. He sits down onto the chair that he used to be on and takes a good gander into Rachel's eyes. The smirk of confidence and a glow of the reflection in UHCM's glasses inspires intellect. Could it be the intelligent side of UHCM that students claimed to be uncommon, yet often mistaken for his ego trip?

He instantly leans back on the chair and cackles out his answer, "I've been there and yet I can't tell you, silly lady!" UHCM laughs to lighten up the vibe with his goofiness. Thinking it is assuring to inform her about his intentions, he uncovers some intentions behind the apprenticeship, "The point of learning is to experience it, not live off of what others said about it. Besides, I work in these regions because I know they are allies; thus we don't have to worry about scary monsters. If anything else, I will also include physical training and self defense so you and the others can defend yourselves against unexpected intruders if it is likely."
