Generally Thanatos is exceptionally calm being. Such that he rarely shows emotion upon his face if he does so at all. His voice rarely conveys emotion. All in all, Thanatos is a mask of calm. Though more often than not this calm is destroyed in battle in which the blood-lust and hunger surface.

•••••Distant•••••

Due to his nature as a Sueki Thanatos had begun to distance himself from other beings. First it began with the few friends he had, then family, until eventually he preferred to be alone. This is not to say Thanatos doesn't indulge himself in sexual pleasures. Rather aside from those he's involved with in such a way Thanatos only allows himself to become close to those that manage to worm their way into his cold heart.

•••••Battle-Hungry•••••

While he thirsts for blood like all/most Sueki, Thanatos has a greater hunger for that which spills blood. In other words, conflict, battle, war, etc. When near conflict Thanatos finds himself drawn to it for reasons unknown to even him. Perhaps it's truly just because of the greater potential for blood, or maybe its something else. All Thanatos knows is he loves battle, and everything to do with it. More often than not if a battle lasts too long Thanatos loses himself to a battle-hungry blood-lust.

Perhaps the greatest personality change in Thanatos is his new found pride in who he is. Before becoming a Sueki he could have cared less about being above others, but now its become a different story. Thanatos has begun to look down upon everything weaker than himself, even other Sueki to a degree. In battle this pride could prove to be fatal one day.

A new fracture in Thanatos's personality if you will say. Since becoming a Sueki a part of Thanatos has felt as if he no longer has a purpose in his now endless life. This has begun to affect other facets of his mind, causing him to have wondered alone for the last few hundred years trying to find a purpose.

•••••Appearance Information•••••

•Appearance:
Thanatos is a young Sueki in appearance, maintaining the appearance of a teenage male around 17. Possessing a well built body Thanatos stands at six foot one, and weighs in around one hundred and seventy pounds. His normally dull-grey eyes often have a habit of becoming the golden color they normally do in his Umbra State. His short white-grey hair rarely needs to be tended too, refusing to grow and always somehow holding the same style. Generally Thanatos is seen wearing jeans, a plain shirt, a trench coat, black gloves, sunglasses, and wearing a blade strapped on his back.

•••••Powers & Abilities•••••

•Racial Powers:

• Sueki do not retain any Soul State, Chi from humans or Demon powers or abilities.
  
  
• Kumopu: The ability to burst into an artificial veil of shadows and dash to a target location at extreme speeds and reform back to your usual form. This ability is the Sueki version of Shunpo and Sonido, granting them similar speeds but with a shadowy visual effect. During the moment they are shadows, they become invincible but cannot attack until they have left the shadowy state. The state will only last between the jumping point and landing point.
  
  
• Kumitsu: The ability to cover oneself in an artificial veil of shadow that blocks of Reitsu from the outside and world and from within. This allows any Sueki that has covered themselves in shadows to become undetectable. Also, if used at night or in very dark places, the Sueki becomes invisible to the naked eye.
  
  
• Blood Sucking Nymphs: All Sueki characters live off of two things: sex and blood. If either of these are ignored, then the Sueki will start to age rapidly and turn to ash during the night of the 7th day without drinking blood or having sex. The withdrawal symptoms slowly start to becomes noticeable on the 5th day and get worse by the seventh when the Sueki will look about 100 years old. After drinking blood, the Sueki will feel full and no longer hungry. After having sex, the sueki will feel energised. After both has occurred within 7 days of each other, the body will deteriorate in age becoming more young. The actual age it stops at changes depending on the person.
  
  
• Child of the Night: When outside in the light of the moon or covered in natural darkness and shadow, the Sueki's body begins to react faster, move quicker, think rapidly and generally become much more aware and agile than if the sun was out. This also means, training and fighting in the moonlight or dark places enhances their potential, increasing their general power by around 10% giving them a small advantage over others that are not one with the night in combat. It's also no surprise that some Sexual activities are held on balconies or in the nearby forest due to the moonlight and darkness that envelops them. It is said to enhance them in the youthing process.
  
  
• Solar Frailty: Sueki have a very big weakness: The sun. They cannot come into contact with solar energy or sunlight otherwise the ageing process within their bodies starts to rapidly react and they will die within ten minutes. This makes it difficult for Sueki to fight or do anything while the sun is out and have a disadvantage against solar based characters. Fire, electricity and other non-sunlight abilities do not cause this effect. Thus, candles, light-bulbs etc do not age them.
  
  
• Human State: This is not a form in the slightest. Sueki are capable of entering a sort of meditation that shrinks their fangs so they appear to look like normal teeth. They also deny reitsu access to their powers in this state of meditation. They can move and react as normal as though they were 5-5 tier humans. However, holding this state for too long eventually tires the user.
  
  
• Reproduction Control: Sadly, Male Sueki are incapable of this trait. Women however, are able to use it at will whenever they wish. By reducing certain messages from the brain to their body, the female Sueki can stop their reproductive organs from working for a short period of time. How long they can stop it varies, but it allows them to forcefully reject pregnancy.
  
  
• Sexual Energies: Sueki require sex to survive. However, how does this actually work? It is not necessarily the act of a man and woman making love, but it can also be done between two people of the same gender and even by oneself. The more people however, the more powerful the energies are. As long as all participants climax, the energies are spread through one anothers bodies as one. It is common for people that require this kind of ecstasy to resort to incest between members of their own families due to their needs. Others take it out on other races, as it does not require all participants to be a Sueki for the energies to work.
  

•Unique Powers:

• Air/Wind Affinity:
  For unknown reasons Thanatos has come to develop an extreme affinity for the air itself. Not only is he able to empower his air/wind based abilities due to this, but it opens a huge door of powers for Thanatos including pressure manipulation, vorpal sharpness, a mimic of telekinesis, or even create electricity from the air itself. Though at the most basic levels(i.e outside of Umbra State) Thanatos is able to do the following with just his air affinity; create winds of any strength, supply one with unlimited oxygen, remove the air/oxygen from an area, create blades/whips/walls of wind, and even fly through the air.
  
  
• Vorpal Affinity:
  Thantos has such an affinity with air/wind that is has developed a secondary affinity. This secondary affinity, or Vorpal Affinity allows Thanatos to control sharpness in any object they touch, either imbuing or taking the quality of sharpness away. This can be used to cause sharp edges to cut even better, while non-edged or blunt surfaces can be imbued to cut through nearly anything. Thanatos could even create traps out of items with this, like a doorknob cutting anyone who grasps it. The most difficult application of this affinity comes in removing sharpness from an object. If given a moments time, and enough concentration Thanatos can even apply this ability to blunt even the sharpest objects. Unfortunately this portion of the ability has yet to be fine-tuned for rapid use in combat(therefore he could not see an attack coming, and blunt the object in that moment).
  
  
• Armory of the Gale:
  Using a combination of his air and vorpal affinities, although both are already so similar, Thanatos can create a number of weapons. Specificly Thanatos uses his air affinity to shape the weapons, and control them, while using the vorpal affinity to make them sharper than any metal blade aside from a Zanpakutō etc. The weapons can be anything bladed, from knives to polearms/halberds. Thanatos can create and control a maximum of ten weapons at any time. The weapons themselves only have a durability equal to Thanatos control over his powers, thus if one has greater strength then Thanatos's Umbra Control they could disperse the weapons with ease. *If Shadow Affinity would be better to use than U.C lemme know*

• Flowing Skin:
  A small side-affect of Thanatos's air affinity. The 'flowing skin' as he calls it is a simple, and extremely fine layer of air flowing over his body. Said layer of air can be condensed via reiatsu/other energies in order to block simpler attacks. Aside from this, the flowing skin's best use at this level is basically keeping Thanatos clean, or his scent from being caught by others.
  
  
• Enhanced Pressence:
  No matter how closed off an area is from any-type of airflow the arrival of Thanatos in an area causes an unique effect. Said effect is either a complete change in air currents, centred around Thanatos. Or a room with no air-flow will suddenly have one. Sometimes this could be a gentle breeze, a light wind, or a complete hurricane level gale.
  
  
• Enhanced Agility(Passive):
  When Thanatos became a Sueki he noticed one thing right away. His agility now compared to when he was human had changed immensely. So much that to this point Thanatos has yet to encounter a more agile Sueki than himself. Due too this Thanatos is able to slip from one motion into another with immense ease, effectively dodge attacks, and essentially can do gymnastic/martial art/etc movements with ease.
  
  
• Enhanced Speed(Passive):
  An enhanced muscular and skeletal structure due to becoming a Sueki has allowed Thanatos to develop a natural level of speed in which he could outrun cars travelling the highway at 90-100km/h. The only issue he seems to have is that his top running speed without using a shunpo equivalent seems to be roughly 110km/h, this speed can only be maintained for short bursts. Otherwise Thanatos's body can handle his enhanced speeds quite well. Adds a base tier to Thanatos's speed(i.e, if his speed skill would have normally been beginner, it'd be adept because of this.)
  
  

•••••Umbra State•••••

•Umbra State Appearance: For Thanatos when changing into his Umbra State there are few physical changes. Those changes are as follows; his hair becomes slightly longer and spikier while gaining red highlights. Red markings appear beneath the eyes, and his eyes become golden. Mentally is a whole different story, this Thanatos is a calm, cold, killing machine. Beneath the calm persona lies a blood-thirsty, battle-hungry being itching to escape.

• Shredding Spheres:
  Thanatos is able to manipulate the air in the area to create sealed spheres of 'vacuum space' in which there is absolutely no air. These can be created anywhere within five feet of Thanatos. Attacks using any source of air or oxygen become absolutely useless in these spheres. If one is caught inside one Thanatos can detonate it, causing anything trapped within to be torn apart with no mercy. Thanatos can create four of these spheres at a time, but can only detonate two at a time due to detonations requiring him to 'snap' his fingers.
  
  
• Hyper Enhanced Speed:
  In Umbra State Thanatos is able to enshroud his body in the winds themselves, while also removing any resistance from the wind infront of him. This allows Thanatos to move at much greater speeds, though only for a small period of time. When used Thanatos's speed raises a tier (adept would become advanced) for a five post period, though it can be pushed to seven if Thanatos is willing to suffer some muscle tears & a slight reduction in speed.
  
  
• Aerokinetic Combat:
  As long as Thanatos is in Umbra State he has an exo-skeletal layer of wind roaming his body. This is used to extend the reach of his physical attacks, while also making blunt attacks sharp. Additionally it can be used to block anything weaker than a shikai or equivalent from an equal or weaker foe. Essentially this is an improvement on his previous Flowing Skin.
  
  
• Electricity Manipulation:
  Only currently possible in his Umbra state due to the finer control. Thanatos is able to manipulate the atoms in the air themselves, making the necessary arrangements for ionization allowing him to create electricity literally from thin air. At this point in time the most Thanatos has come to do with this ability is cause large overcharged bolts of lightning, which can be split into smaller bolts up to 5 times with the command 'Split'.

•••••1991•••••

Thanatos was born on a simple, but warm autumn day in September. His parents were two ordinary people, newly married just a year ago, and soon to be parents only a few months later. Thus nine months later, in September, a white haired child was born with dull grey eyes. The child's loving parents would name him Thanatos. Once home from the hospital life for the family was quite hellish for a while, the two new parents hardly ready to raise a child.

Alas, even with the slight initial troubles the first five years of Thanatos' life went by well. The child was well taken care of, both parents doing better and better with him each passing day. Then when Thanatos was five the troubles began...

Inside a child's room, the child it belonged to could not be found. Why? Simple.. Life in Thanatos' family had begun to get rough. His father had become abusive, and his mother withdrawn. Of course the two still managed to care for him, but it mattered not. While his parent's showed affection in the open, Thanatos knew behind closed doors it was different. His father had begun beating his mother shortly after his fifth birthday, and has continued to do so ever since. And thus, this is the reason we find Thanatos curled up in his closet.

Tears streamed down the poor child's face as the screams and cries from his mother, combined with the yells of his father slowly scarred him. Each scar digging deep into his mentality. Soon after the beatings began Thanatos had noticed his mothers withdrawn self, no longer did her eyes shine with the love they once did. No.. they had become dull and submissive, and for a five year old to notice this could only speak for his growing maturity.

But not matter how mature a child may be, a child is still a child. And when such conflicts continue, the mental and emotional scarring could only get worse and worse. Over the year Thanatos became cold towards his father, and did what he could to try and make his mother happy once again. It was for naught. Seeing what Thanatos was becoming enraged his father. The beatings his mother became worse, bruises and scars were beginning to show up daily now, only serving to push Thanatos further.

Now ten years old not much had changed in Thanatos' life. The lad had no friends because of how cold he had become towards others. His mother had passed away three years ago after being hospitalized. The cause, an unusually severe beating from the father. Since then the father has sat in a jail cell, in the end charged with murder as the injuries he had caused killed his wife. That had been when Thanatos changed into his now cold self, the friends he had now lost. Daily Thanatos would visit his father, if only to remind him that he had not forgotten. Twelve years later everything would change.. Thanatos' perspective on life, who he was, what he wanted... everything would change.

It had been a long twelve years. Thanatos had to learn to take care of himself now that he lacked a family. And up until this point in life Thanatos had the luck to avoid anything spiritual, mostly due to recent conflicts in history. Of course this was too end as eventually something would come for any human giving off spiritual energies. Of course there were other things lurking out there that didn't feed of spiritual energies, but blood and sexual energies instead.

One particular night, shortly before Thanatos' twenty first birthday his life would change forever. And it would all begin on a bus-ride home... Thanatos had been out and decided to take the bus home. This would be the choice that would change his life forever. Roughly five kilometers from his home the bus was struck by something. Too normal people it had seemed as if the air itself had collided with the bus, sending it skidding off the road. Before he knew it the bus was being lifted into the air. Thanatos could only look on in disbelieve as he saw a giant form that seemed to shimmer, its grip on the bus.

Before he knew it Thanatos was in the middle of a battle field. The hollow that had attacked the bus had attracted the attention of Shinigami and other Hollow. Within moments the area was being torn apart by the super-natural powers Thanatos was witnessing. Eventually the lad would lose consciousness, failing to see the end of the fight and the defeat of the Shinigami. The victorious Hollow had begun to devour the souls of the people around before finally coming upon Thanatos. As the beast opened its maw to devour the human a clawed hand burst forward from its mask. As the Hollow faded away a beautiful woman was revealed. Her hair hung beyond her waist, her skin pale yet perfection, and her eyes.. Eyes that pierced the soul, looking into every single facet. This woman was a Sueki, or as Humans called them, Vampire.

Looking upon the unconscious male the Sueki smiled to herself, happy that at least on person had survived the Hollow to become her next meal... Or perhaps something more, she had yet to decide. Picking up the male the Sueki left the area heading to a hidden safe-house of her own. There she would heal the man before deciding whether to feed on, or turn him.

•••••Arc 2: The Turning•••••
•••••2013•••••

The female Sueki had made up her mind en-route to her hideout. She wouldn't feed of this male.. No she would turn him, and potentially train him. Upon arriving at her destination the woman took advantage of the human's unconscious state... it would make turning him all that much easier, if he even survived the process. Hooking an IV up between herself and the human she began the process, transferring large amounts of her own blood into him. Ten minutes later she stopped the process, and waited. If she had succeeded he would awaken in a few hours, if not then he'd never awaken again.

Hours later, roughly four hours from dawn Thanatos woke. Opening his eyes everything was but a blur at first. Then he felt it, the abnormal power coursing through his body.. Moments later he felt more, an immense hunger and lust. Looking around to get his barring the newly born Nyu-Sueki spotted the female Suike who had turned him. Noting how she appeared weak Thanatos could not help what was about to come over him. In the blink of an eye he had the female pinned, her weakened state not enough to fight off Thanatos. Blood dripped down her collar, Thanatos' having bit into her jugular and now draining her. Alas that was not the end, driven by instinct Thanatos then went on to claim the woman infront of him. By the time the sun would rise hours later Thanatos will have become a full-blooded Sueki, the one that had turned him dead, turned to dust. Thanatos himself lay asleep on the ground, his new life only just beginning.

•••••Arc 3: Welcome to Eternity•••••

Over the next seven day's Thanatos found that he would age if he did not feed on blood or sexual energies. The ageing process had surprised the newly born Sueki. The first day of ageing he had appeared to be in his mid to late twenties, a welcome surprise. It was the second day that began to worry the Sueki, his physical age seemed to jump not one, but two decades. Thanatos now resembled a man in his late thirties or early forties, By the fourth day Thanato's would age through another five decades, appearing to be in his early nineties at this point. The sixth day shows little more ageing aside from the further weakening of Thanatos's body and strength. Day seven, the last chance for Thanatos to feed before death. The Sueki could hardly manage to move on his own now, his body now aged beyond one hundred years. His white hair having dulled during the process, becoming a sickly grey and dragging a few feet behind him.

It was after this experience that the Sueki made sure never to allow himself to age beyond the first few days. He simply didn't like the feeling of being an old man. Nor did he enjoy having to re-cut his hair. Oddly enough even after becoming a Sueki Thanatos tried to live life as he normally would have, only to finding that being in the sunlight was a horrifying experience. He found not only did it cause his body to age much quicker than the norm, he found himself feeling much weaker than before. But the Sueki had luck on his side, having barely stepped outside the compound he was in. After that experience Thantos made sure never to enter sunlight again, at least, not without protection of some sort.

During a lengthy one hundred and fifty four year period the sueki known as Thanatos had worked himself into the ground over several things. Said things included his urges as a Sueki, his new found talents, and his affinities within air/wind & vorpal. These years were silent years for Thanatos, keeping to the darkness, killing silently, and relentlessly training.... These habits continued for this lengthy period until Thanatos seemingly vanished from the timeline, although he continued to do what was needed to survive...

For such a long time Thanatos had been silent in the world... His name had become a tale that those who believed would tell their children.. Though Thanatos wasn't widely known in the first place. The Sueki had managed to survive until this era, keeping to the shadows, killing silently, and training relentlessly day after day... It was a never ending cycle as Thanatos refused to allow himself to age..

Alas it was time for the Sueki to surface once again... The little know tale of The Vorpal Winds. The word of missing persons and murder began to spread rapidly in North America, specificly Canada as Thanatos found the culture and blood to be quite diverse. Soon the what so few had believed was legend was becoming reality.. News papers and broadcasts began to speak of The Vorpal Winds.. A being once thought to be legend, now seeming to be a reality.. Thanatos was on the move, and humanity would suffer... What would come to this Sueki only the future can tell...
