Clash! Spar of the Decade!

Zack had come to realize the absolute best way of getting stronger was not simply training by yourself or working out, or even doing squats. No, the best form of training was training with a partner, spars being notable examples of this. Because of this realization, and the fact that Zack was in the Eleventh Division of the Thirteen Court Guard squads, he had decided to send out challenges in the form of written letters to all non-Captain seated officers in the entirety of the Gotei Thirteen. This way, Zack would get the chance to fight people from each form of combat or specialization, giving him a much more diverse group of training partners.

While waiting for possible candidates for a spar, Zack had starting doing his daily regiment of squat thrusts. His thoughts were racing....when would someone finally come? Who would it be that would fight him? Would they be strong or weak? When would he finally become a hero? All of these thoughts were going through Zack's mind at the speed of a bullet train. Usually he was a pretty calm, albeit energetic, kind of guy but today he was just itching for a nice match. After doing his exercise for about fifteen minutes, he noticed someone walking around the Eleventh Division barracks that he didn't recognize. It must be a challenger! Zack promptly walked up to the man and greeted him, while simultaneously picking his hulking Zanpakutō up by it's hilt by his right hand and resting it on his shoulder.

Hey there! Im Zack Fair, the fifth seat of Division 11. I take it you're here for the sparring match? Let's begin immediately.

While taking a break of his own, the 3rd seat officer of 7th division decided call it a day with doing his morning regimen before sun that pierced the skies of soul society. Primo was getting a bit tired of his usual routine and thought a good way to break away from that kind of style would be to simply go and check other divisions for once in a while. His careless stroll brought him upon the doorsteps of squad eleven. The entire compound look as if it were run down but to his understanding this is only because that such a squad has soldiers ready to lay their lives down upon the orders of their captain and vice captain should it be so. His attention also caught him over viewing an officer out the corner of his sight. He can already tell that the individual he was looking at was gearing up to introduce himself as well pose some kind of suggestion.

“Nice to meet another officer of the Gotei, I’m Primo Kuramoto third seat of 7th division. I suppose if my feet dragged me here then I must have arrived for this sparing match you’re speaking of,”

"Well, its good to meet you! Now, why don't we go ahead and get started?"

With the short introductions and niceties over, Zack was ready to pounce upon his opponent. After waiting all day for someone to appear, and going nearly a week without a good sparring match, this ready-to-fight shinigami had a lot of pent up energy he needed to get rid of. Zack carefully looked over the seventh division officer in front of himself, his gaze travelling up and down his body to find any indicators of his preferred combat style. Nothing really out of the ordinary.......looks like there's only one way I'll find out exactly what he's capable of...!

Bringing his right foot back by about two feet, Zack prepared himself to begin his assault. With his feet now positioned properly, Zack launched himself from his position and quickly closed the gap between the two sparring partners with his powerful legs, sprinting at Primo with all speed. While running, Zack attached his Zanpakutō to a small hook on the back of his training gear so he wouldnt have to hold it, and could thus free up his second hand. When Zack came to about two feet in front of Primo, he jumped up off his right foot, cocked his fist, and tried to land a heavy punch square on his opponent's cheek using momentum from both his sprinting as well as the height from which he was falling. Zack quickly followed up with a quick uppercut with his left fist, a blow aimed straight for the bottom of Primo's chin.

Zack then began a flurry of both quick and powerful blows aimed at his sparring opponent. He started out with a basic jabbing combination of left-right-left, a series of quick hits for Primo's abdomen, making sure to bring his fists back to his waist after each punch to prevent loss of power. Immediately afterwards, he aimed a left hook for Primo's chin, aiming to hit him hard enough to make him delirious for a second or two, or even dislocate his jaw with his tremendous strength. Assuming the last punch made contact, Zack brought his right foot back half a foot, pulled his right fist down to his waist, and twisted his waist as well. After this, which took less than a second total, Zack brought his fist up, twisting it as he did so, and attempted to land his heaviest punch of all directly onto Primo's solar plexus, hoping to knock the air right out of his lungs or even break a rib if he was lucky and Primo didn't do anything to lessen the power of the hit. Figuring hu is opponent had had enough from his opening assault, Zack retreated a few steps backwards and took a wide, defensive stance to prepare for Primo's response.

Primo realizes this particular officer has no need to waste any sort of time with having any real introduction since he just wants to jump right into it already. The 3rd seat does his best to try and give him the welcoming response and readies himself for the assault he can clearly see with his keen coordination. Reaching for his Zanpakutō which resides on his left side which being he has not enough time yet that is to pull it from the sheathe . Primo holds onto it with a firm grip by the sheathe and partial of the handle area. His eyes squint as if he embarking to break down a counter pattern sequence to use in such short moments. Bringing the Zanpakutō upward to meet Zack’s first punch as his punched connected only to meet his Zanpakutō sending a semi-shock of power of both opposing forces meeting. The 3rd seat officer’s lower stance is very firm but quite light at the same time. His entire weight is well balanced between both legs as he can simply sway back or forward to counter balance his sequence of movements his feet may take.

Having stood his ground without so much as moving but even still he was pushed back from Zack’s punch which he met with his zanapkuto sheathed up and held firmly in his left hand which was positioned in the direction of the pathway of his opponents punch. With juggle from his left hand to the right, Primo showcases but a glimpse of his motions with his own Zanpakutō which still resides in the sheathe itself. Having to reposition his feet whereas his right foot was in front and the left was his counter the same would apply just flipped. Bracing for next consecutive hit that the 11th division officer is showing to be aggressive at, Primo brings forth his Zanpakutō toward his other side as he simply flips the handle faced down with edge of the sheathe waiting the punch he is already capable of seeing coming to an extent. Placing more weight down on his right leg as he can seem to realize much will be needed once again. And just as to be expected only air seconds after Zack’s fist connects and hits Primo’s sheathe right near his higher end of the Zanpakutō which sends forth yet another shock wave of forces meeting. One could say from a distance that it appeared as if sound barriers were being broken with Zack’s amazing strength being met with Primo’s own Zanpakutō in each turn of events. Even though Primo does not possess a strength his opponent seems to showcase so greatly he more than seem to make up in his versatile measurements with how he seems to handle his sword which has yet to be unsheathed as well the positions of his bodies own weight through each leg.

Primo having to think quickly but being as he doesn’t show much of himself until he is tested is when one can see that he isn’t the typical shinigami. Displaying the same exact motions only having to repeat them much faster and much more accurately than a second ago, the seventh division officer steps back gradually as if he seems to do so in conjunction with his opponent attacking in a barrage of mixed up jabs and powerful hits. Each consecutive time he would anticipate his opponents hit coming is when Primo would move and alter his Zanpakutō in that area so that it would seem as if Zack was only hitting the spots of Primo’s sheathe. But being as Primo never held his Zanpakutō for too long in each hand gave rise that he did it accordingly to ease the some kind of pressure or force, The movements from his left and right hand as well lower body moving were quite interesting.

Primo never took his eyes off Zack and kept focused at how Zack was moving his joints and arms since anticipation shows those possibilities. All one has to do is focus solely on the movements of the joints of each body part. It was then that Primo kept watching as Zack came at him like a force of nature. Though it looked as if Primo was capable of meeting Zack for each strike it was then seen that he had appeared to lose some sort of sight that he had prior or so it appeared that way. From a peek it would appear Zack’s last punch made direct contact as it seem to push Primo up and to his knees as he landed down. But upon greater notice it was only because he indeed still was adjusting to Zack’s style and so it was only natural something would get through. Standing back up and barely feeling his opponent’s hit shown that Primo didn’t take it fully as he held his Zanpakutō so close in that last bit of ditch effort that it was bottled up and tucked right in the pathway of Zack’s powerhouse hit as it took most of the damage but not all leaving room for it to still connect but lesson the blow of what it could be.

“Humph” ” A disgruntle sound comes from Primo’s mouth as he stands up to his feet to shake off what connect somewhat. “Well I guess that means introductions are over,”

"Wow, you're not bad! You blocked almost all of my attacks! Well, now that I know what you can do defense-wise, I think its time to introduce a little friend....."

Zack sprinted from his position, running at his sparring partner like a mad man ready to show his time true strength. Once he came into range, Zack brought his left leg up, bent sideways, and aimed a full power kick straight for Primo's right hip. This kick not only had Zack's great physical power behind it, but as he had been sprinting as quickly as possible, it also had quite a bit of momentum behind the blow, the kinetic energy released being truly astounding. Right after Zack's leg began it's quick movement towards Primo, but before the kick would have landed, Zack grabbed the hilt of his Zanpakutō hanging across his back with his right hand, and swung it with as much strength as he could possibly muster, the swing coming at Primo horizontally, with his left hip as Zack's primary intended target. Both of Zack's attacks would make contact at the same time, meaning it would be very difficult to block both attacks.

With his left leg in the air, and his right arm preoccupied with his Zanpakutō, Zack saw only one way to push his opponent back enough so he could step backwards safely. This shinigami leaned forward with the left aide of his body, pushing himself to come into closer range with Primo. Once he did, Zack cocked his left fist at his hip, and then aimed a heavy, yet pretty fast, punch for the right side of his opponent's chin. The punch's primary goal was to destabilise Primo, and thus send him stumbling backwards so Zack could step back without worry of a counter attack. After attempting the punch, Zack quickly shuffled backwards a few feet, so there was about five feet between him and his opponent. Perfect. Despite the pretty large gap between the two, Zack still swung his massive Zanpakutō at Primo, as it was about six feet in length and thus long enough to still make contact. This swing came at Primo's left shoulder from a diagonal descent. At this point, Zack was wielding his Zanpakutō with both of his hands, and so a swing of this magnitude would certainly be enough to cause vibrations to travel throughout Primo's entire body if it was blocked, and might even cause considerable damage to his arm(s) that was holding his Zanpakutō. Immediately afterwards, Zack again stepped back and readied himself.
