A Lazy Peace

Karakura Central, the large city shielded from the hollows that now roamed free in the world of the living. Sure, it wasn't a perfect existence, but anyone who lived within the shield might eventually forget about the state of things outside their protected little city. Of course, humans were always like that; ignorant to that which they could not see. Hell, some of these people probably were so blinded by their false sense of security that they believed that there was nothing wrong with the world. "Fuckers" a man with long, ash-gray hair said as he stood on top of a tall building, looking out at the sky. As it turned out, there was actually a lovely flower garden on the roof of said building, and was obviously owned by a very wealthy person. The long haired man, however, was not the owner. Hell, this man had simply used shunpo to arrive on top of this building, wanting a nice view where not many people could reach. The man, as it turned out, was Ravana Ichiro.

Now, although Ravana had been known as the friendly and sometimes awkward comic relief character, he had more recently become slightly more cynical; less trusting of the world. Granted, he could still be a very friendly person, and was still a nice guy around his friends, but he had become more mature over the years after having left the Gotei 13. Walking over to a bench, Ravana first sat down, and then laid down, looking directly up at the blue sky. Although many different events had made him mature over the years, or at least become a slightly colder person over the years, there was one that stood out to him; the death of a girl he loved, Tatsuki Ariwasa. Sure, she had gone to the Soul Society and even become a Shinigami, but he had still let her down; having been busy fighting his inner hollow during the war with Aizen, unable to protect her. Granted, if he had been there then maybe he would just have died too, but he still felt guilty for Tatsuki's Death. All of that, however, was 400 years ago, and as he shook his head, Ravana's thoughts shifted to more recent events.

As he sat there, looking out at the city, Ravana began to notice a familiar presence. Looking around, he had trouble pinning where exactly it was, and whom it belonged to. Although it seemed familiar, it also felt as if he hadn't seen the person this presence belonged to in ages. As he felt like he was just about to pinpoint the presence, he was interrupted by someone jumping literally on top of him. Looking up at the person, definitely a female, Ravana understood why he didn't recognize the presence right away; it had belonged to Misaiko's more...rambunctious daughter. Since he had spent much time with Misaiko in the past training, and had even come to view her like a mother, Ravana was well acquainted with all of her daughters. With Iori, however, Ravana had formed a kind of rivalry; as both of them were skilled hand-to-hand fighters, and both could be very arrogant.

Of course, none of this was actually going through his head at the moment. No, all Ravana could think about was the beautiful seductress on top of him. To be honest, he found it quite attractive when she ran her hand up his shirt, getting lost in the feeling. Of course, this feeling soon passed as he realized that she was just messing with him; something she always seemed to do. With a large blush, he managed to muster up all the strength he could to stand up, pushing Iori aside. "D-damnit Iori, why the hell are you always fucking with me" he said, half stuttering and half pissed off. To be honest, if she was actually genuine with any of the feelings that she just toyed around with, Ravana would have no problem with what she was doing, but since she only did it to mess with him, it only served to piss him off. Brushing off his clothes from where Iori had been, Ravana was trying to regain his composure; although a quite sizable blush remained on his face. "So what the hell do you want, or are you just here to be a cock-tease?" he asked, annoyance in his tone even though he was still blushing.

As usual, Ravana showed his normal, annoyed face at being called a sissy. Over the years, he had more than proven his worth as a fighter; even if no one would acknowledge it. Of course, it also had to do with the fact that he never back away from a fight; so being called a sissy seemed to be a personal insult to his ego. Of course, before he could calm down from the insult and say something, Iori once again began to speak. She did have a point though; somehow Karakura did seem more dull than the old days. Granted, this was probably because of the barrier that kept the town safe, so you really couldn't complain. This train of thought, however, was quickly interrupted when he noticed a devious smile on Iori's lips.

"Am I a vir...AM I WHAT!?" he exclaimed, obviously caught off guard by the question. Of course, he knew that Iori had to have known the answer to that question; yes. "What the hell does virginity have to do with spar..." he started but was cut off when Iori nuzzled against his neck. Of course, when she grabbed his hand and lead it down her pants, an even bigger blush than before crossed his face. However, even though he was blushing a lot, he didn't remove his hand immediately after Iori let it go. Of course, it wasn't just because he was slightly stunned, but he also liked the idea of it. Still, Iori had issued a challenge, and Ravana was never one to back down from a challenge; so he sadly had to remove his hand from her pants. "Ya know, it's not technically gambling when I already know I can win, but sure, I'll take you up on that offer" he said, trying to quickly recover from the earlier shock "Just be ready to lose." Yes, even though a slight blush remained on his face, Ravana was showing the arrogance that he was known for. Besides, even though he wouldn't admit it (at least not yet), he had always been attracted to Iori; giving him a reason to win other than just pride. "Well then, you can only delay your defeat for so long Iori, so what are you waiting for?"
