Wasn't it quite the lovely time to be out and about within Demon World? Well, at least within the compound of the Royal Asthavon Manor. Transitioning from the dim rays of twilight; the skies had been consumed in the pit of night as a green skyline had fallen over the land. As the shadow's of the evening gradually began to take hold, the conditions had become quite foggy and it was just right for a creature of the night to manifest itself. However, it wouldn't be just any ol' ordinary familiar. No, no, no. This would be THE creature of the night. For, tonight, The Queen of Demon's had arisen from her slumber upon the infamous watch tower of The Royal Asthavon Palace.
Situated up high upon the center of The Sisterhood's quarters, The Queen would have a gorgeous view of the vast lands of The Demon God's city to view. Thousands of buildings were engulfed in dazzling glow, thanks in part to the never ending chain of night lights and spooky vibes giving it a strong radiant glare that could be seen as far as the Asthavon lookout. Furthermore, with a brilliant white moon shining downward upon the Central Demon Country tonight, it brought a smile upon her face to watch the city become alit with such illuminous life within the echos of the witching hour.
Thus, with the settings just right, it was time for dear ol' Mana to await herself and mend into the fresh and ghoulish air that was out tonight. Stepping out of a structure that was similar to a cathedral complex that had been completely surrounded with winding passageways from outside, the area within this strange piece of floating mass began to react to The Demon Queen's awakening. In a matter of moments, a large cemetery, which was shrouded in a thick mist, had emerged on the landscape of this strange island. "I see my pretties are resting as well." Commented Mana, discarding a strange blob of liquefied darkness into the pit off tombstones that lay before her feet.
Flicking her wavy black hair in the wind, Mana let out a slight yawn before taking a satisfied grin at the throne she had acquired for herself. There was a feeling of utter accomplishment surging throughout the veins of the Demon Queen as she had thought back on her conquest of the past year. 2412 had treated The Mistress of the Shadow's quite well. One of the first feats of her joyous year were as taking over the lower 48 states within America and seizing control of it's assets. With this powerhouse of a nation in the palm of her hands, this would simply further the resources Shadow Fall had at hand and increase her control of the entire globe. Following that? Heh, she was quite pleased to find that the re-innovation project for new London had been put into action and completed sometime in early 2412; following her invasion and near destruction of Old London during "The Battle for London" which had secured her control of Europe two years ago.
On the heels of that, even the construction of her secondary palace that was meant to be built within the city of London had been finished. And with that? It brought about another wildcard in the Shadow Fall and Royal Asthavon arsenal. As with The construction of "Project Neoveta", this being would surely prove to be a formidable card to play in her upcoming conquest for the following year. Not only that, but after waging battle with a force whom was nearly equal to a God, Mana had pushed the limits of her well being even further and awakened a great sense of power inside of herself. Obtaining a sacred stone of madness that would bring herself to being whole once more, the seeds of madness has been implanted inside of her; solidifying her attributes as a being of pure satanic chaos even further. And, if it couldn't get even better? She had even found two more additional souls, whom shared a similar enough wavelength to her soul to add into the Asthavon Sisterhood. These individuals would be the likes Cupcake and Katana Asthavon. With Katana acting as a mother figure, and Cupcake like a little sister, the union that she was seeking had been growing stronger and stronger with each passing today.
So, as Mana's gem green eyes pierced the shaded lands ahead of her, we would be brought to one of the primary reasons why she stood upon the edge of her so called "Quarters". Like Katana Asthavon and Cupcake Asthavon, Mana was planning to assimilate someone else into the Royal Demon Family on this very night. After gathering reports of a very fast growing individual within the ranks of Shadow Fall, an advisor of The Queen's had actually brought he compiled reports of a Grand Duke from First Circle whom went by the name " Micheal Capolitare". While she had caught a brief glimpse of his efforts at securing control of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under Shadow's Fall Control; she didn't have time to truly take it all in. This was based on the fact...that she was utterly out of her batty mind.
Despite all the power she had amassed over the previous year, Mana has kept her instabilities a secret and has steadily felt her mental health beginning to rapidly fatigue with the sense of her "true" self beginning surface. She isn't quite sure of just what this completed version of herself would become, but she's assured it will be something truly frightening and wicked to all those whom dare oppose her and has been something many years in the making. However, despite this delicious view on the horizon, there was another...entity...within Mana that was steadily beginning to take it's toll on The Queen. Visions of a very familiar girl danced inside of Mana's head, she knew what this symbolism meant and that the time was drawing near for great change. Rather it would break the creature of the night? She wast assured of that even with her great might.
But, for now, she did not have to worry about such complex task polluting her mind. Instead, she was only needed to focus on the task of initiating Sir Micheal into the Asthavon Family and having him join amongst the Thersold. Ergo, with her thought process being put back on the right track, she had started to recall the capacities of Micheal, as seen by herself in the pits of war and by the data compiled in the report. Pulling out a pair of scrolls that had been given to her from Micheal's superior officer, the Archduke of Circle one; otherwise known as Sasori, she was granted access to these sensitive files. Using a small scale version of her telekinetic ability, she had levitated the scroll in mid air until it swiftly opened up and unveiled a full holographic screen with the inner workings of Micheal displayed on the screen.
Apparently his spiritual energy output was on par with a hardened Captain of the Gotei 13 from the information that the files had compiled. Furthermore, his damage output had received a maximum output of 1-2 miles from the destruction surveyed in the ruins of the city. This meant that his blood prowess had great potential to grow from where they are, but they...needed something extra to make it more...enhanced. Against the kind of enemies they'll be facing in the upcoming year? This guy was going to need something more fierce to spice his body's functions up.
And with that, the true reason in her even bothering to come out on this appointment was shown. On this dark eve, The Queen of Demon's would see if this solider was brave, bold and was worth the investment of taking him deep into the pits of hell itself. To go onward into the fires of war, to go where chaos had long been such a way of life and to enter a world that not many Demon's get to see. Would he have the nerve to rise to be a Asthavon? Or would he be another waste of Demon Extract better suited to become her meal then somebody important? These were questions that The Queen did not know, but would hope to uncover as this sinister night would move forward.
"Will he crumble? Or will he fall? Can he rise? Or will he become despised? Let's shuffle the cards of fate and see what hell has in store for us tonight." With that sentence uttered out of her quaint mouth, Mana placed one foot on the edge of a rock and awaited to see when the Grand Duke. would show up.

Michael had just gotten out of the shower, his lower body covered in nothing but a black towel as the water from his upper body shined in the light of his quarters. Being a Grand Duke he was able to own his own small place where often took care of himself when he was not working or training. Michael looked at the tribal tattoos on his chest and forearms, and he remembered what they once meant to him. Michael did not have any real time to think about that as he would hear a knock at his door, and Michael thinking nothing about it would simply walk out wearing nothing but a towel and opened the door to see a small demon standing there with a scroll for him. Michael leaned down and took the scroll from the little demon before sending him off, knowing very well that he had a job to do just like Michael was most likely going to have. As Michael opened the scroll and slowly started to read it, if he had a heart it would have most likely exploded out of his chest at this point in time. Mana wanted to see him, in her home in London.
Michael's mind instantly went to what he could have done wrong. His mind instantly went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and thinking that he had not done enough to earn his rank as Grand Duke. Michael thought off the mile he destroyed with a single move, and how he attempted to capture a Vizard before he escaped and then was teleported away by Hanako. Michael then left that area because he was told to by Mana, but Michael was not so sure that she remembered telling him that due to her going into her infamous Beserking Mode, the very same mode that allowed her to take over the City of London, where she now lives.
Michael would drop the scroll on his table and he would instantly walk out the door, getting three steps before he realized that he was in his towel. Michael would instantly run back into his house and go to his closet where he began to pick out some clothes. Michael would instantly pick out his best clothes, knowing that if he was going there to die, he atleast wanted to die in some good clothes.
Michael's suit included a pair of black dress pants, with a blood red undershirt, with a collar, with a matching blood red tie, and a black coat. Michael would then start to get his shoes together, putting them on very quickly before he would stop for a moment and think about what he was going to do once he got there and he instantly threw that aside as he never knew what was going to happen with Mana. Once those black shoes were on, he would open up a Kage Chōkyō-shi, something that anyone with any real skill in Zo Koa skill can do and with Michael's Master level of it he opened it with a mere flick of his wrist. Michael brush off any lint or dust that was on his suit before he took a step though.
Michael arrived at the 'Quarters' of Mana, and he could not help but smile as he had appeared in the graveyard part of her quarters. Apparently his aim was a little off, as it should be considering he had never been to Mana's place before. Michael didn't even have to look for Mana's spiritual pressure, as his Knowledge of the Environment allowed him to know where she was, though it was not like she was hiding her energy from him.. or anyone else for that matter. He would then take another step forward, and appear behind Mana as she sat on the edge of the rock. He knew very well that the moment he entered her realm, she knew that he was there.
Michael stood there, standing in the old Marine stance of attention with his feet shoulder length apart and his hands behind his back. Mana most likely already knew about Michael's former history as a United States Marine, and while some of the qualities had left him there were several that did not. The Unquestioning Loyalty to the Demon World and Mana, his willingness to follow orders, and his need to improve his skills. You summoned me Ma'am. What can I do for you. While Michael's face was completely stone, his mind was racing with what she could possibly want with him, but he would quickly slow those thoughts down before Mana would notice if she had not already.

Well, wasn't he one dressed to impress. It appeared as if he was all dolled up to present himself at a business meeting, rather then a gathering with the embodiment of the night herself. Ah well, she's seen quite worse choices of clothing. Furthermore, for beings who are able to mend their shape at will, it was rather redundant to worry about such frivolous issues such as what sorts of apparel a person wears anyway. Heh, because while most tend to think of the applications for their powers on some sort of grand scheme, having super powers definitely helps in downtime. At any rate, there wasn't much time to really dwell on about that passing thought. Instead, she was here to see if this guy had the nerve to become apart of the Asthavon Family based upon a recommendation from one of her trusted advisors. Ergo, it was time to test out the new meat and see just how long he could hold on to his desire of power and if there was something deeper waiting to be discovered about this new specimen before her."What can you do for me indeed..." Chuckled Mana in a eccentric fashion; waving her hands around in the air and going onward to summon about her royal throne chair from behind. "...I've heard a decent lot about you from my own advisory team. They say you have the potential, they say you have the skills, they say you have resources; but I have to say, what does MOI have to gain from integrating you into the kinsmanship of our loving family?" Slowly, she had steadily began to levitate herself upwards into the chair of her throne as she gave a dashing smile at the young demon spawn before her. "What I'm asking you, my dear lad, is that what do you have to offer to become one of my kin? Do you bring anything to the ballroom floor? Any resources we could sink our dirty little fangs into? Any justifiable reason at all why we should take you from the cold of the night, and bring you into the warmth of our ever-expanding home." Rubbing her chin after completing this first section of dialogue towards the Grand Duke, Mana cackled once more before leaning backwards in her throne chair and easing into her position as Queen.
At that moment, she would begin to twirl her index finger located on her right hand around until a small sphere of black light had gathered above the tip of finger. However, unlike her shadow's, this one gave a truly decaying sensation attached to it. Like there was something sinister to the core located within the depths of this object. In spite of that, to any demon who knew their energies, this could be detected as DE Force; other wise known as Death Energy. It was something that the Royal Demon Family was known to have possessed in many of their members. This was the very essence of death that granted them abilities similar to necromancy, obtaining semi-immorality, achieving rotting or void based attributes and other similar abstracts or concepts of death. Ultimately, it was something to make them a cut above the rest, a tool to enhance them and solidify their position in power within Demon World. But, as with all great resources of power, she wasn't just going to give this freely away to some guy who has barely proved his worth to her.
This demon that lay before her feet would need to pledge his undying loyalty to this clan with a pact. So, with her mind made up, she was going to test the waters of this new spawn. "After all, don't you think you have everything to gain and I have everything to loose by allotting you access into my domain? Do the scales not seem very tilted in your favor, my deary?" Giggling a bit, Mana would twirl her wrist and have a bat familiar morph out of her hand. This creature would fly towards the feet of Michael before emitting a bright red glow. In a matter of seconds following that initial impact with the ground, the strange minion could be seen as disintegrating into a red miasma that would swiftly transform itself into a radiating pentagon shape below them. If it wasn't obvious now, all would be made clear to the noble knight below her. With the sphere of darkness that had radiated ever so nicely above her finger tip steadily started to gravitate and hover over the top of this Pentagon seal, she was planning on infusing a loyalty written in words and blood to begin testing his allegiance to the family.
"'Sugah, I'm going to need you to make a oath on blood for me. On this dark night, you'll need to pledge your entire devotion to my single being and this families well being. Let your very essence ooze into this circle, mend yourself into our core and show you have what it takes to become an Asthavon." Staring intently down upon The Grand Duke, she pondered what would be going on in his head right about now. Would he be having second thoughts about this meeting with the Queen of Demon's? DId he truly expect to walk out of here without Mana getting some sort of insurance or benefit of his faith? Or was this all a bid to get her alone and possibly assassinate her? All sorts of scenario's could be playing out at the moment, but in due time, it will be brought to the light with the Seal of the Asthavon being placed inside of this male. "You'll need to swear on your livelihood and heart that you will never betray, leak information or otherwise go against the will or endanger the Asthavon Family. Should you null the contract of this seal? Then it will terminate your life on sight."
Snapping her fingers, she had levitated a scroll towards Michael's vicinity. In a matter of moments, it opened up without much diffculity and projected a holographic screen for him. "This is what occurred to the last person who dared tried to cross. In this video, you will see a former Asthavon attempting to leak information about our family to the likes of the Gotei 13. This is what occurred to him afterward...." Soon, the footage had booted up and it had shown the a younger male attempting to divulge information about prisoner of the Asthvaon, weaknesses within the family, exact locations of special resources and other sensitive information in the clan. However, each time he attempted to? His freeze would stutter and would fail to make sense of the words. After the 3rd attempt, the man's eyes had seemly bleed out, his head imploded into a state of pure goo and soon his body had been reduced to dust as the same pentagon symbol that had laid before the Grand Duke's feet emerged in the video.
"...now, if you have any second thoughts, this would be the perfect time to back up. For, once we go through with this, there is generally no turning back until you have proven your trust into the family. Only I will determine when this seal is ready to come off and you will need to put in the work to become a true Asthavon." With that said, Mana clasped her hands together and smiled downward at Michael. "Thus, it's best to get anything you need input on, questions and all that other sort of wonderful feedback out as well." Flicking her hair now, she would lean back once more in her throne and await to see what his man's actions could turn out to be. Will he accept the terms of this proposal? Will he refuse and back out of this deal? This was yet another mystery of life she was curious to see become solved and eagerly awaited to see what his final outcome would become. "Oh, and you are free to leave anytime. I won't ask anymore questions about this if you leave peaceful and feel you cannot live up to these standards."
Now, with more of the details laid out on the table, she believed that the young Grand Duke would have enough information to make a correct choice about which path he chooses to go down. Will her take the path of power? Shall he embark on the road of a traitor? Could he take the course of a coward? Everything about this story was ready to begin and nobody knew where it was going to head!
