Doesn't Back Down

If you're looking for a fight, and challenge Jonah you should come prepared. Jonah does not withdraw from battle, wither he believes he will win or lose. He's stubborn in this regard, fully intent on finishing what battles he starts. But if the battle becomes lousy and boring, he will leave. Not back down, but leave all together. He does not like to fight boring battles, if their isn't someone he could spar with for awhile or all out fight, he won't stay very long.

Mysterious

While talking to people on a day to day basis, even though his personal preference is not to speak at all, Jonah is very mysterious. His answers to questions resonate as questions, resembling teasing or it could be that the man simply doesn't wish for them to be certain and to keep people guessing. He finds an immense pleasure in having people become... interested with learning about him, and makes every effort to irritate them with his mysterious answers and wording. He personally believes that his own mother's 'flighty' nature is why he became this way., as to confuse her at random times.

Merciful

If Jonah can avoid the spilling of unneed blood, he will make every effort to do so. Some might call him cowardly and he thinks the same. But in truth, it is due to Jonah not believing he could take killing someone, even though he has hundreds if not thousands of times during his life. His mercy could be rooted at his guilty conscience he has at the worst possible times. But harm someone precious to him, and mercy won't show her beautiful face.

Can't Say No

Jonah has a very hard time telling people no or denying them something. It comes from his childhood and his father being so intimdating that he never told him no once. Overtime, he began having a hard time telling people no when they asked for his assitance, asked him about his life or anything that could have 'No' as an answer. He's not one to help people, but this little problem usually forces him to do things since he told someone he would. If he doesn't he has a massive guilty conscience over it and Jonah hates it when that happens. He would never tell Hanako no, due to the fact she could clobber him as much as he could possibly clobber her. When he is with Ventus, he seems to be more than willing to do almost anything the boy wants to.

» Background:

1965 -
Childhood
Jonah grew up in Katie, Texas. Raised on a farm with a moonshiner for a father. His mother left for Houston city every morning, bringing in legal funds as to keep the police of her husband. Jonah attended a private school and wound up being made fun of for his accent, until one day he literally punched the other kid so hard in the nose, that it splintered into his skull, killing him instantly. He was sent to boot camp, learning things like responsibility, controlling your temper, listening to your supiorors. Not that it ever made a difference, but it did get his accent out of him.

Seeing The Spirits I: Friend
When he got home after two years of boot camp, now twelve, he quickly found himself hearing things. The boy done went and believed he was loosin' his fuckin' mind, son! He could barely sleep every night when he 'eard these roars of hunger outside his home. One night, a girl was in his room. About his age, but wearing some kind of chain that came out of her heart. Jonah asked her for her name and it turned out her name was Agitha Hexx, his great grandmother who passed away, but protected the family here. The young miss told Jonah to ask his father about that there Hexx Family Magic and tell 'em “Aggeto sent me.” Needless to say, the man's father thought he had seen a ghost at the mention of that name!

Magic of the Hexx Family – I
A few years later when Jonah hit sixteen, his Pa called him into the barn and told him it was time for him to learn his own magic. Now, the Hexx family didn't use an Anima Stone, but did fuel their magic with Mana, or life energy so to speak. Jonah picked it up quite nicely, but his father told him to never try alchemy until he proved he could handle it. Jonah would pratice for a few years, but eventually had to move on and began his travels. He waved to his ma and pa, leaving them behind as he drove off on his motorcycle.

For about three years, the boy was away from home, travelin' the states of the great U.S. Of A. He went from coast to coast, city to city, town to town, trvelin a good ol 200,000 miles or so before he finally came home. But when he got there, the barn had burned down and nobody was around. The old house had been boarded up, and a note had been written that was worn off quite a bit. From wat the boy could make out, his parents had moved to Houston and came here every week to check on the ol' place and clean it up. Jonah quickly took all the boards off, and cleaned up the inside. If his parents weren't going to live here, he would take care of it himself.

1985 -

Gorwing Into a Man

Jonah's parents arrived, telling him the house wa shis and to take good care of it, which he already was, course. That night, he fought with his great grandmother over a dman cupcake he made. This woman had to be one of the most annoying ghosts he had ever seen, and he saw plenty. But, unforntunatly, a Shinigami as they're called in America came and sent her to the Soul Society. When he spoke to this Shinigami, she was amazed he could see her at all. It didn't suprise him since Agitha had said mos tpeople don't see ghosts and never will. But he began to chat with the lady, learning of the Soul Society and such, quickly finding that much of the religious beliefs in the world, if not them all, were wrong. He laughed and when the woman questioned him why, he told her how many religions were wrong.

He learned that her name was Lucy and let her go for now. Not realizing that they would meet many times over his life. All in all, his first encounter with a Shinigami went quite well in his mind.

Family Trade's, Alchemy
After visiting his father one morning, the old man called out to Jonah telling him there was something he wanted to show him since he became a man. Jonah followed his father into his Barn, and quickly was in aw over everything he saw. Diagrams and formula's were everywhere, all of alchemy. He turned to his father who smiled, and the training began. This would lead to the Mastery of Alchemy he possess' to this day. Jonah had to memorize patterns, symbols and draw them to absolute perfection unless he wanted his Alchemy to rebound and possibly kill him. He began small, transmuting things like small objects and stones. Eventually his father began to show him how to manipulate the world around him, items that were massive in size.... but then Jonah took it too far.

A simple request was all he had, the name of the shinigami woman he had met. This was what he asked... of the Portal of Truth. When granted his answer, it told him how dear it was to him and asked for a 'part' of him in return. In truth it had no idea just how much it was worht to him. His request, Jonah offered a place within his mind, should the Portal ever need a protector. The offering was taken and he now has access to unlimited information. Events, time, space everything. He could accurately know the future, if he did not interfere, if he did it would change immediately. The Portal has yet to call his name.

Magic Of The Hexx Family

His father once more saw that he had opened the Portal of Truth and forbade him from doing so if someone ever died. He promised, and was granted the knowledge of the Hexx Family, or an expanded version from the Portal. Magic. By the use of Mana and/or Anima Stones. Either way he could use high level spells and arts, gaining a massive reserve of Mana and spiritual energy to support the art's he was to learn. This was the first day he was able to combat spirits. The lightning magic came first, spells with enough power to eradicate even the strongest of enemies in battle. After larning these arts, he left to find work within the city of Dallas ,Texas.

1987 -

Family Trade's, Gunsmith
After beingunable to find work for nearly an entire year, Jonah quickly went back home to where his parents lived and asked his father tohelp him find work. His father held up a gun and one phrase landed that job. “Wanna learn hot to make guns?”

For three years he was his father apprentice, and even began to craft massive swords. He learned the drilling, casting and all the traits of a gunsmith. He quickly found that Alchemy was faster and his father was surprised when he began to craft all his work with Alchemy and exchanged a perfect amount for what was to be used. He substituted materials to be more light weight but even stronger while being so well crafted, the blade's he crafts never lose their scalpel sharp edge.

The Wrong Path, on the Right Day
Eventually, trouble found Jonah ad his skill with his weapon's made him rich, as he became the one thing he never wanted to be. An Assassin. He took igh profile and even more powerful targets on. Assassinating world leaders as he went down his path, never looking into the light for years to come. As he knew well, HNLB. Hitmen Never Look Back. But then, his target became a United States president, George H.W> Bush Sr.. He couldn't do it, even though he had already kidnapped the man. He told him everything, for immunity. Everything he had done just to get by, just to keep his damn parents proud and happy. He was pardoned by the President, having broken down in front of the man. George H.W. Bush asked that he serve as a soldier. This began the new life of Jonah Hexx.

Army Ranger

Jonah joined the elite of the Army and quickly became a Captain. Cpt. Hexx, known for never failing a mission and never losing a man. His unit was a quiet one, more so to its new memebersuntil they saw what Hexx was capable of. He saved their lives many times over, ripping out bullets and healing them with magic or sewing the skin with Alchemy. He could create inpenitrable defenses in the blink of an eye, which left his target's running and screaming of a devil. He was only human though.

Navy Seal
Eventually, then Navy asked for him to join them. His answer was, “Fuck off. I leave no one behind. You take us all or you don't get a positive answer.” His whole team passed into the Navy Seal's, becoming once again, the best squadron. He fought against terrorists, took out mad men and even found... her. He became war hardened, his body unstoppable as he went on. He was a hero to the United States and an enemy to all others but Israel.

1997 -

A Love For Motorcycles
After finding a motorcycle in a dump, he took it home and quickly began crafting it with Alchemy, even the Portal of truth stepping in and suggesting things since it was interested. He reworked it and built on it, salvaging everything and using alchemy to rebuild it all. His new motorcycle launched as a Harley Davidson. After all, his family did own Ford. This is when he started up a garage in Katie Texas, where people could come without getting ripped off.

Seeing The Spirits II: Saving Lives
After some time, Jonah began to ride across the USA, after modifying his motorcycle to hold all of his weapons. The sides would spring open and reveal a rack of swords, gun's and axes on both sides. He could draw his massive blades with such ease due to the light weight, or what he considered light. What he didn't know was that his swords... all weighed around five hundred pounds apiece. He sure as hell knows his motorcycle went speeds of two hundred an eighty miles an hour though. Driving across the U.S., he was in D.C. Visiting the White House while armed, and saw something.... black with a white mask. It had President Kennedy pinned down and he quickly attacked, causing damage to the Blue Room, but the President testified about what he saw while the Secret service came in. Jonah had his swords In both hands, standing before the president when it sudeenly attacked. A Hollow... no. An Adjuhas. It resembled a bear, swiping at Jonah, which hit and sent him carenning back into President Kennedy before they crashe dinto the wall. He stood and helped the President escape, fighting on an on for two hours before he had enough. With a shout, alchemy was used and the earth around him was slapped by a single hand, raising spears of rock into the Adjuhas, pinning it to the wall and bleeding it dry while he put on a white glove, and snapped his fingers. A blast of fire burned the hollow Adjuhas alive. He thanked his father before falling to the ground in exhaustion and blood loss, the Secret Service moving him to the hospital quickly.

1999 -

Engineering and Design
Jonah attended Yale then next year, having been paid for by Kennedy himself. He would tak endless courses on Engineering and Design, as well many Biology courses. Taking his time to learn, he achived perfect scores, and had a PHD in four years. Something few had ever done, if anyone. He left the University and returned home. Who he found shocked him. A shinigami woman was in his tub, bathing. His eye twitched before she invited him in, making him slam the door and her laugh. He called out to her, and told her to stop inviting herself in all the time before leaving once more. He would return later to find her asleep on his cough, naked. He sighed and covered her with a blanket, almost giving up on how dumb she had to have been.

Near Death, Hollow Bait
A few months later, Jonah would find another Adjuhas, this time attacking a school. He had seen the live story on the news and jumped up, pulling the Shinigami woman, Rina with him. The two arrived on scene, Jonah pushing through the police and drawing his swords from his motorcycle, then jumping off to get the job done. His girlfirend Rina actually fought too, dispatching it together and saving the children inside. But it hadn't ben alone. Three adjuhas were there and the fight was brought to them for revenge of Pakku the Bear Adjuhas who had tried to maul the president for his stupidity years before. Jonah would be carried away on strechers, seeing as he could barely breathe from the wounds. Rina would find him weeks later, having finally recovered from that battle. Jonah... was in a coma.

2005 -

Bio Genetic Engineering
When he awoke, it had been only two months. The Secret Service brought him to see President George W. Bush Jr., who asked him to take part in a top secret development project. When he agreed upon learning that it was creatig Super Soldiers, he quickly began to regain all his strength, Rina having not appeared since he woke up. He told the President about the creature's he had faced, and the man nodded, telling him all President's have been able to see them. HE goes on to say, that these soldiers will combat them from the shadows.

Jonah would scream as the experiments were done. His body given power beyong imagination at that time. His proof lay in slashing his baldes through tanks, taking explosions ehad on with a few burns and scratches, low in overall rgade. His srength could bring down buildings and his regeneration kept him moving as soon as he pushed a bullet out. These soldiers were fearedas America had them.

Seeing The Spirits: Testing The Power's
Jonah found a way into Hueco Mundo by creating a portal with Alchemy and spiritual power. The Portal providing this knowledge and he opened the Portal of Truth, to be transported to Hueco Mundo. He would began an endless quest to slay Hollow's and outright end them. For an entire year, he battled Hollows of Gillian and Adjuhas class, but when the Vasto Lordes began to appear... he fled. They laughed at his futile efforts to harm them, andsimple played with him. He wasnt strong enough... but he knew exactly what to do. One of the Vasto Lordes had taken him by the throat, and before it knew what hit him. His body was being deconstructed by Alchemy on an Atomic Level. He had done I. Created Atomic Alchemy.


Hexx Family Legacy Reborn, Alchemic Master
He deafted only that one in a cheap way, but none the less. He escaped, quickly opening the Portal of Truth since he couldn't possibly fight one head to head again. After all, he couldn't defeat one head to head, and knew it well. He would appear on earth. Where he was unsure, but he awoke in one Karakura Hospital with a doctor saying he would be there a few days until the U.S. Could pick him up.


2006 -
Karakura Town – I
He had been released, but knew where to meet his pickup. As such, he traveled Karakura, unknowing that the Entire town would soon be asleep. He watched as they all fell around him, feeling a presence of pure evil and saw a being encased in white far in the distance, if not miles away. He took off, Kisuke Urahara finding him and asking how he was here. Upon his answer of Alchemy, Kisuke's eyes widened as Alchemy was extremely rare. If he knew it, he was on of the Clan's. Upon the question, he agve his name. Jonah Hexx. He shook Kisuke's hand and left for the Urahara Shoten upon direction. Here he would hide until the battle was ovr, knowing in his soul he couldn't be of use here. But then the time came, some years later when Ender appeared. Jonah became a front lines fighter and fought againstarmies. During this time his powers expanded, gaining one of the first Soul State Evolutions. His back bor e a wing, black like a bat's and his powers exceeded his normal limits. He fought and fought, Heeding the call one anf for all, never surrounding as with Glory he would only fall. He took his brothers in arms and rod ehis motorcycle into another war zone, slaying countless demons as the war went on, but would never be credited, as he disappeared after Ender's defeat. Where had he gone? Nobody knew.

Heeding The Call
A flash in the night and he reappeared, guarded by blades and the will to survive. His brother's in arms, Iramasha, Shinigami, Arrancar, Sugiura... they all rejoined to form a new team. The Peacemaker's. They were made to ensure the safety of the living realm, taking it upon themselves to become the protectors of the world, now that Ender was in hell for all time... so they thought. He passed leadership to his father, then left upon the call from Barack Obama who told him they final Bio Genetic Experiment... was ready.


Hunted
Having escaped America after gaining his new powers and abilities, he became the Most Wanted man in the world for years to come. He Traveled the world as a Peacemaker once more, taking all tasks within his wake. Hunreds of tasks were given to Peacemaker's, in order to keep strife to a minimum and eradicated the evils of their world. Religion meant nothing to them, so religious problems were ignored unless they became dire in need. LOL PUN @ Carter

Battle In Texas: Jonah's Retreat
Jonah found that at his home, bounty hunters had come and he was in combat against four captain level human's, even though he matched them due to his abilities that hadn't been known off. He slew all four, sendning them to the Soul Society as Rina appeared once more... but she had become something else. A Vizard. He had changed and she could see, but was willing as was he. The two began to date again, and evtually, Hexx had to leav Rina as she had found another. He understood, and gave her his umber for emgencies sinc ehe was a Peacemaker after all. He met the new man and congratulated him on winning her heart, and the two became friends. Hexx now owns many homes, one within Rukongai, Seireitei, Karakura, Texas, Sweden and several others.


2411 -
Having been down for awhile, he began to travel. Leaving Texas since it was no longer the place he once knew now that evils controlled the USA. He moved to Karakura and opened a garage behind a family restaurant he had found. There, he met Hanako. A woman that he held in high regard since day one. He was the one who always mad ethe Wild side come out and its his fault that it still does. Something he is sure her husband approves and does not approve of all together.

He was her first customer in her restaurant, and even dealt with a few idiots for her during his stay. Eventually she gave in to the compitition and started a pub in place of the Restaurant, again Jonah was her first customer. Since then, the two have ecome good friends and he works on anything she has issues with. Including idiot drunks. He's actually fought Hanako, and lost every time due to her superior ability in hand to hand. He hates to admit he lost to her too and trys to deny it whenever she pokes fun at him for 'losing to a girl.'

Jonah eventually became close to Hanako, but both knew it was more of a sibling relationship and less of an interest for love. Anyone suggesting she is cheating on her husband Koichi is instantly beaten within centimeters of death by the two, while they both wear cheery grins.

Disappearance of Jonah, Ventus the Grandson.
Jonah learned through Kisuke that his Great Great Great grandson was the only living member of the Hexx family that hadn't been reincarnated and set out to find him. Taking months to do so, he finally found the boy and told him of his family. He was shocked to find Ventus looked exactly like him and prefered his fighitng style of large weapons.

Karakura Town: Jonah's Garage
Finally after being with Ventus for two years, Jonah returned to his garage behind Hanako's Pub. Where one could get their rides fixed and have a bite to eat and drink. Ventus comes in now and again to help, but other than that life is pretty basic.

» Natural Attributes:

Another DNA-Based machine within him, is the unit the allows him to form weapons, armor, machines and other things from his body. It fuses the items he chooses and rips them apart, atom by atom before placing them on his body as a second lair of skin. Since it is directly attached to his DNA double helix strands like armor, he is able to literally form and deform the items of physical nature within a nanosecond, matching the speed he normal uses on a daily basis.



The Benefits Of Bio Genetic Engineering

Extreme Speed
While Jonan is renowned for his masterful skill in combat, part of this lies withing his purest speed. Whenever Jonan has tired of generally playing with an opponent that is annoying, or he decides to use every bit of power he has, his attacks appear as blurs to the eyes. The majority of people in the world wouldn't even possess a high enough grade reaction time to keep pace with Jonan, let alone even see him.

His simple way of getting through a crowd, is by useing this speed and his agile ability to weave through waves of pedestrians. He is able to keep pace with a lower Espada's Sonido and even an unexperinced Captain's shunpo. He also ties this into his leg work, provided opponents with kicks that would be blurs before one final kick to send them flying. His speed is shown through out his entire body, the turn of his head can seem slow and normal, but if he senses and incoming attack, he spins around and draws a weapon to stop the attack of counter it altogether, using his main attraction, a claymore weighing in at half a ton. Getting through his speed is only one of the issues with fighting Jonan Hexx. As mentioned, his strength is a problem. What? You didn't think there would be more?

Super Strength
Even without using his enhanced strength, Jonan doesn't pull punches. He has an entire weapons cache on him at all time, wither you see them or not. His strength affects him in many ways. HIs arms might seem only slightly muscled, but this is due to the experiment conducted upon him in the 2000-2012 time. His DNA is literally armor plated, giving his punch a harsh bite. He's quite fond of his strength, and uses it whenever he repairs his motorcycles and cars, often pounding out the dents and bending the steel pipes back himself. He enjoys this strength, but does not use it outside of combat for day to day life, only when he is repairing things or heavy lifting.

Once it was used during a battle on a highway, and caused much destruction on a seventy mile stretch. His punches literally crumbled sections of the concrete bridges while running before drawing one of his several swords. When using his blades, which are forged to support the strength of even someone like Radioactive holding them for use, his strength forces the blades through pillars of steel that were holding the bridges. He had been taking three opponents on at once, and made the bridge collapse on them after a long battle.

It also emits light, resembling the sun, but not as bright of course.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 3 Appearance:

In Soul State Evolution Stage Three or Blazing Eternity, Jonah's aura burns wildly and uncontrolled. His spiritual pressure alone crushes even the living world, pushing those who are not spiritual aware at all to their knees, without them even understanding why it has become hard to breath. His pressure is suffocating to all, regardless of how powerful they are, but less more than others. The flams dance around him, each step leaving a trace of his burning aura for minutes into hours after he has left that spot. These aura's that burn left behind, are visible to the living realm and those without spiritual awareness.

Karakura had become a battleground where the sunlight no longer pierced through the deepest abyss of black clouds, its beauty from the sky was no more. Skyscrapers toppled, ruins of the forest lay within the decimated street lanes of down town, Karakura High in nothing but rubble with bodies littering the city and its surround area. Blood covered walls, brain matter and other organs ripped from corpses and thrown to splatter on intimate objects. It was truly the day the sky fell down, as even the bodies of Karakura's greatest protector's lay here to waste away for eternity. Amongst all the death and destruction, one man dared enter this forbidden city, that had been laid waste to only hours before his arrival by an attack from Shadow Fall., even a few traitors still lingered, looking for survivors.

Jonah snapped his fingers, extending his arms in front of him to reconstruct his motorcycle with ground and sky gyro spheres, leaping on to speed down the street's length. His hair blew within the tainted red winds, coating it with the crimson blood that stained even the air. He snapped the pointer finger and thumb belonging to his right hand upon freeing its gloved grip form the handle bars, a gas mask appearing in Jonah's palm before using both hands to put it on while his bike sped on. The Jonah couldn't take a risk of infection, even knowing his body was very immune to all disease, he still believed he could be affected. He placed his hands back to the bar, tilting his body and the motorcycle into a turn, exiting onto the street where Hanako's pub would possibly lie in ruin. He believed she would have escaped, since the fight became overwhelming. The Soul Society wouldn't even assist them, even though Ichigo left on his own with his comrades and paid the price with his life at the hands of Touketsu itself.

Speeding down the streets length, Jonah revved the engine even harder, forcing it to go its maximum speed. He couldn't think of anything but Hanako and her children, praying that the young little demonic children were safe, even though he never liked children. But, that was not his concern, Jonah's concern was their well being. Yet, as fate would have it, an Arrancar appeared in his ressurecion, using Sonido to speed at Jonah. A simple click of a button, and the plates of his motorcycle opened his entire armory. His left hand and arm moved within a blur, throwing multiple blades together to form his Buster Sword, weighing in at three tons.

The Arrancar was upon him, its massive talons attempting to claw his heat out, but Jonah was far too fast for this Arrancar. His sword became a blur, the flat first, smacking the Arrancar forward into the sky while matching the speed of his motorcycle. Jonah followed him with a flying leap, somersaulting in the air as a blur before bringing his weapon down, slicing the Arrancar's left arm, removing it from its body. A bloody cry left the Arrancar's lips, but Jonah had already drew his Mach 10 Overcast, a shotgun that used a special round infused with explosive qualities that fired the bullet at mach ten, only a true grandmaster of speed could possibly dodge. The recoil shot his arm back, bullet exploding throughout the Arrancar, causing its body to becoming nothing but ashes from the flames of the explosion.

Two demons appeared as he fell onto his motorcycle, both carrying swords and watching Jonah's every move. Jonah quickly snapped his left hand's fingers, the shotgun fusing inside him once more to replace it with two very large and sharp indestructible blades, one in each hand. The demons moved for him, but couldn't keep up with his motorcycle before using their own speed techniques to attack. Four blades clashed, Jonah shoved one of them off while clashing with the other before his movements became a blur yet again. The demon fell, finding the ground while the other attacked him fiercely. Jonah was coming up on the pub, and he couldn't let him know where survivors might be hiding. Up ahead, Hanako was rushing people inside while he fought the demon, and decided to finish it. His swords appeared, a snap of his hands after he threw his two blades into the air.

A well placed kicked from Jonah's left leg sent the demon skyward, the Seal following with his massive buster sword's blades coming apart with a shining silver blue glow. He slashed the demon with one, causing the others to scatter. Another swipe, he kicked off the demon towards his other blade, trading it in and pushing of the same blade as before, a new smaller two blades in hand and slashed the demon's arms off, His next trade and blow removed its legs before Jonah twisted his arm, his palm before his face becoming a fist. From that motion, all the blades pierced the demon and let it fall to the ground, blades shredding it upon high level impact.

Jonah dropped from the sky, his last sword falling behind him. He landed with the sound of clapping thunder following him, quickly standing as a blur before catching his sword by the hilt. That was just plain annoying. He thought, snapping his fingers one more to bring all the blades before him and fusing the particles within his body once more. The last blade in hand, was sheathed upon his back before he jumped into the air, falling down upon his motorcycle and taking it into a spin by crashing his foot to the ground, stopping it within seconds. Jonah ran to the pub, seeing many within and safe, while others where injured. Walking over to the bar, Jonah caught Hanako's gaze. She was safe, someone that was like his younger sister and her safety set a smile on his face. If Hanako was to see it, she would know that such an occasion was indeed very rare.

“Hey. I'm back, Hanako. So, how about a round for me?” This was his only question, monotone and lightly worded without any strain from battle. It was as if he hadn't just fought and protected the place. No, this was just Jonah being himself and not wanting to be seen as anything but himself. He waited until Hanako dropped a beer in front of him with a nervous smile. He knew that look and held up his cell phone before speaking. As long as Hanako, her children, Koichi and Ventus were safe, nothing else mattered to Jonah.
