Shopping for Mother [Open] Empty Shopping for Mother [Open]

Sunday Market. A time and place for crowds of people waving fish, fruit, toys and peculiar foreign things in the air at customers to hope that they would buy it and make some money. What else would a market be here for? A man in a white apron had one leg on his stall table and shouted at the top of his lungs about some creepy blowfish he had in his hand. On the opposite side, there was a man doing a very similar thing but with bunches of grapes. he claimed they were the kind of grapes god would eat. That blowfish was also apparently one of the lords most treasured creatures for regal families to eat. It honestly took competition to a brand new level. None of it really interested this litrle girl wandering through at her own pace.

She looked with her sapphire eyes towards the man selling fish. It smelled over there and not of anything that appetizing. In fact, it made her want to puke. That kind of soggy damp towel smell you get when you leave the shower on for too long and everything gets wet. She wasn't here for that anyway. She turned to the fruit stall and waddled over clutching a small purse in her tiny fingers. The man of the stall turned to her and smiled, welcoming her closer to see his wares. He knew who she was. His loud joyful voice bellowed 'MARY! HOW ARE YOU TODAY!?' and she had to hold her ears so they didn't hurt. He apologised for shouting, and began to pick up some fruit before she said anything. 'The usual I suppose? You're mother sending you on errands again?' is what he said to her. He was an old friend. Mary had come here each sunday for the same things: Bananas, Apples, Pears and Grapes. It didn't cost much and it tasted great so the Maxwell family became frequent buyers. The girl lightly spoke back, trying to avoid noticing any of the people around her.

'U-um...Yes please...'

The man laughed, placing a heavy looking bag of fruit on the table and reaching his hand out towards Mary to take the money she was holding off her. Just then, a third man intervened. He ran past, snatching the Purse out of Mary's hand and causing her to drop the money in her hand and fall down to the floor. The man behind the stall started to move boxes out of the way of his exit whilst yelling out to whoever had just run past. Mary however, lay on the floor holding herself up by her elbows. She had one arm holding her leg and seemed much more worried about that than the money. The stall man managed to finally get out from behind his stall but the thief had already vanished. He leaned down to Mary to help her up of whom was still holding her leg. 'Are you alright? How mcuh was in that purse?'

Mary said nothing, didn't even cry about it.

Some call it a CURSE... Others call it a BLESSING... Me...?
Schrödinger Yuudeshi

A few moments after the thief had left, his shadow appeared again on the other side of the boxes. He was suddenly repulsed, falling back on his behind. Standing in front of him was a lone figure, his eyes two small points in a mass of darkness. The man felt fear; deep and absolute, as if he would never be able to repent, for a single moment... and then it passed. The teenager in front of him blinked, as his red eyes came into view, the cheeky smile on his face appearing, and the strange cat ears flapping on his head.

"It's not good to steal, nope. Not at all." He said, as he reappeared beside the man, his hand gripping onto the purse before removing it from his grip. The man merely let it go, before looking up at Schrödinger. "Now please go back from whence you came, and stop hassling little girls who can't even defend themselves." He said simply, his eyes widened slightly at the man as he got up desperately, before darting away, crying out and blubbering.

"Here you go miss!" He said, smiling as he held the purse out in front of Mary. He wasn't one to stand to stand for petty bullying, ESPECIALLY against ladies. Ladies were special things to be loved and taken care of, from Schrödinger's point of view. To harm or abuse one... well, it was the same as giving up your life to be destroyed from Schro's point of view. However, as always, he was excited to be able to help a girl, as his ears stood up at attention, changing to a brown color atop his head as he waited for her to take her valuables back.

I have an opinion of it.. and I do not at the same time...

The stalkeeper took Mary's hand and lifted her up to her feet. Her eyes were locked on her leg as she stood up, then darted to the shopkeeper of whom had a rather uncertain look on his face. Did he see it? Does he know? His lips formed a smile, and he patted her shoulder. However, not because he wanted to cheer Mary up or anything, but because of the man that was now approaching them holding a money purse. The exact same one that was stolen from her. This man went to hand it back to her and Mary merely looked on. Who was he? Wait. Does it matter? She reached out quickly and snatched the money from the hand without a word. The stallkeeper then took his hand off of Mary's shoulder and thanked the third man for getting the purse back. Mary still said nothing. Not even when the stallkeeper took the bag of fruit and held it out to Mary, with a smile. 'Here, you can have this. I shouldn't charge a girl after that sort of ordeal. it's a good thing we got men like this bloke around huh?'

Mary didn't respond. She looked towards the bag of fruit and just nodded at the one holding it. She took the bag, gripped it firmly, then looked back at her 'saviour'. What was she supposed to say? She didn't feel right. Something was wrong. She took a step forwards, then moved around the third man. As she got past him however, she stopped and turned her head to look at him.

'Thanks'

She then began to walk off back the way she came to get home. Would he try to stop her?

Schrödinger merely stared at the lady as she started to move away. He breathed out slowly, looking at the ground, before turning around. "Passive... So freaking passive..." He muttered to himself, looking up as he began to almost seem to drift in the crowd, before turning into a mass of shadow and vanishing. Why is it... that whenever I try... I try to be active... someone always is too F#CKING... He thought the word, vehemently violent in his mind, as he began shooting through Karakura. SO F#CKING PASSIVE THAT I HAVE TO DO EVERY LITTLE FREAKING NICE THING?! He wondered, before reappearing on top of a nearby building, overlooking everything and everyone in the city.

"What the hell am I...?"

"Am I not a human being...?"

"Am I not someone with a soul...?"

"Will I always be treated as if I don't exist, treated as if whenever I attempt to assist someone that they run away or have no interest in me? Will I ever find one who actually gives a f#ck about those around them? The answer... is probably not."

He thought to himself, as he curled up into a little ball on that roof, staring down at all the people walking by, a true sadness in his eyes as he watched them all go back and forth, so utterly saddened by his experiences since he had returned to the Yuudeshi clan that he just wanted to curl up and die...

Which he did, as he dropped his zanpaktou, having slit his own throat, his soul shooting down to the Demon World as Death Energy enveloped his body, rotting it into nothingness as he left that place in despair.
