Alot of you have been wondering what this whole rebuild effort is about, correct? Well, following the events that took place last week in the site's deletion, we eventually came to a conclusion that it was time to do some major work to Platinum Hearts in order to make this site a better place to be. So, below, I'll tell you some of the things that will be in store over the following month as we make Platinum Hearts even stronger then before.

Layout Change: I myself am planning on making a layout change in the coming weeks in order to go with the winter theme. I feel it's time with this rebuilding effort and I want to match the Christmas-y season. So you can expect that coming very soon.

Softcore Restart: As you've seen over the past day or so, we've been taking aggressive measures in order to clear out face claims, organizations, character applications and things such as that. This was done so that we could make a new start on the site, people could apply to new places and we'd just be hacking away at all the old stains on the site. You'll see more of this over the coming days.

Updates in Rules: There may be another update in the rules in order to adjust them to some of the revamp efforts we are trying to do on the site. However, we have not reached the phase of discussion and we'll most likely go over that later on in the week.

Rest Week: Are you curious to know why Platinum Hearts was so dead up until yesterday? Really, we all needed a mental break and needed to regroup ourselves after the stressful destruction of the site. Everything was simply too stressful and we needed awhile to console each other, I needed to get myself back into a good mental condition, we needed to get some plans in order and ultimately it was for the best we took that break so that we could come back swinging.

More Guides: In the coming days and weeks, Platinum Hearts will be releasing more guides on the site to better help people understand the site, help new members adjust to our culture and overall give people more information or guidance when it comes to integrating into the site. Human Changes: In regards to humans? We'll be splitting their templates into different races. We will have a Soul Evolution Human Template, Spiritual/Powerless Human Template and possibly a Fullbringer template if there is a demand for them. All human's can use Chi if they desire, but give us a few days or a week to come up with them.

Rearranging Staff: Some of you have noticed that there have been MAJOR changes in the chain of staff over the past few days. After last week's falling out? We decided that we were gonna come back fresh and rearrange staff ranks a bit. There will be ongoing trials with certain moderators/site helpers/advisors AND admins. Therefore, you'll have to bear with us a bit as I watch all of this play out in terms of long-lasting staff.

Community Efforts & Feedback: Over the next few days, I'll be making a series of threads on the site in order to ask people what they would like to see on the site. These will range from new locations, to questions about how the site is ran, to their feelings with staff, all of the custom races, how to improve the site and so on. I'll be doing something similar in staff, but they'll most likely be confined in the workstation threads and will be considered staff work.

New Locations & Removal Of Others: This is apart of the community effort, but there will be the possibility of new places to explore on Platinum Hearts in the coming days or weeks. This is because we've found some places have no places have no post at all, sums of people have been desiring new cities on Earth to play in outside of Karakura or the International/Wasteland board and we're basically just gonna see how it all pans out if we can get these new places to work correctly.

Mission Revamp: It's clear there is an issue with missions. As a result? We'll be clearing out all inactive missions and we will begin tinkering with this system. We will most likely have a system where you can choose to take Antag/Dark/Villain missions, Hero/Light/Protag based missions and a third board where you can choose to take either. We'll also offer more then just yen in the missions, we'll be making a new mission template and possibly adding a few other rare items and kinks into the system.

New Organizations & Fixes: I've come to the decision that we may need some new organizations. Why? I geniuely feel too stressed out to really manage some of the groups that I am apart of. As a result? I'll be letting JJ lead the Vizard Corps, possibly merging K-World + Monsuta + Shadow Fall into something akin to the Legion of Doom and letting The Yayjuu do their own thing. We'll also be removing Force Feedback most likely and that will leave the door open for members who have never lead the org to fill in those ranks and take the fucking strain off of my back. There may also be arrangements in other existing orgs as well, but do expect that.

Possible Power Adjustments: WE WILL NOT BE REMOVING THE CREATIVE FREEDOM OF THIS SITE, but There has been many talks about powerlevels, powerscales, how far abilities/techniques can go and the whole nine yards. As a result? We'll probably just be showing people what they can do with their powers AND making a power restriction/limit thread. (I.E. Time Powers: Do not travel back in time during a fight, Teleporation Powers: Don't be a dick and teleport a pole inside of someones head)

Plot Update & Events: Once some talks are had in the staff board, we'll most likely be removing the old plot thread and trying to come up with a plot that can be vague, yet broad. We've heard people say that our site's plot revolves too much around certain people or orgs. So, after hearing that? I intend to keep all the events, story lines, timelines and all that has occurred on this site in tact. However, I want to rewrite the plot where almost anything can happen, anyone can set off an event and it would basically turn the site into a free-for-all state; rather then waiting for certain people or things to happen...the members and staff could just get the ball rolling whenever. At least, that's a rough draft in my mind as of the creation of this post. We'll get everything worked out in the coming days, though.
