{Self RP/Private} Claiming the Heritage Hidden Long Ago; General Yadomaru's Lost Treasure Hall

It was a while ago that Hanako sent Gerard, the guild master of Fairy Tail away, knowing that the crosses are investigated and brought down. The tough part of accepting her situations is the idea that someone like or worse than her assassin, Mr. Caveman is greeting her with servants', including her mother's and her nanny's corpse hung from the crosses in a mass crucifixion to the already dead. What depraved mind would do something like this like a tribal totem of fear? It is never easy to accept at this point that her suspicions could b on the mark; she is in deeper danger than ever since she sent the guild master away and Koichi will not be there to save her if something happened. She will have to stand her own ground and utilize all methods to survive even the day or night with the assassin lurking about. Perhaps they are after the Treasure Hall, the hidden vault of wealth and mysteries that can lead to restoring the place of the Shikijou Family as the dominant family in Japan. However, Hanako planned to keep herself alive first, she will have to arm herself and get used to using weapons and armor so that she can hopefully survive to be teaching her kids about being part of a royal family. Inside the mansion, Hanako saw new faces walking about constantly as the old staff are killed ten years ago and was replaced by the new one prior to the mansion's reconstruction. What did not change were two rooms that held dear to her, the bedroom she slept and played with her mother and nanny in as a child and the training room where as a child would watch her mother trained against two people at once; her nanny and her father! Feeling that she is walking in her mother's path, Hanako walked to the training room to find four things that will help her; armor, a pair of fighting knuckles, a sword and a gun. Upon entering the training hall, the room stands at twice if not thrice the height of a normal room as the width and length are proportioned as a rectangle where Hanako stands on one end and the room seems to extend for yards. The walls are decorated with well kept weapons and armors as beneath the collection are the mahogany racks carefully crafted for specific weapons ranging from pistols to rifles, daggers to kanabo. For generations, her mother and her side of the family served as both protectors of Japan and devout allies of the Soul Society. Though none of them are substitute soul reapers, they are capable of helping the soul reapers with hard battles in the northern part of Japan. Unlike where Karakura stands, the Hollows of the Northern Japanese Regions are more tolerant to physical attacks, making them tougher for regular patrols to fight against a group of these Hollows. Now because of her mother's death, Hanako expects herself to continue that path, but also as the Empress of Japan, she would have to watch out for the interest of Japan as well. All she has to do is to discover her inheritance and see where fate decided to let her become; one for her country, one for her family or one for her tradition. Her father was a capable fighter, but he is not strong, so if he really has to face against someone like Mr. Caveman or Eric Zarathos, he will have to rely on his wits to escape them. Echoing behind her mind was the memory where her father mentioned that if they have enough time, they would have prevented this; along the way, she recalls seeing her nanny holding a katana like an expert swordsman while her mother stands by her side with her famed trademark rapier. But even with their combined strength and skills, Mr. Caveman no doubt overwhelmed them since they both are dead in the end. Hanako walks along the racks and walls as she scans for her much needed equipment. One rack has a case that holds a compact assault rifle complete with parts for modifications; there is also a case containing a machine pistol that is accompanied with a set of extended clips. She places the smaller case and opens it to retrieve the machine pistol before stashing it behind her while having her sweatpants' adjustable waistband hold it up with two clips to her left front-side for easy access for reloading. She takes another case for a second pistol, which also will be stashed behind her, but mirroring the first pistol so she can grab two pistols at once while she as two more clips on her right front side. The reason she done this instead of having the armor on first was to be ready for any sudden attacks. She then opens the assault rifle case and begins attaching the strap, the reflex iron-sight, and fore-grip for a mid-ranged sniper setup before she hangs the rifle over her right shoulder, pointing down with two clips stashed in center front-side. Already, she looks like she is ready to walk into war in her tank-top, sweatpants and without shoes. Continuing down the wall, she spots a sword that almost goes up to half her thigh with a straight blade that is clearly a diamond-tipped, made signature by the westerners; a short sword or a long dagger they called them. She picks it up by its scabbard and belt before walking over to the only armor that can fit her, an armor that her mother said that she will be wearing for training when she gets older. Funny thing though, maybe Hanako's mother did not expect her to be so short, so her "teen" armor will fit her well. The armor made for Hanako is considered a lightweight because it consists of a bodysuit, halterneck breastplate, shoulder guards, elbow guards, knuckled gauntlets, knee guards, shin guards and foot plates along with a half-helmet. All of the pieces have a hardened steel plate with leather covering them for more lasting durability against damages. The helmet was made to protect the head while the leather is covering the back of the head and neck with a metallic mask strapped to the cap for facial protection and doubled as multi-purposed filter for noxious gasses. The breastplate is hung around the back of the neck and around the waist for support while allowing the shoulder guards to be attached to them; the breast plate is only designed to protect the vital organs from frontal attacks, so her pelvis and back will not be well protected. The shin guards are strapped around the shins while the knee guards are strapped around the backside of the knees while the foot guards only protect the top of the feet as underneath it would be sandals that came with the bodysuit. The knuckled gauntlets protect the topside of the forearms and the top of the hands while protruding to the first segment of fingers to act as fighting knuckles. The bodysuit covers the entire body up to the top of her neck while made from fine latex coated in non-lustrous black, which allows for stealth and non-vital protection while it comes with a pair of sandals. Before she dons on her armor, she removes the weapons from her person and places them on the ground close by before unstrapping the armor pieces from the body suit. Considering that this property is private, no one would be watching as she undresses herself to her undergarments so she can put on the bodysuit. After that, she unzips the back of the bodysuit and slips into it like putting on a wet suit before pulling a strap to zip her.bodysuit back up. Collecting two knee guards, Hanako buckles them over her knees and for each, pulls their strap to secure them. Then with the shin guards, she kneels with her right knee on the floor before she buckles and secures her left shin guard before repeating for the right shin. Before she buckles the foot guards, Hanako puts on sandals and tied them securely like a pair of Shinigami's sandals, but with hardened leather for protection; she then buckles the guards over her feet and to her sandals. With the boots assembled, she slips on the gauntlets, getting her fingers through individual leather rings that secures her knuckles to her fingers while securing the guards to the top of her forearms. She picked up the belt and begins slipping pouches and two pistol holsters along the belt for the pistols and clips before buckling her belt around her waist and slipping the pistols into their holsters behind her. Most importantly, she picks up the breastplate and slips her head through the leather halter-straps that allows the breastplate and shoulder guards to hang from her neck and shoulders before she buckles and tightens the strap around her back to support the breastplate and make it easier for her neck to bear. Finally, she puts the helmet on her head and spreads the cowl out before buckling the mask on. As she hangs the rifle from her shoulder once again, she collects the clips and slip them into individual pouches before collecting two combat knives with clip on holsters that can lock them in place with each a single, quick-release holding strap to keep the knives from slipping out. She clipped the knives to each side of her breastplate so if she has to, she can quickly pull the knives out to continue fighting. After collecting her sweatpants and tank top, she walked out of the training room, ready for anything as she ventures to the Treasure Hall. Upon returning to the entrance hall of the mansion, a maid in a french maid long dress walks up to Hanako with green eyes and a brunette bob cut hair. Politely, the maid bows to Hanako before Hanako gives the maid her clothes. As Hanako was about to walk out the entrance, the maid cries, "You can't be going out there on your own!" Hanako turns around and looks at the six foot maid and replies, "I have to or it will not open. This will mean the survival of the Shikijou Family." Hanako walks out the door and begins walking long the path leading right from the building. The both on both left and right leads to the backyard where Hanako used to have picnics with her parents and childhood friends. At the backyard, there is a cellar door leading to a full-wooden room where the Golden Floor Portcullis lies dormant for a long time since Hanako been there. Remembering upon entrance to the cellar is the fact that each time she went in there, she was always accompanied by someone, but for what reason? It happens to be answered as the old wooden flooring collapses beneath Hanako's feet. |

Having fallen into a hole where the wooden planks are hiding, Hanako was struck with pain in the butt and adrenaline was slowly trying to take over Hanako's instinctual responses to a crisis. Hanako looks up and notices that the wooden planks are one trapdoor that acted like a seesaw. Everywhere she touches for a way to hoist herself onto her feet and feels a wooden cylinder. Hanako immediately knows it is a ladder that leads in and out of the underground...something. From behind her belt, Hanako draws out a flashlight as she gets herself onto her feet and shines a light upon her surrounding. There are reflections everywhere as with one beam of light, the entire hallway lit up moderately. Either the architect here is a genius or my mother is a world-renown treasure hunter. Hanako thinks to herself as she observes the hallway seemingly made out of gold. Though she feels that she should leave, she tasked herself with finding her ancestral secrets and she will do it to the best of her person. She ventures into the hallway while reading the markings on the walls for clues. Along the way down the hallway, Hanako noticed a figure avoiding something shining before him, which prompts Hanako to step back a bit and shine her flashlight onto the floor. One of many bricks shines brighter than the others and there are more of them ahead of her. She began looking around for any hint of traps. Since the markings are retracted comparing to the upper and lower cornier, and the floor has no fixed cracks, that leaves only the ceiling. A typical collapsible ceiling trap meant to keep the intruders going and they keep making fatal mistakes while closing them off from their "only" exit. Seems like something out of an Indiana Jones movie that came from KonTube that she usually watched at Karakura Central. Carefully, Hanako steps around the bright stones by stepping on the darker stones. Because of her sandals, she can be more flexible with her steps instead of fumbling around with extra area size of boots or sneakers. As she step-by-step around the trapped stones, Hanako scans the floor for more and the walls for more details on what will be next. It seems that deeper and deeper she go, the easier it is to breathe while the traps are getting more sophisticated. Upon leaving the hallway, Hanako walks into a room where unlike the rectangular hallway, the room was circular with a dome above that seems big enough to fit Ultimos or Rihiku in their dragon form. Looking back at the time where there was a fight in Fuma Park and she was rescuing survivors, she smiles because she knows that fight is what gave Hanako a chance to meet Koichi. She worries herself over (at least) spending precious time with Koichi, but she is still waiting for that time when Koichi would just sweep her off her feet like he did back during when a bounty hunter kidnapped her. However it will only be when she is in trouble; it is a problem because she does not want Koichi to go out of his way and waste his energy trying to save her so many times. With her children at the Fairy Tail Guild Hall, safe from even Eric Zarathos, Hanako can focus on finding a way through learning her ancestry. Scanning with her flashlight, Hanako can see the door at the other end is shut through a mystical mean because of the white glowing veins on its surface. There was no longer a need to find clues as torches light themselves, which Hanako finds convenient enough to turn off her flashlight. Emerging from the locked door were three mannequins of three different races; judging by the shapes, they are a Human, an Unseated Shinigami and a Bleached Bull Hollow. Through deduction from learning about Quincy, the modern Quincy existed before modern humans could obtain powers, thus the human mannequin is a Quincy type. To Hanako, this room is not a puzzle room, it is an arena where she has to fight her way out. Hanako looked at the mannequins as they stand before her, ready to throw everything at her to protect the treasure, but the anomaly is that they are all enemies to each other, so it may be an illusion to make this room a proving ground or something. "Three big men against one little girl; I guess chivalry is out of the question." Hanako speaks while she shifts her right foot back with her right hand curling into a fist as it reels back with the right foot. Hanako notices the Hollow rushing at her with its head and horns bent down to attempt for a ram. Being physically incapable of stopping it like her friends, Hanako lowers herself and springs towards her left; as the bull passes by, Hanako skids on the landing and strides sideways to find an opportunity to strike. The Quincy was already in the air with arrow drawn as he aims for Hanako; Hanako can see it as threatening, but considering that the Quincy is not firing now, the Shinigami will be in his line of attack! She listens carefully as she can hear a blade whistling in the air...CLANG! Hanako raised her left arm-guard in a split-second, catching the Zanpakutō before pushing it away; with the Shinigami falling and left opened, Hanako grabs the Shinigami by the collar of his robe and hides behind him as she punches him in the stomach twice before kneeing him in the groin, stunning him for the time being. Hanako then hears the familiar thumping of the Hollow charging at her again, causing her to shift her positioning so the Shinigami is not blocking the Quincy, but blocking the Hollow instead. The Quincy sees it as an opportunity and launches a barrage of arrows at Hanako, but the Hollow rams into the Shinigami, carrying him and Hanako with it as the Hollow receives the arrows instead of Hanako. Hanako lets go of the Shinigami as both he and the Hollow hit a nearby wall. By the time that the Quincy aims again, Hanako has her assault rifle out and was running towards the Quincy's general location while loading a clip. Instinctively, she merely hops side to side with each beat of the Quincy's arrows being fired. With a clip locked, Hanako feints a fumble and as she lands on her back, she aims her rifle quickly and a moment comes in form where everything seems so slow to her while she is moving normally. She fires her rifle with a loud bang as the next thing she knows, the Quincy's head was arched far back as it fades away from foot up. Victory was brief as the Hollow races at her at full speed. Holding the rifle vertically close to her body, Hanako rolls to the right, evading the Hollow by a few inches as she can literally feel it pass by. She gets back on her feet and begins stepping back while letting her rifle hang from her shoulder as she pulls out her pistol and loads it. After the Hollow turned around, Hanako takes aim and fires; the bullet crashes into the mask and causes it to split apart before the Hollow simply disintegrate from hooves up. Hanako only has one enemy left at this rate, the Shinigami who is recently getting back up from being kneed in the groin by Hanako and rammed by a Bull Hollow. Hanako simply removes the clip and bullet from her pistol and assault rifle before putting the bullets back into their respective clips and holstering them all as she walks to the Shinigami. The Shinigami looks at Hanako and readies his Zanpakutō before disappearing, typical for using a hoho technique. She can hear the step behind her and spins counterclockwise, kicking the Shinigami in the groin (again,) but with her heel instead of her knuckles. People can say that the knuckles will hurt more than the kicks, but when it comes to Hanako, her kicks are more fierce than her short temper (simply...THEY HURT LIKE CRAP, MAN!) The Shinigami squeals like a little girl as he falls over and fades away like his buddies. Hanako looks at the locked door and notices the white veins vanish from the door and the door just drop below the floor, opening the way closer to the treasure. "Feeling better than before, and I should keep moving before more comes up." Hanako says to herself as she stretches to loosen up the battle strained muscles. After the bit of exercise, Hanako walks through the unlocked door and continues to evade traps and learning clues. |

After her fight, Hanako has a hard time explaining why she felt like she learned a hard and dread-striking truth about something as she just fought and killed these mannequins without having to reason with them first. Yet, she feels lighter after killing them; even though blood never stained her hands; she still imagined them. It is also becoming harder to explain how she feels goosebumps under her flesh and a glow that is too faint to notice right away. These mannequins; I know they are illusions, but they somehow felt real enough that they even left an environmental footprint in the physical realm. Illusions are not meant to do that; this must be advanced magic being used and if that's the case, I'll have to be very careful when dealing with them. Hanako ponders deeper as she evades every trap that the walls dictated her to while using the flashlight as a torch to light the hallway. Unlike the previous hallway, the shiny bricks are becoming more numerous as each trigger is a bit bigger. When Hanako notices that there are holes in the walls this time, she can assume two things; poison darts or impaling spikes. She literally has to hop and leap over them to avoid triggering them versus just stepping over them. Eventually she comes to a dead end of the hallway with a sarcophagus sitting before her and it is definitely Egyptian. Given that the walls dictated that the mummy will show the way, Hanako has no choice but to open it; she checks her mask and opens the sarcophagus, causing the floor beneath her to collapse! Upon landing, Hanako crouches to soften the impact of the landing and slowly stands back up and uses her flashlight as she discovered the new hallway is wider and bigger than the last while it is silver instead of gold. Seems like a step down in terms of difficulty warnings. If this hallway is wider, then I'll be in for a ride if I'm not careful. Hanako looks around and consistently trying to find clues or panels for traps, but oddly, there is not a single panel on the floor and instead of markings on the wall, there are statues made of...something that is unfamiliar to Hanako. Since there is no traps, Hanako can walk more casually as she observes the statues. The strange part about them is that they looked like the mannequins from before, but they seemed to be more in variety than the three. This hallway appears to be full of Quincy, thus Hanako pulls out two of her pistols and loads them. Suddenly, the hallway grows brighter as Hanako turns off her flashlight that was propped onto her shoulder so she can use the pistols. I have a bad feeling about this; these statues are the mannequins. Just as Hanako assumed, the Quincy statues move on their own and easily surround Hanako with four on one end and six on the other end. Daiben! Engozen! (Shit! I'm Right!) The Mannequins set up a phalanx formation, which the Greeks used to make a wall with spears point out into an acute arc of forty-five degree angle; mainly to keep men on foot and on horseback from breaking their line. The Quincy behind Hanako go by four people in first row and two people in the middle of next row while the ones in front form up into a single line. They planned to enclose Hanako into a checkmate of either being stabbed in the back or in the gut. Apparently, they are not all that bright as they seem to ignore her pistols, but Hanako can always assume they can learn, so she has to make her shots count. Quick on her feet, Hanako runs to her left and hops onto a wall and bounces off it, flying over the furthest left Quincy, and then she swings her right pistol up as if whacking the Quincy with it while firing it with a bang! As the first Quincy falls to a headshot disguised as a melee strike, the other Mannequins observe as another left-side Quincy falls to what they believed to be "a hidden blade in a crooked handle" in Hanako's off-hand; two down, eight more to go and twelve bullets left in these pair of clips. Knowing these are Steele Schnieders, approaching them in melee will be suicide if the Quincy are in a group, so Hanako has to be a little creative when using the least amount of bullets. The Quincy cohort reforms into formation of four per row and two per column. They are capable of switching to ranged attacks and riddle her, thus leaving Hanako with very little choice. Off the top of her head, she recalls a phrase that seems to be etched into her mind since the fight in the first room--a phrase that rings somewhat true to her experience. "Reality is a lie as only the will of self creates all as gifted from the King of Souls." Hanako takes a deep breath and watches the Quincy cohort approaching her like a team of cats to a cornered rat. Nothing is really what they are. Nothing is really what they are. Only I can determine the outcome. Pistols, prove the theory true. Hanako raises her pistols toward the cohort and closes her eyes before squeezing the triggers. Gunfire erupts at a rapid succession, clearing out twelve shots total before Hanako stops on a whim that her clips are empty. When she opens her eyes, she sees the cohort are nowhere to be found and in response, Hanako checks her clips in her pistols while sitting against the silver wall, resting and recuperating from the events. To her surprise, both of her clips still have seven bullets left in each as opposed to being empty. Even more noticeable, her flesh is more radiant than before, but just by a bit. A theory comes to her head as she cocks a bullet out of her left pistol, surprising her that the bullet she fired to kill the Bull Hollow just miraculously reappeared in her pistol. Since the phrase has some truth to it, why has it not affect the others? Perhaps they thought if something is real, they can hurt it, yet it can hurt them as well. The cohort is decimated and none of my bullets are spent while I also got my bullet back from the Bull I killed. If reality is a lie, then all these things I did are merely done by my own willpower and not by my tools. If reality is a lie, then I will not be hindered by menial things like gravity and pressure. If reality is a lie, then all I can imagine are of my creation and no one else's. So I was injured because I chose to be and I was sick because I willed it as part of my deepest desire to be limited just for a moment. If that's the case, the Soul King willed these souls to have these emotions to keep themselves in check for when they are born in the world of the living. I am nothing but a servant to the Soul King, just like my mother. Hanako holsters her pistols while getting up before she continues on down the silver hallway, hoping to get more clarity for her theory. After entering the next hallway, Hanako can see six statues of Soul Reapers, mannequins waiting for her to pass by before ambushing her, but not this time. Hanako has a plan granted by her insights as to what the Quincy did as they appear. She pulls out a clip for her pistol and tosses from her hip down the hallway like a Frisbee. Click-clack-clack goes the clip as it bounces along the floor. Predictably, the mannequins come to life and instead of looking at the clip, they look at Hanako directly almost immediately. "Tch. You oafs are smarter than I thought." Hanako draws out her sword and her off-hand pistol. What catches Hanako off guard that these fakes just calls out, "Roar," "Howl," "Smash," and "Stab," before their katana turns into four different weapons; a masamune, a pair of kamas, a kanabo, and a nagata. That can mean one thing, she is dealing with possibly four seated officers in term of ranked Soul Reapers. Hanako rushes toward the group with her sword out in front and her pistol loaded and firing to keep the Soul Reapers from getting into a formidable formation like the Quincy did before. The first one to try to intercept Hanako was the one with the nagata, a spear with a curved blade instead of a point; Hanako knows that all she needed is to catch them in a vulnerability that exposes their vitals, places where if destroyed would spell death. As he thrusts, Hanako butts the spear away with her off-hand pistol and completes her snappy combo with with a thrust of her sword that is calling for the head; since the thrust was in mid-animation, the nagata mannequin cannot pull out with the momentum he used, thus he effectively rams his face against the point of Hanako's sword. Hanako was in the right stance with her right foot in front and arm extended straight and true as she quickly draws her sword out and shifts her right foot to the right while her sword is leading the shift; the sword catches the masamune, a longer version of the katana as Hanako points her pistol at the incoming Shinigami with a Kamas, a sickle normally used for harvesting, but is used by Ninjas to assassinate for its easy execution and defense. The one with the Kamas backs off to avoid getting shot as same with the one with the kanabo, a large iron club with spikes around its shaft while Hanako twists her sword counterclockwise to parry the next attack from the masamune. Hanako moves her sword towards her right as the Shinigami with the masamune moves back with the sword holding high above his head. Staring into the eyes of the mannequin, Hanako grips her sword tightly as many conceptual results are against her and him at the same time; to keep things simple, Hanako just shoots the Shinigami in the head with her pistol, watching his dumbfounded face as he fades away. As quickly as that Shinigami fades, Hanako already dispatched the enraged buddies of his, thus completing the fight with moderate ease. "Seems that the stronger they are, the dumber they are. Perhaps they are not smart at all and are just running on dumb luck." Hanako looks ahead and notices the door at the end of the hallway and it is locked and lo-and-behold, a new challenger arrives to guard the door. That new challenger happens to be no easy task as it is something that would challenge a lieutenant of the Gotei 13, an Adjucha Menos. |
