Riven smiled dryly as though he didn't seem to be overly amused by the comment, but he knew what she meant. "Keep in mind, every story is real..till proven otherwise, otherwise how did it happen to become a Story.. It's not a fickle dream that someone simply came up with over night all the time..But..back on track now..let's see.." Riven took a long inhale from his cigarette, what was it Edgar had done next he was trying to remember. Edgar and Elizabeth had done something. "Ah yes that's what happened, Ed-..I mean the Black King and White King, both decided to make a peace talk. This was however simply a means to kill The Red King's people, but they had lit a fire they couldn't put out." Riven's eyes looked at the cigarette now, remembering Molly. "Upon the death of each person, The Red King did something..something vile, he locked the Black King's Kingdom on all sides..he couldn't return inside..The Inside of the entire Kingdom was lit ablaze...The White Queen was simply a so broken that she would never walk again..You see..her family lived in the Black Kingdom, Persephone was her nickname, though more to fit her lover..Hades..whom I you can guess..the name of.. "
Riven took a long pause, drinking his Sprite now as he took a drag from the cigarette. " Now, The White King's son and daughter were also in the said Kingdom..What they'd done to the Red King had made him a monster, over 1000 people died from the smoke, the fire..And pain that came from being so supportive, you see..what really set all this off, was the fact they cheered and were pleased that the plan worked.. The Blue King Poseidon, tried his best to stop them..But..the deed was done..and the fire would burn into a new Age...The Age of Chaos was just beginning..and the story would continue, you see..More did come to the Red King, but his heart was so broken that..he vanished..Some believe he walks among people now, hurt and simply passing his time."

"Uh.. No. This isn't some 'innocent until proven guilty' thing. It's just a story and until that story is proven real, it's fake. Nothing more." she told him with an eyebrow raised. He continued on with this story. She laid her head back against the wall and closed her eyes, just allowing him to continue on with this tale of his. "Okay..." Kyron just shook her head once he finished the entire thing, "This entire story is just confusing. What the hell did they do to the Red King to make him have his bitch fit? And killing a thousand people? Did they all deserve it or is the Red King just as stupid as a most people with power?" Kyron had actually gotten interested in his story but those things confused and irritated her. She rolled her eyes and continued to relax with her head back against the wall. "He locked everyone inside... and just let them die. I want to know what the hell could have been so bad that he felt that was logical, rational, or right to do... Sounds to me like a mad child because he got his toy taken away." She reached out for her drink, feeling around for it without looking. She grabbed onto it, looked to see if it was hers, and then took a drink. Once done, she set her drink down near her, allowing her hand to rest around the glass as she listened to Riven's answer to her question.

"Hm..maybe so, that's a pretty good description of it..What was taken were the people..the Friends and family of the Red King, they were killed. Think of it this way, if someone came to you promising peace but killed everyone you've ever cared about, destroying your only home. So in this case, what the child King lost was his most treasured thing." Riven said calmly, he had done this himself, but no this didn't justify it. Riven had blood on his hands, he wondered if this girl ever found out. What she would say, Riven was after all the Red King he'd said it a couple nights ago. When they faced the Hollows, but this little thing here didn't matter since she'd never know. "So that's what happened in the stories climax. The Red King's punishment for letting his anger take him was that he never existed. That all memory him be stripped, though the story says that he wanders. Because the Island itself had mercy for him, some say he is in Canada and others say Japan. But the fire that lights his soul is still burning brightly. "
Riven left out details, for example he had no family. So the friends were his family, watching them die was the hardest thing he'd ever done. It had hardened him, made him use a gift for something so evil that he never did quite forgive himself. Riven had been punishing himself by smoking now, calming his spirit down whenever he felt it coming again.

"It was revenge..." Kyron said quietly in a whispered voice. Riven would be able to hear her. She said it clearly, just quietly. It was like she was thinking deeper on the story. "I guess..." Kyron began talking, a weak smile on her lips, "I guess you're right actually. If that was what was done... Then the Red King had every right to take his revenge. Of course... Two negative acts do not make something good. It's only justifiable." Kyron continued to think for a moment and then had one more question. "If... he killed everyone..." she said and then opened her eyes to look at him, "Who punished him? Who took away his memories?" Kyron may not be the most observant of people, but when she was focused, thinking, or listening to someone, she would notice the things that she needed to notice. She'd put things together in her mind that would allow her to ask for more information on a subject. She was a smart woman, whether other people saw her that way or not. She picked up her glass and took a very large drink. For some reason she was feeling very thirsty, which was odd since all she had been doing the past twenty minutes was drinking and talking with Riven. "It's strange..." she said suddenly, "How many stories you hear that are so wild or crazy. Do you ever think about the past? Like... The nineteen hundreds? Before all of this spiritual energy was discovered in humans...."

Riven let a sigh escape his lips he thought for a while, he could remember his crime. But remembering who took it all away, was harder. But the answer for someone with the knowledge of Athena and brain like hers, was so easy to figure out. " The answer is as it's always been..The very place The Red King Lived, it gave him both justice and punishment. It's goal was simple, to make an example out of The Red King. Exile was the example, so no one knows where he is." Riven took another long drag, as though trying to cloud a memory. "Though only a story till proven real, if The Red King exists ..he pry destroys himself himself for what he did..I'd imagine, he feels he dishonored his friends memory. But it's just a story..right? " Riven often told his story this way, people could know the details he knew but not in the way. Riven closed his eyes waiting for what she had to say. She seemed to realize that he had been so emotionally wounded and betrayed that he lashed out.
But she never would know hopefully that this man sitting across from her, was the Crimson Emperor, the Red King of the story. The man who brought ruin and destruction to the other kingdoms and broke the very society that the Island had. Change comes with destruction at times, birth only happens itself with a great deal of suffering. Riven knew this when he set out, but it wasn't ideal or what he wanted.

Something was bugging her. The way he had been acting about this so called story since he began telling it was odd. He acted emotional, like he was there. There was also a moment where he made a mistake. She assumed he was about to use a name. "Ed-" she thought when she remembered what he was saying. She sat up fully and looked to him, her eyes narrowed in curiosity. She turned her body to sit like a normal person, her legs now under the table instead of in the booths seat. He went on about how the Red King likely destroys himself if he is wandering around, and then he said a single line that peaked her curiosity a bit more.
"But it's just a story..right?"
"Hm..." Kyron placed her arms on the table, cupping her hands within the other and looked him straight in the eye, "I don't know... Why don't you tell me?" Kyron stared directly at him, not breaking eye contact as she allowed a silence to come through. Suddenly the storm got worse. Lightning struck, thunder roared, and the electricity began to flicker, causing the lights to go in and out. Kyron still did not move. She stared at Riven as if she were waiting for some sort of answer to his own question. Then the lights in the entire block went out. "Ah shit..." Kyron said. This was a perfect distraction for the two of them now. Kryon rolled her eyes and looked up to the ceiling. "Looks like the storm took the power out..." she said with a slight chuckle, "Well I'm stuck here... what about you?"

Riven's eyes were narrowed for a moment in the darkness, he let a breath go. He saw no reason to give away himself yet, yes he was the protagonist of the entire story. But he gave his hands a soft wave, a couple candles were around the bar and area. Each gentle flickered to life. He let his hands drop to their sides, the flames were warm and comforting rather then things people brought from lighters. He gave the bartender a wave, letting her know he took care of the lighting situation. "The story hasn't been proven real, so it's still just a story." Riven said answering Kyron's question now, well her redirection of his own on him. He wasn't ready to share the truth with this one yet, his other friends laughed and grinned. But also failed to see why the Red King became what he did. His mother and father were the limit of who knew, his siblings had no idea. His mother and father found him on a beach alive but resting, as though he was about to die. Riven had floated ashore to Japan.
What happened before hand was simply tactically stupid. Riven had been judged and sent away for the sheer amount of pain and death. The others remembered, Thunder and Lighting. Zeus, the King who was known to be the greatest among them. Not to mention a dear, dear friend of Riven's. He once told Riven that fire is great and lighting amazing, but people learning to use them were much more amusing.

Kyron nodded to him, staring for a while. "Yeah... Just a story." she said as she stood up and walked towards the bartender. "Kyron, do you think you can do something about it?" the woman asked. "Yep. That's what I'm here for. Hand over the keys..." she said and the woman handed her some keys. She turned to Riven and smiled, "You wanna help me out? Or you gonna make me go out into the dark alley all on my lonesome?" Kyron said with chuckle in her voice. She walked towards the back, expecting him to follow. She grabbed onto a raincoat and put it on. There was another there for Riven as well. She put over the hood and unlocked a door. She opened it up and immediately a very strong wind pushed through, causing her to actually lose her balance and almost fall backwards. "Ah!" she said trying to catch her balance. Once she did, she grabbed onto a flashlight on a shelf and walked into the alley towards another door. Switching keys, she unlocked the door and looked back to Riven if he was there. "Here hold this." she would say and hand him the flashlight. She'd then push the door open and walk over to a panel.
"Just needs a bit of power..." she said and then walked towards it, "Can you hold the flashlight up to it please?" Once he did, she'd use another key to open the lock on this and open up the panel. She stick her hand inside and send a large charge of electricity through. "Once it's started, it'll hold itself up for an hour." she explained and then the entire bar suddenly lit up again. "Nice!" she said as she locked it up again and stepped out. Waiting for Riven, she'd lock the second door and then begin walking back towards the bar.

Riven simply watched the female work, nodding it seemed this weather was going to be the death of the man. How was he supposed to keep a straight face when remembering this past, he did as asked each time. He kept mostly quiet, the story did often bother him. He'd never explained to people why he did what he did. He was childish and shouldn't of done what he did. Killing innocent people over the loss of something like friends. Riven hadn't really ever cared much about anything but that one crime. He was surprised how little this one may know, but she had something so precious. Those inside this place were what she needed. Riven's eyes turned, he could hear a noise and it was fairly far off. Little Riven's knowledge and her's something was going to be here soon. Something not native to these lands, not native to most monsters people knew. Though Riven would know it, he wouldn't be able to forget it's face without fighting off that monster, it meant blood and death. The sound of the mighty beast echoed through out. It's hooves broke the concrete, as it tossed cars aside like play things.
This rainy weather was a strange time for it to be wandering down town, it's glamour was able to keep it from normal people. It may of just seemed to be part of the storm, it was going to come around front of this place. It would be a couple minutes, Riven's eyes seemed distracted as he touched his heart. Something was wrong, his heart was telling him it was so.
