Seeing that things had calmed down, Silver relaxed a bit. However, this relaxation was interrupted when he suddenly heard a voice in his mind. He quickly recognized it as telepathy, and it was coming from the strange girl. Silver immediately wondered how it was possible. As far as he knew, he was the only one able to use telepathy in the whole school. It was very strange to Silver, but what was even stranger was the fact that Perseus didn't seem to hear what she was saying. She must not have been projecting her telepathy.
"Sure thing," Silver thought back, probably surprising the girl by speaking through telepathy as well. Now Perseus was about to lead the girl somewhere, but before he did that he suddenly turned to Silver. He wasn't quite off the hook yet. As it turned out, he had to spend the lunch & afterschool hours in the chemistry lab. Just what he needed...no food and he had to spend his free time at school again. He would have rather just been taken to detention.
Hearing Perseus yell for him to get to class, Silver jumped and instinctively sprinted for his classroom.

Perseus went inside his office and sat down in his comfortable chair as he started to go through her papers and looked at her exam scores. He heard her say that she wanted to be in the same class as that kid, Silver. Eventhough she was over qualified to be in that grade he didnt see why she couldnt be there, but then again he could have some fun by messing with her. "oh dear im so sorry, but your scores are much to high to be in class 2-S" He said frowing. "Im going to have to put you in my class since there really is nothing else i can do." He continued as he marked that she was to start in class 2-S just like she wanted, hopefully without her knowledge of all of this.
"Well" He said as he got up from his chair and picked something heavy from the floor. "As a student in my class your going to need to help me in the chemistry lab" He then put a heavy microwave on the desk and looked at her and said "Here you look strong carry this up to room 3-B. Its on the third floor". As he then walked out of the office not looking back.

The girl was pleasantly surprised, when the male spoke to her mentally. It was certainly useful, now that she could easily speak to him any time anywhere. In a way, he had just allowed access to his conscious, awake self for her. That was a perfect, amazing thing. That sort of communication was priceless ; yes, she had done well in picking this man to remain by her side. It was going to certainly be advantageous, as the girl slightly relaxed, knowing the male will be in class. She let out a breath, and simply watched him write. Taking in the accent of his curving strokes, and numbers, she could guess the information he filled in, and was satisfied with her request granted. But she wouldn't answer him, just kept her face apathetic. 'Silver, you are in class 2-S, correct?' she mentally asked him, making sure of it. It was the indication that she would not allow holes in her plans. The girl was quite stubborn when it came to that, as she simply watched the teacher. His words were false, but she let a scowl cross her face ; why not let him think he won? She was the superior one, therefore it wouldn't matter if he thought he had the upper hand. It was a mercy that would bestow upon him for now. The girl watched him place a microwave, of all things, on the desk, and tell her to bring it up to a location she could not know as a new student. And then he walked out. The girl wanted to laugh derisively, but she could not, as she simply lifted her body. Luckily, she had memorized the school like the back of her hand, wandering here at night. She was it's ghost, the presence many were afraid to even understand if they stayed too later. That was the function of Shimekiri ; to haunt the places in which her sister had once been, the sister she had spared. It was almost a stalkerish obsession, that she craved and desired to follow more. She had to know her sister in ways that no one would understand. And this, registering to the school she was going to, was another step. A deadly smirk touched her lips, as she simply glanced at the microwave. Normally, a girl would have trouble carrying it. With a sigh, the child stood, and picked up the microwave itself. By using her knees to lift, the girl walked towards the elevator, as she steadily wavered. She arrived there, and pressed the button, waiting for the elevator. Selecting the third floor, she pressed the button again. 'Silver, it seems that I'm being sent on an aimless task, but I should be able to meet up with you soon. Possibly for next period, to be introduced to the class. Hmm.. I'm not sure what to do, to be fairly honest. You are perhaps the first friend I've ever had.' spoke the girl mentally to the boy, choosing the time of her aimless wandering in order to do so. Although, she bet they wouldn't be able to use this power during tests, if the teachers found out. 'Does anyone know you can speak telepathically?' she asked of him curious. She could easily set up a few things.. yes.. this was a good move on her part. She was definitely poised now, almost ready. It was going to get interesting, to say the least. |
