Of Strawberries and Tomatoes

In all of the 400 years since the war against Aizen, something like this had never happened before. He and Renji were friends... somehow. Of course, none of the two would actually say that out loud, seeing as they had some kind of rivalry between each other. He didn't see Renji for quite some time now, though, when he finally appeared again... and made the strangest Request ever.

Standing on one of the training grounds, Ichigo had his typical frowned face, looking quite serious. Zangetsu was tied to his back as usual, and the slight cool breeze of this day made his Kimono, the cloth of the blade and the orange, spiky hair, giving the whole scene an even more serious look. His friends - like Renji - of course knew that Ichigo only had the tough guy act up all the time, and was actually a very caring and nice friend.
But still... TRAINING Renji? It was a not spoken truth that Ichigo was way stronger nowadays, but he never trained anyone before. If he could even do it, this day would show. Hopefully, Renji didn't get lost on his way here, and Ichigo was standing around waiting for nothing. If he was, he would be a tad bit pissed off in the end, and kick some redhead ass. That he most likely would also when training Renji was an unfortunate fact.
