A New Beginning. [P]

No, of course not. I would never stoop to such a level.
A young man, still a boy by some standards, walked down the streets of the market. With a slight arc in his back and lack of bounce in his step, he gave off the appearance of apathy. He was merely going about his day, not the day of anyone else. It wasn’t that he didn’t care; rather, he was tired of caring at the time. It was truly ironic, considering he was in the market for his advisor. Ever since his parents passed, he had been spending time with an advisor at the orphanage. That person was the closest person in his life at the time. Considering that his parents were dead and that his friends were scarce, it wasn’t saying much. He felt an obligation to help whenever he could; he owed quite a bit to his advisor. All of the support and emotional aid really was the only thing keeping him afloat, as much as he hated to admit it.
Individual strands of purple hair grazed alongside the boy’s face as he walked, looking around the market for some food to satisfy his tastes. He was not a very picky eater by any means, but he wanted to save some cents here and there while appeasing his advisor’s interests. His golden eyes seemingly stared ahead as he turned his head from side to side, catching glimpses of the alleys as he passed them. What could he say? The darkness in the alleys was alluring, to say the least.

A darkness that was charming and seductive. Dancing across the lines of the mind, shadowy and eternal. There was a draw to that darkness, that often pulled those too curious into absurd depths : and sometimes, they met a void where they never escaped, but embraced. The darkness is said to be evil : it is feared and repulsive, the dark is something undesirable. It's unknown mysteries have always frightened humans : that's why light was invented, found. That's why the humans often worshiped the sun as a primary deity : good and light were always better then the dark and it's evil. But yet, snakes danced to a lovely tune, and the slow, sensuous movements of whores brought often completion to those that only wander the light. Without the dark, the light would have nothing : it would be nothing. And often, these concepts battled within a human mind and soul : light and dark, good and evil. Two halves of a whole : as neither is complete without the other. The endless struggle is a symbol that lasts eternally, always present. The sick crack of bones snapping : the splatter of blood on the walls. The gentle crying of a mourning widow : the soft wind breeze. All things linked to light and dark : to the balance of two things that made a whole. Such things were expected, were understood at a primal level : thus, humans always had a choice, and even those that made a choice had a secondary chance. For balance is always looking to be restored : and redemption was something often sought, but never truly found. Because even if one should redeem themselves and find salvation, the dark is still there, always. For one is not complete as a halve, but a whole. So if one was to find salvation, one could sink in decadence just as easy. It was the nature of things : and that was the darkness, calling, sinking. A gentle moon was beautiful, enchanting : and yet a harsh sun was unwanted. Such things, dualities and sub-branches, were was a fascinating concept of human kind. And many choose the path of light : freedom, and good. However, there was still those that, charmed by the darkness, fell into lust and succumbed to it's tempting whispers. And thus, light become dark : but good prevailed and made light again. Yet under every light, there was an evil, a true dark evil that meshed with the goodness of light. It was simply the matter of controlling both in order to show what one wanted : and few understood the subtle arts of manipulation and boundaries. It was foreign, and one of the hardest things to do. The darkness of an alley that the male was passing by was deeper. It led into an abandoned subway tunnel : and yet a startling, strange sight would catch his attention. Short black hair, and a crimson dress against the gray white tiles : the flickering lights of the tunnel barely illuminating the youthful figure. The lights made her skin almost translucent : like a ghost. Her frame was slender and small : her body was well proportioned. The figure began to move down the dangerous tunnel : a gentle, innocent girl going down a dark path. And as such, it began : a subtle dance of manipulation and of darkness against light. A naturally good person would immediately try to stop the girl : and if he shouted, she would keep going. Would he follow her? Only time would tell, as the beautiful crimson dress flowed with each of her awkward seeming movements. |

Each of the alleys seemed more alluring than the last, perhaps a sign of the darkness starting to reach him. The darkness was attractive; the darkness was beautiful. The mystery was too strong; the mystery made him too curious. All of his ambitions seemed to throw themselves to the wayside. All of his objectives suddenly seemed insignificant. It was almost as if he was drawn by some sort of magnetic force. A hand moved up to his head, slipping between those purple locks. He could not help himself as he fought this urge; it was undeniable, pulling him toward it. His fingers began to grip his head, nails digging into his scalp. This was not simple curiosity; it was more than that...stronger than that. He finally strayed from his path; he took the next alley available to him.
The young man found himself walking down that alley, ignoring all of his other wants and wills. This was in front of him; this was real. He took hold of it and did not look back for even a second as he walked down that alley. The alley continued and continued for what seemed like hours, though only seconds. Each step was like indulging on this secret, wanting to know about what was beneath the surface of this mysterious beauty. The secret soon showed itself. It was a subway...no, it was more. A beautiful crimson dress, short black hair, the pale frame of a girl - all danced in front of him. He stared at such a sight, unable to look away from this beautiful scene. The girl continued to dance, almost beckoning him. Her skin was nigh shining in this darkness. He could not help himself. He followed her. He continued to gaze with his fixated golden pools. This was the beginning....

A figure that wandered into the dark alley, following the ghost of a girl. Like ethereal waves, lapping on a shore that was impossible, imaginative and yet it was clearly real. A reality that was oppressing and crushing ; and yet, the drifting waves of delicate imagination. These were two married things, and fused into a single instead, letting one or the other drift off into the cast illusion of light and shadow. The myriad of truths and shadows were elegant, needless to say. Many had cast their dice in search for such a beautiful thing ; and many have failed, but sometimes, the world has mercy on those that have suffered. A mercy, or is a damnation? It was a question that was amusing, almost delicately thrilling. It was a pump of blood in a lifeless corpse ; the whirl of a clock on a dead machine ; the sudden stir of a lethargic stump ; the final cry of a long silenced foe. Ecstasy pure and longing, it was a clawing feeling to many. A beauty, no matter how wonderful, could be marred with horror in the blink of an eye. The girl stopped moving, and soon it would become obvious ; there was no sound, no noise. Nothing that showed that there was life around the purple haired boy, and the girl that he followed. But there was a bright light ; and it shone like a delicate flutter of wings, spraying everything around the girl. And that's when it became noticeable ; a dark trail that had followed the girl, the male's steps just to the left of it. A trail that was unnoticeable in the dark, but now, it was visible. And the girl stopped, her short hair fluttering in the light breeze that danced upon the empty area. A song of the dead ; a requiem of the lost. It was a dance of death ; the smell of blood now hit. Stagnating, metallic iron. A tidal wave of rot and darkness, suddenly engulfing the senses. In a way, it had always been there. But as the charm of the girl had faded, so did the self-centered illusions ; and the ugly truth was revealed. The dress was smeared in blood, and the girl was covered in it, has been dripping for a while. ''Ah?'' a voice spoke. It was a crystal like voice, a sort of sound that ate and yet devoured it all. Beautiful, breath-taking ; and yet the sheer mass of rippling darkness echoed. The girl turned, revealing an eye patch, and a pale, delicate face. After all, she had only turned to her side, as the light played shadows across her ivory skin. The girl's lip just curved into a bone chilling smile, as it was full of something that no girl should even think of, not from the appearance of her age. ''Curiosity killed the cat and satisfaction brought it back. But whom is to say that it was the truth? after all, it was only a simple ruse. So, little cat, what has curiosity brought you back? Wandering, meager, and eager to meet a demise? Therefore know, cat, that there is never any slack. No matter how much cleverness you may devise A breath that held dear, will no longer rise.'' |

This feeling is unexplainable. The darkness draws all in, peaking curiosity so easily. The mysteries in the darkness just are too coaxing to ignore, too brilliant to overlook. The elegant unknown just holds too much dominion over curiosity to allow thoughts to roam; focus remains on what could be, and the mind focuses completely on discovering what is there. What can exist and what does exist – that glorious wonder is just too tempting to remain unanswered. Reality gives way to imagination, and imagination leads to desire, the desire for imagination to be reality. It is a perfect fallacy, showing both everything and nothing at once. The question lingers: what is this reality? What lies beneath the veils? Is it simple or complex? Is it innocuous or hostile? Is it friend or foe? The answer drives so many insane, and the darkness is penetrated, the answer the holy grail.
Haar persisted in his trailing. He wanted to know what this darkness held, especially with regards to this girl. He could feel his mind blocking out everything else, the focus on her alone. He wanted to speak, but he could not find his voice. Instead, he just watched her move in her dance, the darkness swelling the mystery surrounding her. He fought his urges to chase her, but he could not resist his own curiosity. Eventually, the girl spoke in such a soft voice.
“Ah?”
This was followed by the most beautiful of poetry, words flowing from her lips in such effortless symphony. He could only describe the words as beautiful, music to his ears. His eyes still locked on her, he began to step closer. He was a curious cat indeed, and he made sense of her words to his best extent. He released his breath, speaking in what was locked up inside him before then.
“Why are you here? It’s dangerous to be in such a place alone. Are you lost? I can help you…”
His voice trailed as his gaze fastened tighter on the figure, the girl that capture his entire attention, no small feat. He continued to walk toward her in a loose yet controlled manner, still lost in that girl’s sole revealed eye.

The soft dance of utter curiosity ; the lack of surprise at the entirety of the picture. In fact, she smiled now, her lips touching into a fluttering darkness. He still refused to see the truth. What an admirable boy, as her body slipped towards him, her fingers now touching him. His cheek was curved, as with an almost hungry touch, she devoured his lips with her own. Forcefully, and yet fluttering ; the speed in which she had covered the space between her to him was immense. She was stronger too. But her touches were so light, so sensitive, as she gave him a bruising kiss. Another mind game, to play and dance around with his mind. The taste of blood had passed from her mouth to his ; metallic and dusty all at once. The entirety of her face was suprising ; after all, there was an eyepatch on her other eye, as she pulled away from the suddenly hot kiss she had given him. The dark smirk still played on her lips, as the cat, she had named him, had refused to hear her warning. Or rather, he had refused to understand it, his fascination with her blinding him to the very senses which had kept him alive this long. Her hands roamed over his skin, slipping under his clothes. It was not a sexual or sensual type of caress. It was rough and aggressive, and even then, tinted with a hint of absolute disdain. A darkness that was swallowing, as the crimson eye of the girl was blood itself, swallowing whirling. Yes, she had decided that he would belong to her ; a whim, a moment's instance. But she had decided, and the fact that Jashin chuckled in the back of her mind, was almost amusing. The girl's grip changed, taking him by the hair and roughly yanking him down at her feet. Once down there, the girl roughly placed her foot over his throat. He wouldn't be able to move without hurting his breathing, as the girl just gave him a dancing smirk. Her voice spoke out, like a dancing melody, holding a strange darkness as she spoke to him, some of the blood dripping from her falling onto his face. ''The darkness needs no reason to breathe It simply choses where to take it's leave. Only a fool would try to hold it's understanding Leaving nothing in their hands by suffering. So cat, curisosity is about to kill you Whatever shall your mind say to do? Satisfaction won't revive the fool's actions Therefore, simply find the best reaction. In the end, belong to one that claims And maybe you'll make it to the end of today. Refuse and scattered petals in the wind is your fortune A moment that all would say way too soon.'' |

Nigh instant was this girl’s movement. She had covered so much space so quickly; he swore he did not blink. The shock brought about this girl’s speed and likely strength was present as his eyes glowed with curiosity. This girl intrigued Haar, drawing him in more and more with each passing second. This girl was a mystery, and he wanted to know more. As one would read a novel, he wanted to turn the next page. She had called him a cat, that curiosity would kill him. Yes, his curiosity was peaking, indeed, but he did not turn back, not fearing what was to come. Quickly, though, she stole his lips. A kiss, their lips locked. He did not fight it in the slightest. In fact, his lips trembled in longing as she broke the hastened kiss. He felt warm…as though that was natural; it felt right. Despite the taste of blood, he thought that it was right. In fact, the taste of blood only allowed his curiosity to grow. He saw her grin; he saw her emotion. That smirk inspired him as she slipped her hands around his body, touching his worn skin. His slender frame was still built, the muscles seemingly shaking as she touched them. Oh so suddenly, though, she grabbed his hair, and she put him on the ground. He grunted as she put a foot over his throat. He wanted to struggle; he wanted to overpower her. However, something felt wrong about doing so. He could feel that the best action would be to play it safe and let the events to pass. Her voice rang out like a melody, and he just stared at her, intently watching her lively smirk. She spoke, her lips moving oh so gracefully. His raised his hand in response and grabbed her ankle, but he did not attempt to move it. In fact, he held it in place, watching her expressions. She talked of the darkness and how he needed to comply to survive.
Not for a single second did he consider refusing.
“I would dive into the darkness with full force without looking back.”
Haar readjusted his hand further up her leg and pulled, trying to pull her down to him, wanting to be closer to her. His curiosity was converting into desire, and his eyes sparkled with life.

The male was shaking, trembling, asking for more. It was like he craved her darkness, craved her evil. That sent a spike of pleasure along her body. As his fingers touched her ankle, she didn't mind, as he spoke his willingness. What a fool! Did he not realize that he had just forfeited all that he was, for the sake of curiosity? Ha! A fool, like her sister. Yes, that was going to be amazingly beautiful, as she felt her entire body almost quiver. But her iron will snapped it, as she suddenly put force into her foot, sending pain in his body, preventing him from pulling her down. She was choking him with her food, as her entire face livenned up now, twisted into an unholy smirk. Had he not realize what he had just spoken!? In a way, his permission gave her absolute power over him. The girl wanted to abuse him, harm him, twist him, corrupt him. It was now a burning desire to just turn and worsen him, because she could. He had given his entire being over to her dominion ; as such, she would never, ever let him go. A small, sort sound ; and then suddenly, her voice echo'd in a dark, manic laught. 'Oh gods, you're so STUPID! Just letting a random stranger have your everything without even thinking about it! That is certain rich I tell you!' her mind stridently told him. Her mental voice was like in hysterics, as her fanged teeth flashed in the poor light, as the girl began to stomp on him. 'Ha! Gave yourself over just like that! Fool, fool! And yet you enjoy it, don't you, sick perverted bastard! You were just aching to get hurt like this, weren't you!' her mind chided him, the edge of hysterical glee in it. A dangerous thing ; he had given himself, weak and all, over to a psycopath. The male was viciously stomped on for a few minutes, the girl certain he'd have bruises and would be bleeding as well, as she moved her foot away. Leaning over, she violently grabbed him by the hair, and threw him hard into the wall, that smirk on her lips. 'Ohh.. what a pathetic thing.. beg for forgiveness from your master.. do it~' she told him with her mental voice. She was enjoying this almost cruelly, as if she wanted to just rip him apart. The blood lust that lingered in her eyes and body was alike to a hunter, tasting their prey's weakness. The male had brought this to himself, as she would willingly abus him over and over and over and over again. Once his body grew weak, she would attack his mind ; and vulnerable more still, his heart. She was meant to twist and destroy ; that's why she was the End. The girl scratched her nails down his chest, as she smirked. 'You said you'd follow this wholeheartedly.. what about now, little cat?' she asked him, slowly pressing her body up to him so that he couldn't escape, letting her ample curves brush up against him. Torture, abuse, torment, and a lack of self. That's what the crimson eye promise, even as the curiosity to see under the eye patch must be great.. and in a way, this close without pinning his arms, it was almost a dare. But would the male take her bait, and become her pet? That.. she couldn't wait to see. |
