Intended Interaction [Closed]

Kynria was a elegant looking young woman in almost every way. She was blessed with a lovely figure, a cute face, and gorgeous long brown hair that she does take some pride in. She was a rather intelligent girl, a quick thinker and quick in action. It was her first year at Karakura High and as usual she kept to herself. She move through the day smoothly, doing what she needed to do, and never seemed interesting in anything or anyone. She kept everything on the inside, showing no emotion on her face. She could be doing her favorite thing and no one would be able to tell. This was just her way of keeping herself from getting hurt or into a situation she didn't want to be in, otherwise she really is a normal teenage girl. It was lunch time finally, and she picked up her things and began making her way through the halls and to the back of the school. She wasn't one to go and try to make friends. She for some reason feels that others have to come to her and accept her into their group before she begins showing any care for them. Strange in a sense, but it's the way she works.
Finally she found her spot underneath a large tree. She was happy with the distance between her and everyone else. She sat down, leaning her back against the trunk of the tree and then pulled out her lunch. It was just a small box of rice, vegetables, and small cuts of meat on the side. Pulling out her chopsticks, she began enjoying a quiet lunch away from everyone. There were moments where she'd see people in the area glance towards her as if she were weird to them, but she ignored it, trying not to let it get to her. Taking a deep breath, she looked away from the groups of people in the eating area and began to relax, wondering what her next class was going to bring forth.

Minami was a rather petite individual. She was not very tall, and her entire form was very slim. A very attractive girl overall, very pretty. Her hair was a purple color, one that almost looked brown in certain lights. She always kept it up in a ponytail with a big yellow bow. It was almost never down. She had a cute face, with bright green eyes. Her chest was almost flat, she did have breasts, but they were A cup at best. Some people joked about it, but she liked herself the way she was. Though her attitude didn't always show it, she was rather intelligent herself. Not a genius, but she was indeed very smart. Minami was in her second year in Karakura High. She was a rather friendly girl, but she didn't really have any real friends. It was hard for her because she had no spiritual power. Absolutely none, she couldn't even detect hide nor hair of a spirit. It wasn't easy to make friends when over half the people around you were invisible outside of school grounds. Even harder when you consider the remainder treated her a little differently since she couldn't see spirits at all, almost like she was handicapped. As nice as they were, it made her feel no better.
Still, any distress or loneliness the girl might have felt was never shown. She was always cheerful and pleasant. Minami went through her classes as she usually did. In class she was generally quiet and diligent. Today she hadn't talked to many people yet, and eventually the lunch bell rang. She got up out of her seat and headed for the door. A few of her classmates asked her if she wanted to eat with them. As nice as they were, Minami could tell there was pity within their offer. It didn't upset her too much, but she wasn't going to just take this kind of pity. She politely declined and said she would some other time. She saw they were headed for the roof, as that was where many students ate. Minami would rather avoid them for today, so she went the other way.
The other direction led to the back of the school. It was certainly a beautiful day outside. Minami inhaled a breath of fresh air before stepping out into the area. There weren't many people out here. There were some she could have eaten with, but she didn't quite feel comfortable with them. That is when she noticed one girl sitting under a tree. She was just sitting there, eating alone. Minami didn't think there was anything wrong with it, but it was strange to see someone all alone. In her mind, eating with her would be better than eating alone. As such, she walked over until she was directly in front of the girl. What are you doing here all by yourself? It was a simple question, the only one on Minami's mind. She waited and listened to the girl's answer before asking the next question. Do you mind if I eat with you? Minami hoped that the girl she spoke to was kind, or at least wasn't going to be rude despite it being such a polite question. She didn't want to hear a response that sounded insulting. Though something about the brown haired girl in front of her told her it wouldn't be like that.

Kynria's eyes had closed, relaxing to a small breeze that blew through the area, caressing the skin along her face. She took a deep breath and slowly let it out. Suddenly her relaxation was interrupted by the voice of a young girl. Kynria turned towards the person who spoke and blinked a few times in curiosity of the girls sudden arrival. She didn't say much at first, she only stared at her. After a moment or two, she did decide to speak up and answer her. "This is really just where I wish to be... Why are you over here instead of being with the others?" Kynria blinked a few times again then looked back down to her food. Taking her chopsticks, she once again brought some rice to her mouth and took another bite. Hearing the next question, she turned towards her once more and nodded. "If that is what you wish to do, yes... You can eat here with me." Kynria's voice was calm and sweet sounding, although there was a slight 'distant' feeling when she talked. She wasn't used to people just coming up to her and speaking. She rarely ate with anyone, nor did she know this girl, so that just made it slightly more confusing for her.

Minami sat upon hearing it was okay to. The girl sounded sweet enough, though there was a distant sound to it. Minami didn't care though, since it seemed like she was being treated as the girl treated everyone else. That was something Minami really liked. She opened up her lunch and began to eat. She looked over to Kynria as she asked her why she wasn't with the others. Why am I not with the others? Because I'm not really friends with anyone here. They are nice to me sure, but... She trailed off a bit, it wasn't something she really liked to make a point of. They look at me as if I am strange, some of them even seem to treat me like I'm disabled. I ignore it, but it just gets on my nerves. She was surprisingly open. She wasn't looking for pity, it was obvious she just wanted to get this off her chest. All she wanted was someone who treated her normally, not necessarily like a friend. You seem like someone who would just treat me as you treat everyone else. Which is why I came over, I can't stand the "special" treatment I get from a lot of others. As she said this she cheerfully bit into some of her food. Her last statement was said just as cheerfully. She wasn't one to mope after all. Though she was upset to some degree, she would get over it. Still, Kynria seemed like someone she could like, if only because she wouldn't give her special treatment out of pity.

Kynria kept her eyes on her foot most of the time. She'd glance over every now and then, watching the girl as she made herself comfortable and brought out her lunch. Kynria took another bite of her food, chewed it, and then replied to the girl next to her. "I see..." she said softly, "Explain why people would treat you as if you are disabled? You seem normal. Is there something that I should be worried about?" Kynria did not mean to sound rude. She was a girl that had a hard time making friends. She wanted to be accepted by those around her, but her distant behavior and strange way of treating others sometimes prevented that. She also had a hard time trusting that people would be nice to her. Friends were a rarity for her because most people didn't want to put up with her strange and distant ways of interacting. "You came over to me because you thought I would treat you the same way I treat everyone else...." she practically repeated everything this girl had said, "I supposed that is correct. I do not change my ways just because of the person I am talking to... I guess that might also be why I do not have that many friends..." Kynria stared down at her food as she spoke and then once again brought another bite to her mouth and began to eat. Once she was done, she closed the box and set it off to the side, looking towards the girl. "What is your name?"

Minami continued eating happily. She looked up and Kynria spoke, still chewing her food. Before responding, she finished chewing and swallowed. Talking with your mouth full wasn't something she wanted to do. It was rude and, most of all, kinda disgusting. Well, they treat me like that because I have no power at all. Without the school badge, I wouldn't even be able to see spirits. I have no spirituality at all, and almost everyone around me has it. So they look at me, and think I am disabled or something, since I can't do something almost everyone else can. She took another bite of her food. Her voice had sounded kinda annoyed, because she was annoyed. Just because I can't see spirits doesn't mean I am handicapped. Upon taking a sip of water, she listened to Kynria's next comment. Well I'm glad. It's nice to know someone doesn't look down on me due to my lack of power. As for friends, I always say if someone can't accept you for who you are, then they aren't friends. That is how I look at it.
Minami listened as Kynria asked Minami what her name was. My name is Minami, Minami Shimada. What's yours? She asked as she bit down into her food once more.

Hearing her name, Kynria turned away and laid her head back against the tree behind her. "Kynria is my name. Kynria Orakasia." Kynria smiled softly and took in a deep breath before looking back to the girl that she now knew was called Minami. "It seems that you and I have a few things in common. I highly dislike people who can't accept me for who I am... Like a fool, I long for it though... I have a hard time making friends because I'm not fake, I don't lie, I keep everything straight forward and honest... So many people around here constantly keep up their idiotic pretenses and have to act their way through life... I've learned to see right through most of them... I want to be accepted by others... but not if I have to be fake to do it." Kynria then stood up and raised her arms high above her heads while leaning backwards. A small snapping sound could be heard coming from her lower back. After that, she leaned all the way forward and once again another popping sounds came from her lower back. She then stood up straight and stretched out her neck, dropping her arms back down to her sides. "This is my first year at this school and so far you are the only person that has attempted to talk to me... Thank you for that."

Minami had listened as Kynria's name was revealed to her. She listened as Kynria talked about what they had in common before ultimately thanking her. She thought about what Kynria said and shook her head a bit. "Wanting someone to accept who you are doesn't make you a "fool". We weren't exactly built to sit alone and away from everyone else. The people that do just stay alone all the time, I don't know how they do it. Minami paused as she took the last few bites of her food and stood up too. She raised her arms high over her head, cupping her hands together, as she did a large stretch. She let out a soft sigh as she released her hands and they fell back into a resting position. As much as I don't enjoy being alone, I refuse to befriend people that only do so out of pity, or look down on me. A small smile appeared on Minami's lips. People think I'm weak, they think I am normal, well one day I'm going to show them just what I am capable of. Minami stared up towards the sky. And you know what? If someone doesn't like you for who you are, then screw them. Someday you'll meet people who care enough to actually come up to you. And if anyone says anything bad about you- Minami turned back to Kynria. -just ignore them. Not like their opinion matters. She smiled as she spoke. Minami was almost always in friendly mood, though sometimes the words that came out of her mouth didn't quite fit. Either way, she meant what she said.

"It's not that they treat me badly or say bad things to me..." Kyrnia began to explain as she picked her bag up, "It's usually that if I myself do not feel like they have accepted me, I'll avoid them or drop them as even acquaintances. In the past, I've actually not realized that some people do care about me and think me friends, so I end up dumping them as friends... It is an honest mistake, but it's also a fault. No one ever tells me they care..." Kyrnia sighed and then looked around for a second. She looked up towards the sun and then back to Minami. "We've got about seven minutes before classes continue. You don't have to hang around me if you don't want to." she told Minami and then just began walking off towards the building in front of her. She pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket and looked at it. It was her class schedule. After finding out her next class, she put it back in her pocket and began walking around, trying to memorize the buildings layout and find her classes at the same time. A small smile formed on her face, happy about the fact that she might have met someone who one day she might consider a friend. Of course, she also didn't know whether the girl even would remember her name or not. A quick glance back, she looked to see if the girl was walking her way too.

Minami grabbed her things as well, seeing as she had finished her lunch as well. She listened to Kynria as she gathered her things together. Just be a bit more careful. You can'r read minds, at least I don't think you can. So naturally you won't just magically know. If you are ever unsure what someone thinks of you, just wait and see what happens. As Kynria made her final statement she began to walk towards the school. Minami laughed and ran ahead to catch up with her. Why wouldn't I want to hang around you? You are the first person I've had an actual conversation with in a long time. She walked along with Kynria to the school building. They would go their separate ways soon enough. Minami was a second year, and Kynria a first year. Their classes wouldn't be in the same location, seeing as they would have different classes. Either way, Minami walked with Kynria up until the point in which their paths would diverge. Minami couldn't tell for sure, but Kynria seemed like she might be Minami's first real friend in a long time. It would certainly be nice, sitting alone all the time wasn't exactly Minami's definition of a good time.
