What Is This Shit?! [Closed]

Kimiko was unsure what was actually going on with her Captain. She had heard about him doing some strange things lately. She had not seen him since she woke up from recovering. Their last mission was pretty bad. Well, it wasn't their mission, but her mission. Captain Crow had made a mistake and sent her after a hollow that there was no way she could defeat on her own. She felt slightly flattered because he himself actually came to save her. If he hadn't, she'd be dead now. Of course, he had almost killed her himself with his damn Zanpakutō! If she had known his was lightning based, she would never have activated her shikai there. Her injuries had been great, so he took her to his home. She wanted to leave, he didn't want to let her, so he knocked her out and brought her back here himself.... That is what angered her right now. She wanted nothing more than to kick his ass for that. "Such a strange man..." she mumbled under her breath as she walked towards his office, wondering if he was there or not.

Kimiko knocked, but no one replied. Sighing, she opened the door and stepped inside. "Of course..." she sighed as she looked around. The desk was piled with paperwork, everything was dusty, and there were multiple envelopes scattered around everywhere. "Well.. Time to get to work!" she said with a smile, seeming almost happy about it. She began piling up the paper work first. Once that was done, she stacked the envelopes up and pushed them to the side, knowing that she could not open them. The paperwork, on the other hand, she could go through, so she began to read through them, stamping and signing what she was allowed to, while filing whatever else was there. "What the hell is all of this shit!? I'm out for a week and everything gets fucked up! I can't believe this... ARG!" she thought to herself as she continued organizing everything.

Jaeden was escorted back and well this time he was in bad shape, bandages around his ears were crimson as he had somewhat faded eyes, returning home. Law had treated most his injuries, but Jaeden told him to fix his ears enough they would heal, not enough for hearing to return. Because, he was aware that she had gotten out by now and he was about ready to check in to a hospital himself. Jaeden's body felt terrible right now, he wondered sometimes what if he couldn't handle the fact of being a Captain, he'd lost so perhaps Kaminari was greater and deserved this role. Jaeden was fairly respected by most, but it didn't matter much Law had slammed him in the head for even saying it.

Stumbling in towards his office, a couple gasps a a girl had screamed rather loudly, Jaeden rested on the wall he was so sore. Thankfully what ever the girl was doing he couldn't hear that loud scream. Oh well time to push on, a couple of them came forward and helped him move. Jaeden seemed a bit off his rocker at the moment, but hey he'd just caused himself some severe damages. Not to mention an attempt at Seppeku that Law had prevented. Thankfully for Jaeden, Law told him honor was dead and to move on.

Jaeden's crimson eyes weren't entirely sure about it as he finally arrived at his office.

Kimiko was reading through another piece of paperwork that should have been done a few days ago and was almost done. She stamped and then signed it, setting it in a large stack of what was now finished documents. She went to lean back in her chair to take a break, but the sudden shriek of a girl in her squad stopped her. Without any hesitation at all, she jumped up from Captain Crow's chair and ran towards the door. She opened it, stepped out, turned the corner, and froze. Her eyes widened in horror. Her pupils decreased in size as her eyes began to tremble within her skull. Blood was seeping through the bandages that surrounded Captain Crow's ears. He was horribly beaten up and injured. Kimiko's mouth opened slightly as if she was going to say something, but it seemed her voice was stuck. She was in complete shock at what she was looking at. She could only stare until finally she snapped out of it. She closed her mouth and stared at him. She. Was. Pissed.

"... Son of a bitch..." she mumbled under her breath, not knowing that her Captain was currently deafened by an injury in battle. She stepped forward and went to hold onto him, helping him stand and walking him towards his room. "There is no way you're going to your office. I am taking you to your room where you will rest." she told him, still not knowing about him currently being deaf. Although the words "I am" and "you will" would give anyone the idea that she was NOT playing around and that they better do as they say. The look she currently had on her face was dark, looking almost evil. She could not believe he had gotten himself into such trouble. His injuries were bad and he refused to go to Squad Four instead of here. She would soon call for someone to come help him, but not until she 'punished' him. With that, she lead him down the hall and to where his bedroom was.

Jaeden was well cut off my Kimiko, he'd been healed by Lw wasn't that enough, well pry not. He watched her lips, he felt her come and help him. She was guiding him to his room, he supposed she was gonna make him rest for a bit and punish him. After what he'd done, Jaeden whispered something to her, only between her and him. He was surely going to pay for saying it, but he wasn't willing to wait. Jaeden was a bit delirious and among other things he was attempting to keep moving with the female carefully.

"I am sorry...Kimiko..about the paper work..and the mission..I couldn't let you get hurt because of my inability as your Captain three times.."

He was still so sorry for all his mistakes, Jaeden wasn't sure of why he felt so miserable at the moment. It was as though things hadn't gone right, he'd given all he had and Kaminari had now become a goal. Her and Law both passed him, why couldn't he reach them. Was Jaeden weak, he followed Kimiko as she guided him, his crimson eyes glancing down at his hand. He just wasn't sure of what was what right now. He'd never fallen so short in his life, Kaminari must of been training for ages as Law had. Why was he so far behind, he needed to catch up no matter what. "Seiryu, if it kills my I will catch her and him, I will." Jaeden said mentally, he didn't have the strength right now to do much else.

Kimiko's eyes narrowed as he spoke. She continued guiding him to his room. Once they got there, she lead him inside and moved him over to his bed. "Oops..." she said emotionlessly as she purposely pushed him forward and put her foot in front of his feet to trip him. He would fall right onto the bed of course, so it shouldn't hurt that much. His injuries would be the only reason it would. She stared down at him, her hands being moved to her hips. She shook her head as if she were disappointed in him and then sighed. "Stop being such an idiot!" she suddenly commanded at him, "Your inability as my Captain!? What the fuck is this shit!? Stop spouting nonsense! I don't feel like hearing it!" She stepped closer to him, pushing him onto his back and then covering him up. She was still taking care of him, but wasn't doing it nicely.

"Inability as my Captain..." she repeated with a scoff, "Stupid... Enough of this talk, got it!? People make mistakes... AND there will ALWAYS be someone out there that is stronger than you are! I say that because OBVIOUSLY you got your ass kicked!" She took in a deep breath and sighed. "All these injuries... Did they come from that girl you went to fight?" she asked him, knowing that he would be confused on how she knew about it, so she explained further, "Lieutenant Aikotsuki from Squad Four... It's because of her and her friends that I am still alive... She is the one that took care of me while I was in there. Apparently being hit by lightning is one of the worst things that can happen to someone, so she kept me there for a while.... When I left, I asked her how come you hadn't come to see me. She told me about some girl challenging you to a duel. Can't remember the name... but she did say that it was about some sort of forgiveness..." Kimiko sat down on the side of his bed and looked to him, her emotions softening a bit. "Tell me what happened?"

Jaeden fell on the bed, he just didn't seem to care. Kimiko was trying to give him rough love, or tough love as it was called. Strange way but she had pulled him out enough, that his eyes shut now as he relaxed. Jaeden still wasn't satisfied with the results of this and well she had earned an explanation about this. She was right, he was just a singular being and no matter how powerful they were. They weren't going to be perfect in anything at all, but he did notice his weakness and where it was. Jaeden wasn't through yet, not by the least he would over come this weakness and show them all he was stronger. He'd once had the hunger and could feel it coming back, his warriors spirit was hungry.

"I was visiting you, I had taken on the extra work while you were wounded and had been injured so I was checking in on you. Hadn't planned to stay, though I had a pretty large injury in my chest..I hate doctors..But..Kaminari and I, well I failed her in my leadership I guess..I was told by the upper officers at the time as you know, if Kaminari or Shinji had found out they die...That they would put out the Stealth Force, it wasn't something I wanted to risk..But I also underestimated her as a warrior, which I paid for..When facing her, I learned her voice was able to cause damages to my body..so..I cut the insides of my ears..I am still a bit dazed..She promised forgiveness..but now..it's me who cannot forgive this weakness I see...I know it's foolish for me to want to be perfect, but I want the strength to protect you all..my honor and strength serve no other purpose... "

Jaeden became silent, swallowing because he could sense well something was coming from Kimiko now.

Kimiko wasn't exactly sure on how she was going to react to everything he had just told her. She actually did have to sit there and just stare at him for a moment. She needed to collect her thoughts and come to some sort of conclusion. From what she could understand, he had underestimated someone and then when he went to fight her, he lost. This was all highly confusing to her. He was explaining things as if she knew most of this. He had told her nothing before, so she wanted an explanation from beginning to end. Since he was really tired and beat up, she wasn't going to press the matter. She'd rather him rest. Although.... SMACK! A loud sound of hand hitting a face echoed through the room rather loudly. "How... stupid... could you be....?" she said through gritted teeth. It was obvious that she was extremely angry with him. She had smacked him so hard that her own hand was pulsating from the impact. It didn't seem to bug her though. She had to get a point across and since she now knew that he couldn't hear her, pain was the only was she could communicate with him. She raised her hand to hit him again, but then stopped. Once again she was about to hit him and once again she pulled her hand back. She was conflicted.

Kimiko stood up and walked away. Looking back to him she spoke seriously, "Don't you dare move!" she pointed at him. She walked over to the door and called for someone. Once they came, she asked them to go and get an experienced healer from Squad Four. She told them what the main injury was (the injury to his ear) and the person nodded, hurrying off. Kimiko stepped back inside the room and walked over to a wall. She stood there and every now and then glanced over to him. She was highly disappointed in what she heard him say and was still unsure of how to react to it. Of course their ways of thinking were very different from one another, but it still angered her. He had his way and she had his. It just hurt her to see that he would feel so down about losing a single match. And she couldn't even yell at him either. She wasn't thinking straight and for some reason didn't realize that he had some how understood her before. So, she stood there silent, waiting for the arrival of another to heal him. THEN she would yell at him.

Jaeden wasn't quite able to take the blow, it had put him under without any problem. He was still a bit weak, Jaeden's eyes remained shut. Feeling the impact, what was he supposed to do. Things like this were constantly building, what was next for him well he could only pass out now. Things weren't going as planned. Jaeden's eyes opened for a moment, he said a name though this name was his adopted son whom he wished so much for, he'd remembered seeing him. Where was this Captain to begin his training to fight his destiny, Jaeden knew what he had to do. He needed to train and push himself harder than he'd ever done before.

But for now doing as told he simply laid in that bed, not moving. "..Thanks Kimiko." Jaeden said, it was her way of dealing with him that was effective, Jaeden had been in a depression and well it wasn't likely that he would give up any more. Strength, he needed to push his strength to a whole new level. And Kimiko was the one he cared about most, he visited her in the hospital as often as he could. She was really the only one who cared about Jaeden at the moment.

Kimiko had kept herself quiet most of the time. She was waiting anxiously for the member of Squad Four to show up to heal him. She only hoped that they would be on time. A soft sigh left her lips and suddenly she was pulled from her thoughts when hearing Jaeden speak. It was just a soft thank you, but it still worried her. A worried look came on her face and she sat down on the edge of the bed next to him. "Why... Why are you acting so helpless? Why are you acting as if you're weak or something?" Kimiko asked him with a softened tone. She sat there listening to whatever his answer was going to be, but soon a young girl ran into the room from Squad Four. "Oh my... He really took a beating, huh?" the girl said as she hurried over to Captain Crow's side. Setting down a small kit, the girl began her healing Kidō on all the major injuries. Seeing this, Kimiko moved off of the bed to give the girl more room to heal her Captain. She was still worried, so she stayed near, crossing her arms along her chest and waiting for the healing to be done. "Please... Captain, just get better..." she thought to herself as she glanced away from Captain Crow as he was being healed.

"Sometimes I am..just not sure of my strength, but your right..I shouldn't act this way, thank you Kimiko."

Jaeden became silent when the medic arrived, letting his head rest upon the bed softly, letting the girl finish her work on his highly damaged body. Jaeden's fight with Kaminari had some negative results indeed, he was doubting himself and his strength, Kimiko pulled his ass up out of his slump. She didn't even let him question the fact of his strength being false. The girl's sentence about him looking pretty banged up was somewhat funny, he couldn't help but laugh at the remark somewhat inside. A little banged up, well that's funny a guys missing his ears. And looks like utter shit, but he's a little banged up. Well Jaeden wouldn't let Kaminari bother him anymore, he needed to reach Law and his powers. Their was a goal he was grasping for and he would reach it no matter what. He reached a hand over towards Kimiko offering her a soft smile.
