- Appearance Description: Gau has the look of your typical athletic high school student. He stands at about 5'11 and weighs in the neighborhood of 175lbs. As stated he is an athlete, particularly he enjoys free-running and more extreme sports (cycling, skateboarding, etc), thus his build is pretty good for a young man his age. His hair is jet black and and very unkempt on his head as if he always has bed hair. His teeth are white and his canine teeth are a little more pronounced giving him a more feral look about his appearance. His eye color is a slight light brown and he has a single cut on his right eyebrow, something he did himself since he felt it makes him feel more cool.

His attire is pretty typical for a high school student as well. He wears t-shirts that will always have only a single symbol in the front, the symbols varies from different days. Over the t shirt he wears any type of long sleeve jacket whether it be a one you buy from a store or the one he has representing his school (gotta have school spirit). He prefers jeans over any other type of pants whether they be blue or black. As far as shoes go, he prefers the non-name brand shoes that have no design on them. This is because he likes to draw on his shoes putting his own ideas for design rather than buying shows already with them.

Charismatic
Gau is a man that if gifted with knowing how to say just the right things to get what he wants. This is especially applies to when he speaks to the opposite gender, as he is quite the smooth talker. Being that sweeping woman off their feet is one of his favorite past times he may sometimes even lose focus of his true goals, though these occurrences are far and few between. He is often times the life of any party or celebration he goes to and can get along with just about anyone he meets. When it comes to business, he is naturally talented at working his plans into the heads of people, by any means to make sure he gets what he wants. One might believe that Bastian just enjoys enjoys hearing himself talk though this might not be far from truth he never spouts random nonsense unless he is simply teasing someone. He is a man who wants alot and in his mind it takes a certain "gift of gab" to get anywhere in life.

Inquisitive
Gau has a thirst for knowledge that is matched only by his lust for money,fame, and woman. He is a firm believer in the whole "a mind is a terrible thing to waste" concept. So he will usually study thoroughly about certain things that may hold value in the future. This could be ranging from world geography or legends or rumors that may surround certain areas. Because he is always looking to make more money he feels such knowledge is necessary so that he may actually have a general idea of what he is looking for. This may also come into play, which go hand and hand with his charismatic ways, when he needs to pump people for information. Because of his natural way with words he can easily get information from people, even if it means putting together key parts of what a person is saying just to get an understanding. This in mind he will rarely jump into any altercation if he can, he would rather pick the brains of people to determine if he should even bother fighting them. Unless they disrespect him.

Narcissist and Natural Duck
Gau's number one fan is Gau. The man loves himself almost as much as he loves making more money. He believes himself to be a visionary unlike other people these days. He already feels he is the epitome of the greatness and isn't shy in the least to admit it. To him the world is his stage and he plays the role of the leading man. Which may lead many to believe he might be a fame junkie, and though this may not be far from true his desire for more power and money out weigh his desire for fame. Simply put the man's ego is off the charts and it is quite obvious by the way he carries himself that he is extremely confident in all he does. He does somewhat care what others think in this aspect as he feels all should see him as he wants to be seen. As a result he will often make decisions that would never conflict with his "reputation" as he would state, making him an unpredictable man as no one can truly guess what he has going on in his head.

Avarice
Money is always the motivation for Gau to move forward. To him money is power, and this power grants its master the possibility to do anything. This in mind, he is always plotting on how he can acquire more of it as fast as possible. He isn't above double-crossing others to acquire money either and will smile in your face as he does it. Only in the most severe cases, like for example his life being on the line, will he ever abandon money. Though he never openly shows his affection for it as any good thief will know that secrecy is apart of diplomacy as well.

Callous and Ambitious
Bellow Gau's outgoing exterior lies his true nature. He is a man who cares little for others, with possibly his on close family and friends as the only exception. Because he is such a driven individual he will always do whatever he can to see that he gets what he needs. He feels that the best way to kill someone is to take everything from them, though he is cold he wont always resort to killing though he isn't above brutal beatings. Because of the fact he demands respect he is prone to be aggressive if he feels disrespected. And the fact he rarely shows his true intentions, its always hard to tell if he is angered though people who are around him long enough might notice when he is angered. His signs usually revolve around scratching his head, giving a wide grin, or cracks his neck.

- Evolution Powers:
Phoenix Flame ~ As the name suggest, this powers revolves around the manipulation of flame, not only in its destructive properties but also the healing properties. The user is able to free-hand manipulate this power, with his body being the source of said flame. The flames are intensity depend on the rank of the user, the highest rank being able to incinerate entire villages and the weakest being able to cause third degree burns on the flesh if direct contact is made. Despite the sheer destructive force of the flames, this power is also seen as one that can save lives being able to heal even the most greatest wounds on the user or even others. When being used for healing, the flames will not feel hot at all and instead will feel warm and comforting. At its strongest power can actually heal an entire village or at its lowest heal small cuts, burns, or poisons. The powers for both destruction and healing will always depend on the tier and the ability itself being used.

• 6th Tier - The flames are strong enough to easily burn through wood in seconds, and can heal small cuts.
  
• 5th Tier - The flames are strong enough to burn even brick turning it to ash, and can heal moderate cuts and can slow down the progression of poison in the body (4 times per thread).
  
• 4th Tier - The flames are strong enough to melt metal (not gold) and have more force behind their attacks meaning flames have a chance to even push enemies away if hit with certain attacks. The healing is able to heal bigger gashes on the users body, they can also heal moderate cuts on others that are hit with the healing flames (3 times per thread).* Poisons/toxins in the body are able to be burned away at this stage as well.
  
• 3th Tier - The flames are intense enough to completely turn even metal ash after two hits. The healing nature of the flame is still able to heal gashes just more frequently than the previous tier (5 times per thread).*
  
• 2nd Tier - The flames melt metal, even gold, on contact unless these items are at least 2 tiers below this one. Meaning that weaker tiered weapons lower than 4 have a chance to be melted if hit by the flames. The healing flames are able to heal limbs at this stage and can remove not only poisons but diseases from Gau's, or anyone else hit with the flames, body (2 times per thread).**
  
• 1th Tier - These flames are strong enough to burn through higher tiered weapons or items (3 tier or lower). Also those at the 6th tier, unless properly guarded, have a chance of being turned to ash if hit with an attack from this tier. The healing is able to restore limbs more frequently than the previous tier (3 times per thread).**
  
• 0 Tier - The highest level of power. These flames are able to easily turn any item or person (5th tier or lower) to ash if not properly defended. The flames are also able to heal wounds that would normally kill regardless of medical treatment (restoring lost blood or organs and such). This can only be done once every thread.

*These flames do not add into eachother when it comes to seeing how many times they can heal per thread. Meaning if they are at that tier they can only be used that many times. Tier 4 being limited to one and tier 3 limited 5. Think of it as a simple upgrade.

Soul State Evolution

- Soul State Evolution Stage 1 Appearance: The temperature will increase when the power is being used for destruction. Small wisps of flame will appear and vanish around the body as if it were an aura. When speaking even small wisps of flame would escape from Gau's mouth as well. When being used for healing, there will be no signs on the body but the flames will appear light blue.

- Soul State Evolution Stage 1 Abilities: At this stage Gau is able to free-hand manipulate flames that he creates. The damage from the flames is enough to melt metal and to a person with spiritual powers cause them to receive third degree burns wherever they are hit. The healing nature is able to fix minor and moderate cuts and bruises on a person's body. They also can burn away poisons/toxins in the body.

- Soul State Evolution Stage 2 Appearance: The flames will begin to take a vague shape of wings on his back. His eyes will appear reddish brown as if his eyes were on fire as well. His hair will stand up as if spiked as well and tattoo markings face will appear as well. The flames will go from red and orange to light blue when Gau is using the healing nature of the flames.

- Soul State Evolution Stage 2 Abilities: The flames are much more intense to the point that if people are around that have very low (borderline average human) spiritual power, they will have to get away least the flames cause small burns on their skin. At this stage the flames can be used to take complicated shapes (flaming swords, spears, shield, ect) and even become solid enough to collide with physical things. At this stage flight is also possible due to the large flaming wings. The healing power is enough to restore arms and legs of those that he casts his flames upon and himself as well (limited to 2 times per thread.)

Chi Powers

Powers

- Chi Powers: Enhancement

- Awakened Appearance: No physical changes.
- Awakened Powers: This power is tasked with a simple purpose and that is to enhance the powers of Gau's physical flame attacks, making them hit harder and do more damage (Fire punches, kicks, ect.) The flames themselves would already cause severe burns upon being attack, but with the chi increase the punch, kick, or whatever else he can attack with would also be much more damaging.

- Fully Awakened Appearance: Only his eyes will begin to glow as if there were moving flames within them.

- Fully Awakened Powers: The chi makes the flames 2 times more intense they they would already be depending on the tier. Ultimate it doubles the range and damage of any flame based attack that could be made by Gau.

Background History

- Background:

Born to what would be considered by most to be your typical family, Gau Ban was the youngest child of three. His mother was a stay at home mom and his father was a full time worker at some boring construction company. His two older siblings, twin sisters, were popularity junkies and naturally because they were so popular, Gau was pretty much a known kid. Growing was not bad either for the young man, since both his parents made sure he had everything he would need to be successful in life. He was allowed to participate in any clubs or teams he chose and funding for these ideas was never a major issue. In short he was a young man who pretty much had all he could want coming from being popular with friends and teachers, to always having the latest gear.

It would be around middle school when he learned that he was a little more special than the other kids in his class. He was always one to heal quickly from cuts and could feel most relaxed on the most hottest of days. It wasn't until he was playing with some friends did his power truly manifest itself when he burned down a neighbors garage from a burst a flames from his hands. However, rather the see that is a negative light, the young man decided to let this play out to his advantage. He had seen cartoons on tv where people had powers and used them to save the day from evil people. He figured why settle for being just the good guy when he could simply use his powers to get him whatever he couldn't get from his parents. Thus began his new life of delinquency.

From then on he was seen as more of a bad boy. He had no issues with beating up whoever he wanted, though killing was never an option. he liked the idea that he could beat who he wanted and let them live with the fact he had that to hold over them for life. This continued all the way until he was in high school when he decided that he would calm himself a bit more. Though it was still remembered that he was a bit of a bully in his past, it more or less was overlooked as childish antics. Currently he is a senior in high school and living on his own, not far from his mother and father's house.

Roleplay Sample

- Roleplay Sample: The sound of music playing would cause the sleeping shinobi to waken. Not fully awake, but partially aware; Shishimaru nodded along with the song that was playing. As if the music itself gave him life, Shishimaru sat up while still in the bed and stretched while he began singing along through his yawning. He looked over to his dresser and laid eyes on what he was looking for. He grabbed a large rolled joint, easily comparable to a small cigar. He sparked it up and inhaled deep as the smell of marijuana filled the room. He swung his feet over the side of the bed as he exhaled several smoke "O"'s in the air. "Hey, hey, hey," he finally said still singing along with the song, "Smoke weed everyday."

He chuckled to himself as he walked over to his closet and took out his tradition attire. He knew he was meeting with the Mizukage, and he could already guess what the reason was. Shishimaru glanced over at his weapons on the wall. On the right was his weapon of choice, the katana he that was called "Death's Hand" though Shishimaru called it Thanatos. The weapon looked so normal on the wall, like the type of katana one might find at a typical shop. A useful illusion. After he cleaned himself he put on his shinobi uniform. He wore an all red shinobi suit with a black cloth belt that tied around. Over that he wore his long black vest that held the crest of his clan on the back. His headband dangled from his belt along with Thanatos hanging on the right side of the belt. He tied back his black hair so that it would get in his way while he ran to the Mizukage's dwellings. He did a final check and made sure he had all his equipment, and left out his home.

Properly elevated from the weed, dressed to impress, and in good spirits; Shishimaru was feeling great, to say the least. He moved from rooftop to rooftop to avoid bumping into people as he made his way. He was eager to know just want was on the Mizukage's mind anyway. He would have to pump the Mizukage for information it seemed, especially if this meeting was more than just an introduction ceremony. It didn't take long for Shishimaru to arrive at his destination, he had actually gotten here before his joint was finished. When he entered the conference room he let out a cloud of smoke as he gave the Mizukage a respectful bow. "Lord Mizukage, Mistress Ai," he said as a greeting to the two inside, "I appear to be early or very late." He took another hit of his joint before finding himself a seat next to his wife. The seat he sat in had the name "Shibuki" on the top of it, a name he was familiar with since he made it a point to learn about all the Mist Treasures. Information was his weapon after all, such things always came in handy anyway. Since he figured he would be waiting, Shishimaru kicked his feet up and glanced to both his wife then the Mizukage, "Any one of you care to partake," he asked offering a hit of his joint. He fine whether they did or didn't anyway, he was simply being courteous.
