As the dawn of the morning sun reflected down upon the far eastern country that was Japan, the journey for one man's sanity would begin. Out far, far away from any type of civilization there was a strange, white haired male travelling down an ancient and broken down highway by foot. Not seeming to care where he was walking, he effortlessly manervured through the many different buckles in the concrete streets, long abandoned cars that littered the road, down power lines that have since been drained of any energy and various ruins of buildings that once stood ever so valiantly; only to be covered in the barren wasteland's sand. The setting would be rather disheartening to most who dared traveled through these dangerous roads, but it was the perfect backdrop for this man. This scenery, this location; it all fit the the inner confines of his internal world that was going through quite the crisis. Letting a soft sigh escape his lips, he would then take a moment to pause his aimlessly wandering in order to take a gaze upwards towards the rising sun.
And so, at this time, if one had happened to be nearby in the area; it would be the perfect moment in order to get a better sense of what this man had looked like. Thus, as the wind would blow ever-so gently throughout the barren decays of this field's never ending ruins, this man's shoulder length hair would follow along the calming breeze. With the dawning of the sun now upon the land, his dark red eyes would mirror the burning star of eternal hope that was Earth's Sun. While the sun's rays beamed down upon the grounds, his exorbitantly light skin would immerse itself with it's luminous glow. And lastly, with his senses steadily coming back, the man would look to find that his own clothing seemed foreign to him at this point. From the pallid looking shoes on his own feet, to the milky colored pants warped tightly around his legs and all the way to his snow-like jacket with a dulled, silvered fur hood on the back.
Now, at a standstill, he was able to appreciate the beauty of isolation. For far too long this man has kept himself confined within the endless concrete jungle that is known as Karakura Central. There was a great need to get away from the pressures of his every day life, the urge to seek out an escape to regather the scrambled and jumbled static noise that was his own mind and seek out the ever elusive puzzle that was harmony. It all made so much sense as to why he needed to get away, yet this was still not enough to satisfy his continual inner thirst for a sound state of mind. So, he simply ventured deeper into the hazy distance. Hours upon hours of walking up until this point; many thoughts and memories dancing within his mind. The high's, the low's, the joy's, the sorrows, the mistakes, the regrets, the pain; for a man over four hundred years old, there was plenty to think back on in this time of exile. Moreover, with the concrete fact that his life would never end, least' someone be able to kill this man, he would go on to accumulate, gather and obtain new experiences, new thoughts, new horrors, new power and new misery for all of time until the eventual heat death of this universe comes about; should the theory of entropy hold true.
Thus, baring these thoughts deeply in mind, he'd go on to keep walking throughout this horrid wasteland until he found the answer needed to rid the horrid plague that has since left his mind tainted. "I'm unsure of where to turn to at this point. My mind is in a state of disrepair, my patience wearing thin with each passing moment that I exist, the chaos growing stronger in and around me; while my will..." Taking a brief pause in his aimless conversation with himself, he bit his lip to come to grips with a thought that has been steadily becoming more and more true as time pressed on. "...is getting weaker. I'll hold out, there isn't any misconceptions about that, but the pain is amplifying; morphing itself into a tangible being that may bring about my own destruction." Shaking his head a bit, the man would try to suppress internal mental imagery of a creature whom appeared to be heavily similar to himself; but had a much more thirsting appetite for power, a will to give into the instability that has long weighed down on his mind for many centuries and a desire to let go of everything; simply becoming an unstoppable force that is unable to feel such conflicting emotions.
"Yet, it doesn't matter. The Yuudeshi Project deems myself to wield a power akin to that of a god? I'll figure out a way, I always do. It's why the weight of this world rest upon my very shoulders. The hopes, dreams and faith others have invested in me have bestowed the task of saving this planet from those whom wish to see it's destruction." Pausing for a minute, Shadin would stop once more as he stared yet again into the hazy skies above me. "Even if it means destroying my mind, body and soul; this unshakable will of the people will ensure that this duty is carried out." Taking a soft sigh, he'd continue walking aimlessly while beginning to make a personal speech to himself; "So, no matter what happens on this broken road, I will never lose sight of what is at the end of it. No matter the amount of blood shed by my hands, no matter the amount of lives destroyed through my will, no matter how much destruction is caused by my existence, no matter how much resources it takes to reach this goal, no matter what type of inner turmoil torments my heart, mind and body, no matter how many people oppose me and my ways, no matter the threat of true death that always looms in the corner from my enemies; waiting to take my immorality; I will keep crawling, walking, running and sprinting down this pathway toward obtaining an absolute power to grant me the answers to erase all doubt that plague my mind, to purge this forsaken world in a true state of peace and reverse the damage done to my world through so many years of senseless war."
Taking a look upwards at the sun one last time, he'd frown a bit before saying this final line; "I am Shadin Yuudeshi: The Beast of Karkaura and The Man who possesses The Mind Of God. I will be the one to unlock this world's secrets, the one to turn back the pendulum on it's forsaken fate and obtain the status of a Absolute Being....no matter the cost." And with that, he'd close his eyes and wander further down this endless path; not knowing where he was going, only being propelled by his desire to finish what Project Yuudeshi had started so many years ago.

Early mornings were the best. As the eastern sun slowly rose into the air, cutting over the edges of the buildings and bathing this city in its new light, a man with a long white laboratory-styled coat would raise a hand into the air before him, holding a strange artefact of plastic. A cool, fresh breeze blew past his body and let the coat fly into the air as he took a long swig of the refreshing beverage that he held. It was amazing, at least to him. In this day and age, they still made Dr. Pepper. His thoughts went to such a relic, and the history that it had gone through, though a story like that was not for a tale such as this. A soft smile crossed over his lips, the man finishing up the last of the sacred and syrup-y drink, before looking calmly at the bottle in his right hand. Several rays of light refracted through the small orbs of liquid that remained upon the inside of the drink, giving it a strange quality that he found utterly fascinating.
However, as with everything in this world, it would only stay relevant for approximately ten seconds, the moment something new took his fancy. Yes, something completely and totally unusual to this being, who was used to the total solitude of his thoughts. As much as this place was a part of Japan itself, it was also separate from such a world by a strange barrier. Okabe thought of the term barrier differently to most, of course. If one were to normally consider the case of the 'barrier', they would think of a physical object. However, Okabe thought of a 'barrier' as a mental stop. The world that was Karakura Central, and this totally unusual and barren world. They were both two completely different places, separated by the mental stigma of understanding and danger. Stepping towards the edge of the building, the target of Okabe's thoughts would walk directly past his line of sight, stepping over abandoned vehicles and power lines as if they were simply obstacles on this long and dead road. Strange, though, that it would be that man, of all possible people, to see in such a place.
Without even considering it, Okabe's thoughts were taken over by a sudden and shrill whistling sound, his coat fluttering around his body as he fell downwards, through the rough air and towards the cracked and fragmented ground below. He was not on a particularly tall building, but most people would land with at least one or two broken limbs--Okabe simply glided to a stop, slowing his body down and landing on the cement with a clattering of his black shoes. His hands slipped into his pockets, and he would begin to walk forwards in the shadow of the building itself, Okabe Rintarou-Rex unable to see the sun that finally brought itself up into the height of the sky. Shadin Yuudeshi. Strange, to see that man outside of Karakura Central. Then again, as someone who rarely entered Karakura Central himself, would it not be strange to see him in the first place?
No, Shadin Yuudeshi was something of an old friend, though not through true knowledge. Instead, Okabe had seen alternate realities. Pasts, where Shadin had lost. Or where a certain decision had been made differently. He could only guess at times how guilty that man could feel about certain decisions that had been made; hell, what if Shadin had simply gotten a different drink in the morning? Okabe knew as much as, if not more than anyone that even the smallest decisions could, at times, make the biggest difference. Smiling softly to nobody in particular (or was he smiling at the other thoughts of his wife that plagued his mind?) he would step up and over the wreck of a truck, wheels hanging downwards and rats eating away at the last little pieces of the fabric at the sides. His feet made contact with the highway, and he looked to his left and quietly watched the approaching male.
"So, no matter what happens on this broken road, I will never lose sight of what is at the end of it." Hm? Turning his body to face the man in order to improve his hearing, he felt a wind blow past once more, each small gust hiding some of the words that came out of the Beast's mouth. However, there was one statement that seemed to be repeated over and over again; or at least two words. 'No matter.' No matter what the cost, the ends would justify the means? No matter what the damage, there would be happiness and smiles about the world in the end? Admirable, though the years passed Okabe by like days, and he thought back to all the other times when people had made such naive pledges. "However, that does not mean that he couldn't make it true..." Chuckling quietly at his own quietly whispered and well-hidden statement, Okabe watched Shadin's face rise to the sky, and listened to his last statement with a knowing smirk across his cold lips.
"I am Shadin Yuudeshi: The Beast of Karkaura and The Man who possesses The Mind Of God. I will be the one to unlock this world's secrets, the one to turn back the pendulum on it's forsaken fate and obtain the status of a Absolute Being....no matter the cost." The smirk dropped, and then turned up again, hiding a quiet chuckle as Okabe stepped forwards on intercept with the Beast's path. "You know, the only being who fits that idea of 'Absolute' would be Daigoro Ito, then again he's been off the radar for a while." A soft laugh in order to break the ice, and then he would begin again. "Oh. I do not know if you know of me, since I doubt that your 'Network' would hold any information on my person. Since I know your name, it's only fair.
Okabe Rintarou-Rex." His smile, though rather knowing, was kind and calm, as if he expected nothing bad to come from this man knowing his name. Honestly, it was almost time for him to make himself known to the world anyway. Almost.

The Man Once Known As Rapsutin
____________________________________________________
This world is a strange place.
The man thought to himself, his steps working their way among the desert sands as he kept his head up high, walking perfectly normal even in the heat of the morning. He was dressed in his normal suit and tie; despite how hot it got, he still wore it. It was quite a change, he reflected to himself. Growing up and living in Russia, one knew very well what to expect from the cold. However, here it was a different story. He blinked as he realized that the path he was following back to his Master's place of residence had sloped upwards. There was no other place for him to go, and he knew this was the path he was to follow, so his broad steps in his pricy looking black shoes went onto the great route whose name had long since been lost to the world.
As he walked along, he kept his gaze straight, his hands moving fluidly opposite of his feet, as he kept moving forwards. This place... once was bustling. But it's all gone now... all lost to the age of the world. Sakibo thought to himself as he looked around at the destruction all over the area he was in. There was no start, no stop to the abandonness; the lack of anything to help. What could have caused this? Why did it happen? Who is left that still remembers it? The man wondered as he continued his steps, moving along once more, the wind attempting to grab at his black clothing as a bead of sweat dropped down from his chin length black hair, hitting the black concrete as his foot finished stepping on the spot, keeping his momentum going.
He blinked then, stopping in his tracks along the forgotten road. Destruction... He caught a single spoken word; his hearing being what it was, it was not to hard. His eyes narrowed slightly, remembering the days when he himself had caused mass, widespread destruction; of a different kind, of course. These days he could not "destroy" anything; he could not project energy, rather having it all stored within his body. He looked towards where the noise came from, directly in front of him, although he could not see the voices owner. He kept moving forwards, looking to either side of himself as his ears now focused on the noise, feeling something strange. After all, he was a demon; a demon Iramasha, yes, but still not technically anything good. He merely served... or rather, served until those he served no longer needed his services. As it was, he had a Master, but his masters had not given him specific orders about returning, so Sakibo wondered if perhaps he should take a small side trip, as the rest of the voice came into his hearing.
"no matter the threat of true death that always looms in the corner from my enemies; waiting to take my immorality; I will keep crawling, walking, running and sprinting down this pathway toward obtaining an absolute power to grant me the answers to erase all doubt that plague my mind, to purge this forsaken world in a true state of peace and reverse the damage done to my world through so many years of senseless war."
Sakibo's footsteps... stopped. He merely blinked, his eyelids becoming mostly closed as he looked down at the ground. ....Power.... He thought to himself, his teeth gnashing together in his own mouth before he blinked, calming himself down and continuing his march forwards, hearing another voice then.
This voice was... different. Once again, Sakibo stopped. Here was another man, his tone calm and collected; Sakibo wondered about it. For someone that had never met the first voice, he seemed to almost understand the man better than he let on. Sakibo continued walking once more, when at last the two of them came into sight. He reached into the right side of his cloak, having decided at last to trade acquaintances. He walked up from Shadin's other side, knowing the man's name... and from his own words what he was.
"Sakibo R. Koshka, formerly known as Rasputin, now as merely a server of those who desire it. You two gentlemen look like you need a drink... would you mind terribly if I joined you for a few moments?" The butler-looking midaged man asked, plaininly in view of them both. HOwever, he did not give off... any spirit energy, whatsoever. Even though he said he had been Rasputin, who had publicly died, here he was standing before them as a handsome young man, who gave off no energy on his outside. In his right hand he held a small dish with two glasses of champagne, which he held out to the two men.
"I once was a healer... now I'm just a body used by others. Please, humor me and simply take a drink." His voice spoke. He was being completely honest; it was just normal champagne, without anything else added whatsoever added in. Sakibo wondered if the mind of god would be able to know that just by looking at the dish; he figured it was most likely possible, but he was not entirely certain. If they took the drinks, he would merely hold the dish back to its resting place under his cloak, whose coattails were now blowing in the wind behind him. He blinked at them both, knowing something was most likely going to happen... and also knowing he had just became a witness to it.

">Kakeru from the Sugiura lands had to meet another legend that came before him, For some reason he didn't know why he was even doing this, but that didin't matter he would just play it by ear and so he'd begin to move out from the Sugiura lands into the gate that would take him outside of the world he knew and into a new one where there was chaos and shit going on. He wasn't one to expect too much, but rest assured this meeting of people would be even savory for most, but it had to happen because it was calling of sorts. He was going to be the aloof one of the bunch not even reacting to the situation until it's almost too late. Blood soaked thoughts could only last for a while in a person before it brings on madness and a lack of understanding of a situation. "This will be interesting I better play it quiet and low key in this matter as it could get dangerous quickly. I'll have to keep this quiet for now. Well I'm here." Upon his arrival however he'd look almost disinterested in the situation at hand, and he was late majorly late only catching that this guy had the mind of a god. He was going to laugh because he found it funny, but he'd down play his humor by looking completely neutral in terms of reaction as he began to think of what to say to that comment there was too many interesting connotations he could make from it, but he wouldn't. He'd just be in the corner in a sense just standing there and watching the details unfold. He had nothing really to say so why talk at all when you know that if you do it'll draw unneeded attention. Until he was addressed he remain silent and looking aloof as if he was just a wandering person lost in the situation at hand. If that was the real case then they could of just gone lolnope and make him leave. His plans began to set up in person as he looked around seeing the cast unfold into this interesting state. We had what a false god, a false hero, a false person and two others who've seemed to be in their own ways, and yet? This was the cast that would change a generation or destroy it could seem from how this meeting would be starting out. He just had one problem... who would change the tides, them or those who came to oppress? That would be the signal of the change for what was probably to come. What were these changes to come? No one could predict that future that well, but it was sure to shake the world from what it knew for sure it was just a feeling. His focus on the situation was almost terrifying as if you were looking at a master observer of sorts, and yet no one would know unless they could pierce his mind, and his soul. That which would be unlikely for now seeing that their focus was on the self-acclaimed "God" Anyway as it would stand for now. They were waiting for the words of this man to see what he had to say and possibly either help or hurt this change. That was the strange thing they were gathered here to be in some capacity to talk for their parts, and that may have been the intent of Shadin to bring so many different people here to have a legitmate talks with them to figure out himself and probably how to possibly balance the world out that was the shocking thing, was that they were gathering here willingly, and that was possibly a testament to the influence of Shadin, and others here today. Today, history would be made front and center, by a few possibly good men. ''Boku-wa Nise no Eiyu'' |

In a convience store a little farther away from where the small gathering was taking place, a young girl who could be mistaken for a doll was impatiently waiting in line to buy her assortment of treats. The small waiflike body of the girl was not only frail as to be delicate, but even a strong gust of wind seemed as though it could carry her body off into the bright sky. Though her small body appeared to be weak, she was in no so fragile that she couldn’t defend herself. Who would attack a little girl in the middle of a store, anyway? She surmised a heartless monster would do so, but judging from the people before her, everyone seemed hospitable and kind; to say nothing of the cashier offering free beverages to the customers. Once the line had shortened, the crimson haired little girl set her delectable goods on the counter. There were bags full of well-cooked nikuman, each filled with tender and meaty pork. Another bag had Japanese snack foods suchas Yan Yan, Daifuku, and Onigiri. The cashier was clearly surprised by how much the girl had bought, but nevertheless found it endearing that such a little thing could pack on so much food. Of course, contrary to his thoughts, the crimson haired child did not intend on eating everything. Placing the required amount of Yen necessary to buy the goods on the counter, the little maiden grabbed each bag and walked outside, hoping to find her guardian… only to find that the man had disappeared somewhere without a trace. “…Huh, for an old man, that guy really doesn’t know the meaning of “Wait until I come back,” hm?” With an exasperated sigh, she placed one of her hands inside the bag, grabbing a pork-bun, biting a sizeable chunk of meat and bread as she walked towards where he would be. From her appearance, which consisted of small white tank-top and black jeans, the petite maiden appeared to be your typical tomboy of a little girl. In truth, she was the goddess of victory, Iori Sugiura, the legendary warrior that died, sacrificing her live in vain for the friends she grew to love. Although many would wonder how she came to be once more, that was a story that’d be withheld until another day. More importantly – just where did that old geezer go off to?! Pouting furiously, Iori used her superhuman senses to pinpoint the location of Okabe—and upon doing so—noticed an ever familiar yet wholly changed spiritual pressure. Strange, she thought. Out of all the terms I’d see him on again; it’s on a sunny day? With a casual shrug, Iori started to dematerialize into pure light, with each particle of spiritual energy disappearing into the wind. In the next instant, a powerful swirl of jade started to form beside Okabe, until it materialized into the form of our little Iori. And lo, there, only a few paces away from her guardian, is the man who she befriended four centuries long ago. His appearance had changed, and his spiritual pressure though hidden, far surpassed his past level of power. However, the happy smile that was always apparent on his pale face was currently nonexistent. To think that the man with the power equating to that of god, could look so downtrodden…Fate truly has a penchant for Irony. Without showing much sadness on her face, she pulled on Okabe’s lab coat and simply stood beside him, staring at the changed man while indulging in her pork-buns…Today was certainly going to be one to place in the story books. Question was, just how would this chapter of the tale go? |

A city of forgotten origins. A land that has seen much but yet nothing : something that stood empty to everything else, and yet contained so much. In such a place, forgotten things lied around, continuing to exist regardless of a person's affinity : that was the choice of such a place, the abandonment of it during wars. That was an understood value to everything, as the girl's long black hair was drifting down the nape of her neck, her fingers touching the rugged floor. Her crimson eyes drunk in the sight of the building she was in, and her body was on high alert : but she was a creature that was weak, and thus escaped notice for the most part. For even she could sense the energies of others, much stronger then her own : she hid in this, her pitiful life but an ember compared to the sparks of those outside. Her fingers touched the metal ring, as she pulled with strength, hearing the sound of stone grinding against stone. A satisfied smile came to her lips, as her steps flowed into the darkness, her eyes adjusting to the simple candle she held. There was nothing ominous or special : but the child knew she had access to something that none would find. Her fingers touched the walls, letting the damp coldness bite into her bones, welcoming it. For her very being was unnatural : she moved quietly, silently, further still. And finally, an ante-chamber came to her, a door of size untold before her. The girl stopped, her eyes of blood staring at this door, the inscriptions familiar : and slowly, her voice rung, twisted in the shaft like area. But it was unmistakeable : her voice was like bells, drifting across the area. The entryway grinding as the passage was opened, the screech of steel and stone bearable only by the thought of what lay hidden. Her steps continued, clicking against the stone, regardless of the feeling crawling up her spine : that feeling of danger. Her gaze roved the edges of a pedestal, an altar with a soft glowing light that inhabited the area. The girl caught the sight of what she came for : a book. With a soft, but dedicated hand, she took the book : and she clung it to her chest. The walls screeched as if in agony, as the girl wheeled on her heel and ran. Her breath was hot and heavy in her lungs, her steps clicking on the ground as if possessed. Her movements were almost enrapturing : for it looked like a ghost, her tender frame small and gentle, as her long silken strands were scattered in a veil, the wind of movement blowing through them. And quickly, determinedly, light shone as she bolted out of the building. Heedless of the several floors in between her and the ground, the girl jumped : and as if reflex, her body twisted, catching the fire escape, and letting herself drop several before the ground. The impacts were jolted in her single arm, as she still clung to the book with one hand. Another breath hissed out of her, as she continued the flight, out into the highway that wasn't far. Her clothing were black, noticeable in the daylight, as her hair was just as midnight in color. But her capturing eyes that looked as if made of blood and her pale ghostly skin were contrasting with these colors. Her steps stopped stone cold, as she noticed a myriad of faces : it was surprising to her, as immediately, she went on guard. Her face was cold as ice : her gaze was dead and lifeless, and her very stance was something as if mechanical. But the girl felt herself constrict, and twist : she could FEEL the strength rolling off these people. Someone like her would normally be unable to withstand such a thing : but by their very presence, she could feel herself getting stronger. As if she was soaking up the tension, the movements, everything. Her second arm draped around the book, her eyes of blood almost lifeless : and yet, there was a cut off quality to the child. She dared not move, as the four foot something girl knew she would not get too far if they were evil. Not that she believed it : the white haired one seemed familiar, in a sort of celebrity kind of way, but that was all. Not hearing a single word spoken, but now in hearing distance, she could feel her heart pounding nervously. To the girl, she understood a primal aspect. There was too many people here. |

"Heh, so it seems even in the middle of nowhere, I cannot find the isolation that my heart seeks. Oh well, if this is what fate has destined for today, I'll simply go with the flow as I always have." Said Shadin aloud to anyone who would happen to be listening; chuckling a bit as he sensed Okabe steadily approaching his location thanks to the enhanced bodily senses that his body had possessed from Oni Chiita's influence. As a matter of fact, with this fascinating attribute he obtained from being a Ziamichi, Shadin was even able to pick up something this eccentric man was muttering to himself near the end of his speech. Thus, choosing to pick up on that note, it was the perfect time to address this man as he began to slowly to open each of his eyes; cracking a slight smirk of delight upon this guy's intrusion. "You'd be surprised what could turn into truth with these hands of mine." Spoke Shadin in a calm tone of voice; turning his head towards this person who had appeared to be amused by the previous speech he gave to himself.
"Daigoro Ito? There is a fairly decent file of that man in my records." Rubbing his chin a bit, he'd then began to call upon the processing power of The Yuudeshi Network to begin sorting through all the different data bases, video footage from Earth and any mentions of this man that had happened to be in the vast cyberworld. Eventually, after a few seconds or so, he'd started to piece the pictures together a bit from his fights with Gilgamesh, reports of him preparing to fight alongside Koichi Iramasha within the Devil Iramasha's borders and from Misaiko herself, Daigoto would be known as the Aegian Knight of the west. Quite an amusing tale to muse over, to say the least. "I may have to meet him myself in person one of these days to poke at his mind. Wouldn't hurt to have anymore powerful allies to protect this world of ours." Chuckling a bit, Shadin would then remember the main focus of this initial conversation and choose to get back on track towards what Okabe referred to as a "absolute" being.
"Others are the king's of their domains, some are the gods of the world and few people are truly sentient beings. While he may the absolute being of bastion, I seek to be the absolute or damn near absolute being of aptitude." Taking a brief pause from his speaking with Okabe, Shadin's senses then alerted him of another target approaching on the horizon. From the energy he was detecting, there no doubt that this guy was a Devil Iramasha as Shadin has had his fair share of run-in's with them. However, between him and the odd man next to Shadin, he figured their odds of victory were rather high. Thus, deciding to play this situation by ear before deciding to go on the offensive; being fairly certain that his acquaintance should be able to feel this Iramasha's power by now. "Regardless of that, even if I do not succeed in that type of wishful thinking, by that time my desire to amass more power will be realized to save this world from it's damned fate. That much I can assure you."
Watching the man go on, he began to take notice of his bodily gestures; beginning to come to the conclusion that he probably didn't really mean any harm and his threat level began to gradually go down in his vision. Besides that, though, Shadin wasn't really interested in going through the network to figure out who this man was. Not out of ego, but he really didn't think, at the moment at least, that such a scan of the Yuudeshi Network was needed. If his thoughts began to shift later on, then he'd figure out something alternative way to piece the together the puzzles of this man's enigma. After all, where there is a will, there is a way. Alas, though, it was all for not for the time being. "Anywho, nice to make your acquaintanceship, Okabe Rex. This should prove to be an interesting meeting between the two us." Glancing behind himself, Shadin would then begin to get a feel for all the other energy signatures he was beginning to detect. From the looks of things, this was going to be a rather large gathering as he was seen chuckling once more.
"I never thought a mere hike in the ruins of a forgotten town would attract this much attention." Now glancing towards the Devil Iramasha butler who had emerged, Shadin raised an eyebrow after the name "Rasputin" rang a bell in his mind. From the records stored in the Yuudeshi Network, if what he said was true, this guy was apparently from sort of holy healer; one who had his raise to power by healing the Queen of Russia's son, falling madly in love with a Russian Queen and obtaining a greater influence on Russia then Czar himself before being "killed" by his enemies; at least from the public records he had obtained when the that name entered his ears. So, with his interest somewhat peaked, Shadin raised his eyebrow a bit and said this; "Rasputin, hm? I surmised you were already killed off years ago. You must have an interesting tale to tell if you were able to make your presence felt in this realm once again."
Once "Sakibo" had gotten to the drinking part while pressing that he stay, all Shadin could do was shake his head. "Mama always told me never to accept random drinks from strangers." Rubbing his nose a bit, he'd then take a glance over towards the distance as he felt a familiar power steadily the approaching the area; as it seemed they would have even more company very soon. Taking a glimpse in the corner of his right eye, he'd then go on to notice yet another mysterious person with blonde hair partaking in the surprise gathering in this forsaken land. Although he seemed to be neutral for the moment, just in case this situation had decided to get hasty with this many super powered beings converging into one place, Shadin was calculating plans to take down any foreign threats that may otherwise turn this place into a war zone. If one were to draw their weapon at this point, Shadin would anticipate it like no other; preparing a swift take down if it should come to it on this sunny day out in the desert.
"In any case, I'm sure you wouldn't come to me without some type of intention going on in that head of yours. So, I'll be sure to humor you, but don't think I don't have my eye on you." Taking a brief pause to smirk a bit, Shadin took humor in the fact that he had visuals all over the place from space should it come down to it. So, while suppressing a bit of laughter, he'd go on to say "...or should I say, eyes." Jumping backwards on the hood of a long rusted out car, he'd take a soft sigh and glance upwards at the sky again as he noticed a flock of birds flying around in a circle; probably waiting for something to drop dead and pick at remains of their flesh. "And I'm not the only one. If you haven't noticed, we have more then a little company in this area, Mr.Rasputin." Twirling his finger around, Shadin pointed in the direction where he detected a feminine presence hiding in some sort of decayed building. "It's alright, we won't kill you provided you aren't trying to spy or kill us!" He shouted aloud; hoping that said woman would ease a bit. "And relax a little, I can hear your heart screaming all the way over here."
Then, Turning his head towards the girl whom just appeared by Okabe's side, Shadin seemed to stare intently towards her as she seemed heavily familiar. "...I know your energy...." These brief words would be enough to invoke the realization in Iori's heart that he knew who she was. Now, as time would go on, he'd appear to look as if he saw a ghost reincarnated. If his guess was correct, from what he sensed of her internal energy, this girl was quite possible Iori Sugiura. A noble woman whom was once one his best friends many centuries ago, before a horrid fight against Kin Iramasha had taken her life away in a vein sacrifice for others. He was quite certain that this woman had been destroyed during that horrid day, yet here she was in the flesh standing in front him as if nothing had occurred during all those many moon's since her death. "...Iori, is that you?" Was all Shadin could say; being quite bewildered at this point that she was even alive, should his hunch be correct.

Okabe Rintarou-Rex
Mood: Calm/Interested
Psyche Level: 0%
Song: Passion
Artist: Mitsumune Shinkichi
Slowly, but surely, it appeared that his presence was recognized--in fact, it seemed that his presence had been noticed long before the age-old man had bothered to make himself known--that was something he would certainly have to attest to the being there; he had good intuitions. However, he was not the only one. A quiet smile turned upwards on his lips as the last of the growing sunlight poured onto his back, reflecting somewhat off of his white coat."Daigoro Ito? There is a fairly decent file of that man in my records. I may have to meet him myself in person one of these days to poke at his mind. Wouldn't hurt to have anymore powerful allies to protect this world of ours." Okabe would return that sentiment with a quiet chuckle. "I wouldn't poke too hard. He has a tendency to bite back at times..." Smirking at his own joke, the male turned away from Shadin for a second in order to look up and over the other side of the highway; over a hill that seemed to both be extremely close, and yet also oh-so-far away. Sighing quietly, he would muse upon life for a second before returning his gaze to the albino. "Others are the king's of their domains, some are the gods of the world and few people are truly sentient beings. While he may the absolute being of bastion, I seek to be the absolute or damn near absolute being of aptitude." Closing his eyes, Okabe had to hide a muffled chuckle. What a trip that'll be, I can tell you that. Turning away from Shadin completely, now, he started to face a direction from which another being was coming.
Oh? So there are going to be further distractions in this day? Geez, and I thought it would've been nice and quiet. This old man was supposedly not a fan of noise. Psh. He just didn't like the incessant noise that the younglings made to prove their dominance over, or the size of their penises to, the women. Slipping his hands into the material that made up his pockets, he would make a quiet noise and wait for the next approaching being. Strange. Sakibo R. Koshka, formerly known as Rasputin, now as merely a server of those who desire it. You two gentlemen look like you need a drink... would you mind terribly if I joined you for a few moments?" Chuckling softly, Okabe's mind immediately went into the past, something that it quite frequently did--whether or not Okabe willed it to. A death that did not allow for much to remain; burning, hanging, drowning, you name it. It was almost disgusting, the way that he had been treated. However, here he was--far better looking than ever before. Closing his eyes, Okabe tried to recount the line's account itself. Nothing. However, as strange as that was, he would not press further. Instead, he would simply smile as another bottle of Dr. Pepper appeared in his now-outstretched right hand. "It's okay. I have the perfect drink for intellectuals, right here." Laughing quietly, opening the bottle and taking a long sip, he returned his gaze to Shadin, quiet eyes piercing with an expression that said 'the drinks are okay'. Of course, Shadin had already made his statement. Oh, well. The drinks were going to go un-had.
Another couple of beings appeared in the back of his mind; he paid them no heed--a Sugiura and a Human. The feeling that came from the Sugiura was icy-cold, though he didn't quite recognize exactly what the feeling pertained. There were no memories of such a feeling; nor was there really anything that he could associate with it. The second being that he felt; that second presence, was something that he couldn't quite explain. In fact, the only way he could explain this feeling, or even put it into the language that he understood, was 'empty'. Blinking to himself, the man could only sigh softly and shake his head. She would come and approach them whenever she was ready--she seemed somewhat meek. However, the appearance of this next presence caused quite a stir. He wouldn't have noticed it, had he not felt the tug on the white lab coat. Looking downwards to his side, he was greeted with a tuft of red. Ah. What was she doing here? Hadn't...oh. "I forgot again, didn't I?" A totally different change of expression this time; it looked more like a worthless father than that of a man who had seen too much. His mouth open, his hand on the back of his neck, he could only sigh and show with as much power as he could that he was sorry. Sighing softly, he went to kneel down and see what he could scavenge out of the bags that she held, when another voice entered his ears.
"...Iori, is that you?" Ah, shit. Sighing softly, the man knelt down anyway, reaching a hand into the bag and producing a pork bun of his own, acting as if he hadn't even heard Shadin's question. The bun was put between lips and a bite taken out of, Okabe letting the meat travel slowly down his throat as he thought over what to do now. He'd forgotten that there had been few people that knew of this. He would take another couple of bites of the food in silence, before, placing the half-eaten bun onto his right knee and reaching a hand up, ruffling Iori's hair with the look in his eyes that only a truly caring father could give. "I forgot that as well, didn't I? I'm such a worthless guardian..." Laughing internally at his own jokes, the man nodded quietly, and reached his face up, planting a soft kiss onto the little girl's forehead. "I guess there's no hiding it. Shall I begin the story?" Grabbing the pork bun on his knee and with the Dr. Pepper in his other hand, Okabe slowly stood up again and laughed softly.
"No point in lying. Not if you've already worked it out, and I'm sure we wouldn't be able to dissuade you in any way. This is... indeed... Iori. I am... her guardian. I have been, for about 400 years... And I'm sure she's better suited to finishing this line of questioning, if she wants to."
"Since I'm sure... that you have... a lot of questions."

Sakibo R. Koshka
__________________________
The Man Once Known As Rapsutin
____________________________________________________
Sakibo merely blinked as yet MORE people began to arrive. ...This man... He thought, focusing on Shadin through his peripheral vision. He has the soul of one with a dragon... One with power that attracts all sorts to him without even attempting. The curious, the hungry, the angry, the lost... all are drawn towards him. He thought as a young man approached them. Sakibo heard him speak, his eyes slightly closing as he let out a small sigh. ”Vy mozhete bytʹ poddelʹnymi geroya, no vy ne znaete , chto vy govorite.” Sakibo said in reply, taking in a breath and letting it out as he blinked at the man. You may be a fake hero, but you do not know of what you speak. He said simply. He wondered about this man; it was kind of obvious that Sakibo himself was not japanesse. He had a clear cut face and wore all european clothes; however, he still knew Japanesse. But he also knew Russian. So it would be interesting to see just how well this man knew his Asian languages. He assumed the other two, especially the mind of god, would understand what he had said; so he had little qualms about them.
He kept his posture completely straight even as a strange field of Jade appeared next to this Okabe Rinatarou-Rex. Sakibo merely blinked, a breath coming out from his nose as he relaxed his posture ever so slightly. This pair... He thought, looking at the man in the labcoat and his little girl who was sweetly nomming on her porkbun, just like a proper little girl. ...Even the little girl is stronger than me. He thought, a small smile coming to his face as he realized that he sensed to everyone like someone who was BARELY a seated member of the gotei; even weaker than the other black haired man present. Not that Sakibo knew that; he himself could not sense energy due to his nature. He blinked, hearing the Mind of God speak once more as his peripheral changed to main vision, looking right at the man. He waited his turn for the man to focus his attention on him, even before he started speaking.
”...A mere hike... Sir Yuudeshi, you will find if you have not yet that... people of power attract others to them. Whether they like it or do not. They simply will. It is a fact of the world; others flock to those with power, either by coincidence or by purpose.” Sakibo said simply, remembering his own time; in all likelihood, Shadin was thinking of his own time as well. ”An interesting tale...? No, I do not in particular have one of those. My soul, turned demonic; but I still had my mind... and chose a route not many demons do. I chose to serve. Each time I got stronger than my master who I was serving; and merely left their presence. One of my masters was a Demon Iramasha; he gave me the gift of a halfway-purification... as well as me ending up with absolutely no power whatsoever. It was a refreshing experience that I did not appreciate at first. But in time, I understood its gifts.”
Sakibo merely bowed to them both as they said they would not like a drink, setting the two glasses on the ground in front of him and returning the platter to its place, continuing to watch everything. ”The only intention I have is to be a witness, as I have done in the past and will do again.” Sakibo stated simply, as he watched Shadin leap back onto a car.
Even as the scene between the two men and girl unfolded, Sakibo merely stood at attention. He wasn't sure what exactly they were talking about, but he could definitely tell the dramatic changes it imposed among the people gathered. Sakibo may not be able to sense energy; but he was quite intellectual. The surprise on the face of the Yuudeshi, the slump of the Rex; and the way they spoke. Something was happening here... Sakibo just wasn't sure of what.

Re: The Missing Equilibrium of Shadin Yuudeshi [Open Thread] [Limited to 4-8 People]

Kakeru who noticed that Shadin pointed him out, and there was a girl walking by was way too young and sickly looking to be in here, he'd move to her in a second first he had to deal with this guy who read his mind a bit, although a bit annoyed, he'd still respect him with a few bold and strong words that would seem cold, but that was just the viciousness of his voice when he began to focus on Rasuptin or what ever the hell his name was. "...Next time I think a thought, I hope you aren't trying to listen to me, because that was quite rude of you, I'm sure I'm new to this World as you speak of you'd not think I'd haven't see the changes of the environments, to the simple fact there's more evil in the world, to the fact that you don't even know me. So to assume I'm so naive as you think is a bad idea, now I was just here to see what would happen, but it looks like you're a problem, I will not attack out of respect of this meeting, but choose your words carefully, because next time I won't hold back my apparent disgust in your clothing which makes you look like a common place faggot. Now, since I'm done dealing with your stupidity. I suggest you watch your words." He'd then focus on the girl, if Rasputin tried to mess with him he'd have more than words for the young man. Looking at the girl who looked like a doll, he'd stop her gently showing a side of calm and gentleness. " I don't think someone like you should get too much closer to this cluster of people, it could get dangerous... Somehow now that I see you and am in your range, I feel a huge ass power coming from you, not sure what...bui it's definitely different from the people in here. I'm not sure if you're a power borrower, but.. if it gets dangerous then you can use a piece of mine, because I don't know how well this will end if it gets bloody. Although for now why don't you stay back for a little, and see what happens first before you go strolling into that, excuse my language, a clusterfuck of problems.... I may as direct some words to the head over there...might as well since he noticed me, Better introduce myself. He'd still have a gentle but firm grip on the shoulder of the young girl, but his focus was now on Shadin who he'd speak just as calmly, but with almost a deadpan in his voice. "You must be the one that called us here... what's the reason of calling this cast of people here? There must be a reason no? He seemed to remain at ease although his weapon which was just waiting for it's master to summon it seemed to wanted blood, he easily told it to shut the fuck up and he'd focus on the girl now as he was ready to talk to her more hopefully distract her from her current situation of walking up on Shadin Yuudeshi like a champ. "So.. tell me your name miss? Because well if we are going to be here a while might as well make some acquaintances while we're here no? Boku-wa Kakeru Leonhardt, I'm not from here if you couldn't tell, anyway doesn't mean we can't be nice to each other." His eerie calm was something that most people couldn't place as his face would show aloof and soft nature of a man just here to see what the hell was going on in there. It was only a matter of time before it would get interesting anyway, so he'd just keep focused on the girl and the situation, hopefully Rasputin wouldn't go and attack him. because that would just be annoying to him and very trivial.
