Background: Born many years ago without documentation, Shigeru was the third son in the Hojo Family. Being of low nobility, Shigeru was not entitled to anything. He rarely went outside, as the local clansmen hated the Hojo clan. He was always under watch from his father and older brothers, all of whom thought lowly of Shigeru. His father would make him to hard labor while he and Shigeru's brothers would sit inside. Eventually, he got tired of the bullshit and escaped his family's grasp. However, he did not fully realize the extent of the power of the Rokuhara Tandai.

The Rokuhara Tandai was a secret police of sorts, and abandoning the Hojo clan (who monopolized them) was a serious offense. He met a man clad in a black kosode and a black hakama. However, over the kosode was a white Haori with the number 11 sewn on the back. The man wielded two Katanas, and was easily able to defeat the Rokuhara Tandai members after Shigeru. The man introduced himself as Kenpachi Gendo. However, when a total of 50 Rokuhara Tandai members surrounded Gendo and Shigeru, Gendo was then able to show his power.

Within an instant, the entire force was set ablaze by some sort of magic that Gendo used. Shigeru then started following the man in black wherever he went. He was trained in the art of kendo by Gendo. It was not until Shigeru's uncle, Saji, took over the position of the head of the Hojo clan and the head of the Rokuhara Tandai that Shigeru was spotted by a member of the Rokuhara Tandai. Saji sent his men far and wide to find his nephew. Eventually they did. In a fierce battle, Gendo was forced to use something known as "Hadō 63." Shigeru was thrown about half of a mile by the explosion, and Gendo was nowhere to be seen. Shigeru thought that Saji's men had killed him, and so he vowed to kill Saji.

He trained harder and harder until he could kill five men just by drawing his sword. He eventually located where Saji was hiding out. Using every move Gendo had taught him as well as every technique he had learned on his own, Saji's men stood no chance. Even those clad in armor stood no chance against his swift movements. When he confronted Saji, he learned he was too late. Saji had died of a heart attack during rough sex. The woman in the relationship was also dead.

Shigeru wandered around, and started tinkering with odds and ends around Saji's manor. Shigeru inherited the manor, and so he was the current head of the Hojo clan. It wasn't long after that when Shigeru reformed the Hojo clan into the Mihara Clan, due to him not wanting to bear the blood-stained name of Hojo. Shigeru was then told of his status as the guardian of the country they were living in.

He was still young, and so he was trained by an Iramasha like himself. It was discovered that the Hojo clan was also the head family of the mid-level branch of demons. This gave Shigeru the opportunity to attend diplomatic meetings and meetings between the head families. He took this as an advantage to train harder. Within a month of starting his training, he had attained his Demon Angel Form.

It took years for him to master it, going weeks without sleep. Shigeru's powers were evident from the easy mastery of his Demon Angel Form. Within a year of mastering Demon Angel, he was able to enter Hell Angel Form. However, he hated the form, as it was non-humanoid. While it was bipedal, it was much like a creature made for four legs. He rarely used it, and actually read almost every book in the library to find out a way to change the form. He did not succeed, but he did find out more on the substance his Hell Angel Form was made of.

He spent many more months studying how this "hematite" was part of his powers. It was soon evident when he read that it was magnetic. He became so enthralled in this research that devoted 15 years of his life into studying magnetism. It eventually lead to gravity, which lead him to planetary science, and so-on. It took 200 years before he had studied at least one book on each of the sciences.

He was so enthralled that he went and partied for three days straight. After two days worth of hangovers, he wanted to see what the final form would be. By training with some of the strongest members of the demon family of the Iramashas, he was pushed to his limit in both forms. After a total of 1032 years of training, the beast within was released.

Normally it would take 2000 years after mastery of Hell Angel form. He hadn't mastered Hell Angel form yet. He had rushed himself, and so, he lost control. The form took over him, and he destroyed the Mihara clan's entire manor in one foul swoop. It took him seeing his family cowering in fear for him to snap out of it.

Shigeru refused to enter that form, and he hasn't since. He started developing technologies that would enhance his abilities on the defense of Iramasha Island. Shigeru has created a large electrical fence that is easy for humans to get through. It is meant to stop Menos. After that is something more sinister: piano wire electified. This prevents grunts from entering. He has also redone the ground in front of the walls that protect the inner cities. All of the ground has a metallic layer close to the surface. This allows for him to easily ensnare an opponent without killing them or resorting to violence.

Personality:

Intelligent:
Shigeru is a rather intelligent guy when it comes to his job. He usually makes many odd inventions that serve no purpose whatsoever. Shigeru also likes to plunder through and tinker with other people's belongings. He can pull up information like a walking encyclopedia. To keep up with some information, he usually has a book in his hand and reads a lot.

He does try to be modest about all this, though occasionally he’ll slip up and say something that sounds arrogant. If he catches it, he’ll quickly apologize and then shut up for a while afterwards. Shigeru doesn’t want to be seen as arrogant, and doesn’t like arrogant people that much either.

Ditzy:
Even if he is intelligent, Shigeru can be a bit of a scatterbrain. He tends to have some short-term memory problems at times, forgetting things rather often. Confusion is not unknown to him, and he can get things mixed up pretty easily. Other times he says things that make sense to him, but not so much to everyone else. He also slips into daydreams and/or dazes, which lead to him loosing track of his surroundings.

All of this also contributes to another small issue of his; clumsiness. His lack of awareness makes it easy for him to not notice something, leading him to tripping or bumping into something. He’s usually quick enough to make sure nothing gets broken, but that doesn’t mean things don’t slip through from time to time.

Persistant:
Shigeru is quite perstitant. Never the one to give up, Shigeru will keep charging at the proverbial dragon until he can't charge any more...then he'll find some way to charge again. Shigeru's main challenge about being persistant is cooking. Once, he actually burnt cereal. Then he burnt toast...now he's up to burning ramen. Oddly enough, he is actually more proficient in spices, rather than the actual cooking.

Powers:
While not an exact power, per se`, Shigeru can electrify almost any metallic object he comes across. The downside is that he does it unconciously and it happens at random. Also, as long as it doesn't have a charge of its own, it will be affected. This is incredibly helpful and harmful tool for him, seeing as how he works with metal daily.
