Amelia was unaware of any personality switch. Shiro on the other hand was the complete opposite. Shiro jumped away from Doctor Hebi and stared wide eyed at him, wondering what the hell had just happened. Not only had he kindly agreed to what Amelia had said, which was shocking enough, but it almost felt like something had moved in, or out. Right now, Shiro knew one thing and that was that he didn't want to be near the Doctor. It was even more strange, when everything seemed to go back to normal. The Doctor had left for a moment, come back, and then went to talking normally again. "What was that?" Shiro asked him, still very confused with whatever had just happened.
Amelia felt nothing but happiness when this fake statement was said. Still, the poor girl wasn't completely aware of her own gift. She didn't understand what exactly it just did to Doctor Hebi and what it had been doing since she got there. Hearing him say that he'd never let her go, she felt so happy and hoped that it was true. She didn't sense anything different about him, nor was she suspicious about what he had just said. When his arms went back to being limp and hanging from his body, she also loosened her hug and smiled happily up to him. Then he offered her something. It was a chance to make it where he never got bored of her, something she wanted rather bad at the moment. "Will it... make you happy?" she asked him, a serious look on her face as her golden colored eyes took on a rather serious demeanor. She's gonna do it. She wanted to. The only part she was scared of was the pain. He said it was going to be horrible.
"I'll do it..." she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath while making her final decision on the matter. "I will do it... if it makes you happy."

”It would.. satisfy me.” The doctor said, in response to her question. That sensation had been very strange, but he managed to finally shut it out of his mind as he looked down at her, hearing her accept it. The smile on his face grew wider. Not the insanely wide as when he was in front of the computer screen, but still quite wide as she agreed. ”Now... you said you liked promises, right? Then I'll need to have to have you promise not to move during the procedure.” He said, as he snapped his fingers. Instantly, the ground around them began to shift as a brown box of earth coated around the two, before with another snap they were going deep, deeper, deeper underground. Finally, the box around them crumbled; they were back in the lab. ”Do get that cloak I gave to you... you will need it after the procedure is over.” He explained, the smile still on his face as he got ready himself. He felt his energy changing as he pierced two needles into himself, before a look of relief came on his face as he withdrew them. Then, he reached over for Hebi, grabbing one of its fangs. This was going to be other critical part of the procedure. He didn't know what Amelia would be like coming out of it, but he could tell it would be interesting. He knew that cub would most likel ymake things bothersome; at the surface, he had one of his Selves distract it with a piece of string, as studies showed that 90% of cats were distracted by string. Should that fail, the Selve would just restrain Shiro however it could; being joined by as many other Selves as needed and sedating the creature before bringing it back down to the lab. He looked up once more, ready as he stood next to a chair, one made of cool metal. He had never used this particular machine before, and he could not wait for her to recline in it, to test it out. "Lay on the chair when you are ready to begin." He said simply, but plenty loud enough for her to hear. By this time, he would also have Shiro down there also, sleeping peacefully from the drugs, in a container within her view; that would most likely help her... to be ready to go through the hell to come into her head... |

Amelia smiled to him and nodded. She would do exactly what he wanted as long as it would make him happy. As they lowered into the lab, Amelia was growing more and more nervous. Her mind was going a mile a minute, trying to comprehend the pain she was about to be put through. She wondered whether she would even be able to handle it. The earth around them crumbled and once again they were in the lab. Amelia's mind was so distracted that she didn't even notice poor Shiro was left behind on the surface to ward of a selve. Shiro only wanted to get back to his 'Momma', so he surrendered without really any fighting at all. He was quickly sedated and closed his eyes, falling into a deep slumber. The moment this happened, Amelia raised her hand to her head. A lot of emotion she had felt before was suddenly gone. Shiro was no longer awake, so the emotion that she felt from him subsided and left her completely. She was dazed, back to what she was like when she first awoke in the lab. Her memories were gone, so she was close to being like a doll, nothing more.
Amelia held a very emotionless look on her face. She did as she was told and said nothing in reply to Doctor Hebi. After retrieving the cloak that she was given, she walked back to Doctor Hebi and set it down on a chair since he said that she would need it after the procedure. Hearing his command, she nodded and walked over to the chair and laid back into it. There was literally nothing normal about her current behavior. Something that was literally a part of her had been sedated and she was feeling the effects. She wasn't going to be acting normal until something in her brain snapped back into reality, or until Shiro once again awoke to reconnect with her. Now it was just a matter of time. The pain was sure to come and she was going to have to endure it and even do as Doctor Hebi said to stay completely still. If she were in her norm, she probably would have felt scared or nervous about this, but obviously that was not the case. She didn't even notice that Shiro had been brought down into the lab and was asleep only a small distance away from her.
"I am ready Doctor Hebi..." she said in an almost emotionless voice and closed her eyes.

The doctor noted her change through the Selve as the selve watched Shiro falling asleep. It was an odd change, he thought; although it was something he had nearly worked out by now. The tiger had some kind of link to her emotional state; he wasn't sure what it was, but it was very interesting. He knew he would have to test it later; but as it was, he was going to simply sit back and enjoy performing what was probably going to be his third largest experiment yet. He looked down at her as she came into the chair, speaking to him in that emotionless, obedient voice. He reached over, grabbing one of the syringes; this one was filled with a clear liquid, unlike the other two, which were dark red. He brought the needle up to the side of her neck, as he pushed it past her skin, pressing onto the plug as it deposited its load inside of her body, numbing all her nerves. However, even this would not be near enough to stop the pain she was about to go through. This was merely making certain that she would not die from the procedure. The doctor reflected on this as he brought up the next syringe, his smile slightly widening as he brought it over to her right shoulder, before inserting the needle... and then pushing down on the plug. The Doctor's altered energy ran all into Amelia's arm, as it burned through her flesh, creating what looked like a snake on her arm. A snake made of broken up links, with its head just above her wrist, mouth wide open. In reality, there were now thousands of snake-like tendrils of energy going through her body, as it burned away what made her truly an angel iramasha; in reality, this meant her connection to the Soul King and other angels. Of course, this was what an Angel Iramasha was founded on; so for it to be burned... well... She would be going through an absolutely massive amount of pain. The Doctor expected her to be somewhere between shaking and full on thrashing by this point, even as his right hand moved quickly, the other syringe in it as he inserted it into her left shoulder. He pressed on the plug as it did the same thing the first one was even now still doing; however, it reinforced the effects, as it began changing Amelia's very source of energy, changing it from the light, purity of an angel... into something darker, something that would feel like it was slithering through her whenever she used it. Then, at last, the doctor held up the fang. He placed it over her chest as he pushed it forwards into the skin, piercing it. However, this fang was like no other; it acted just like a syringe. A syringe... just for the Doctor's body. He felt as he deposited a large chunk of his energy, directly from his syringe to inside of her body. This would definitely make her entire form shake; the previous two syringes had already used the burned up connections as storage space for the new energy they were going to receive, as all over Amelia's body, little snakes began slithering from her pores, falling onto the floor before slithering off from the two, as the Doctor looked down at her with interest, before at last removing his hand from the fang. The fang itself... lowered inside of her. As it did this, the doctor watched with interest as her body slid something out from underneath her; a strange arrow like appendage from her backside. Most unusual... He reflected, blinking down at his charge... and waiting to see what she was like after the procedure, knowing she would most likely fall asleep right away from exhaustion. But even if she did.. he'd be right there when she woke up from the ordeal... even as the snake heads of the “tattoos” she had on her body looked up as actual snake's heads and blinked at him, before returning back to their blackened look on her arm... |

Amelia turned her head and stared up at the Doctor. It was all about to begin. At this point, she was unsure of what exactly was going to happen or what she was even doing. With Shiro asleep, everything she had promised, said, felt before was locked away. She remembered it, but she didn't remember how to feel it. There was one thing she did know, and that was she was not one to break a promise, so she would do her best to stay still. Of course she wasn't aware of the immeasurable amount of agony she was about to allow her body to be put through. She watched him. He pulled out a syringe. "So I guess it starts..." she thought to herself. As he placed it to her neck, her turned her head the opposite way to allow easier access. This was really just by reflex. She was prepared to hold back pain, but that is not what came. Instead, she felt her body numb. This caused her to feel slightly awkward and it was becoming strange to breathe normally. She soon adjusted and was breathing fine again and looked to him to see what was going to happen next. She hoped that this one wouldn't be painful, but he brought out a second syringe and aimed it at her right shoulder.
The syringe went in. The contents of the syringe were pushed through her skin, allowing what she thought to be some sort of liquid of sorts to invade her body. Amelia had been dazed for the moment. That changed. It hit. The immense amount of pain hit her at full force. This was horrifying. This was not what she had expected. She wasn't ready mentally or physically. As her reflexes took over, her body completely tensed up. She clenched her jaw tightly shut and closed her eyes as tears pushed through them and dropped down the sides of her face. "Oh my god! Oh my god! Stop, stop, stop!" she begged in her mind, but knew that it would not. Her own chest tightened on itself, reacting on it's own and not allowing her to breathe. She looked down to her right arm, seeing something that was the shape of a snake forming and moving down her arm to her wrist.
And then came the second dose of liquid into her body. The needle slipped through the skin on her arm and once again, what she thought was the same liquid was pushed through and into her body. She was doing good with holding back this pain, but now there was no way to. The pain she felt caused her to curl up for a moment and then toss her head back, causing her back to arch as her body became contorted. "AAAAHHHH!" she screamed at the top of her lungs as the same thing happened to the other side, but this only caused the pain to double. As the scream finished, her body dropped down harshly into the chair once more, her knees raising and pulling her into a fetal position. There was a strain on her body that she was unable to fight. It was a massive shock and had caused her heart to skip a beat multiple times. As her body got used to it just enough to allow her to breathe heavily and tense up in the chair. She laid there, looking at him in horror as she saw yet another coming towards her chest.
"No, no, no, no. Why? Another? Oh my gosh. Please... Please no more." she thought in a begging manner to herself as she watched it come forward and pierce through her chest. It wasn't going to stop. This time it was his own altered energy that moved into her body. She could tell. The others she was still unsure of. As this was happening, she could feel something strange happening behind her. Something was forming, growing out of her backside. "DO I HAVE A TAIL!?" she immediately thought as she suddenly felt it all stop. Her body dropped limply into the chair and she turned her head to look up at Doctor Hebi. She stared at him. Now that it was over, she suddenly felt something hit her nose and looked up to the ceiling. There were multiple spots that water had started leaking through. There were puddles on the floor now from spots that were coming down the walls. She had begun pulling the water from the lake above down towards her without even noticing, and obviously it was powerful enough to get through that much earth and walls. She hadn't passed out, but she was definitely tired.

The doctor blinked, reaching back one hand. He had used up a lot of power; but he knew it was going to be worth it, as he examined Amelia up and down. The snake tattoos were interesting; he reached out his right hand as he traced down her right arm, feeling them. The black marks themselves felt like a snake's scales; however, the rest of her body remained its perfect smoothness of an angel iramasha. Next, he reached down and gingerly touched the girl's new tail. It was strange; arrow shaped, but he could feel that the tip and the entire length of it was very strong. She would most likely be able to stand up, and more, using this tail; maybe even cause it to stretch. He didn't know, exactly, what touching her tail would do; however, Hebi knew. Most likely, as he continued to lightly caress her new tail and examine it, it would cause her to relax, as if her entire body was being massaged; after all... that tail had just become her lifeline to this world, as the Doctor knew that Hebi was. However, the Doctor was used to Hebi; he knew Amelia would not be prepared for the sensations that the tail would send thruogh her due to its extremely sensitive nature. The tail worked like this. The tail is the replacement for the connection that an angel iramasha gives up to the soul king; it is the one greatest essence of their being a Corrupted Angel Iramasha, as it replaces that source of power. It is hyper sensitive; so caring touches or caresses are greatly relaxing, whereas anything that hits it would cause an immense amount of pain, unless the user learned how to block out the sensations of their tail, as the doctor had become. This was due to the people who had “raised” him; all their drugs had allowed him to ignore the great pains he had felt whenever they worked on Hebi. He knew this through their research notes. He looked up at the ceiling, smiling as the water droplets fell down and impacted with his glasses, before turning down forwards to stare at the girl. ”That one procedure... I'd say your natural abilities were amplified between nine and twenty times their normal. You could most likely even challenge a captain of the gotei now; an inexperienced one, at least. This will make studying your abilities.. much more interesting. As well as this.” The doctor said, before he closed his eyes and barely opened his mouth, emitting a kind of cooing noise. Immediately, her tail rose up from underneath her, stretching itself out with her newly found energy as it swayed itself lazily back and forth in front of the doctor. He looked at it affectionately as he brushed down its length, again relaxing Amelia further. He looked down at her strangely; almost with an undecided look, as he continued to coo to her... until eventually, totally relaxed in the Doctor's “Arms”, as it were, she would fall asleep, her tail going limp as he laid it out over her, before sitting back in his chair as he took another snort of gold, looking back up at the swelled ceiling and thinking to himself... |

Doctor Hebi wasn't the only one that was examining Amelia. She too was looked down at her own body. She felt to weak to dare attempt to stand up out of the chair. She attempted to raise her arms and saw that they were shaking because of how tired she was. "It... still... hurts..." she thought to herself, trying to force herself to stay awake. She jumped, feeling a strange sensation from behind her. She looked back to see that Doctor Hebi was touching something. She looked down to it and then ran her eyes along to see that it was indeed attached to her. "So... I do... have a tail now..." she thought. Her own thoughts sounded dazed and calm. She looked to him, watching as he rubbed along her tail. Every now and then she would feel it twitch, move away from him. She could actually tell that she was sort of controlling it. It was an extension of her own body.
"My power has gotten that big?" she asked him in an innocent voice. She glanced up to the ceiling once more and realized that what he was saying might actually be true. For her to have drug the water from high above them, through the earth and the walls of this lab, it was definitely more power than she ever thought she could have. "Doctor Hebi..." she said his name softly as she suddenly began to feel as if she were to soon fall asleep. She knew it was his doing. Her body kept relaxing as he massaged her tail. She tried to fight it because she wanted to ask him something. "Did I do good?" she asked him, obviously referring to the procedure, "Did I make you happy?" She wanted an answer now, but her eyes slowly closed and she went limp, falling asleep in his arms, leaving that question for another day.
