Clashing Personalities

Even though it was technically still a part of Karakura Central, the outskirts of the city, just outside of the dome, were nothing like the city inside. It was a veritable wasteland outside of the dome; full of hollows and people who simply didn't fit into modern society. It was actually quite sad to see how much things had changed since the war wit Aizen and the events that followed in the last 400 years; nothing outside of the protected areas resembled the world that once was. Despite all of this, there were still those who worked to make the outside world a safe place again; of them was one Ravana Ichiro.

As usual, Ravana was out wandering around in the outskirts of the city; keeping up his training and trying to make the world a safer place. Of course, Ravana knew that his efforts alone would probably be meaningless in the end, but he was not the kind of person who could quit; no matter how impossible the odds were. Still, Ravana was out here more for training, as that was what this area was best for. Because he wasn't officially in any organization, Ravana had to take training into his own hands, and often had to come up with new ways to keep his skills sharp. Because of this, Ravana has actually increased his skills much more than by standard or traditional training methods.

Putting this aside, Ravana was currently taking a break from killing hollows. At the moment, he was sitting down and leaning on a large boulder; his Zanpakuto resting against the boulder right beside him as well. He was dressed as he almost always was, in his own personal shinigami outfit; consisting of a long overcoat, a pair of black hamaka pants, and the traditional sandals. Covering his chest was a bandage like wrap that he always wore, although the reason behind why he wore this is not known. He also had the same type of wrap around his forehead, covering up his left eye. A single scar could be seen coming out from under the wrap and extending down his cheek. Despite being a Vizard, Ravana still preferred to wear the outfit he wore as a shinigami, minus the captain's haori.

As he sat there, Ravana had his head tilted up, looking at the sky. Of course, it was nothing like the sky he used to know; it was a gray shell of it's former self now. "Things really have changed too much" Ravana muttered to himself as he looked at the sky, thinking back to the past for a brief moment. Of course, Ravana knew that he couldn't just live in the past, so he quickly brought his gaze back down to the area in front of himself, scanning the area while still sitting down. "Well, I should probably get back to training" he said to himself, although he made no signs of getting up. It was almost as if he was waiting for something before getting back up; but of course, this wasn't intentional.

This was the outskirts of Karakura town. probably one of Kurai's favorite places. It was a place full of destruction and eath. well atleast that's the feel he got from the place. As most people who met Kurai would know, he is the type of person who likes death and destruction. The only thing he like more was being the one doing the killing and destruction. Of course he had no real goals in mind so he just stuck with hollow bashing, so to speak. In these past 400 years Kurai hasn't really had much time to practice and in fact his skills haven't improved much at all. he's much stronger than he may appear but then again his strength could, when at full, compare to that of someone with the rank of 0 tier. Kurai was walking through the outskirts. he would fight these hollows out right but he needed to find a strong bunch. Kurai's sealed zanpactou however, contradicts his nature. he loves to kill however, when sealed his zanpactou cannot harm the living. Of course souls are a different story, same with hollows. So in theory he muight be able to destroy a sould but then again Kurai had never really had a chance to test it out before aand he wasn't going to start with the meaningless things.

Kurai felt a familiar presence.now this would prove to be interestuing. Probably the one guy in the world that has the exact opposite persinality of Kurai. All that saving the world and keeping it a safer place blather was always something that Kurai found hilarious. Of course then again Kurai only like to manipulate people and fight strong enemies. He could care less if the world fell into total and utter chaos, as long as he got to fight. he came up to the guy. "well, well, long time no see" Kurai said in an amused tone. Ravana had just made a comment on how the world has changed. Kurai rather liked the way things had turned out. "Aww come on the world isn't too bad now is it. Sure there's a little destruction but there can't be life without death right" Kurai continued in an amused tone. Kurai was stronger than ravana but not by much. The powerr level was about equal so they never really had a decisive battle before. "You should learn to enjoy it, this world is going to be like this or a long time..."

As Kurai approached him and spoke, Ravana laughed a bit and stood up; stretching slightly before turning to greet his old "friend." "Heh, I forgot that you liked waking up to the smell scorched earth" Ravana said jokingly, teasing Kurai's love of destruction. Other than being Vizards, there was hardly anything in common between Ravana and Kurai; they were complete opposites and usually broke into fighting with words when around each other for too long. Yet, despite all their differences, Kurai was one of the people Ravana would truly trust to have his back. Of course, Ravana would never admit this, as they both seemed to always compete over who was stronger. Despite Kurai's impressive and hard to face abilities, Ravana had been able to remain pretty much on par with him; something that would piss them both off.

After standing up and greeting Kurai, Ravana quickly grabbed his Zanpakuto and reattached it to his sash. Ravana already knew that Kurai was most likely out here for the same reason he was; to train, so he didn't bother asking him about that. Ravana, of course, trained to help reach his goals, not just to fight, so there was that difference. "Ya know Kurai, there is more to life than just fighting; there's women, booze, and food too" he said jokingly with a laugh. It was no secret that Kurai was always better with the ladies than Ravana, something Kurai often made fun of, which is why Ravana found his statement so funny.

KUrai raised an eyebrow in an interested manor. "Of course i know these things. I indulge in sake most of the time and as for women I definitely get more of them any you" Kurai said with a smirk. Of course this was true but also a joke between the two. Kurai did get more women but most were one night stands. Of course he wasn't the type to be in a long term relationship. He just didn't like being tied down by a single girl. He might be considered a womanizer but who really cares enough. He's lived long enough to not care a rats ass. Like most vizard Kurai dressed in casual clothing and despite his age he still looked to be in his early 20's. His zanpactou was handing from his pants. He was wearing his gigai and had on a grey jacket black shirt underneath, along with black pants and shoes. Kurai needed to let loose. He probably woldn't use many of his illusion type techiniques. What would be the point using them on these low level hollows anyway. It would be a waste of his skill. He really just wanted to cut down some hollows. He love destruction and terrorizing people who have already been through hell was getting old. Kurai is what most people would call the chaotic neutral. He works for both sides and no side at all. Which ever side offers him a chance to be the most destructive he'll join.

Of course once he's on that side he'll do his best to keep his clients alive. He's not too heartless. He does protect hiss investments. "well lets get this underway. It's just going to get boring with this back and forth anyway" Kurai said with a devious smile on his face. "Besides I have a certain "appointment" tonight and she would be so lonely if i missed it".
