» Appearance Description: Tesu Ikatodaishi has an eyepatch over his missing left eye, which had been a "token" affiliated to a loss in one of his sparring matches many years ago. Since then he has worked on fighting as well as seeing all around him just by having his head constantly turned slightly at the right, so as to have a more cyclops point of view. Which can, at times, make it difficult to fight, but he has adapted. His dark brown hair almost looks like flames the way it is styled.

He wears a black coat that stretches down to about his knees. No particular symbols or distinguishing features about it, but its sleeves are easy to fold back to above his elbows, which can help slighlty for moving his arms faster. He does have a bit of a stance when he is standing, as he is almost always on his guard, standing in a seemingly hunched way, he is ready to get away if need be.

» Personality: Tesu is pretty outgoing, he says what he wants even if just to get his point out, not much caring wether it will offend somone or get them mad. But he does stay more on the quiet side to superiors, unless hes just really having a bad day. Although he is just as ready to be laughing and having a good time, and then slaughtering anyone that gets in the way the next minute, as he can be a bit unpredictable, mad some might think of him to be as well. Although around friends Tesu is a bit difficult, as when he was still alive they always ended being killed in some way. As such he usually tries to distance himself from friendly people, other than on a casual chat here and there. But the more persistant the person is, the more likely he is to accept them as a friend, although he ends up being over protective for fear of losing them to the hollows.

Tesu enjoys talking to his opponent in battle, it adds a bit of glee when theres a nice conversation going on, even if it is somone he is trying to kill for any reason, he just enjoys the interaction. Drinks, one of the things that he cant get enough of, he would drink till their wasn't another drink for miles if it weren't for the fact that he always has a job to do, as well it displeases him that it has amost no effect on him, but his personality is completely calm if you can manage to get him under, not that he'd fight it anyways. Tesu is very persistant, if he is assigned something to do, and he wants to do it, he will get it done unless it is an impossible goal, even if hes assigned with a team to achieve a goal, he will get the team to keep trying until they succeed. That isn't to say that if the odds aren't in his favor that he won't back down, no he will, but he will try if there is a decent enough chance of success. Tesu despises the Soul Society, they never saved his family or friends when he was alive, he views them as incompetant, not nessecarily in how they are individually, but as an organization.

» Zanpakutō Name: Arizune

» Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance: Arizune's spirit appearance is mostly vague, as his clothing is black as night, but wears a long cloak that encompasses his entire length. Across both sides of the cloak there is a simple design of a white circle with a red X through the middle of it. He always has a bit of a grin, but his eyes have an almost blood red X in both of them.

» Zanpakutō Spirit Personality: Arizune's personality is just about as reversed to tesu as it can get, as Arizune is always calm, nothing seems to bother him even when fighting he just remains calm.

» Inner World: The inner world looks like a mist filled city, it has a very thick mist that is very difficult to see even a few feet in front of you. But with very tall skyscraper buildings, it is possible to have an overlook at the city, but there is a wall of mist at the cities limits in every direction. Although the city is misty as it is, it does alter depending on some of tesu's emotions, such as when he is actually happy the mist in the city clears out almost entirely, but it gets thicker and thicker the darker his mood gets. The time of day always seems to be noon.

Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance: A thick katana with a straight deep cut along the entire middle length of the blade.

» Release Phrase: Guide, Arizune

» Shikai Appearance: Tesu's coat changes to a dark red color, and a black X appears over each of his lungs, as well his left eye another X only red is placed across his entire pupil. As well his katana splits to be two katanas that he wields.

» Shikai Abilities: Tesu is basically guuided by his X in his eye, able to pinpoint exactly where he wants to hit, and is much more accurate in that pinpoint, doesnt effect how capable he is of hitting, but more of how accurate he is when he does hit. As well as pinpoint, Tesu's vision narrows focus more, by allowing him to focus easier on an individual target much better, but decreases his ability to notice his environment, but not entirely.

With these abilities Tesu can become a great assassin in Shikai form, due to his attention not easily shaken on what he is going after, but of course being less able to notice surrounding features it can become an issue.

» Inner Hollow Description: Tesu's hollow is tall standing, approx. 6'1'' but it doesnt usually use its height as it prefers to be ready for a quick turn, so it stands with its knees bent, reducing its percieved height by a few inches, but the appearance otherwise. The hollow has stronger legs so that it may move faster, but not that much stronger arms so it cant deal killing blows but it is able to move fast.

» Inner Hollow Personality: In short, the hollow is just about ready to commit a mass killing spree whenever it feels like, simply because it could try, but it knows when it wouldnt be a good time. But overall the hollow enjoys being persistant, and likes to scream alot just as a battle cry.

» Inner Hollow Powers: Tesu's inner hollow is able to manifest throwable spikes that when they are thrown and hit anything, they sink in and emit a paralyzing gas that travels through the blood stream, as soon as these spikes hit they pull themselves inside what they hit with hundreds more tiny spikes that are along the sides of the spike. this gas can be particularly potent, as it can blur the targets vision, make them start to lose most nerve actions, and cause nausea. As soon as the spikes run out of their gas, they just dissolve what remains of itself and infects the nearby lymph nodes with the same gas.

» Vizard Powers: When tesu puts his mask on he moves much faster, as his hollow moves at fantastic speeds. With him being able to move faster Tesu can dodge attacks on him better as well as deal outmore likely ones as well, but it does have its limits.

» Background: Tesu had lived his entire life with friends and family being killed, he was always alone and he could never figure out who the killers were or if it even was more than one. All that he knew was that anyone he ever got close to would end up being killed by someone or something. And so he vowed he would do everything he could to find out who it was and why.

The only issue with his vow, is that he himself ended up getting killed in the process, he had joined a standard police force and was a fantastic officer, but one night when he was out investigating a possible murder, he happened to see something he probably wasn't, although it was just a slight haze down the street from where he was, he decided to run after it, hoping it was the killer. Especially after seeing the body, as there was nothing left but a pool of blood.

As he progressed down the street he saw the haze alittle more clearly, and more frequently. as he was gettign closer he saw it become much more clear, and how large it really was. Soon as he tried shooting it to no effect, he realized he needed to run, fast. So off he went, running as fast as he could manage to get away from the beast which he didnt realize, but was actually a hollow. As he was running he didn't happen to notice the the ledge into an abandoned building project. As he tripped and fell into the half-built lot, he saw the hollow as it really was, but he didnt understand what it was, not that it mattered, as seconds later he saw the rusted pole that was impaled through his chest.

Tesu suffered immense pain from his death, and he quickly faded into its embrace. The next thing he remembered just seeing a light that was incredibly bright, only to realize it was somehow the sun. but he just died, and looked around to see a town, confused even more by this, he wandered around looking to find some answers, but from what he could tell there were people here, but they were being shut ins, so he decided to wander outside of town a ways, just to kind of explore around a bit. Little did he know he was being followed.

As Tesu wandered around outside of town, he thought that he could actually 'feel' something around him, as he looked around, he saw nothing, but as he turned back around he saw face to face the same hollow that had ended up becoming his death only minutes ago. As he was backing away and turning to run, the hollow cut him across the side essentially sending him flying from the hard blow, nearly knocking him unconcious. But although he wasn't out completely, there wasn't any possible way he could fight in his condition. But he was in luck, the hollow wasn't the only thing following him, although he only saw the mist where the hollow was moments ago, and as he was fading from conciousness he could make out a blur of somone walking towards him.

As Tesu was unconcious, he saw his inner world for the first time, a vast cityscape with high tower skyscrapers all around, Tesu was atop one of them, and he could see the ground far below, it seemed as though this was an unreal height for a skyscraper, although he was still amased by the radical height that he was at. It was soon after that he heard something moving behind him, as he turned around he saw what to him was yet another of those beasts, although this one looked much different than the one from before.

He also realized he had nowhere to run either, as he looked around he saw an interesting sword sticking in the roof of the skyscraper next to him, but as he tried to pull it out, it wouldn't budge. Then the hollow charged, this hollow seemed much faster than either of the ones he had seen so far, but to his amazement, he was able to roll out of the way, if just barely. He decided he had to find a way off this roof, or to get the sword out of the ground, he figured the latter would be easier, so he continued to try and dodge the hollow, each time getting closer and closer to being seriously injured than the last, after a few more close calls he wound back near the sword, but the hollow was about the same distance. He decided he would have to run, and so he did. Although it seemed the hollow predicted this as well as it ran to the sword to be ready for him as well. But Tesu figured that it was do or die here, he would have to give it his all. As he reached for the sword he felt some sort of surge course through him, which surprised him beyond anything so far. The surge also seemed to give him some sort of insight, which seemed as if it were guiding him. Almost as if he were being pulled to use the sword, which he then ripped the sword out of the ground, pulling it up to the hollow just as it was lunging for the killing blow, but the sword met its neck, slicing up through its face.

As the hollow was turning into a mist like the other before, the mist swarmed towards Tesu, swirling to inside of his lungs. What he felt from this nearly made him sick, and he fell to his knees coughing, shaking uncontrollably, he could feel something happening to him, his vision started to blur, and he couldn't control how he was moving entirely. Soon enough he faded from conciousness again, at least what he thought to be conciousness. As he awoke, he found himself in a dark room, with the smell of tea all around him, he felt too weak to sit up, but he felt to his side with his hand to find it completely bandaged, at this he sighed with relief, and stretched alittle, to find the katana that he had put through the hollows throat, right next to him. He picked it up, took it out of its sheath, trying to look closely at the blade, but could not see anything well enough to see what it looked like, so he resheathed it and laid it next to him again.

A few minutes later he heard footsteps coming from down a hallway, he tried to sit up but still did not have the will power to do so. As the footsteps came closer he looked over at the door, just in time to see a flash of light from outside that temporarily blinded him, so he could not see who had walked in. The footsteps came closer and the person who entered sat down nearby putting a tray with teacups on it.

As his vision cleared he looked up at the tea-bringer, to see a man sitting there sipping one of the cups, although he seemed to pay no mind to the fact that Tesu had awoken, as such Tesu attempted to sit back up, barely succeeding this time, and reached over for one of the teacups. Tesu brought the teacup to his lips and began to sip quietly, hoping the other man would say or do something instead of staying in silence. After a few minutes of silence, the tea-bringer finally began to talk: "so your a vizard" Although to Tesu this made absolutely no sense, seeing as he neither knew what a Vizard was, or even how this strange man would even be able to tell such a thing: 'What is a Vizard?' With that, the man seemed to look at Tesu strangely: "Do you not know where you are?" Again Tesu had no idea where this man was getting at. After sitting in silence some more, the man spoke again: "you must have died not that long ago, most people know what a Vizard is beforehand" Although this didn't entirely surprise Tesu after seeing himself impaled. But he still had plenty of questions: 'What was that thing that attacked me?' With that, the man grinned alittle: "That was what everyone calls a hollow, they feast upon the souls of the dead, and they are not the friendliest things. You are a Vizard, you have one of those hollows inside of you, it cant do too much to you so long as you can keep it inside your control. Also that sword next to you is your Zanpakutō, it is your tool and your ally to fight against these hollows." Tesu sighed, still uneasy about all of this: 'So im dead, and i have.. abilities then, in order to fight these beasts, are.. these the things that killed my friends and family and were untraceable..?' The man sat silent for quite some time: "yes.." With this, Tesu lowered his head: 'Theres more people.. with these weapons couldn't they have saved them..' The man never answered, just continued to sit in silence.: 'Don't they hve a company since theres more..?' With this the man finally decided to answer: "yes, they are calles the Soul Society, they can't get everywhere all the time.. there have been wars going on and it has been difficult for them to act everywhere at all times.. I'm sorry" Tesu didn't seem to care, he just laid back down, sighed and closed his eyes, The man waited, but left after a few minutes, bringing the tray and teacups with him.

Tesu woke the next day, feeling much more refreshed, even able to get up and walk around. Still distraught from yesterday, Tesu decided he would leave, he didn't know where he would go he just knew he needed to go. with that, he picked up his Zanpakutō, and walked to the door, as he got to it, it opened, the man stood there: "where are you going?" Tesu glanced at the man: 'It doesn't matter, i just need to leave.' Tesu walked past the man heading to the front door to leave this odd mans house for good.

Tesu wandered around town for a few hours, still seeing that people were seemingly avoiding him, but it didn't bother him, he payed everything around him no mind at all. That is until he saw a very strange woman, who looked like she was trying to be sneaky, or at least make herself less seen. Although Tesu was always overly observant, so he picked her out right away, but he didn't go to her, he just kept walking, although she seemed to notice him just fine, possibly by the large bandages all over the side of his body. As she started to walk after him as soon as they passed, but she started to ask him: "how did you get those bandages?" Tesu, not wanting to be in a conversation too much at that time tried to keep walking, until she decided to pop up right in front of him: 'If you must know.. apparently i was attacked by a hollow.' He tried to sidestep her but she just sidestepped back, staying in his way: "why aren't you in a hospital or anything then, after all you could have an infection." With this she said with a grin. There was something alittle unsettling about her grin for Tesu though, but not too much: 'I was being treated, but i'd rather not deal with anyone working for the Soul Society right now, they already screwed up one major thing..' Again he tried to get by, almost escaping her presence, but she stayed persistant:"why do you hate the soul society?" With this Tesu seemed alittle agitated, ready to push her out of the way if he needed: 'Let's just say they need to stay out of my way, or bad things might happen.' She grinned even more, and started to pull on Tesu's arm, dragging him who knows where, even though she wasn't that big, she seemed to have alot of strength: 'Where do you think your dragging me!? and who are you?' She just giggled, dragging him all the same: "I'm Logan, and im taking you to your new home".

» Role Play Sample: Panting, out of breathe, can't run much farther. Tesu can't tell if he can get away from his chasers, although he has trained along time for these sorts of missions he can't seem to get far enough away. Continuing running, Tesu doesn't care to look back, it would slow him down too much and that would give his chasers just enough time to either kill him or catch him, he didn't care for either to happen. All he wanted was to get back to his team, and get his money, but at the moment, he needed to run or find a good hiding place. To Tesu's amazement, he thought he saw a canyon and heard the sound of running water. He quickly dashed to the source of the sound, and none too soon, as the ground he was just standing in just had a torrent of high pressure wind thrash through it. although this nearly deafened him, which meant it was too close, he needed to escape, now. As he got closer so did the wind blasts, he had managed to get close to the ledge to the river below. All he had to do now was jump, but the last blast had cut the back of his leg, tripping him just before the edge, as pain seared through Tesu's body he realised he needed to escape still, this wasn't the end, this wasn't how he was going to die. With what willpower he could muster he rolled off the edge toppling down to the deep waters of the river, luckily it was a slow moving river, so he didn't have to fight the flow of the river. In fact, all he cared about right now was that he was safe, he just had to float down the river until he found a good deposit point.
