Game of Control
Episode 1
“Settling a Score”

As a woman leaving the safety of the dome, Hanako feels she is up for grabs at any moment. The risk is mild and critical as she can tell that she was watched and even as she takes care of her kids back at the pub. The plumes of dust kicking up behind her as her white shoes appear worn as the ending hem of her jeans' leggings are worn from use. The threads from it waves as she rides her hover bike. The reason that she told her husband, Koichi was that she is going out on a morning flight to get some fresh air. The real reason was kept away from even Koichi's sharp hearing and mental link as Hanako plays the mind game that she always has since she left Osaka. There is also no way for Shadin or KJ to figure out her plans because she was all natural, no cyber-brain for them to hack into. With all the activity she does, Hanako made an odd point in her symmetrical patterns. Anyone who could have seen and recognized her before would pick up on that clue, but it is unlike that situation because the city's mazes allow Hanako to bob and weave through paths after paths to elude and confuse anyone pursuing her. The problem to Hanako was that she did tell the truth that she was going to get some fresh air by riding her hover bike, but did not tell him the whole thing. It is still in the morning as the sun was peeking over the horizon, giving the wasteland around a red hue as the atmosphere was given an orange hue. The breeze passing by her like a gust was cool with a hint of the sun's ray beating down upon anything, including her skin unprotected by her white tank-top and fingerless fighting gloves.

It was currently a mile away from the very edge of the Karakuran Slums. The biggest risk is being jumped by hollows or enemies from her past, but it would not be as bad as facing those who would try to kill her while she cannot handle them. Hanako slows to a stop as she lands the hover bike onto the dirt floor before she wills herself off the bike. Despite it being in the morning, Hanako was not bothered with tiresomeness or exhaustion; she is as awake as a working woman expecting a promotion. Whoever was watching her this well would not be trying to expose themselves unless they want themselves to be caught more often if it fails. So to Hanako, the spy would be returning to the employer to report; it is the logical move as Hanako would do that for Shadin Yuudeshi or Halo Iramasha if Hanako does not want a well-informed criminal go off and hunt down her children to get to her. If her guess is correct, whoever sent that spy would be connected to her. The only guess would be Zane Fenier or Yako Grim, the two Kokuryuteishin commanders who are once her captors. Ever since she successfully escaped, Zane and Yako would be scolded for the failure and be expected to try again to prove their worth for redemption. How else she would think the reasons she would be responsible for their pursuit? If something else happened, then Hanako would feel that something about her was exposed and she should turn to her allies and eventually tell them the full truth. It would be impossible for her to be found out in that secret, considering how well she can cover her tracks. But either way, Hanako has to be ready for any occasion. There is no telling what would happen from now on and she can only pray that it is someone she can work with instead of having to fight for her life and freedom.

Hanako looks around with her pale blue eyes at the surrounding as there are patches of dead grasses and dirt. Hanako was told that it used to be greener. If it used to be green, then Hanako believes the wars between humans, demons, shinigami, and hollows; all did nothing, but destroying what they want. Hanako can see every one of them have a joker in their hand and are waiting for each other to call quits. Ashlei, Mana, Xaver and Shadin...they are all just buying time to wait for each other to lose faith in their hands. Hanako felt that she is the queen that is in Shadin's hand; Useless unless she is the part of the royal flush or the straight or even a full house. But it is not the hand that makes the situation determined, it is who is the joker that each and every one of player will be holding because despite there are the spades, the diamonds, the clubs, and the hearts, there can only be one joker, laughing at the holder's future loss. Another breeze passes by with warmth that was unnecessary, but still ambient with the summer air. Some of the dirt carried by the breeze manages to stick to her radiantly smooth skin as they stick to the sun screen that she put on, knowing she would be waiting there for the time being and getting sunburned would not be good to come back with as she would have to explain how she gets that when hovering around the city. For now, she waits for the one who was sending a spy to keep an eye on her. Her arms crossed underneath her full breasts with a leer on her face, showing that she means business if she is going to speak.

Zane Fenier
Stone Cross Commander, K-world

The Game of Control: Episode 1 Boys-anime-guys-7855061-312-500

Well this was definately a surprise to Zane as they spy had returned to him and reported directly to him within the Stone Manor. Both Zane and Yako were present but Yako had to return to base to complete other duties so it would be up to him to completely to accomplish the task that was at hand. While Zane was making preparations to leave the spy informed him of any needed info about Hanako that would be useful but one thing that caught him was that she suposedly has now five children. With that noted it has truly been a long time since the last time they had encountered each other in K-world and then on Iramasha Island where her escape could not be stopped. It was time that he reclaimed what Yako and him lost when Hanako got away last time. The same mistake will not be made again and he will make that certain. After all the preparations were made a portal was opened for him that would most likely appear several feet away from Hanako's current position on Earth.

Once the portal was ready for him, Zane moved into it with The Veil on him covering nearly everything with it's hood and being able to cover his entire body. So when he entered the realm of the living, Zane was completely covered and the only thing that could give away to Hanako that it was him was the fact of his body size. But Zane won't play the game of hiding under a disguise, that wasn't how he played at all so he wouldn't remain hidden very long. After taking or two or three steps out of the portal it closed and Zane stopped immeaditely keeping distance from Hanako. After a bit of time Zane removed the hood over his head and at same time he decided to speak to Hanako and ask her a question.

" So Hanako how has life been without K-world? Is it all that you hoped for no longer being my guest?" He asked trying to not be serious but casual.

Hanako was definately acting quite serious about this and he didn't need that. After revealing who he was might set something off and that might not be good either and another negitive was that Zane was in a weakened state and wondered if Hanako would be able to pick up on that or not. If she could then maybe he would be able to fake certain things but that was just a card in his hand to play with later if needed. All he was trying to do right now is try and make Hanako feel that he wasn't seeking to capture her again but here for other reasons than that one. The cards were dealt to both of them and now they needed to use them wisely in this battle of wits that was only beginning in front of them. Who will come out on top and who will go on to be the loser and only the future can tell what is yet to come for both of them. Zane only saw the factors in front of him but there was probably much more going on itn the area than he realized.

Steps out of the gates from the Seireiti and looks around, he was dressed in vintage blue jeans, a white muscle shirt and a black dress shirt overtop, over his left shoulder was what looked like a guitar case. But really what was inside was both of his Katana's, currently he was in his Gigai, which hid his spiritual pressure from those around him. Kaio, as he liked to be called, was a massive man in his own right, standing a hair over six feet four inches tall, and weighed over two hundred and fourty pounds of solid muscle.

It had been over a year and a half since he had returned to the real world the last time he had been here, he had faced a major Hollow attack, and a Vizard officer. The lives of his fellow students had been saved, but it had cost him, specifically his left arm, and nearly a year worth of classes while he recovered. His arm was still under some minor treatments by the fourth division, but he had also been put pretty far ahead of his fellow classmates when his Shikai woke up and helped him in combat.

He stopped and looked around the streets, He had ended up on the far edge of the slums of Karakura city, and he was here to hunt Hollows. He had gotten a little rusty as he had to get back into the swing of things, the spirit in his sword was getting sort of restless and bugging him to get back into action. He just moved away from the city not seeing any sign of people nearby and making sure he wasn't being followed.

The Game of Control: Episode 1 1778888-hitomi_super

"So Hanako how has life been without K-world? Is it all that you hoped for no longer being my guest?"
The tone was calm and it is a clue that Zane would have something up his sleeve and Hanako knows the voice anywhere. However, she seems to not raise her guard towards him, however her eyes are locked onto the eyes of her opposition as though she can see through the cloak that hides his appearance. The problem with Zane that puts her off is his standing. Her intuition implies that Zane is in a grave disadvantage and prefers not to fight. Considering that, he would be trying to buy time for something to happen. Preparation? Trap? Ambush? Which of them is closer to the truth of the intention and all that leaves Hanako in a ponderous focus. By experience, Zane relies heavily on the defensive aspect of mysticism, thus allowing him to create and layer barriers on top of each other for a better chance of slowing the attacks down to null. However, the truth is that in any defense, there is offense as there are the vice-versa effect of mysticism. The vice-versa effect is simple; when attacking, you are defending and when you are defending, you are attacking. In short, Zane has something that he can attack with and Hanako would be in a disadvantage is she is too far for hand-to-hand combat.

Hanako slips her left hand into her pocket and keeps her right arm and hands limped. Her eyes are sharp with animosity not for Zane, but for his emblem, the Kokuryuteshi. She whispers something as a ripple appears in the background behind Hanako. Within the ripple, a starlight illuminates in the morning light, a holy light that seems unnatural, yet the spiritual pressure was not resonating within her. That can imply that whatever happened is from another source. The starlight splashes within an invisible outline of a sword that is possibly taller than Hanako. Once the starlight dims down into a golden glow, it reveals the golden sword as nothing short of majestic, yet powerful in its rights for existence. Even the blade appears to be made out of gold. Looking at the hand-guard, there are two heads of a lion roaring out the wrath of the sword's power. The aura its carrying was appearing strong, yet feels eerily empty as the sword feels it has no spiritual presence at all.

"It is a rhetorical question, Fenier. Your spy is lucky to keep his freedom with how many I spotted him."
Hanako sounds that she knew about the spy all along and to that, Zane could be having a feeling that if she knew about the spy, she could have planted false intelligence to purposefully put Zane into a bad spot. If Zane wishes to continue on with the intention, Hanako can continue with the game with her own cards as her guard. Hanako draws out her sword with her free right hand and tosses it aside to her right and in between her and Zane as if she is setting up the field. The sword flips around and lands onto the ground with a faint tremor that vibrates underneath Zane's feet. If that sword was indeed heavy, then how can Hanako just toss it like a kitchen knife, effortlessly. If Zane knowledge was good enough, he would be picking up the clue that the sword was either a demon weapon or Hanako was stronger than she is before. Either way is correct, but only one can make the difference. Hanako bluntly speaks her peace like before and her best card is still not in play yet as she uses a more diplomatic card. She shifts to her left and slowly step two paces as she speaks.

"I can tell what you are intending to do."
The tactic was prepared by her first statement that infers that she is well aware of Zane's spy. To someone who is unfamiliar, it would appear to them as though Hanako can see into the future and knows how to prevent it. In reality, it is contrary to the idea that Hanako, the daughter of the legendary Demon Loremaster would possess the ability to change her fate. All she would be doing is empathize her bluff with another bluff. However, unlike Zane's poker face, where he has to hide a lot of his features into the cloak, Hanako has nothing to hide, showing to Zane that she has the upper hand while her poker face was good enough to make a crime lord sweat as she does not change her expression at all as she talks and paces. She shifts to an one-eighty to oppose her past blocking as she slowly walk five paces to her right instead of two. Her eyes never leaving contact with Zane's eyes as to her enemies, they can see her eyes resembling her father's leer, a despairing leer that can slowly convince people into following her.

"Kin Iramasha is holding a joker card and so have our other leaders; they are now waiting for each other to bail out as in the end, all that we work for will disappear by that joker card."

The Game of Control: Episode 1 Boys-anime-guys-7855061-312-500

Zane was a bit shocked at Hanako's response as she not only told him about the spy but responded to him by calling him Fenier something that someone hasn't connected to him in a long time as he's be in the Stone Cross. The response made him lose his cool a bit and come with a shocked look a bit but he recovered shortly to respond back to her but not until she was done speaking and after the show with the sword that feel to the ground between them with a thud that they both probably felt. This made him worry but he had to keep his cool unlike the last time she talked. She seemed to speak as if she knew everything and that was a problem but a question in his mind, and it was why she would say that she know what he intends to do. But then go on to talk about Kin and all the other leaders holding a joker in there hand which made him laugh a bit because it seemed like she completely talked like she was truly playing a game that she knew the rules of and could tell the result of player's move in the game.

" Hanako you speak as if there are rules to the card game and the joker is a valued thing in it. But we both know that a hand of cards with the joker in it can be more valueable than another. Also you state that the joker will bring the destruction of everything yet, I believe that is impossible . You say how the game is but the rules haven't been stated and how one or all wins or loses in this game." He stated to Hanako.

If even know they were playing a game with cards yet the rules were not stated but there was a objective and they would try to get it while playing by the rules they create for this game. When you play card you are usually using a deck of cards like any other but every game is different with the deck having the rules set makes them all different. Some games have rules that make them unique but some games have rules that are set in stone or at least they believe are set in stone. One could play a game of Hearts and Solitaire with the same deck yet they are different completely in the rules.

Zane waited for Hanako to respond and he took a step closer to her and the sword that she had dropped and he had a choice if he could to investigate the sword a bit if he could get the chance but trying to take it would make Hanako try to get it or flee if he grabs it or is there some kind of trap waiting for him if he touchs the sword. The negatives were way higher than the positives making him only want to get close enough to get a good look at it. He would speak again to Hanako asking her a question again.

"You knew about my spy yet you allowed him to live and report to me bringing me here. So why have you done so Hanako? You've obviously not set up a trap because no one else is present but yet you still brought me here. If you were bothered by the spy why didn't you just take care of it?" He asked her.

Althrough the spy had given him info none of it was very unseful beside this location really but hopefully that would be all that was needed for him. But as he continued talking to Hanako, Zane sensed a pressence that was far away and much higher than him in his current state. He wondered where this conversation would get him but the game had no rules and as such it was unknown what something will get you a penalty, a advantage, or leave you with nothing gained nor lost. It was quite a puzzling game of cards as the dealer if there was one might be passing out cards to a new player, they might be golden and put them on top or make them have nothing to change the outcome of what would happen. Only time would tell and right now Zane took one more step towards the sword as Hanako would respond to the questions that he had asked early. Now only the future can tell what factors lay in front of him again.

Kneels down and flips open the guitar case once he was away from the city, withdrawing the swords from inside and affixing them to his right side. His golden eyes scanning the landscape, He was here to kill hollows, and kill hollows is what he was going to do. He wasn't sure where he was going to start tho, moving away from where he entered the wilderness, he began moving in a random direction.

He was not very fast, at all, so he moved in a circleing direction, making it look as if he was lost attempting to make himselflook aas if he was a good target to attack. He would eventually get to a point where he would hear a female sounding voice, talking to someone possibly, hell she could have been talking to herself but he wasn't sure so he made his way in the direcion of the voice.

He moved slow enough that he made sure that he made as little noise as possible and approached from a bad angle attempting to lower the chance of being seen. He kneeled down beside the largest tree as possible and tried to spy who it was talking and who she was talking too.
