"Yay!!Yay!! Yay!! No more studying!!"
Those words escaped Ketai's mouth with such joy as he ran down the busy streets of Karakura city. Not really to give a second though on who he bumped into to, Ketai smiled as he enjoyed the moments of freedom he had. His mom, Kushina, Had been making him read up on the Kidō books, training him from there home in Karakura. Ketai thought that it was torture, Having to read line after line of incantation. Alas, He was an obedient boy, So, He did what his mother told him to do. But, There would be no more of that, Now, It would time to explore some of the hidden places within Karakura City- Well, Hidden to Ketai anyway. His fiery red hair would, and could be seen from at least twenty yards away with decent eye sight; One of his signature traits of Kushina's family. Compared to the other people around him, Ketai was but an ant in the sea of people surrounding him. The young shinigami loved the hustle and bustle of this city, It made him feel so alive and in-tune with everything. A big brimming smile was then plastered over his face- One that was clearly a Yuri Tsuykuyomi trait. His golden eyes were then fixated on a big building with this massive sign that read.
"CLIMB THE TOWER OF POWER; ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE ?"
Up for the challenge ? That was an understatement. Ketai giggled profusely before reading the directions to his destination on the same sign- Roughly half was across the city. Seemingly mesmerized by the sign, Ketai shook his head slightly to shake off the "awe" feeling, beginning to run towards the destined location. The young shinigami was in a brisk jog before getting to an intersection of the street- Darting traffic from left to right. Skidding slightly to stop himself from falling into the storm of Traffic, Ketai stops quickly, Sighing softly because of his disappointment of having to wait. A singular minute passed by before Ketai began to tap his foot slightly in annoyance. Ugh. Being a bit impatient, Ketai simply decided to turn left at the corner instead of going straight, Hoping to circle around the other block and get to the TOWER OF POWER even faster- Wrong. As he continued going down the Divided path, Ketai was once again into a light jog, wanting to make up for lost time waiting at the time- Even though barely any time was wasted. Oh, Impatient youth. Almost to the other intersection, Ketai passed an alley, hearing a whining sound. Back pedaling to the entrance of the alley, The Young Shinigami placed his hand on his chin before taking a fleeting moment to think; And like clock work, The whining showed itself once more.
"What is that sound... ?"
Ketai's body just began to move into the alley, Pretty much forgetting his previous objective at hand- Curiosity strikes the young mind. What will he find in here anyway ?

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari had been on patrol by herself in the city of Karakura town. Shunpoing from building to building, she hadn't found anything just yet, but was told that a Hollow was somewhere in the area. Figuring since she had not found anything for the passed couple of hours, she sighed out of slight irritation and sat down on the edge of the building, hoping to get word of another Hollow appearance that she could actually track. She slid her hand onto the inside of her haori and pulled out a small snack she had brought with her. Her stomach was growling and she decided now would be a good time to take a small break and eat something. She had already been feeling a bit lightheaded because she had not done so earlier. Little to her own knowledge, as she was trying to relax, a Hollow was sneaking up from behind her. It's ability to hide it's spiritual pressure and keep itself invisible was definitely a lucky thing for himself. He wasn't very strong. The only thing keeping him alive for this long was this ability of his. While still hiding, it began to prepare a cero. Right before he went to shoot it off, he was forced to reveal himself. Kaminari's eyes widened, realizing that this hollow was only a couple feet behind her. Dropping her snack and pushing herself to her feet, she went to shunpo out of the way, but it had already fired. The cero slammed into her left side, hitting her waist all they way down to her knee. She clenched her teeth as the pain from her now burnt flesh shot through out her body. "Damn it... I let my guard down." She cursed herself for being so foolish as she shunpo'd ten feet away from him. She wasn't able to stand easily, her right leg taking on most of the pressure since she couldn't use her left. The Hollow went to charge at her, but she wasn't so weak as to allow it to kill her. Moving forward, she moved to it's left side as she unsheathed her Zanpakutō, she easily swung it around and sliced through it's mask. It died, but her unfortunate circumstance had not come to an end. Trying to catch herself, she accidentally pressed down on her left leg and it gave out, causing her to fall over the edge of a building and into an alley. She laid there for a long while, trying to come up with a way to get herself out of here and get some medical attention. Every time she tried to move, the pain shot through her body, causing a slight whimper to echo through out the alley. "Some body help me..." she practically begged as yet another pain shot through her leg as she tried to push herself to her feet, but her body just fell back to the ground. |

Name: Ketai Tsukuyomi
Alias: "Zero Flame"
Appearance: Casual Garment
Damage Status: Unharmed
Emotional State: Concerned
Tier: 4-3
Youth, Always wanting to find out what lies on the other side of things- A natural compulsion. However, finding out what on the other side could be dangerous, or even fatal. In this case, It was neither, It was more of a saving grace. If anything was here, Such as a Hollow, Ketai would be in a bit of a tight spot. He doesn't have a Zanpakutō, nor is he incredibly strong- He is but a novice soul within the cavalcade of others around him. Shifting his gaze from left to right in a examining mannerism, Ketai placed his hands behind his head- Almost in a relaxed position. It was only a matter of time before his golden eyes saw a young lady on the ground by one of the many cascading walls that went upward almost infinitely. His eyes widened as he noticed her injuries- Not good at all. At all. Running up to the girl, Ketai knelled down beside her, taking an extra careful look at the injuries that ailed her. Ketai smiled softly in a reassuring way before inquiring about what happened.
"Oh my god.. Are you alright ? What happened to you ?"
The Young Shinigami noticed her left leg was targeted from what looked to be an energy attack- Seemed like it would have hurt a lot. Ketai wasn't the biggest shinigami, nor the most buff, But, He determination to help people out shined all of those apparent limitations. Shifting his eyes backward for a moment, Ketai felt something odd, But, Didn't pay any mind to it for the time being. His first objective would be to get this lady to some medical help. Ketai put the woman's arm around his shoulder to help her off the ground. He looked from left to right before thinking to himself for a brief moment; Where would he take this woman to get some medical attention ? Ketai's art in medical Kidō was defiantly lacking in power, but, It still had some affect. Thinking that might be the only way to bind some time before he could get some real paramedics, Ketai sighed before noticing a bunch of debris that could be used as a bench in a time like this. Taking a slow walk to the bench, Ketai Allowed the woman to walk over there herself, If not, He would have helped her over.
"Ok... I'm not the greatest at this, But, I'll try my best ma'am"
Ketai lifted his hands above the affected area, placing his palms outward, and closing his eyes in concentration. His hands began to glow a faint white before beginning to administer the healing Kidō to her. Ketai was a bit impulsive when it comes to helping people- For all he knows, She could have been an evil person. But, The way she asked for help wasn't that of an evil persona, more of a softly innocence. A bead of sweat trickled down Ketai's forehead as he tried to pump as much reiatsu as he possibly could to try and heal her. His eyes suddenly shot open as he began to breathe a bit heavy from slight exhaustion. He could only hope that did the trick somehow.
" Does... That feel better at all ?"

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari's attempts and standing or moving at all were all failures and only caused the girl more pain. She placed her hand on the wound, looking down to see a decent amount of blood spilling from it, along with the slightly burnt area along her uniform. Shaking her head, cursing herself for daring to drop her guard so badly. As she dropped to the floor once more, wincing in an immense amount of pain, she heard someone coming down the alley. She looked up, just in time to see a young boy stopping by her side. She only stared at him, until he asked if she was all right and what had happened to her. Shaking her head in shame, "I let my guard down and a hollow took advantage of it... It hurts to even move it. Kid... what are you doing here? You could get hurt if more come along..." She really did want the boy to go, but his intent on helping her was making him stay. It was sweet. Things like this were the reasons she loved being around kids, no matter how rare it was. Having her arm put around the boys shoulder, she looked to him slightly worried. For a single moment she thought she had felt something, but the pain in her side and leg kept her mind clouded, and the threat of danger left her mind before she even had a chance to question it. She refused to put all her weight onto the boy, although he did help balance her. As the two made it to the bench, Kaminari sat down, gritting her teeth as a sharp pain once again shot through her side and leg. Hearing his words, she tilted her head and gave him a sweet smile, "What are you going to try, hun?" Her question was soon answered. His hands began to glow. She blinked a few times, surprised and impressed at the talent of the young boy. She herself was still just beginning to study a small amount of healing Kidō. Her spiritual pressure was unfortunately not suited well for such things. She felt slightly guilty for having someone so young help her out, but at the moment she only appreciated the kind gesture. She saw that he was really working hard when the strain was shown on his face by a drop of sweat. A small smile appeared once more and soon she felt the pain numbing and the flesh seemed to be healing rather well also. This only impressed her more. As his eyes shot open and he asked about the results, she nodded. Sitting up straighter and moving her leg around, the pain truly had calmed down. Some of it was still there and the flesh had healed a lot, so it was much much better than before, "It... feels great... Thank you. Uh, what's your name?" |

TABRIS |
Must those born of Adam return to Adam? Even though we destroy Man? |
Earth.
A boring place. A place that has changed so much in the thousands of years Tabris had been sealed on the crater of Gaia's child, Luna. The bustling cityscape below him was too set in a rut for Tabris's liking. His job of being an Overseer was all but pointless in a world this orderly. Yes, the city below this silver-haired teenager's floating body was all but chaotic. It may be chaotic in the moment, but everything was repeated day after day. It was purely boring.
Boring.
Boring..
Boring...
Boring....
Tabris's red eyes glanced over the cityscape, focusing on figures sitting, running, smoking, and screwing on the rooftops of some of the low-rise buildings. The one running across the rooftops caught his eye, however. He could not make out her features, but he could definitely tell it was a female or a male smuggling water balloons on his torso. Then, Tabris saw the black mass that was chasing the figure. As there was nothing better to do, Tabris began to float towards the figure and the mass to watch more closely. He saw the figure dart into the alley below, the black mass creeping down behind her.
Then, the black mass shot off a red ene- a Cero. Tabris remembered a Cero's appearance, thanks to him seeing Hollows fight against one another on Earth thousands of centuries ago. Tabris watched as the Cero grazed her leg, followed by a quick slash by the figure. The slash cleaved the Hollow's mask in two. The masked mass quickly dissolved into reishi. Tabris, watching the female squirm in pain, simply stood there on the rooftop above her. He would not intervene, as it was enjoyable to watch unusual events such as that occur.
A small child ran into the alley after hearing her calling for help. This surprised Tabris. Kind people... in a world like this? How surprising. The child helped the woman up and over to some trash, using it as a bench for him to set her down on. Tabris saw the healing of the woman's leg via some sort of magic, which also surprised Tabris. Now this meant it was time for him to introduce himself.
Tabris stepped off of the rooftop, dropping incredibly slowly. It was as if gravity was only working 10% on him. His white shirt and orange undershirt, as well as his pants, made it seem like he was a high school student from the city. However, Tabris was far too old to be so. That and he was pretty much floating on his way down. He reached the alleyway, landing on top of a puddle. However, it did not splash. Tabris was standing on top of the water.
"That's a neat little healing technique you have there, child." |
Tabris smiled at the two of them. His smile was full of warmth... but it was the coldest feeling about him one could imagine. Tabris destroyed cities on a whim when he was bored in the past. Tabris did not have to abide by morals, "God's" rules, or mortal laws. Tabris was his own law. Tabris was his own judge. Tabris was his own jury. Tabris was his own executioner. However, Tabris truly meant no harm to either of these people. Instead, he was only curious as to who and what they were, as well as why the child helped her. Yes, curiosity had struck once more.

Natural compassion. This is something that has been lost to this world, But, Not in everybody. It still harbored itself within some- One of these people being Ketai Tsukuyomi. Ketai's eyes seemingly glowed with happiness as he was looking at the results of what he tried to do. It worked to quite a far extent. Lifting his hands quickly, He ruffled his hair in a excited state, Giggling as he did so. He actually helped someone today, He kinda felt like his dad, Knowing that what he does. A wide smile was plastered on Ketai's face before his ears funneled in what the lady had to say. His name ? Oh yeah. The young shinigami didn't even give a second thought to actually introducing himself, His first instinct was to help her, No matter who she was. Standing up straight with his right hand behind his head, Ketai began to grin before introducing himself.
"Oh! My bad. I'm Ketai! It's nice to meet you... Um... Miss!"
His tone wasn't disrespectful at all, Just an honest young boy finding out more of the world. Ignorance truly is bliss. The smile on the young Tsukuyomi slowly fade to a nonchalant joy, His right hand now scratching the back of his head- Almost perplexed at what he should do next. Then, It presented itself- Or Himself. Another entity showed himself behind Ketai and the Female Shinigami, He looked like a Teenager, White hair- Not that unusual. Ketai's ears caught wind of what The young man said towards him, Ketai Innocently smiles and pivots his body towards him; His Golden eyes looking directly into his, Only innocence so far lays in these eyes- Nothing threatening about it. His own smile reflected back at Ketai.
"Oh ! Thank you- It was nothing really! Um... What's your Name ?!"
Curiosity struck the mind once more through the mind of Ketai Tsukuyomi. It seemed like this day out from studying turned out to be much more eventful then any "TOWER OF POWER". His mind doesn't even register the previous thought of even going to that place. Only a fleeting whim that the overeager Young Shinigami wanted to try out. Life was all about new experiences, Finding new paths- Your own path. But, While he was still young and natural Ignorant, He mind as well enjoy whats around him. Ketai's eyes look down for a moment before noticing his feet in- Or on the puddle of water. Ketai's golden oculars flared up once more before darting them back up at the Young man before inquiring once more;
"That's awesome!! How can you stay so still on the water's surface like that!! Could you teach me ?"
It's true, Ketai doesn't have the greatest ability to soar into the air; Mainly because he isn't able to craft his reiatsu under his feet well enough to stabilize himself from falling. He's always trying and practice makes perfect. So, He wondered if this Man he doesn't even know, is willing to help him or just brush him off.

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari was thankful that such a nice and even talented child had come to her aid. Whether young or not, she was grateful for his help. This all would have more than likely gotten much worse without his appearance. Kaminari could see a sense of pride in the boys eyes as he finished healing her to the best of his abilities, which only made her heart warm. Although he had introduced himself to her, she hadn't replied with anything, keeping herself slightly quiet. She figured if he wanted to know what her names was, that he would ask. Although greatly numbed, the pain was still there. She had a bit of a weakness for children, especially those who still had a pure heart like this boy, Ketai, seemed to have. The innocence in his eyes and in his actions lead her to finally believe that there might actually be some good still left in such a negative world. Suddenly another presence made itself known. She hadn't looked towards the person yet, but once he came closer, she glanced upwards. Of course, she kept herself on her guard, not knowing whether this man was friend or foe, but she still wasn't one to distrust someone right on first sight. As the two spoke to one another, she kept a softened smile on her face, listening as Ketai kindly asked the stranger his name. Kaminari looked up to this stranger and awaited an answer. When remembering the feeling she had felt earlier, she soon wondered whether this man was the cause of it. Tilting her head to look at him, listening to the excited child compliment the man, she narrowed her eyes in curiosity at him. "Ketai..." she said softly, "You just met the man now. Don't you think you two should get to know each other before you ask him to do anything?" She said it rather sweetly, more in a motherly way if anything. She didn't want to come across as rude towards the child, but at the same time, she didn't want Ketai getting ahead of himself. With that, she sort of pushed herself to her feet, struggling to continue standing as a pain shot through her side. Taking a deep breath to endure it, she stepped over and back into the alley, picked up her Zanpakutō, sheathed it and returned to the child's side. |

TABRIS |
Tabris stepped off of the puddle of dingy water beneath his feet and onto the concrete of the alleyway. The boy was in awe of Tabris. No, the child was in awe of the ability called Satnam. Satnam allowed for Tabris to control how gravity affected him. Of course, this couldn't make him control the gravity around him, but rather the interaction he had with gravity. Tabris smiled more at this boy's curiosity.
His voice, so calm and smooth, was filled with faux kindness. The man who could cause death in an instant to either of these off-guard warriors simply turned towards the female. His hands, save for his thumbs, were inside of his black pants' pockets.
Tabris took a step closer to them. Of course, he did not release any Reiatsu. A being such as him did not have Reiatsu. Closer to a Demon than any other race, Tabris was a strange being. Created to make sure Earth never got too far out of control, Tabris was known as an Overseer. Of course, that title was gone after he was sealed on the moon. This odd feeling was his Metu Ager. Metu Ager surrounds Tabris constantly. Its abilities... well, it's better to let them be hidden until one sees it in action.
"You know, I wish I could teach you how to do this. However, it's not something that can be learned. It's something of mine." |

"I see your leg isn't hurting that much, as you're already standing back up. Or rather... that's what you'd like us to think. Healing of that caliber can only retie the connections like tape. Eventually, it will lose its ability to stick and will peel away. But I'm rambling now, aren't I? Silly me. Now, the young man over there... your name is Ketai, correct? What is your name, miss? I think it would only be 'proper' as some say to introduce yourself first." |

"Awwww..."
That soft sound escaped Ketai's lips as he was dealt with the news of that he couldn't do what this man was doing by floating above the water. With his shoulders sinking in a ever fleeting moment of disappointment, Ketai smiled wide before shrugging his shoulders slowly. He placed his hands behind his head in a nonchalant embrace, the strains of his hair beginning to get entangled in his fingers. Ketai then turns his head towards the female shinigami- Noticing that she was standing. Another satisfied look of accomplishment flew over his face. The female shinigami was now at Ketai's side as He funneled in all of the words he had to say. His eyes softened a little bit before he gave his rebuttal towards her.
"But, It looked so cool- I just had to ask."
The air of naivety was thick around Ketai at the time being, When not in a compromising situation, He can be a massive airhead. He didn't know what the mans plans were, or if he was good or evil. He only cared for what was in front of him, and that was two people he just met randomly. Anyway, Who would attack a kid this adorable for no reason what so ever ? But, Digressing to a later point, Ketai spun around before listening to Tabris acknowledge him and the female beside him. He also took a step closer which kinda made Ketai question quickly in his head, But, didn't pay any mind to it. OH yeah. Ketai didn't even get Her name, Nor his. He didn't answer Ketai's inquiry about his name. Gaining another curious look over his face, Ketai placed his right hand over his chin in a pondering mannerism; Looking back and forth from Tabris to Kaminari.
"Yeah, What are your guys names... I've the only one who's actually introduced themselves."

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari eyes narrowed at the man before her once hearing his statements about what she 'wanted' them to think. "I wan't hiding my pain, nor was I trying to make anyone think any different about the wound. I can't say I was going to leave my sword in a random alley in the middle of the city." Kaminari glanced down to the child next to her. She immediately changed her look and smiled towards him, "I know it looked cool. It's a rather interesting ability." Kaminari did agree that the ability was cool, especially from a child's point of view. She wasn't being sarcastic or just saying it to agree with the boy, but actually did agree. As the man took a step closer, Kaminari raised her guard right back to where it originally was. The point of his stepping forward, she did not know. Back to what he had said before stepping forward though. "And explain to me how it would be proper to introduce myself to you first, when you were the one who approached us first?" It was probably not the best idea to speak to someone she had no idea the strength of in such a manner, but she was going to take her chance. It wasn't a big deal. Seeing that the child wished to know her name as well, she would tell it. "Anyways..." she said looking down to Ketai, "My name is Kaminari." Once again, she spoke in more of a motherly voice. It wasn't an accident that she kept her last name from either of their knowledge, although mainly because of the strange man that insisted she should introduce herself first. Kaminari didn't think a child would really care too much about knowing the last names of people, only the first to have something to call them. |
