Personality: Ventus, unlike his human self, has a more quiet disposition. He's thoughtful and reflective, and doesn't seem to be much of a doer. He does have the tendency to over think, which makes moments in which he could act pass. He seems to be better off left alone unlike most. He also has the emotional connection with people that he feels comfortable with : which surprisingly, is nearly everyone. Ventus doesn't really judge people, but does what he can to get the job done. Efficient and pensive, he has an innate ability to sense when someone lies to him. Generally, he's a sweet heart, but most people tend to feel a bit distant from him. Preferring to remain vague and twinker with his hobbies, he yearns for someone to truly understand him.

History: Ventus was born on a farm to his mum and dad. He always worked on it, and didn't seem to be much interested in the outer world. He was a smiling, happy kid, always doing his best to help others. Even when his mother was terribly sick, he did all that he could : even taking over the house duties to let her rest. He did accidentally turn his dad's socks pink that day, but they were both grateful to their hard working son. In general, he was just a happy kid, and didn't have many friends because of how distant the farm was. But the few friends he did had, a cheerful girl and her brother, were truly loyal. They did everything together : so when her brother discovered he had powers, they told Ventus right away. He was happy, and encouraged him to train, which he did.

So when a hollow came to devour the three whilst they were playing, it paid off. The brother managed to fend it off, and the other two were really happy. But that had been a low class hollow : within seconds, Ventus felt sick. Looking down, he saw a claw out of his chest, and he harshly shoved the girl away, telling the brother to run. Afraid, they did so, running towards Ventus' house, her screaming. His parents, hearing the screams, came out to see the creature rip their son's soul out. In seconds, the father had popped a pill and was racing, shinigami robes around him. Defeating the hollow, he cursed, as the chain of fate had snapped.

Both father and mother said their goodbyes, as the boy was sent to soul society. Unfortunately, the snapping of the chain of fate, and the state of unconscious in which he arrived, had caused a memory blank. Alone and aimless, Ventus wandered the streets of the Rukongai with just his name. Eventually, he got hungry, and was ushered into the Academy, where he finally had something to work towards to. Putting all of his energy into it, Ventus graduated, and is slowly becoming a noteworthy shinigami. At one point, he had phantom tech installed, but hasn't really delved into it as of yet.
