Orochi -Rebirth mix- [Closed]

A dark and desolate wasteland. Earth charred black, trees colored black and long dead. Occasionally one would see patches of land in its original state, alive and with some life. This was the outskirts of Orochi's territory. And walking along the desolate landscape was none other than the Serpent King himself. Newly resurrected, he went to observe the land. He hadn't walked this Earth since he was imprisoned millenia ago. His only goal was to test the might of the warriors of this Earth, and to show his own strength.

His philosophy was that those not strong enough to survive will simply be pounded into dust. He stopped as he waited. Waited to see if a warrior who might best him would arrive. Whether one did or not was of no concern. He sat down on the ground laying his Scythe beside him. A few of his soldiers came up beside him and handed him some wine. Even the Serpent King indulged himself from time to time. His soldiers were humanoid. They were the size and build of a human, however they had the scaly gray skin of a serpent. Of coarse they were only a little stronger than a human. Not that it mattered, their only use was forcing the villages in his territory into submission.

Orochi himself was rather large. He was over 6 feet tall and was not lean in the least. His skin was a scaly gray. He wore armor that's outside resembled a serpents skin. The back of which split into two, as if there were two serpent tails. His scythe was brutally large. The blade alone was as almost as long as Orochi was tall. The handle was even longer than that. As he sat sipping wine, he sensed an approach. the approach of a strong warrior. Standing up he watched and waited.

Everything held a strong resemblance charcoal. Including its fragile nature-- everything seemed to be slowly dissolving here. The trees, the building, even the ground was a sloshy black dust that reminded on of fuel....But what could one expect from a wasteland?

Redd trotted along-- in no way concealing his spiritual pressure-- no he wanted them to know he was coming His reiatsu flared about his being- a Reddish aura that was bathed in an outline of white. As if the sun had been shining from behind a blood Red cloud. He'd noticed the purple skinned monster from afar. He shouted out to him as he moved in closer and closer.
"I guess I should stop beating around the bush huh?"
Redd shunpoed forward, now no more than 20 feet from the malicious looking male before him. speaking in a sarcastic manner as if he was a 4th grade teacher asking one of his students to present themselves.
"And who might you be pray tell?"
His demeanor changed instantly-- no longer a jokey laugh-a-lot character but someone who's voice was stern, but soft... calm.
" My name is Red Tseuken, now whats your business here?"

His brown skin-- slightly touched with beige, popped in the black surroundings, thought not much more than the whites of his eyes. His entire body gleamed with the Reddish-tinge that was his aura. Had one been paying enough attention to detail they would have noticed the black and gold embroided hilt that stuck up over his right shouler by only a few inches-- no more than 5 or 6. Redd donned a grey t-shirt than hung on his frame-- weightless. His legs were shrouded in a pair of black pants that belonged to that of a karate uniform-- a Gi is what it was formaly known as. His legs became a blur as me stepped a few feet closer-- moving in an arc as he neared the person he'd been sensing all along. If not for his shoes-- which were also black exept for the white trimming that was on them-- from afar he oculd have been mistaken for a half of a flying specter.

As Redd turned his right side towards the male his zanpaktou was clearly visible-- it stretched to a length of about three and a half feet. Its slim Redd casing keeping the blade hidden from view-- a single black stripe that covered 6 inches of the sheaths length starting at the one foot line. Redd had been looking the man up and down, sizing him up . And he was sure the man had been doing the same.

" Odd how vermin consider themselves lords"
He scoffed-- Your time had come.

Orochi observed the strange individual in front of him. The man had an aura around him, so he wasn't just some weakling. The idea that he might be a worthy opponent intrigued him. He was not from this era, but he had heard of its technological advancements. The warriors of this age would, naturally, seem odd in his eyes. The thing he found most odd was the hair, it seemed rather humorous to him.

Odd how vermin consider themselves lords.

Orochi found himself mildly amused at the prospect.

The warriors of this era seem awfully confident. Can you back up your words? Will you be the warrior to finally end me?

Orochi picked up his large Scythe. He wanted to get a bearing on this Redd. He looked back at the small group of soldiers he had with him.

Go, and attack the one that stands before me.

Orochi expected the 4 soldiers he sent forth to be slaughtered. They were only a little stronger than the average human. The speed at which they were slain would give him a bearing on his opponents strength. So he stood and watched while the 4 soldiers, all holding swords in hand, rushed forth. In the mean time he charged a ball of fire in his hand and threw it, having it fly past the soldiers and at the man. Orochi hadn't put much into the fire, but it would suffice for the moment. Meanwhile he began to charge up energy. His body began to glow with a Dark Red and Black Aura.

Note: The soldiers are basically tier 5-1, so they are nothing. any description you need is in the WIP section under Orochi Soldier.

Redd reached over his back with his right hand gripping the hilt of his sword-- ever so slowly drawing it. He did little more than cock an eyebrow as the thing before him ordered a few other..errr.. things to attack him. He couldn't sense a significant amount of power from any of them. But it wouldn't have been smart for him to blatantly underestimate them. Redd shunpoed towards the closes one-- already having his sword arm cocked back he swung his right arm forwards towards the mid-section of this creature allowing his sword to move through half of its torso before he dis-appeared again behind the one who had been originally farthest from him. He'd risen his foot spinning as he did so to face said creatures back-- kicking it forward into one of the other two. Redd turned again to face the male who was calling the shots calmly walking forward He'd barley broken a sweaton those three-- and while only one was dead he concluded that they wouldn't be attacking him anymore if they had any wits about them.
The fire ball had flown into nowhere already long forgotten. Redd was now only 8 feet away from this demon. He clicked his tounge a few times, shaking his head as he did so.
What a pity how you sacrafice your subordinates like that...
Redd turned his head to view the, now deceased carcass of a snake man that laid not 10 feet behind him.
"And I had even named that one too... snakey"
He turned back to the demonic looking male, with a grin plastered on his already humorous face.
" You really are going to have to do better than that if you want to defeat me"
"This may mean nothing to you... in fact im sure it dosn't... I am Redd Tseuken Vice captain of the 2nd Division and you are an abomination...
He brought his sword arm upwards to point the tip of his zanpaktou

Orochi listened as the man repeated his name and proceeded to announce his rank. Redd was right, his rank meant nothing to Orochi. All that Orochi cared about was if his opponent had might. Anything else was irrelevant. Orochi lifted his scythe up into position before suddenly disappearing, leaving a phantom-like silhouette in his place. He reappeared behind Redd and brought down his scythe with great force.

Those soldiers mean absolutely nothing to me. They are simply expendable. The only thing that matters to me is strength. Those not strong enough to survive will be pounded into dust. This applies to them, you, and even me. The question is, will you be the one to finally bring about my end?

Orochi then began to charge energy. He moved up to Redd once more, this time swinging his Scythe, dark demonic energy burst forth from his body all around him. It was a dark surge of red and black. It was a violent release of energy that would be painful if Redd found himself caught in it. Finally Orochi fired off several orbs of demonic energy at Redd, all moving at incredible speeds. Orochi stood, even more of his power resonating than before. The glow around him had become much more prominent. The aura had taken on a more violent look as well. Orochi stood watching to see how the vice captain would respond.

Note: When he released a burst of energy around him it isn't too large, probably 2 meters in radius.

Redd Reached his left hand upward-- gripping the sythe by its polt/hilt area. The object was stopped cold a good two feet above his headHe proceeded to push the sythe towards the left side of him letting his arm fall. This would then cause it to hit the floor as he spun in a clockwise direction-- sticking his leg out as he did so he would have the struck the male in his mid-section with the back of his heel and a small portion of his calve.

Redd sense a slight increase in reiatsu energy as The male moved in closer.

"Bakudo 39 ! Enkosen!
A translucent fan of reiatsu appeared in the front of Redd-- in began rotating at an incredible speed- as the explosion occured the black energy was disursed as it reached the likes of Redd, who continued moveing backwards from the male in case his Kidō shield failed to uphold.

Small circular shots came forwards-- easily avoided due to Redds speed but due to thier numbers was hit once. He flew backwards landing onto the ground a few meters from his original position-- this orb had struck him in his abdomen on the lower left side of his stomach. Redd hand landed onto his back, though he quickly rolled over, sitting up as he did so.
A ball of energy about the size of ones head had been forming in front of his open palm. It held the color of Redd being slightly see through.
"Hadō 31, Shakkaho. Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!
A He spoke the ball of energy that was originally only about four times larger than his hand began to swell... A method he'd learned from the Infamous Kukaku shiba-- the incantation was said after the spell had already been casted to increase the power of it-- of course Redd didn't need the incantation in the first place so its original power would have been double by this.

The second he finished his last word a pillar of Redd fire shot from in front of him, creating a staticy explosion that didn't sound real as if it had been shot from a lazer gun but much deeper sounding. It was about Three feet in radius. He moved is hand in an arc in front of him slowly at about mid- height-- Thus down playing its damage but making it harder to avoid. Upon contact this would cause concussive as well as heat damage due to that fact that the blast was made up of fire

Orochi watched at one of the orbs hit Redd. Despite the hit Redd got back up and seemed mostly unharmed. Orochi was pleased by this, he never liked dealing with weaklings. Then he heard Redd call out the name of a spell and begin to chant some form of incantation. The strange opponent had a ball of fire in his hand that began to enlarge itself. Once finished, a large blast of fire shot out at Orochi. The Shinigami arced it to make it harder to dodge, however that meant it would do slightly less damage. Orochi gauged the attack quickly and decided it would be better in the long run to not waste stamina in a dodge attempt. The attack was weak enough so that it wouldn't matter if it hit. Orochi raised his scythe in front of him and turned it so its blade blocked a portion of his body. The fire bashed into him with great force. A portion of it was blocked by his scythe, so there was minimal damage. Orochi wasn't a glass cannon, he could take a hit.

Orochi raised up left arm once more. Out of his hand shot three more fast moving fireballs. Orochi then ran forward, during which he shot a blast of electricity out of his hands, before finally swinging his Scythe with even greater force than the previous time. If Redd had chosen to block his scythe again, he planned on shooting an ice shard from his hand at Redd's chest.

Redd vanished, shunpoing to his left about 17 feet. The small pole of lightning moving so fast that it surprised him. He swung his sword in a circle by the thread stemming from the bottom of his zanpaktou -- allowing it to absorb this energy blast as the thin pillar of electricity reached him he let go of the small piece of string-- his zanpaktou still spinning in the air before him for a few seconds.

His blade stopped as it hit the ground-- becoming lodging into the soft sand like earth-- the electricity thus being distributed evenly throughout the ground. This had caused him a minimal shock and hurt about as much as a static shock from a slide would.
Redd then shunpoed backwards just a few feet out of range as the monster swung his sythe with such great killing intent that it whistled slightly as it flew through the air.

Redd was already sure that a battle with someone like this would be childsplay had he been fighting with full resolve-- but he concluded a Kidō training was in order and that was exactly what he planned to do.

"Bakudo 33 Shitotsu Sansen...
His voice blew over in a calm way asa yellow energy was elicted from his palm, along with a small crackling sound.
He then traced out an inverted triangle with this energy-- small triangular pillar forming at each of its three points. Following this redd shoved the ball of golden Kidō through the middle causeing the triangle to shoot forward at the male-- at this range not even a move like flash step could help him escape. The three pillars would have stuck into his shoulders and torso- not creating any physical damage but instead causeing him to shoot backwards.
The point of this Kidō was to pin ones enemy to any surrounding behind them. but seeing as there were none the demon would only be shot backwards-- unable to stop himself until the Kidō was destroyed.
Redd smiled to himself-- perfect. he spoke fast-- some of his words matching the earlier incantantion as he spoke
"Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hadō 33 So-kat-sui!

Tendrils of electricity letps from Redd's hands as he spoke-- being light blue in color. This electricity then transformed itself into fire-- exploding from the outstretched palm of Redd. A wave a blue fire came blazing towards the demonic male. This was essentially the same attack as shakkaho only stronger and covering a wider radius. stretching horizontally to be about 8 feet and verticly 12. .

Orochi found himself mildly impressed with the actions Redd had taken. Though he didn't have much time to be impressed as suddenly he was struck by 3 pins of energy and sent hurdling back. With nothing to get stuck to the demon found himself mildly amused that he would just fly back indefinitely. He then heard Redd speaking the incantation of another spell. Is that all?

The demon bent his elbow so that his hand faced forward. He then released a burst of energy around him similar to the one he used before, putting more energy in it than previously, just enough to smash the pillars off his shoulders. Due to the speed at which he had flown back combined with the full spoken incantation by Redd, he had just enough time to use his phantom movement to get out of the way of the blast he saw shoot out of Redd's hand. Orochi could already tell this fight was far from over as neither side was feeling fatigued as of yet, though Orochi had strained a bit in breaking out of the Bakudo. He liked it better that way. He looked at his left side, he hadn't realized at first but the left side of him had been struck by the attack. He ran back at Redd and swung his scythe with great force. Though it looked as if he meant to cause damage, it was merely a distraction. In his other hand he charged a rather large orb of demonic energy and launched it at Redd putting as much speed on it as possible. Then he created shards of ice and launched them at Redd. While Redd dealt with the attack, Orochi stood smiling.

The ground crystallized where The Kidō had struck-- turning to charcoal like sand into a glass like state. The demon had moved out of the way only just in time to have not been mortally wounded by this. But upon Redd getting a good look at him he would notice that the left side of his body had been completely flayed. Small flakes of skin threatened to do swan dives off of the monsters body-- and he STILL wouldn't go down yet.

A tuft of air was release from Redd's nose accompanying the sound of a singular laugh.
"Feeling a little strained are we? And what a shame-- all I've used is Kidō"
Redd voice ha been second to the sound of the "schu schu schu" as the demon lord moved in on him.

Redd raised his right hand moving it in an arc above him-- He'd put such a great force in this action that The sythe would have been knocked from the monsters hands-- due to the males immense strength-- easily out classing that of Orochi's.
Bakudo 8 , Seki!
A blueish orb of light appeared about the size of a fist just in front of Redd's upper right shoulder-- reflecting the orb of energy back at The demon before him-- giving him no clear option of escape, this would have cause him to be thrown back be his own attack Redd leaped backwards a few times creating a small distance between the two that spanned to about 10 feet.
" Is there a fly breathing on me..?.... It feels like a fly is breathing on me..."
