Dreams Belong to the Cherished {Private}
Tue Jun 12, 2012 9:36 am
It was many hundreds of years ago at this point. The woman known as Koishi was in a hospital, smiling pleasantly as she held a puke container open, letting an elderly lady puke into the bucket. She threw it out later, as was part of the job here. Washing her hands, she walked back to help console the same old woman. She was afraid, as she sometimes gets when she thinks too much on what ails her.
"...It's okay. It's going to be okay. Here, hold my hand. I'll stay with you until you fall asleep, okay?" She smiled at the frail woman, sitting by her bedside. She was a stranger, honestly. Koishi didn't even know her name. It didn't change that she wanted to help her. That was her job here, after all. The old woman's hand felt frail and limp in hers.
Koishi didn't even have her seishin buki at that point. She held the hand of the patient and closed her eyes, concentrating. Concentrating hard. Sleep peacefully. Sleep kindly. Drift in dreams where your fears couldn't reach. When she opened her eyes, the elderly woman had drifted to the world of dreams. She let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding. The angel Iramasha got up and began to leave. She waved goodbye to her friends and her co-workers, smiling and happy.
"I'll see everyone again soon! Please be careful Dr. Samizou! Ah, Ms. Gray, please attend to Patient 106A, he tends to wake up at night and throw fits. Goodnight everyone! See you all tomorrow! " She smiled brightly and waved them all off, packing her things and leaving the hospital. It was hard, but fulfilling work. She'll be heading home now. It was dark and the streets were empty. Some say a girl walking on her own at this hour would be unsafe. But... she wasn't worried.

In a world of pain.. , Why was I stuck so long ago.. stuck where everyone and everything would not reach me…. It was awhile ago, the year to date was 2900.. Or roughly around there. And everything and I mean everything.. was behaving like it had turned utterly to shit. The world had seemed full of death full of sin and catastrophy.. It was a world where everything had been gone and everything had been changed. So the world had kept moving.. kept growing.. But what was the purpose of growing if you where not to breath as you grew..
He had the world taken from under him.. but this world itself.. even now had become something which was different.. and alien.. But why did the world which he knew had to have changed to much.. ?.. Well it was hard to say in fact what changed or more importantly. What had broken inside him… It was hard to know.. and hard to tell why the world which changed had done so. . But it was what it was..
On this particular day naru naru had been walking down the street. Looking for something to do and something or more importantly.. the missing piece of his life.. which had brought it to its knees.. it was hard to say how.. or even why.. But it was what it was.. That is all that happened. .. .and now he walked.. in down town karakura.. looking for something.. which would put his broken view of reality together again.

Koishi wandered downtown karakura. It was unusual for an Angel Iramasha like her. But if she remained in the same place day after day she's go a little nuts. Ah well, it didn't really matter. No one could see her here. She smiled openly, breathing in the scent of the night around her. It felt good and she felt good. It was there she found a stranger, wandering around. She wondered what he might be thinking, what his own reasons were for being out here in this time of night.
Well, maybe he was a human, and maybe she couldn't be seen by him. But if he was troubled, she could help... or at the very least, she could try her best to help! "Good Evening~" She spoke in a gentle singsong, confident and welcoming to anyone who needed someone to rely on, even if it was just for a moment. If he couldn't hear her, then it would be unfortunate and she would continue on her way. Perhaps, if he could hear her, they could talk about things in the night. The darkness provided a great illusion of privacy.

... Who are you.. ?..
.....
This was the only answer, which even itself was not much of one. From the way it was said albiet, it used the most context it could in it; saying many things at once without giving out to much. one of the cryptic remarks you might find from a mad scientist or a zoologist. But still, it was a answer was it not?.. As to or from.. the context of his body language.. he probably did seem distraught but for the general scheme of the whole matter. He was far from it, to the point it might have made him laugh on any other ocassion. Just.. in the way, or well the mannerism of his self reflection.. the knowledge he gleaned..; not suprising sadly. Was not something which was going to cheer him up. So.. he thought it best.. to allow one in.. to show them the sadness the madness the FUCKING pain he felt.., luckily due to how he had a very unique bond with his spirits.. he was able to bring her in .. by turning around and doing something as mundane.. or as.. simple as touching her. His pad of his index finger pressed to her forehead as he spoke.
"It would be much easier for me to just show you.. "..
And there they went.. through to where it all began.. well the memory that was known about him. .. Right to the very.. very beginning.. Day one..
It was the year 300 ad, it was a crystal clear night one that was common in the gotai thirteen. Simpe errands where being ran through out the area. Everything being quiet . Now suddenly alarms blared , Exploading everywhere, . First people stopped in confusion, before pandimonium just broke loose. people ran, in dissaray, as they had been in utter fear,. The captians yelling for there, men to become orderly and contained. These members where frightened from the Arrancar that had been sited, Being as they where not normal at all even in how they seemed. since this one inflicted terror on everyone around like a disease that needed to be contained. Naru Naru Pulled out his kantana, and got ready to fight. Though this decided unknown to naru naru ,His fate for the futures to come. Naru Naru, rushed out to meet the attackers, Though now seeing how powerless we where agenst them. Not even putting scratches at all on them, No matter how hard we tryed. His amazingly thick hide making it utterly impossible. It was pitifull even our head captian could do nothing. Right before my eyes, the captian was cut down, Blood spraying everywhere in violent array. Comrades exploading everywhere, from huge cero's that seemed to fly everywhere in a insane pace, that no one could seem to match. Naru naru and the remaining people fought back, As hard as they could to no avail. After two years went by .Naru Naru, he launched forward trying to strike at the male arrancar but before he could even get nere, As a female arrancar, slammed her boot into him, after delivering a series of cuts. Blood spattering out of his mouth and ribs, as a huge dust cloud formed from where he had fallen. now slowly diing , His eyes began to close. Naru naru's will is what changed him that day though. waking up something deep inside him, though not enough to completely release it. For now this energy, was enough to begin to sustain him, while fallig . His eyes slid shut. The world going completely black.

400 AD THE AFTER MATH
Slowly Naru Naru's eyes slid open, looking around slightly, getting accustomed to the light that was thick with smoke and debri, of decaying life forms, and rubble from the after math of the war. The sickening stentch that followed was almost enough to make Naru Naru's form bend over and wretch up everythign that he had in his stomache. Ribs hurting ,and body racked with pain , Naru naru began to get up slowly, his mouth slick with blood still, after resting for one hundred years. Though his blade seemed to be changed at the hilt, Being much more elaborate and , cross peace, On the kantana. His heart feeling almost like it was being eaten away slowly at some force , which sickened him to his very core. like a hollow. This idea was absurd to him thought. Shakin the idea off naru naru, Began to pick his way around the huge, landscape which seemingly , never ended. Bodys which where in different stages of decomposition strewn acrost, the mine feild of rubble and oulders. Blood running from there veins of the wounded that is. The sickness slowly day by day getting worse, and he picked his way around for 100 years .Looking for any suvivores, Though at the end his heart hurt so bad that it was a never ending torcher for Naru Naru.

500 AD DIABLO AND DRAGON FANG.
Now a figure that was black as night came out, becoming Naru naru forward almost, Though curiously, naru naru naturally followed. Before he knew it the whole area began to feel like it was changing, Blackened exspanses forming around, him As the land scape itself dissapeared, sloly but surely, two forms now having formed, Instead, one being a huge dragon like hollow, The one that was cloaked in a lininen cloak being much smaller, Before his voice came out in a decent deep tone, speaking to Naru naru. "Do you accept us as we have you for a long time. we needed you to wake up. "
Naru naru replied "Course i do" Now, a new power seemingly rushing into naru naru, as this startled him he talked to both of them slowly, in a meditative like manner as they seemingly conversed. debating they learned things about one another with a respectfull interest. Him being a strange zampuckto.. He learned though this being long ago. Known as devils moon, or Akuma Tsuki, Was the one with the linen cloak, slowly at this point, the foundations of the seiretey had been built around his form, which had been hidden under a rubble pile which they did not bother to move or change. Unlike others instead of Exploring, Naru Naru would spend the next 1000 years or so training. With his only two freinds, he would work with them together.

LOSES Kidō IN speed training
it had been one hundred years since he had first entered his own inner world. Now the two that where his zampukto and hollow began to push naru naru's Speed. Naru Naru ran, with Diablo or Akuma Tsuki chasing on his heels in fast presuit, for this was his inititiative to speed up, and not get caught .Since t now, When diablo caught him, he would Be kicked hard and true, the force slamming him through a building in his inner world. Naru Naru got no rest though he had to get up, and continue to run faster and faster. Never able to slow down, or he would be kicked merselessly , through a building, This was a exercise his inner zampukto Akuma Tsuki or Diablo though of to push his speed and improve it to make it much much faster . Maximizing, the speed he could use, in his normal form, just for being able to keep this in his shikai, and be able to get the most out of his shikai, But for this he had many years of training before he was granted a shikai. But he aswell had much more bonding to do before he could even use shikai aswell . Bruises began after awhile to form on naru naru .But naru naru never stopped being chased by Diablo, Slurs issuing from Diablo's lips. These being intended to Speed Naru Naru up, and it workec causing him to slowly .Build in speed and , Somehow always dug inside himself to push faster when ever Diablo seemingly was begginning to catch up, This also was building up his speed and durability. Because he had to be able to sustain these speeds for a very very long time or it would be impossible, For him to really use his shikai to its best capabilities . Now, while he began to get faster, and more durable, this allowed his hollow and zampucto to actually pour more of there power into him. But soon Naru naru Got pretty quick using jutting rubble from the previous loops to press off causing himself, to move like the wind, dust filling the air like a contininual torcher. Slowly, he needed to get better before he could attempt his shikai.

700 AD SWORD WORK :
now just after finishing his speed training he got no break, being forced now to do, Sword work, being tossed a sword, Diablo rushing naru naru now, with a endless stream of attacks, Each time, he missed it would send him flying back into a wall because of the force of the flat side of the blade. Causing him, to crash through a building. Now, as he slowly got up ,Diablo Assaulted naru naru, With , another stream of , assaulting blows, which rained in on him from all sides .Each time, the forces shatterig bone and causing intesne pain to form in his ribs ,And other places. Naru Naru Now, gritting his teeth began to see a pattern in the onslaught of blows which never ever seemed to end a frontal slash coming at him. Before naru naru's natural reflex's began to get into speed, blade flicking around to parry, before Naru Naru kicked out sending diablo through a wall , Before now coming forward to test Diablo with a counter onslaught of slashes whih seemed to continue on forever, as it went back and forth .Constantly, one gaining the upper hand suddenly before then the other would make a come back, honing his blading skills took time, but, Slowly but surely. he actually began to Get extremely Used with the Sword in his hand causing it to flick in and out with parries.

barra training from Dragon fang.
This day naru naru got a new teacher. His other sitting back in a Throne like chair getting ready to actually, Watch this new fight ,as the massive dragon like hollow flicked its tail out, Producing a Huge bara which slammed into Naru who could not produce a strong enough barra, causing him to Blast into a wall . His form now groaning while Naru naru got up, looking up at the massive hollow. Which now, he began to focus on his reitsu, before firing a blast back , the result being just a weak bara which did hardly any damage if any at all, Working more and more though over a set period of time, causing it to began to build in power, and , Accuracy, as he slowly over time was able to , begin to build up, more power and reitsu, so that he could actually blast more bara's. Aswell as when he only started out, being able to produce maybe 2 bara's now, he could stream out many of them, after he began to exhange flurried blows with his hollow Companion, causing explosions to light up the sky, . Before now, Naru Naru pressed himself even harder, slowly before long being able to kick out bara's from he feet aswell, which was a most interesting trait for him in his opinion. This is because not only does he have the ability to use bara's This aswell ,is from the uncanny nack of , being able to shoot bara's from his feet since in his bankai, he has no use of his hands. Now, the bara's began booming back and forth in the sky, like a dangerous game of dancing, and fire works. Alowwing for a deafening booming sound to emit from the area around him.

playing with fire.
Naru naru, had began to notice , that in his shikai state heat had began to rise up around him in a dangerously , hot manner .First being hardly noticable, the more used to shikai he got. The seemingly more potent it was, at first though it was hardly a flame once a day .But slowly now, the wind blowing around, he concentrated alone, working on cultivating that flame through holding it longer and longer .The periods that he could do this though .As he began to slash down .Creating flaming weak cresent projectiles, each seemingly leaving him drained. Naru Naru vowed though he would get much stronger, so little by little day by day, he threw more and more of these flames in his inner world . Using the break that His teachers gave him to train harder .To perfect this particular skill. Now naru naru, watched the billowing flames and craters he had caused, watching before letting the flame once more roar up aroudn him, in a hap hazard manner .This time he waited and waited. But something inside him seemed to have opened, the flames now ,Being rising in potency, and ferocity, to cover him in a cloak Of which he did not know how it got there. But all the same he just grinned, allowing himself to embrace this new flame, Forcing it out around him testing truelly how far it would go . Over all though he then flicked his blade down .The wind causing naru naru's blade to his before a raging cresent projectile flung from the confines of his blade. This now scorching the ground, soon causing it to harden like glass. This perplexed Naru Naru for some time, before he decided not to care. some things where just better unknown in his opinion and so thats how it stayed. Unknown and out of mind, which was a releif for Naru Naru to be truthfull.

Reistu building
So that naru naru could keep up multiple things at once, Slowly diablo, meditated with naru naru, showing him how he could build his reitsu by doing this .Teaching naru naru, how to build onto his reitsu using this technique, now Naru Naru grinned some the light dimming and changing around him, in odd fashions, while he closed his eyes breathing in deeply , allowing for the air to fill his lungs, While he meditated.
The power and basic nature of this meditation allowing soon for his reitsu to begin to climb more and more .Though not to the point it was over flowing .Because of the power that would be collected within him .
Most of all though this allowed him time to reflect and think about what would happen when he actually got back to the real world, But things always seemed to go away once he meditated for long enough .A sense of ease covering around him like a forest surrounding him. this allowing him to gather his thoughts much more easily , So that he could figure out what he was going to do once this was over. But now, he had a long good time to become composed, And figure out what to do.
Slowly it was growing within naru naru .His reistu was before he simply ,allowed it to close within him, this time, dragon fang and diablo, was actually pouring there energy within him, allowing for his own to increase alot, while causing the three of them to fuze in reitsu, this causing a perfect unity between them which would help in the following years to come. but now he closed his eyes, years passing while he meditated, before waking up, his skills still sharp as knives though from the hundreds of years they where ingrained within him.

1600-MODERN DAY AD.
FARE WELLS.
Naru naru had learned all he could from them for now, Causing, a need for farewells but now , as naru naru, seemingly, looked out at them curiously. not knowing what the bad mood they where in was about .Sadly though soon it dawned on him, ,as he sighed, looking, at them before slowly, he saw that, it was something, that was inevitable, so now, He sighed lookin around before he began to stride off, waving . Though naru naru's fare well gift was actually his bankai and ressurection. So now he had smiled, Nodding his fare wells, He began to slowly wake himself up, the force of it, causing this to take 600 years slowly. of hard work, being he was so long aleep, his blood beginning to flow around, his form slowly, now wakign up bones and slowly his muscles aswell began to wake up, before long now, his eyes slowly slid open, a strange light, opening up above him, as Naru Naru got up, shakign his head, before walking up towards the surface. The sky being blue as he remebered it .But he had to leave this place.. The gotai 13, was not.. his home anymore.. So now.. a door slowly opened up, Causing a portal to somewhere different, a land under the sky to open up . Now not hesitating he got into it, apearing in the world of the living once more.
And this is where the modern story begins . The next chapter. wonder what will happen.

The answer to her was small and simple, and yet it spoke so much. It was his tone, his gaze, his mannerism of which he spoke that Koishi picked up on. She tried to hide the fact that he had surprised her. It was rather silly, of course. She had spoken to him. She alone had garnered his attention purposefully. Did she hope somehow that he wouldn't notice her? A silly assumption, yes... but it didn't deny that she had assumed it. She was guilty of her self-brought surprise.
And yet her surprise was nothing compared to the shock she felt within the moment following. He said nothing more than wondering who she was before reaching over and touching her. It was strange for a stranger to suddenly breach that limit of touching. Koishi had half a mind to back away, tell him he was overstepping his boundaries as a stranger. Oddly enough she didn't and just let it happen. In a way, it was her stupid trust. She trusted people, and believed that people wouldn't harm her unless otherwise told. It was, really, her trust that got her in the end.
So the stranger touched the Iramasha's skin. She didn't know what exactly happened then. Her consciousness was pushed aside temporarily and she ceased to be. Where the empty space that was Koishi, the man's fingers pressed into her a different and more brutal humanity. A tale of joy and companionship, but also a story of loneliness and violence. Koishi's gaze to the man became distant and unfocused as the reality around her disappeared.
She was holding a sword, now. Hollow loomed around her. People were frightened. People were hurt. Her captain, no, his captain, fought with strength and valor. All the valor in the world, all the honor and the talk of a warrior's pride, where was it now? The Captain's blade did not a scratch to the mindless beasts. Their brute strength destroyed the valor and the order of the Soul Society. Something struck her. The world faded to another, deeper blackness than it did before.
How long had it been? Koishi was awake again. The first thing that was upon her was the stench of death. She would never forget the smell, even though it was not her own memory. The hospital she worked at always had hints of it in corners where the sterile chemicals couldn't quite reach... but that was nothing compared to this. People's husks were strewn across the land like a layer of snow. Their fat was white and rotten into the sun. Loose flesh moving with life, but the life was merely the wriggling of hundreds of maggots consuming what was left of the muscles. Open mouths swarming with flies. She, in the spirit of someone that was not her, sought a living person in the corpses. There were none to be found. One felt like the last human in the world, at that moment.
Every day it was the same. Every day for a century. Corpses. Corpses. The smell stopped being intolerable after ten years. After fifty, she didn't notice it anymore. Yet in her chest, no, the chest of the man who had shared with her this life, was pain. It was an illness she, rationally, recognized from case studies and reports. But there was to be no rationality here. There would only be suffering, pain, and an oppressive, incurable loneliness.
A creature made of the night talked with her, no, him that was her. The creature, and the friend. They were his and her only companions for so long. How long had it been, since he had spoken? Since she spoke in his memory? Her voice croaked with underuse, but the voice produced was definitely not her own. It felt good to use their voice again, despite it. It felt like she was gaining a shred of humanity back after so long. It was almost funny how simple words could change so much. A goal. Training. After so long, a return to some semblance of normality.
She couldn't keep track of the years after that. She ran with legs that were not hers. There was a burn in the calves that were not hers. The body that was not hers, panting, tired, exhausted. Her muscles worked to soreness and yet still continued past the pain. When her body collapsed, she was sent flying into rubble as punishment. Shattered stone could be so sharp as it rained upon her, slicing skin that was not hers, and yet she felt the pain. There was no time to recover from the pain, for she had to keep running again. Years of this, and yet she felt happy. There was a goal in life again. No more aimlessly wandering around corpses, watching maggots and flies do their dirty work on fallen comrades. Run. Run as far and as fast as you could, and it still would never be fast enough.
One success to the next, really. Koishi in the body of this stranger was now with her sword deflecting a flurry of blows. An analytical eye was needed to follow the speed and the pattern. An opening, and she fought back in a body that wasn't hers, using a sword that was alien and yet familiar. When it looked like the battle would be in her favor, her opponent had read her relaxed moves and fought her openings. There, she learned his and her openings with the intimacy of a lover. Parrying became as natural as breathing. The sword was part of her arm, part of her spirit. Movements no longer come with thought, but through instinct.
Finally, a break. The man lay on a chair, exhausted. There was purpose to life, a never-ending struggle for strength. Yet, again, there was work to be done. The chair, obliterated with power. The monster before him, strong. She felt no fear though. No, fear died long ago. Fear was the poison of strength. It was more potent than any venom to numb the nerves and more effective than any drug to numb the spirit. Fear was executed in the soul of Naru Naru, and Koishi felt what it was like to be fearless.
Flames soared from her blade now. How many years had it been? Too many. Lost count. It didn't matter. Time didn't matter in this place. It was timeless with camaraderie and strength. Friendship and training. These things would never disappear from this world, no matter how much time was spent here. She understood this, as he did when he lived this life that she had the luxury of experiencing. The blade flickered downwards, and beneath her feet the ground turned to glass. A frozen ocean, waves curling into the sun. The sight was a mystery, but there were many mysteries in life. Not all had to be solved, of course.
Despite the heat of the blade and speed of the wielder, there was still more to learn. It was not fear of punishment that drove him now. There was no risk of pain, no analyzing and instinctive thought. In the glass and the rubble, Koishi sat with her comrade that she had never met, closed her eyes, and drifted in thought even as she drifted through the memory. A time to reflect, now. This perfect world was not meant to hold him forever. He'd have to go back eventually, and Koishi felt this need. At the same time... why? It was peaceful here. Naru Naru had a reason to exist here. He had carved out a life for himself, days full of training and camaraderie with friends. There was to be no hesitation now, though. Hesitation had, along with fear, been systematically removed from her system.
His friends and he stayed in relaxation of meditation together. Spiritual essences mixed and melded. Droplets of paint, mixed together with a brush, and painting on a canvas that was the world from their eyes. They came to knew each other, more intimately than lovers, closer than family, more linked than even soulmates. In that world, it was a peace with self and everything. When her eyes opened once more, she looked around her. Now came the most painful leg of the journey.
Away from the peace. Away from the joy. Away from the goals that Naru Naru had to live in this world forever, perhaps. If he hesitated, if he refused, perhaps he could've lived in there forever. Perhaps, he could've remained with his friends. It was inevitable, perhaps, but it would've been better if he had remained there forever. Even if it meant a regression, even if it meant more pain. It was easier than to separate... but he did.
Slowly, life returned to the body. Veins flowed blood back while arteries pumped. Neurons in the brain fired to reach other, chatty like a crowd of teenage girls with gossip. The neurons told the rest of the body to finally begin to come back. In the purgatory of the mind as the body recovered, Koishi reflected on what she, or rather, Naru Naru, was losing by gaining back his life. Was it truly better, this new existence? It was hard to tell.
As the rubble cleared from his body, he stood back up. Naru Naru, or Koishi herself, felt weak but stronger. Her knees barely supported her weight and yet were ready to run a thousand year marathon. As the ligaments stretched and joints popped back into place, her, or rather, his body was back in reality. Stronger than ever, with a soul heavier than possible to lift in physical form. There was no home for him here, and so she disappeared down a portal.
The night was cool on her skin. Koishi looked up, seeing herself. The last thoughts, to let someone in, just one person to shoulder the burden of this life. Koishi would be that one person.
The world returned and Koishi was herself again. Her large green eyes met those of the man, aged and she aged with him. Without warning, she leaned to him, or appeared to, suddenly weak. Instead, her thin arms wrapped around his torso, hugging him tightly in the closest expression she could muster that she understood, more than understood. She was there with him, as he had made her there to feel his pain first hand. And his reason for this was all for the comfort of dashing away loneliness.
Koishi didn't know why she was holding him tightly. It was all she could do to express her condolences, but she already knew that her gentle, welcoming touch was just a band-aid onto so much pain and struggle. She whispered into his chest, quietly, softly, with all the love of a close companion and the compassion of a pitying stranger.
"Please... Please... Let me help you..." She whispered against his flesh, struggling to speak past her tears as the sudden emotion took her.
And yet her surprise was nothing compared to the shock she felt within the moment following. He said nothing more than wondering who she was before reaching over and touching her. It was strange for a stranger to suddenly breach that limit of touching. Koishi had half a mind to back away, tell him he was overstepping his boundaries as a stranger. .. .. In this time.. he had thought like so many others she would shy away she too would succumb to what was his past. Though.. as tired as he was.. he was surprised. She someone who was realer then anything he had yet to experience in this world, someone who had not known but knew everything about him.. It was a risk.. a choice.. and a change of how he once lived his life. A life of sorrow and one of valor, it was everything but nothing at the same time. The brutal hell and the joy of revelation everything but nothing, its all the same. The world itself.. is.. the same.. the world always changed.. always grew stronger.. but he always had been left behind. Stuck in the shadow of what he needed to do, but never being strong enough to actually complete it. It was this world which he had been brought from into another.. he had shown her everything.. and now.. was surprised by her actions.
But from this moment a feeling which was long lost, one of comradeship.. one that he’d shared only twice before.. their images in his mind.. those where what had become part of it once again. Like a avenging angel.. he had returned from when others might have thought him dead.. But was he really the same again?.. Was he someone which was always the same.. It was hard to say really.. This always had haunted him., the fear of the unknown; that night he had not felt it.. and now he would not feel it. He was one of duty, he lived and he breathed but he would never fear; he had felt it once but nothing more.
It took awhile, to register these deep meaningful, and more then anything conflicting range of emotions which had gathered in his brain. Cluttered yes but not with things which could be thought or said to be nothing; they where the cluttered memories the good the bad.. He though was a shadow of what he once was.. He was always.. stuck in the realm of this and the past. Never being able to quite move forward.. Avidly he tried to answer this. Always though the futility of the task undertaken seemed to always bring itself back. To haunt and mock him.. , around this time his vocal cords had began to work once more. His lips began to become animate once more.. he felt like crying, but how would a person cry.. if they had no tears left?.. Since his had dried up a long.. long time ago, they had been the first of his emotions which failed him..
“.. Im.. sorry I showed you something.. but I could not explain it; if you want to run I understand. I’ve seen it happen time and time again.. what you saw.. was the beginning and end of an era.. It was long ago. But I remember such things with vivid detail.. I which I too would have forgotten.. but I cannot.i cannot..”..
After saying this with a tone which was not of sadness.. but of the resignation as this being his reality.. Surprisingly enough.. his arms which where stoic this whole time.. had begun to move slightly tangling around the female.. although being half hearty and over all, the gesture was heart felt.. While everything all in all was there.. He had a surprisingly warm body.. one which was well into the range of 115 degree’s.. not exactly.. uncomfortable. But a pleasant.. temperature like a hot bath..
Then came the rumble and flash of lightning.. and rain.. the whole world seemed to weep.. and he was the only one.. who was not..

Koishi was afraid, in a manner of speaking. She was a stranger in a strange land, hugging a man who belonged nowhere. She knew he could, at any moment, decide to stab her. She would lay on the ground, bleeding, and he would walk away without a care for her. He could do that. She knew he could do that. She knew that with her weak strength he could do it so quickly she wouldn't know she had been fatally wounded until her cheek was wet with her own blood and she as looking up at the sky from the pavement.
Despite this... she held onto him. Even while he was quiet, stony. What was he thinking? What was he musing? The young angel iramasha didn't know, but she hr a single-minded determination to help. It was her duty... but more than that, it was the only human reaction that could be done. It was strange that despite the existence of such holy creatures, shinigami, iramasha, and more, it is still by humanity that these races measure themselves. What was inhuman was that which was evil, and what was most human was that of compassion.
For the time he was mute, Koishi didn't let go. She said nothing to respond to his silence with her own. It was, in a way, a testament to her will. No matter what, she wanted to help this man. Her knees shook a little under her clothing, mentally exhausted and yet refusing to back down. She felt she must stay strong with what little strength she had, in order to comfort what could never be completely succored.
The stranger spoke to apologize, in his resigned tone. Koishi would have none of it. "No. You don't have to apologize." She whispered to him as he spoke, his arms awkwardly moving to embrace her as well. Was it a note of trying to comfort her tears, or a method of which he tried to accept her condolences? She didn't know, but was determined to help her as best she could for now.
"Here. Let's get out of the rain. Let me help you. I can help." She spoke softly, invitingly, just a bit louder than the rain that waterlogged their clothes. Yet, not even the sky's tears could cry enough for all that this man had needed to endure. Koishi herself didn't know if what she wanted to try would be successful. She had only heard it was possible... but she needed to try. For this man's sake.

“Yes.. I think that would be well, the rain seems to be rather persistant.. As a matter of fact.. “
H e paused looking down at her and her shaky knee’s her determined face, which seemed almost cartoonishly out of place. Not to mention the females wet and splattered clothes which clung to her petite frame.. The curves.. though she looked miserable.. and while his own clothes where wet, he had luckily enough a under garmet which was relatively dry. Though still even though he had his own problems he shrugged and pulled off the large pullover, and his dryer undershirt , which smelled not of stank or perspiration but just plain clean-ness. All the while that solem face of his had changed slightly resisting the temptation of laughing at how soaked the female actually was. Well, it was interesting but, at the same time.. she was right.. they should go somewhere preferably with a roof.
Once shucking the white under-tee shirt the long silver gash which stretched from the curve of his right hip, and went up to the right of his collar bone. The tawny bronzed skin which seemed to stretch under a well corded and muscled stature. He had many scars but most of them where not like the great scar that went through him, and exited out the back side, though it was not as big as the huge winding cut in the front of his torso. .. though it was strange. Where the droplets of water hit his skin, they sizzled and turned into steam. Another thing is shown is the blade that was his zampucto had a slightly shadowed one underneath; Which this is the one he drew, the white blade once drawn burst into flame. Moving from side to side.. it caused a orb of steam to form around them. While he sighed his other arm still having absently been around her.. comforting her..
“Ok.. you lead the way..?.. And you might need this..”
Was all he said though with that wording which conveyed the emotions and pain the ups and downs without giving out too much. Now handing her his blade handle first blood welling up on his palm though the flames did not hurt him.. Now he waited.. to see what would happen.

"Great. I... I know a place nearby we could take a break from the rain. Then I can help you." Koishi spoke this with some more confidence, her emotions shaken but regaining their composure despite the rain drenching her clothes and chilling her skin. However, she watched him pull a large sword out after taking off his clothing, drying the rain around them temporarily with heat. It felt hotter than it really was, for her chilled skin picked up the heat from the blade as almost searing. She did her best to hide this expression.
Her small, delicate hands held the man's arm to her, as if leading her. In a manner, she also was using him for support as she moved. Her limbs were numb from the cold. Being that she already had trouble moving as she was still recovering from her mental trauma, the numbness from the cold only made things harder for her. Still, she continued as best she could, braving both the heat of the blade and the cold of the night rain.
A few minutes later, she had led them to a gazebo. She had been here once or twice before and enjoyed this spot. In it, one could see everything around them and yet still feel sheltered. The roof should be enough to keep them covered. She took the stranger inside, as away from the rain as she could. Despite this, the occasional gust of wind still brought in icy droplets. It would be enough for now until the train passed.
"Here. Sit down with me. By the way, I'm Koishi. It's a pleasure to meet you." She tried to give her most affirming smile as she tugged him down, trying to be gentle the entire time, but also insistent. "I... I think I have something to help you. But you'll have to let me do it. Otherwise, I could be hurt badly." She introduced the concept to him then, trying to be sure to be as noninvasive as she could muster.

As the sky boomed once more, naru naru had allowed his figure to be led away into the night. It felt good, to have the moist and succulent feel of the water and rain against his back, the trailing drips of it coming off his blood red spikey hair. It was one of those nights which he loved and held close, of course it was the rain which comforted him, it felt almost just naturally warm against his skin Judgement and speculation. These where two of the warring usual thoughts which interestingly enough had been set aside for this particular moment. This rest from those annoying two partners of bickering and childish antics. It was for the most part as nice and cool as it would have been in a tropical rain shower.
After awhile they had stopped. And the girl.. no woman he amended and chided himself mentally, had divulged her name to him. It was interesting yes but at the same time so little interested him in the modern day’s dilemma anymore. Though this was one of those few times when something died perk that spark of interest and curiousity within him. It was interesting to meet someone who was.. kind and brave. It gave him heart to know people with these characters still could be found roaming the earth to this day.
She had told him something.. well more or less asked his permission for something. What he did not know, so this is why he did not answer but gave a short but intentful nod, letting her know she did have permission. As how would he find out by denying this helpful and pleasant stranger outright?.. As if you did not risk you did not learn, its kind of how the world seemed to work with naru naru. Almost as if it was chastising a child,.. well what else did he have to loose though?.. Therefor he had assented and given her permission then waited..
